Excellent breakfast spot. The cinnamon roll pancakes are fantastic. I would also recommend the brisket skillet and the goat cheese and bacon omellette. Service was excellent. We got right in with 9 people. There's often a line, but it moves very quickly.

Not really sure what the hype is of this place. There’s nothing spectacular about the egg dishes at all- you can legit just crack an egg and toast a piece of bread at home and it will taste the same. I’m not a fan of blueberries in pancakes but I decided to give it a try since it’s so popular, but their ‘famous’ berry pancake did not taste good at all. I’d only go back for the cinnamon pancakes. And the coffees were horrible. It is a cheap breakfast place and the taste of the food reflects that. They also brought the food in less than 5 minutes which led me to wonder how much effort do they really put in each meal.

Amazing. The pancakes really were the best. Highly recommend the signature berry! Also got the ham and cheese scrambled eggs dish and an espresso smoothie- all so good! Service was fast. Despite so many people we only waited a few minutes before getting a table. Highly recommend and what a great atmosphere!

Amazing! There is sometimes a line around the corner for a good reason. They have wonderful indoor and outdoor seating. The food portions are generous and everything that we had over the course of two meals was fantastic. Highly recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice and the skillets. Lots of different pancake options were all delicious. Omelette was delicious. Cortado came with a beautiful heart on top.

Food was good but even though I was a party of 1, they let people who signed up after me with a party of 2 and 3 go ahead of me, which I would have understood if they were giving me a smaller table. But they gave me the same size table as the ones they let go ahead of me but registered after I did. So there didn't seem to be any methodology on how they assigned tables. And I even said I didn't have a preference on inside or outside. Just first available knowing it's 48 degrees in November in Chicago.

Best breakfast we had on our vacation, cookie dough waffle and chocolate chip banana pancakes were amazing. Service was quick and delightful. More of your high end place, looked like a local stop before going to work nearby. Waited maybe 2 min for a table. Would definitely go back!

I know this place gets a lot of positive reviews, and the queues to get in speak volumes as to how popular it is, but it just wasn’t great for me. Can’t fault the staff or the atmosphere, it was the food and the insanely large portions that just mean you end up wasting food. Sure, you can pack if you’re a local (and many do), but from what I saw many also don’t and a lot just gets left in the plate and cleared away. I had the chocolate and banana French toast, and my wife had the cinnamon spiced pumpkin pancakes. Mine was insanely sweet, it was just like eating mouthfuls of sugar. My wife’s was about the size of her, and she only managed to finish just one and a half pancakes out of a stack of five. So our experience wasn’t great, I’m sorry to say. The drinks were nice though. The acid test is if we’d go back again, and I have to say that unfortunately we wouldn’t.

This place was unreal. We had a wonderful breakfast here on a weekday. Luckily, we came at a good time with no line and were seated promptly - and outdoors!! The lattes are tall and yummy with unlimited coffee refills.Our favorite dish was the crepes, especially the banana cream pie one - yum!!a tangent: There’s a breakfast place which we used to love in the suburbs of Chicago, blueberry Hill, where in the past you could really customize your meals and have a mix of sweet and savory every time, but that place changed quite a bit and no longer offers such an option, and we arrived here very nostalgic for what we thought we couldn’t get again. At Wildberry our breakfast dreams came true - They really set up the various breakfast options on the menu so that you can choose your dream breakfast of your choice with a mix of sweet, savory, and whatever other additions you want. There are lots of options, and everything is excellent. Both the pancakes and crepes are amazing, and I had the cauliflower hash which was healthy and quite unique, flavorful and light. One in our party got the chicken sandwich and loved it. Would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a good breakfast stop in downtown Chicago.

Amazing food! I can't say enough about how great and perfect portions they offer. I ordered the banana coconut crepes with a side of bacon and drank chia tea at a business meeting and it was AMAZING! They offered outdoor seating which really helps get you in due to how incredibly busy they are. It was a bit cold but the hot drinks and conversation was able to distract to how cold it was outside. Curious to see how long they will continue to use outdoor seating. Our server was great and quick with services even with how busy they were. The only one that sounded like she might not care of her job was the young lady up front taking and calling names on the waitlist. If you haven't tried this place for breakfast, it is a MUST! We had a great variety ordered at the table of skillets, pancakes, waffles, omelets and it all looked fatastic.

