Hi peers and friends, I visited this place on Feb 6, and I ordered the shrimp and chicken salad, and the cheddar hamburger with sweet potatoes fries, chips and salsa, which for me are the best in town so far, hamburger was cook to perfection, juicy and savory, the cheddar bun was ok. Sweet potatoes where crispy with the right amount of salt, salad was good, clean and the grilled shrimps were excellent, tasty, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, service was speedy and on point. Atmosphere was good on the crowded side a little after 330 pm, full bar with plenty of beernon the tap to choose from along with the well known frozen margaritas, which I skipped this time. I was celebrating a friend's birthday party and this was a great choice for the gathering whit the exception of location, this was my first time at the Cypress one (Barker Cypress and 290), by H*B. If you are looking for a place to gather, mingle, and enjoy good laid-back food, for $ to $$ expenditure, then thisnis a great place. Like always I'm a fan of reviewing the state of bathrooms and overall features, and I wasn't disappointed, bathrooms were clean, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, clean and "no sticky floors", which is always a plus. There you go, I highly recommend this place!! Like I always remind you, please tip well no matter your expectations and experience, servers just people catering to you, so be nice and respectful always. More to comeeeeee!!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Willie’s is our favorite local spot. The menu is great and the service is fast & friendly. Emily R always gives us incredible service! The burgers, fish tacos and salads are delicious. The strawberry margaritas are a personal favorite but there’s a nice bar inside too. This place is a must try.

Husband and I stopped in around 7 pm like we normally do when we are craving delicious chicken wings for an affordable dinner. Rebecca our server was very attentive and friendly. We have always had a great experience with all the staff but Rebecca was amazing and one of the best servers we had there. She knew exactly when to approach us and all the right things to say!! Thanks Rebecca you were definitely the highlight of our night.

1st time visiting this store. Decent food Was busy but service seemed fast for the building to be packed. The bathrooms were clean and the door gave me a good laugh Small arcade in the corner.

Dine in service was good, but had ordered the Smoked Gouda Cheesesteak . But the picture online is not what I received. Tried calling the restaurant and seems almost impossible to get a hold of a manager. The first picture is what is shown on their website. The second picture is what I received.

Willie's Grill & Icehouse is hands down one of my favorite spots! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, laid-back, and perfect for kicking back with friends or family. The food is consistently delicious and made right-the burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the fries are always hot and crispy. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Mackenzie deserves a special shout-out. They're friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to care about making sure you have a great experience. Service is quick without ever feeling rushed, even when the place is busy. Whether you're stopping in to watch a game, enjoy a cold drink on the patio, or grab a solid meal you can count on, Willie's never disappoints. Great food, great drinks, great service, and a fun atmosphere-this place is a must-visit and one I'll continue coming back to!

Just had a quick lunch here and was quite pleased -- the food was hot, tasted great, and their ranch is its own food group. Miss Maddie was awesome, too, making sure we had everything we needed and making sure our glasses were never empty. The sweet tea, historically a bit inconsistent, was even on point today. See y'all next time!

Happy Hour- There are $3 margaritas and beers on tap and $5 appetizers (with some limitations on the more expensive items). What a great deal and the food is hot and fresh. If you have never been to Willie's, you will order at the counter, pick up your beverage, pick a seat, the waiter will come to the table and confirm your order, and you will pay after you eat. It is a very chill environment with lots of bar food (burgers, fried food, etc). My family usually orders some kind of burger. I personally like their mushroom turkey burger with sweet potato fries. Their kids meals are solid at $7.49 and come with a side and drink. I also like the fried mushrooms for an appetizer.

The service was good but the food was ify My potato was overdone and they didn't give enough of sour cream so there's that The restaurant was clean and there weren't many people there for lunch time My best friend had the pulled pork and it didn't agree with her stomach the one in San Antonio is better than this one Was disappointed in the food

I went for my free birthday meal today, value up to $19.95!! I had blackened salmon, grilled vegetables and Mexican corn and everything was delicious. My friend had the patty melt burger, it was excellent. It was so big. She ate half of it and took the rest home. Excellent service. Family friendly restaurant we've been going to for many many years, and it's really close to home. I always love their hamburgers, the salads are huge, onion rings were giant and so fresh and delicious. I also like the fried mushrooms and fried shrimp platter. Try it I think you'll like this place! Lots of beer selections on ice cold to grab on your way in and you can get a flight of frozen margaritas!

Needed a burger, stat! Here come Willie's. They certainly didn't disappoint. Immediate service with a smile. Sitting in the cool, eclectically designed dining area chomping on some chips & queso while waiting for my order was great way to start my lunch. The Willie burger with sweet potato fries was amazing down to the last bite. Definitely a spot to return over and over again.

