8 Restaurants With Private-ish Spaces For You And Exactly Five Friends

"Mac and Wild’s new private lodges for four basically feel like the Scottish highlands but without having to freeze your ass off or fear any stray red deer. Plus, we’re still not 100% sure that the Loch Ness monster isn’t legit. Anyway, we checked out Mac and Wild’s glammed-up sheds and you should know that this place is home to one of London’s best burgers, deep-fried Mars bars, a whisky dispenser in each lodge, and there’s no minimum spend or booking fee. Honestly, we had such a good time, and there’s also a private converted Land Rover out front that you can book for bigger groups." - heidi lauth beasley

Khan Grill & Burgers (formerly Wild West) – Hanwell, West London I’m a regular at Khan Grill & Burgers, the newly rebranded Wild West restaurant in Hanwell, and I have to say: 💰 Great Value for Money: Between 12 PM and 5 PM, you can grab a Peri Peri Burger meal for just £6, which includes peri peri chips and a drink—an absolute steal. Other burger meals are reasonably priced, around £8-£9, with various options. 🔥 Delicious Flavors & Sauces: You can choose your burger sauce—Lemon & Herb, Mild, or Hot. I personally love the Mild because it’s the perfect middle ground. Plus, the garlic sauce on the table is incredible! 🍽 Food Presentation & Atmosphere: The food is served in beautiful plates and containers, making the presentation really stand out. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which adds to the experience. ⚠️ One Concern: I had an upset stomach after one visit, which made me wonder about hygiene. If you're cautious, you can always test food for bacteria using 3M Petrifilm E.coli / Coliform Count Plates from eBay (I didn’t do it, as the staff seems nice, and I didn’t want to offend them). Foodborne illnesses often take several hours or even days to show symptoms, depending on the type of bacteria. An upset stomach can also be caused by other factors, like food intolerances or sensitivities, rather than an illness. So, it’s not always the last meal that’s to blame—sometimes it’s just how your body reacts to certain foods. Also, one of the staff members mentioned having recovered from a cold/flu just a few days prior, so I politely asked another staff member to serve my food—just as a precaution. ⭐ Overall: Aside from that, I’m really happy with this place! The food is tasty, the prices are affordable, and the staff is kind and accommodating. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly and flavorful meal in Hanwell.

We bought the Family Feast for £32 which included 2x whole chickens, chicken wings, chicken strips, 3x portion of fries and 3x can drinks which fed five hungry people and even had 2 pieces of chicken leftover. The chicken was grilled well, and had very nice flavours (we chose the hot style which had a kick to it). The bottled chilli sauce on the table was nice also. Nice, clean, restaurant decor. Only qualm would be the fries could've been bigger portions, but apart from that we had a very nice dine-in lunch experience which worked out to be just over £6 each!

Great food, however something has always been missing when we receive our order. This happens when ordering from Deliveroo or in person and has happened 3 times so far. My fault for not checking the order I guess. Having said that the food is freshly made, staff are very polite and the chef clearly loves cooking because you cannot fault the food. No doubt will be ordering again.

The absolute worst spare ribs I’ve ever had in my life. Almost half of the ribs were just fat, it seemed they went to the butcher shop and just got the cheapest of the cheapest meat. They weren’t cooked through good, nor seasoned. They tried to make up for that by putting a lot of the cheapest tasting ever bbq sauce on it. The ribs came with onion rings which were semi-fried in oil with too low temperature. My friends had other meals of comparable quality. Despite the low quality of the food, prices are really way too high. Even for London. I’ve had meals in the city centre that were lower in price, but way better in quality. The employees of the place also don’t seem to know what they are doing. The staff was really awkward in taking orders. One of my group had been accidentally overcharged, which was a real mess to sort out. For the furniture it looks like they went to some designer and said: hey, we want something that looks American, Wild West, rodeo etc. Which they got, but it all doesn’t look really authentic. In short: only go here if it’s late in the evening and you’re really, really, REALLY hungry. Even then I would never go here again.

Newly opened place. Fresh, quality food. Variety of Burgers and Stakes. Enjoyed a lunch with family and would highly recommend this place.

The doner kebab was so tasty with it’s perfectly cooked meat, salad and special sauces. 5 stars!

I have eaten twice there and must say the food is excellent. But. Twice I have tried to order the Wild West Salad, which lists the constituent parts on the menu. First time there was no salad. Second time I asked for a Wild West Salad without onions and got one with more onions than anything else and full of peppers that weren't even listed on the menu. I think the chef is really talented but front of house are a bit rubbish. Couldn't ask for a replacement salad because the woman didn't really understand English at all. Loads of delivery drivers in and out to collect food so not conducive to a quiet dinner. But again. Excellent food.

They served me most expired and old buns ever known, it was hard as a rock, the food became punishable so much I couldn't enjoy it nor the chips (which they served as simple, soggy chips). Sauce I'm the burger was just mess, these guys are a hit or miss.