We got lucky since we didn't have a long wait. We ordered the Butcher Block Sizzling Skillet. It comes with pancakes, but we subbed it for a specialty Banana Coconut Cream Pie pancake for $3.00 extra. The Butcher Block Sizzling Skillet was pretty good and flavorful. I'm not a huge pancake person, so the Banana Coconut Cream Pie pancake tasted okay to me. It didn't taste anything special except a regular pancake with bananas and coconut shaving. First thought : Wait times were amazingly quick. I am very curious to know what processes they have set up in their kitchen that made the time from us ordering to when we got our food so short. Also, we walked up with trepidation as there were quite a few people waiting for table outside - probably 20 or so. We only waited 15 minutes, which is about what was estimated for us when we put our name on the list for a table. It was a little chilly day - 50degF or so, a little breezy, but honestly, we sat outside and the way the restaurant juts out from the block of buildings it's attached to, it provides a nice patio area where the breeze was pretty much blocked for us and we sat pleasantly out in the sun, so it wasn't as chilly as I was expecting. Food was very solid. I can see why it has such a high Yelp review average. But I caution anyone ordering their Chipotle Hollandaise. I love Hollandaise, and I had high hopes for a buttery, rich sauce with a hint of smoky heat. Well, that's what I was expecting. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it reminded me of Chipotle Ranch. I hate Ranch. This was not ideal. I don't know if they're just in the Midwest and expect people to love Ranch, so they don't actually make real Hollandaise here or if there is something about the Chipotle flavoring they add that throws it off, but it was awful. My friend also thought it tasted a bit off, and she didn't get it in the side. I believe, "overwhelming" was the word she used to describe it on her Eggs Benedict. With that being said, I would definitely come back here to try their regular Hollandaise to see if this was an outlier or if it is, on the whole, gross.

My boyfriend and I arrived in Chicago super early in the morning and we weren't able to check-in the hotel yet, so we walked around to get as much sightseeing as we could. We went to see the Cloud Gate Bean, and on the way I saw Wildberry Pancakes. I recognized the name from Yelp when I was searching popular places to go. This place had 9,800+ reviews so I knew we had to try it. We went right when it opened at 7am and there was no line at all. We shared an order of the corned beef hash $21 and a side order of pancakes. The corned beef hash portion was a lot, and we could barely finish the food. It's a good portion to share. The pancakes were ok, nothing special. Service was nice and friendly. By the time we left the restaurant maybe a half hour or so later the line was long outside. Get there right when they open to avoid a long wait time.

Wildberry Pancakes and Café has a special menu you can't skip. That's where I found their Italian Beef Eggs Benedict, unexpectedly amazing! Pair it with a latte on a chilly Chicago day, and winter's instantly better.

My family came in later on a Saturday right before closing. We had good food, good service and fast. I had a gluten free waffle, which was delicious. I would not recommend the veggie patty as it was kind of a weird eating experience, but everything else was pretty good.

Wildberry Pancakes is the absolute best bfast spot for pancakes in Chicago in my opinion. This was my 2nd visit but this was a new location for me. I got the signature berry bliss pancakes and the veggie scramble it was a lot of food but your girl was hungry and ready to have the best of sweet and savory. I've never had pancakes as soft and melt in your mouth I love the toppings on the signature berry bliss so fresh and just sinfully good. The scramble is so healthy and damn delicious this is the only place that I've had a scramble that adds asparagus and brocolli and it's foooo freaking good. I've even tried to make it at home and it tastes nothing like theirs. I love this spot. This is a must visit when visiting Chicago!!

Great spot for breakfast. I can't give it 5 stars my hollandaise sauce was too salty on my Florence Benedict, it was good otherwise. The winner was the pumpkin spice latte! My friends all enjoyed their breakfasts from the gluten free pancakes, omelette and the hash browns! Oh and our waiter and wait staff are amazing!!

