Wilka's Sports Bar

Can't say enough good about Wilka's. We finally have a place in New York for women's sports but Wilka's is also the new nicest chill hangout bar in the LES. They have a great, tight selection of drinks and their food is surprisingly gourmet, including tons of vegan options. We'll plan to be back time and time again and make this our new local.

One of my fav bars in the neighborhood EVER! Crowd and staff are sweeties, the space is gorgeous (big but still friendly), the women’s sports are on point, the drinks and nosh are lovely, ugh it’s the best. I made all my bud meet up there to watch the Olympics and it was a DREAM! Plenty of space to sit together, but not weird and empty, Lauren and Sasha were so helpful and thoughtful getting the tvs set up with the event we requested, and so attentive throughout the night even though it was busy. Was so excited to introduce my friends to this sick spot. Everyone go, book a party, bring all your friends, have a great time!

This was our Valentines celebration. LSU vs South Carolina.Food was tasty. Not a large menu but we made a couple selections and enjoyed them. The chips and dip was good and the turkey, salami, mozzarella panini was enjoyable. After having our savory courses we were in the mood for something sweet. They do not have any desserts on the menu. Perhaps this could be something to consider for the future.

Love Wilka’s, such a fun and laid-back spot where everyone’s welcome and the vibe’s always good. It’s so great to finally have a place to watch women’s sport from all over, surrounded by people who actually care about the game. The Sunboy spritz goes down a treat. Carrrn aussies!

Sadly I was only in the city for the weekend - I would probably live at this bar if I could. Popped in to watch Unrivaled and had such a great time. I felt very welcomed by the staff, and the couple drinks I had were all great. Watch women's sports ♥️

What a gem of a place, I'm so glad I stumbled upon this new bar. Drinks are fantastic, food is great- they specialize in grilled cheeses and have vegan options! The space is large, yet cozy. I love the fact that they play women's sports games!

So excited that this place finally opened up! It’s chill and has a great beer, drink and NA selection. The service was great, helpful and attentive. Not sure if the menu is still small because of the opening or if it plans to expand but there’s no bar classics like wings, nachos or fries.

My bartender Andra, was amazing when I came here the other day to watch some sports not just any sports but women sports. She took very good care of me. We had a great conversation I will definitely be spending my money here for now on!

Just spent a delightful and mellow afternoon here with friends. I found the bar to be pleasantly rustic and the staff to be warm and friendly. Also, the space itself is quite spacious and accessible for the physically disabled. Nice mix of high and low-top seating. The bathroom was ample and clear and should be quite usable for just about anyone, they even had the right handrails by the toilet so wheelchair transfers shouldn't be a problem. The door's a bit heavy but I would imagine that could be adjusted or someone could be asked to help with no problem. I would come back here any time! L

After going to so many bars who would not play women sports it's refreshing being able to support your teams. I love it here and deserves the hype because the bartenders are wonderful!

Came here for a Liberty game with a bunch.of friends. The place is just getting started, so there are mostly good sandwiches--including vegan-- and chips. Good cocktail/beer selection and even a nonalchy beer. The server was friendly and even listened to suggestions for the menu. Lots of big screens to view from anywhere in the bar. I can't wait to see how they grow!

The Liberty team may have lost tonight, but I didn't! I'm so happy this place finally opened. New York needed a sports bar that is focused on women's sports. They have ample seating, great ways to watch live sports, and a fantastic team. The bartenders are nice and informative, and really add to the space. The vibes are fantastic, and they have clean bathrooms. The drinks are great, and well priced- and the food menu is solid. I plan on coming back in the near future, and I can see myself watching a lot of women's sports here. Highly recommend!