I go to the Hwy 249 site in Cypress. Mains and sides always delicious! Nice decor, pleasant staff. Always enjoy a meal there !

I've been a huge fan of Willie's Grill and Icehouse for years. Through good times and bad, I've continued to support them, whether the food was excellent or just okay, and whether the service was top-notch or left something to be desired. Fried Catfish- 5/5 Side Salad- 5/5 Caesar Salad with Fried Shrimp-5/5 Coleslaw- 3/5 Big Willie Margarita- 4/5 Chips and Queso- 3/5 Cleanliness 4/5 Ambiance- 4/5 My husband and I decided to have dinner at this location on a Friday evening. As expected, the place was lively, packed with customers, and full of energy. Our food was delicious and served piping hot. The fried fish and shrimp tasted like they had been cooked in fresh oil--so kudos to the kitchen staff for maintaining high sanitation and cleanliness standards. I do have two complaints, though. 1. It was uncomfortably cold. The air vent directly above us blasted cold air onto our table, making it hard to relax and enjoy our meal. We ended up eating quickly before our food got too cold. This has been a consistent issue with Willie's for years--the dining area is often freezing! 2. The prices have gone up. It had been a while since our last visit, and we noticed a significant price increase. Willie's is all about comfort food, and while the quality is solid, it doesn't quite justify the price hike. If it's not broken, why fix it? That said, the service was great. Our waitress, whose name I believe was Alex--was incredibly friendly and attentive despite being busy. I also appreciated how neatly our food was plated, but the portion sizes are the same even though the prices have spiked. Overall, aside from the cold air attacking us, we enjoyed our visit. However, we didn't stick around for long because of the temperature. I probably would have ordered another Big Willie Margarita, but I didn't want to turn into Ice Girl--lol. The killing part is that we were both wearing jackets but still freezing. That's how cold it was. I'll still visit from time to time, just not as often as before. I recommend this spot for those who enjoy a high-energy, lively atmosphere where you can kick back, let loose, and unwind. But beware of the cold inside temperature...brr

If you're looking for a no frills American fare joint, Willie's is the place to go. The menu is quite extensive, but I've only really been here for the burgers and chicken tendies...both excellent! Willie's is set up like a fast casual restaurant where you order at the register first, but uniquely you still get a waitress at your table who will confirm your order and get you anything you need. Every time we've been we've had excellent customer service and great tasting food. I haven't tried their alcohol drinks yet but they sure do look yummy! Will be back for sure!

Took my luncheon date to Willies located at 24236 NW Fwy today (10-29-25) for lunch and didn't really want a burger so i ordered the Gumbo Shrimp & Sasuage large bowl of Gumbo for $13.49. It was served "Luke Warm", 3 cracker packets, very little rice with in the serving but plenty of liquid making up the ingreadents,,, Plus it taste like it was from a Cambells can. Suggest sticking w/ their burgwer which my date said was excellent.

Wow Willie's has really lost its touch. We were there today and the food was just awful. Food was cold and had to be sent back. The grilled chicken sandwich tasted burnt. The pick two appetizers all the breading was tasteless and soggy. Only saving grace was our server Jennifer did what she could. When my food returned it was just nuked in the microwave which dried out my chicken and the rice was still cold. This was the second time we had bad food. In the past was never the case.

Good food and friendly service. Portions are a little smaller [see photo]. There is usually a crowd because the restaurant is popular, but there is plenty of free parking.

Food: Chicken Tenders are out of this world best I've had recently, thick juicy soft and huge!. 100% Recommend them. Outside seating was cozy. Service: Jordan was Great! Visited about 4 times, never felt I had to look for her. Trying the burgers next time. Great place for sure.

Sometimes you just can't beat fried food, cold beer, and a place to watch your sports team. All willies nail those 3 components down solidly. This is the location I grew up going to and for 10 years now I don't think the menu has changed all that much, and I don't think it needs to honestly. I mostly come here for the frozen drinks, which could definitely be a bit stronger, and the beer. The food is just fine, and that's alright with me, just needs to soak up some alcohol. Walk up and order your food and find a seat, a friendly server walks up and gets everything taken care of for you after that. I love that you can just chill out here with your friends for a while and watch a game. The new additions of the bar and the electronic payment from your phone are welcome quality of life additions.

This place is just okay. Not being from Texas, I didn't actually know what this place was like so I was taken aback that you have to order your food before you sit down and seat yourself. The food was mediocre, not very seasoned and the drinks were not strong at all. Probably won't be back even though I live so close.