This place is not an exaggeration! Everything here is great and the serving sizes are super generous!! If you're looking for something warm in a cold Chicago day, definitely opt for the pumpkin bread French toast- it's superb! Made with pumpkin bread and with a. Delicious pumpkin spice swirl on top! It's the ultimate cold day pick-me-upper! If you're there on a hot day and need something refreshing, opt for the wild berry orignal pancakes/ or French toast. The blueberry coulie is so refreshing! And the pancakes are light and fluffy! The veggie skillet was also great with great portion sizes! The coffee was also good and kept coming, which was appreciated with all this morning sweetness, the fresh pressed orange juice also had good reviews but the iced chai latte seemed to fall short :) Overall a good experience! Get there early, because it's a popular place and lineups start around 9am!

Amazing! All the reviews are correct! I often think some places are overrated, this isn't one of them. Service great, food was amazing and huge portions. We shared and still had leftovers. Best hash browns I've ever had!

Was in Chicago for the weekend and wanted to give this place a try for brunch after a morning flight. There was a long wait outside the restaurant. It was a 45 min to an hour wait on a Saturday. You cannot go far because they only take down your name and you have to be nearby to hear your name be called. Food also came out really slow. I feel like the pancake is super expensive. It was $20 for a stack of berry pancakes, nothing too memorable and the berry was super sour. The southern Benedict was okay but not the best I've had. The service is mediocre was sat under the windows and the sun was shining really bright into our eyes and half way through our meal the staff put the shade down. Although our waiter was attentive he didn't refill our water until I asked for a refill.

The whole family made it here Wednesday afternoon. It was busy, especially the seating area outside but there was no wait to eat inside. I think Wildberry did a nice job catering to a party of six. All orders were placed and everyone got their food in a timely manner. I had the cauliflower skillet for the 1st time. My only complaint is that it contained a fair amount of flax seeds and it's not indicated on the menu. The cauliflower skillet has probably been my least favorite entree so far and it was alright. The signature berry bliss pancakes has been my fav here and are always delicious. The family didn't have any complaints and everybody seemed to really love their food. The servings are always large and at a fair price. Wildberry has always been pretty solid for a great breakfast.

Baaayyybbbeeee let me tell you... this restaurant is a must! Visited Chicago for the first time with my son and we both enjoyed this place very much. As you can see from the pictures, we had a great time. Flavorful, the wait was long as hell but it was worth it. When I'm in Chicago, I have to come here again.

The line outside always looks intimidating but the wait actually doesn't take that long (15-20min). However, your WHOLE party must be there to be seated (your "place" in line can be skipped if your whole party isn't there). I have been dreaming about coming back to this place ever since moving to Asia. We came the day before labor day and thank God we could get seated!! The Mexicana skillet is always my favorite but this time I forgot to request for the chili peppers to be removed and it tasted a little too salty. The Berry Bliss pancakes are good but very sweet. I tried their wildberry orange juice and it was amazing! My nieces wouldn't stop drinking from the straw ^__^ I definitely would still come back here next time I am in town. I miss their seasonal Hot Apple Cider and decorations. But their food is always stellar and our waiter was helpful and especially with allergy questions.

The food here tastes amazing, the portion sizes are a big bigger than I thought. We came in without looking at any photos prior and were surprised with how much food they give. The service was fast and friendly. Our waiter was kind to have a conversation with us and tell us places to visit in Chicago. The ambiance is very clean inside, but very busy. A lot of people every where and it could be tight to walk in between places.

Okay breakfast but not sure I get the hype. Ordered the two eggs any way breakfast with Blueberry danish pancakes. Pancakes were dry and bacon was overcooked. The eggs and hash browns were good though. Latte was forgettable. Service was vey attentive. I sat inside and somehow multiple bees made their way into the restaurant including one that dived into the neighboring tables water. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again but glad I tried once after the many recommendations.

Came here during Lollapalooza on 08/03/24! The amount of people waiting for this place was actually crazy, especially since we were waiting outside in the heat (it was pretty hot!). However, we ended up being seated pretty fast. The only problem I had was it was outside and there's definitely not enough shade for the whole group. I got the corn beef hash! It was so good and filling, you'll definitely need to take a to go bag! The serving sizes here are huge! In my opinion, it's definitely worth it. You're paying for what you get for sure! Overall, my group enjoyed the food here, was just alittle hot (maybe invest in some fans?). If I'm ever in Chicago again, I'll definitely stop by and try again!

The cinnamon roll pancakes are basically a cinnamon roll but in pancake form. Absolutely delicious. Is it worth the price of $24 with tax and tip ? Once, yes. Will I go back, no. Too steep to make this a go-to spot but glad I tried it.

Got the Mexicana skillet and added $3 to get a speciality pancake instead of regular pancakes. It was more than enough for two people. The signature berry pancakes were too sweet for me but the banana cream coconut pancake was delicious and well balanced. These pancakes were fluffy and light, they were the best pancakes I've ever had! Came here on a Saturday morning at 8:30am and didn't have to wait for a table outside. However it got really busy around 9:30 so keep that in mind!

My partner and I were on a weekend trip, our first time visiting Chicago and Wildberry came highly recommended online, via Yelp and many blogs I read. We went around 10am and there was a bit of a wait for the inside (30-40 minutes). They had heaters outside, and it was immediate seating so we decided to sit outside. We were there the first weekend in November during the hot chocolate run, so it was a bit chilly and a bit crowded. I had the honey toffee nut latte with almond milk and my partner had the caramel latte. They were both good. We also had the breakfast panini to share with the aioli on the side. The hash-browns were delicious, the sandwich was good too. It comes on sourdough bread, which I love! The waitress was nice and checked on us a normal amount of times. Overall, the experience was good considering how cold it was outside. I wouldn't say it's anything I couldn't get where I live in Tampa and the prices were kind of steep (but I realize Chicago is much pricier than Tampa!) I don't know that I would go back, but it was an overall good experience.

Came here on a Sunday morning around 9:30am and it was packed!! Luckily for a party of 6 it only took us 15mins to get seated as they have an ample amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered their fresh squeezed berry orange juice which was so good and their Denver skillet (similar to an omelette) that comes with egg, ham, bell peppers, cheese, onion, on top of a bed of hash browns and with a side of 2 buttermilk pancakes. The skillet was tasty and packed with plenty of ham and veggies, but i felt like the hash browns needed some salt and pepper to make them that much better. The real star of the show here though is their delicious pancakes!! I got them with no toppings and just added their butter and syrup to them and they were literally melt in your mouth with just the right amount of sweetness. If you're on the fence of what to order here, just order pancakes and you will not be disappointed!!!

Wildberry Cafe was one of the locations that was on my must visitlist to try while I was in town. It is located right by Millennium Park and luckily I wasn't staying too far from here. I was there in a random Wednesday morning so it wasn't too busy and I didn't have to wait. Overall, the restaurant is pretty big and the food comes out very quickly. I got the Very Berry pancakes. The portions are really huge, you could definitely share this with another person. Service is really good, my waitress was very friendly and I can see how this place can be very busy and why it's as popular as it is. This is a must visit for great breakfast items here in Chicago.

The food was amazing and service was phenomenal. The wait time was about 20 minutes which was shocking based on the number of people waiting. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I had the Waffle with chicken and bacon. Booths we're spacious and family friendly

Great place to come for brunch! Portions are on the larger side and very fair. Would probably half my order with another person if I were to come back since my appetite isn't as big in the mornings. Brisket hash was super yummy and meat was tender and soft to chew, probably one of the best briskets I've ever gotten for a breakfast spot. My partner got the chicken and biscuit and the pork gravy on top was thick and yummy! All food in the photo was for four people and we were not able to finish, so consider sharing if you aren't too hungry!! Overall service was great and food came out quick, portions were great and no complaints with flavor! would definitely recommend this spot for those looking for a filling brunch spot in the city!

On Saturday myself and a friend ate at the E Randolph location. We were not able to make a reservation ahead of time but were placed on a waiting list. We waited about 30 minutes which was not very long and the food was well worth the wait. The overall service was 10 out of 10. We needed for nothing. The ambiance was great as well. We enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the restaurant and the wait time for our food was satisfactory. It will Not be my last time eating here

I'll be dreaming of this breakfast for years. Fast and friendly service and delicious food. Got the Berry Waffles and the Chicken and Biscuits. Absolutely amazing.