Gerry was outstanding today, he was considerate for our seating arrangements and understanding when the burger we had ordered came out wrong. He immediately took it back and had the issue remediated in a jiffy. The hosts were super sweet and the food was outstanding. Overall satisfied and wish this place nothing but the best going forward.

Drive thru wasn't that great and food order was wrong and hamburger was raw. Not sure if I will give it another go or not

Can't really remember my server, but CERTAINLY REMEMBER BOLIVAR! It was a busy holiday Saturday afternoon, around lunch time, with all the kids home from school, college, out-of-towners, etc., so the manager, BOLIVER, picked up the slack AND THEN SOME! So friendly, attentive-throughout our entire visit-stopping by our table SEVERAL TIMES! Often picking up our used dishes, etc, refresh drinks, offering to bring us things, and always so helpful and friendly! Such a warm and energetic personality! We came for their great salads. We had the Texas Chop Cobb salad, and I had the Strawberry Pecan Chicken Salad. Both were HUGE - in size and flavor! Portions so large, I definitely had leftovers, and my hubby was quite full after finishing his. Overall: a great visit at Willie's!!!

For some reason I want this place to be better. It seems like a nice food concept but the delivery isn't there. This fried catfish is not real catfish, maybe swai but definitely not catfish. Everything else is just ok.

We've been going here for 30 years since we moved into this area. We've tried many items on the menu: burgers, baked potatoes, fried crawfish tails, shrimp salad, nachos - everything was very good. Our current favorites are Shrimp Campechana, Chicken Tenders and onion rings. Servers are friendly & efficient.

Marissa at the bar is the best!! Very friendly and great attitude!! We're always well taken care of when she's on duty!

Food is great. Ambiance is also great. Our regular server Cary B. is so awesome. She is very considerate, very friendly. And she is one of the reasons we return. Her service is exceptional.

We have been here a couple of times and the food is just . . . . "not good". Went here a while back and ordered boiled crawfish - crawfish were undercooked and could not peel them and way over seasoned. Went here the other night and ordered a Shrimp Po-Boy . . . . Shrimp were not fresh and the hush puppies were not cooked. I could only eat about 1/4 off the Po-Boy - shrimp tasted rotten. . . spoiled. The other folks at the table ordered the hamburger and said it was good. . . only reason I gave this review two stars. It's a shame because I have been to Willies at other locations and the food was Ok - Keep striking out here.

After getting no service at saltgrass we came here to Willie's Grill & Ice House....and they were much more attentive, the place isn't packed or empty it's just right! Like their margaritas btw I love margaritas these are just right, no light not to heavy but so good... tonight they had a limited menu maybe because of the recent storm I'm Not sure but I got the Willie's burger with the onion rings and some ranch on the side btw they have the best onion rings I have ever had anywhere they are big and thick and juicy.... Now small or dry..... the music/ playlist is good nothing to crazy just some good tunes.... Not to loud either lol..... the other item we ordered was the double stack burger and fries... the Fries are really good and salted properly... both burgers were pretty good nothing spectacular but not plain or bad at all.... The portions are really good especially for what you are paying for.... Again the staff was great even asked us multiple times if we needed anything.

My grandson loves Willies so to Willies we go. Lol. The crawfish were amazing and my grandson wiped out a pound. The chicken sandwich was a thin, dried out, tough bird. The bun was nothing special. The onion rings were delicious but my salad had wilted brown lettuce making it quite unappealing. I have been to 4 different Willies and never had a " wow this is delicious " moment. Willie's serves below average food. The quality of their food has continued to decline no matter what location you visit. The service was excellent but this is never my choice. I only eat here when I'm with a group or when my grandson wants to. There are much better options for the same grub for the same prices. Boring food.

This chain restaurant is UNDER RATED! I have been here and several other locations at least once a week - it's our date night hot spot and I just love that is consistent! Great food, amazing waitstaff and quick! The food menu is my favorite because if you're looking to eat slim and trim, they've got the grilled platters ... or a salad. And of course, if you're leaning the diet in the car outside- they've got the fried food options - shrimp, catfish, fried mushrooms, fried onion rings... oh and they've got great hamburgers as well! Now that's just the entrees! You want to make sure you save room for dessert! Their bread pudding is uh-mazing!!!! I know bread pudding may not sound worth a try, I thought the same thing... but trust me! They have that topped with bourbon sauce and I promise you'll be ordering a seconds to take home! bar- saving the best for last! The location has spruced up the place and added a full bar with wrap around seating and It's really made a great add on. You can go with family or now have a seat at the bar and catch a game. Order the jack and coke frozen if you want a nostalgic icee feeling. And that frozen hurticane or lawn chair lemonade are good choices too! This location is winning! Definitely support this local spot. But if you're around the Houston area, I think you can't go wrong choosing any location as well. Willie's holds a special place. It's always simple and straight to the point. The food is always consistent, and the staff is inviting while taking your order. It's been a long time since we've been to this location, but they have a full sized bar when you enter and the regular seating as well. I ordered my usual shrimp poboy with fries, and my husband got the ribeye tacos with corn and chips and salsa. It seems like the menu has changed a few times... the poboy has an aioli drizzled, which I could do without, and the tacos are now smash tacos? A bit different than the regular tacos they had, but overall, okay. The food was hot and fresh, and it was more than enough. I do have to say the salsa that comes with the chips is amazing! It has some heat but not enough to have your mouth on fire. I would order that as a full-size appetizer for sure!