This restaurant is known for its highly-rated brunch and famous pancakes, so I had to check it out. While I'm not a huge pancake fan, I do love waffles, and this place didn't disappoint! It was busy and lively, but totally worth the wait. I ordered the signature Berry Bliss Waffles, and they were absolutely delicious. The combination of berry mascarpone and vanilla cream drizzle was pure heaven! If you're looking for a great spot for breakfast or brunch, I'd highly recommend coming here!

I'm wishing Wildberry had a location in Cincinnati - we've been here twice and both times the experience was exceptional - they have a nice selection of traditional breakfast favorites! The skillet breakfast is fit for a Lumberjack - my omelette was so light and tender - stuffed with mushrooms and cheese - ask about some of their off menu items - Our servers were great too - you'll want to get in early since this place gets hopping around 9:00am or so - the homey decor and open space are welcoming and warm - this is a must stop on the Chicago breakfast trail -

My husband and I came here for breakfast while exploring Chicago with our dog. Dog friendly patio was a plus (with lots of umbrellas for shade)! The waitress was very friendly and attentive to our waters. She also made sure that our dog had plenty of water too! We ordered a hazelnut latte, side of scrambled eggs, and Mexicana skillet. The latte was okay (coffee had a slightly burnt flavor), but the rest of the meal was great. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the chorizo was slightly spicy with lots of flavor and the salsa provided a nice acidity to balance the dish. It was a generous portion too, so it was easy for my husband and I to share. It was nice that the meal came with a choice of pancakes or toast. The pancakes were super fluffy and had great texture. I liked the powered sugar on top too. I wish they had the powdered sugar on the bottom pancake as well. I am picky with syrup, so I was not a huge fan but the pancakes really did not even need it. We're really happy we stopped by here.

The wait here is substantial. I wish they accepted Yelp waitlist like other locations. That being said, like other locations, the food is great and the service prompt once you actually get seated. My husband tried the avocado toast which he really enjoyed. I got the Rockford omelette which came with buttermilk pancakes. I love getting some pancake while also getting omelette. We were here once before and I got a veggie omelette which was also very good. Great brunch spot! Just expect a wait even on a weekday.

I love the breakfast options at this place. Every time I visit Chicago I go here for breakfast! my favorite are the hash plates I think I have had them all. Is a bit pricey but worth it ! the staff is attentive .. note to make a reservation. before had other wise the way is long. I start my day there and then I make my way to the Nutella store around the corner and from the to visor the rest of more iconic things of Chicago all walking wise. I recommend this place.

Wildberry was just what we needed after a long red-eye flight to Chicago! There was no wait for indoor seating, and a brief wait for outdoor seating. Our waiter was incredibly sweet, and while the restaurant was packed, he still made sure to come check on us and ask if our food was good. We ordered the Los Altos eggs benedict and buttermilk pancakes with fresh berries on the side. The chorizo in the benedict had the perfect amount of spice and paired beautifully with the hollandaise sauce and eggs. The pancakes were moist and fluffy, and we were very satisfied with our meal. Overall, the service was great and the food was delicious! We will definitely be coming again.

This place is great! I came here once when visiting Chicago years ago and wanted to try it again--it was just as good as I remembered. We came at around 12:50 and only had to wait around 10 minutes for a table, their check in process is very smooth and efficient. This is definitely a super popular place but the waitstaff is still attentive and speedy. Would highly recommend the dishes we ordered, for the skillet you can sub a specialty pancake for your side so we chose the berry bliss pancakes. I don't have a sweet tooth so I definitely needed the other dishes to balance out the pancakes (which were delicious!). A great, casual place to come for breakfast or brunch :)

I took out breakfast from here on a Saturday morning. Signature Berry Bliss pancake was my favorite. It had 5 pancakes. Pancakes were fluffy and tasty. Corned beef benedict was my other item. That was good as well. Lavendar Matcha latte was a good drink to go for.

Lots of room to sit both inside & outside. We didn't have to wait to be seated for a party of 2 on a Wednesday morning. Our waitress was very nice & friendly. We shared a Butcher Block Skillet & had a side of Cinnamon Roll pancakes. This was the perfect portion to split between two people! The skillet was yummy & the cinnamon roll pancakes were also delicious! I also got a seasonal Caramel Apple Butter Chai which tasted like a caramel apple & was not too sweet.

They do a really good job of getting people seated quickly despite the long line. The waitstaff are attentive and professional. Unfortunately the food is just mid at best. Pancakes (the flavored ones) taste a little "artificial" and egg dishes are pretty meh. Wouldn't come back again most likely.

This place came highly recommended by our nearby hotel staff. It was a quick walk, and we were able to be seated right away. By the time we left, the line to wait was out the door...even in the rain!! Our server was TROY, and he was amazing!!! Friendly, patient, and his recommendations were spot on We started with water and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is delicious. Everything on both sides of the menu is available, so dont worry if some seem more on the lunch side. I got the brisket grilled cheese. 11/10. Seasoned perfectly, grilled perfectly. I would go back again just for that. And rhe fries, exactly how I like them. My friend got the vegan hash, and just look at it!!! Huge portion, definitely had to take some to go. Could've been seasoned a little better, but nothing the salt and pepper at the table couldn't fix. I would definitely come back based off Troy's service, the food...and all the different flavor pancakes we need go try!!

So darn good! More expensive than I would typically pay for breakfast food, but decent portions. I had the butcher block eggs and the cinnamon roll pancakes and completely devoured. Got my life. Achieved foodie bliss, OK! The wait wasn't that bad and wound up not being the 20 minutes they originally told us. I must return when I am in the Chi-town streets again.

This place was awesome. We walked right in around 11AM on a Monday afternoon, prior to making our way over to the Art Institute, and were greeted by friendly waitstaff and quick cups of coffee. The barbacoa chilaquiles were great, if a bit different than those I'm used to, and the signature berry bliss pancakes evoked....bliss. Prices were reasonable, and the meal was filling. Would highly recommend.

Incredible cinnamon pancakes stack! Order tips: *Get the skillet (Denver skillet was incredible) *upgrade to side of cinnamon pancakes *add side of fresh strawberries. Plenty of food for two! This was the best of both worlds. Every bite was delicious to the end. We LOVE this place. Staff was friendly and efficient. The wait time is crazy on weekends, so get there early to get on the wait list. Atmosphere was clean and bright or you could choose to eat outdoors. --muffins outsourced, but still pretty good, hash browns were yum.

A little bit of a line to be seated inside, but seated right away outside with outdoor heating provided to heat the space. Tried the Mexican skillet and the cinnamon roll pancake. Everything was delicious and a nice view of the city while eating.

Great veggie omelette loaded up. Fluffy egg whites. Great service. Friendly spot. Good vibe. Loud though and packed on weekends. Go midweek or you will wait 1 hour. We went on Monday morn No wait but still packed. Huge pancakes and awesome skillet options

The food was hott, the portions were just perfect and the service was amazing. I had pleasure of having corned beef and hash with pancakes. It was so delicious and made my morning. The place was packed and people were enjoying. Can't wait to come back when I'm in Chicago next.

First let me start off by saying be prepared to wait. I went on a Sunday morning. The wait for one person was an hour. The host didn't take a number, she told me to check back at the host stand in 45 mintues to see where I was on the list. You had to stand close by to hear your name being called. They have patio sitting. It was a longer wait to sit inside, since it was 90 plus degrees, I decided to wait those extra minutes to sit inside. Once I was seated, they were quick, I had someone take my drink order and before my drink came out the server came over to ask if I had any questions about the menu and if I was ready to order. I ordered Two Eggs Any Style meal with the Nutella Biscoff Pancake. The portion sizes are large, I was not able to finish all my food. The Nutella Pancake is a seasonal pancake, and you really do not need syrup for it. The food and service were good, definitely worth the wait.

Decided to go to Wildberry the last morning in Chicago. This was a good choice. From the wildberry OJ to the garden skillet (with a few pieces of bacon on the side), everything was so good. The skillet was so fresh and full of savory veggies. On this morning, they were very busy, but traffic seemed to flow. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed, and it did not take long for us to be seated and receive our food. I enjoyed my time at Wildberry. Great location downtown.