Willie's has become one of our staple places to order from. We call and place our order and then drive there to do curbside pick up. The gentlemen named Jefferson usually answers the phone. He is polite. Our last order was a loaded baked potato with BBQ and a large order of crawfish. My hubby and I split both. They were both very good and cooked perfect. The brisket was tender and delicious. It is one of my new favorites. The crawfish had the right amount of batter and was so good. We still wish the coleslaw was bigger. The menu is not large but the items I have tried are always very tasty. I'm already thinking about what I am going to order this week for dinner from Willie's. Chicken breast, salad, loaded potato, crawfish...hmmm. All sound so good.

absolutely great service and delicious chicken gumbo. Madison was the amazing, ensuring we had all our food on time, drinks stayed filled and she always had a smile on her face.

I'm giving three stars because I live right by this place and I love seafood. The not-given other two stars are because I can sum up the food I've had delivered as "sloppy." With the latest delivered order, the fried shrimp was dark brown and tough - clearly overcooked. At the restaurants I worked at in my younger days, they'd have been thrown away, not served. The slaw that should have come with it was not included. Neither were any cocktail or tartar sauce. The other times we've had food delivered, there's always been a problem too. Once my crab legs were so spicy and generally icky I couldn't eat them. They seemed old and were boiled in heavy spices, when I had ordered them plain. However, they did throw in a metal crab leg cracker, which I'm pretty sure wasn't supposed to be there. The freebies would be good, except the time before that, my freebie was metal staples in my food. I called about that one but things don't seem to have improved. I guess I'll go back to only eating there in person because they just don't seem to pay attention, with the delivery orders. A small mistake now and then would be understandable but this is too much.

The SERVICE was AMAZING I had what seemed to be a pretty complicated order that the online system couldn't accommodate; removing certain ingredients from a dish. I called the store and received consideration and creativity to accomplish what I needed. The guys were super nice and patient (waiter and manager). They did curbside pickup, and I was glad to meet the kind gentleman who helped me so patiently (I hate that I don't recall his name).

We've been to several Willie's locations, and enjoy coming to Cypress when we're in the area. The burgers are delicious, but we decided to get salads last night. They were fresh and made to order. The service was great, and as an added bonus, we saw some old friends/neighbors, as well as our good friend Liz, who used to work at the Sugarland location. Such a great experience. We'll definitely be back for more great food!

our server was Liz, and she was outstanding. Friendly, great service. I was going to use my 25% off coupon and noticed it had expired, she picked the card up and asked if we would like to use it. OMG we could not believe you would honor the coupon. please let Liz know how we appreciated her friendly attitude and going out her way to help us. we love the food and atmosphere.

Good food and dining experience, but the parking lot is a place waiting for trouble to happen. Went to get dinner and drinks last night and arrived a bit after 7pm, left the restaurant close to 9pm and discovered that my car and others were broken into. The parking lot was dark, only light provided was the lights from the restaurant. All light posts surrounding the building were off, but the surrounding businesses had their parking lot lights on. No cameras or security in the area as well. The restaurant itself had good food, but just a warning to not come here in the evening if you have a nicer vehicle and definitely do not leave any belongings in your vehicle. The restaurant is located directly off the road, which gives car break-ins a fast escape. I highly recommend the restaurant have their lights fixed for the customer's safety, and invest in cameras. I parked directly in front of the restaurant, but somehow nothing was seen of the incident. Multiple cars had their windows broken as well. Be safe and cautious!

LOVE this location! Not our waitress but witnessed another table unfortunately treated a waitress, Emily R, horribly. She was a total professional and did everything possible to create a nice experience for this family. Willie's is fortunate to have her as part of their family. She is a class act!!!

I am faithfully coming here Fridays after work to get my Daddy Willie Drink and the rude ass GM said we don't sell those they're only for dine in. Sir, how can they be for dine in? If I always come here on Fridays they make their own rules at this Willy. I guess they just lost a faithful customer never will I step foot at this Willy again.
