Willie's Grill & Icehouse

Had lunch at Willie's today and got impeccable service from Tyler. He's always on point add this incredible eating joint! I had the blackened catfish with blackened shrimp and fries was delicious. We always get the fried mushrooms up front and they are always hot and good. Fried or blackened everything on the menu is spectacular every time!

Been coming to this Willie’s since my highschool days (2010) and it is still good as it was back then! Literally any option you get here will be a great choice. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The vibes here are definitely great, makes you feel right at home sharing a meal with other Texans!

Best part of the Willies experience is the bartender Regan. She knows your name, knows your drink, recommends different options when undecided, all around perfect server with a lovely demeanor and an intoxicating smile. At the end of a long arduous day, Love that she is here as a cool refreshment which brings a smile to my face and uplifts my attitude. Please give this lady a raise!!!!

I haven't been to this location but I'm glad I did! I order the Burger Smash tacos with queso and chips for my side. You have the option to get two sides with additional charge for the premium ones! I really like the tacos. It needed a little bit more seasoning. The thousand island dressing was ok. I dipped the tacos in the queso and it improved the flavors. Trey is awesome! Would love to have him again as our server.

Went to this location a couple of nights ago. Our server, Kaitlyn was extremely kind and helpful. The food was quick and delicious as always! Plus, the beers are ice cold! This is a great place to bring the family or just go with some friends and watch a game. It's family friendly and not smoky and loud, like a bar. Absolutely love the fried crawfish tails! Keep up the great service!

1st Time out of MY Home Since Sunday . Today is Friday 12.6.24. Out for a drive and some Yummy Treats. Hmm Yes Willie's Is Fast and Easy. Appetizer.. Small Fried Jalapeños Turned out ToBe a Full Meal. Well Not A Full Meal. Pi IS Just Full after Eating ALL The Fried PePpers. So GooD! 🤣🤣🤣 I also have a snack to take home. Fries and Tenders. A friend of mine and I went on a Saturday night near closing time, and you would think the quality of food and service decline as it gets closer to closing, but that’s not the case with this location. We had a waiter who was “Johnny on the spot” and kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and taken care of. The food was also great. If you get the sampler platter, it’s definitely huge, so be sure to share it. All in all, great experience. I’ll definitely be going back.

Never disappoints, if they do, they make it right! Steve-O/ curbside makes sure everything is good before you get it home.. Frozen strawberry margarita, rimmed in sugar on the patio, mid Summer helps out... Chicken fried, burgers, barilla tacos, fish tacos.. Mushrooms and ranch for dipping. I wish they had zucchini.... Perhaps I'll ask! Enjoy

The delivery went well, and it arrived on time. One of my bags was semi open and the container wasn't all the way closed as well.. but maybe it fell or something.. who knows! I also enjoyed my food! The portion size was perfect. The only thing I wasn't a fan of putting my sauces on top of my chicken! Because we all know that once ranch is heated up after being in the fridge ‍ it's not good anymore.. and I wasn't trying to have an upset stomach soo I opted out from using it.

Used to order their chicken tender kid's meal a lot as a kid. I ordered that again this week and while it wasn't as amazing as nostalgia painted it to be, it's definitely not bad for $7. You get 3 decent sized chicken tenders (although thin flavorless breading without any crunch) and fries (great but a little over-salted). Unfortunately, they only have ranch, ketchup, and honey mustard for sauces and I kept wanting a Cane's like sauce. Tried their fried pickles which were great! My friends enjoyed their tacos. Locals (usually older folk) seem to patronize this place. You order at the front and give the order to your server. It took awhile for our food to be prepared. It's a place to relax, drink beer, and watch sports TV.

Whoever Jenifer c.Is... DOES NOT need to be taking to go orders on the phone. On top of being pregnant, My husband and I are Muslim so we do not eat pork. I ordered a chicken loaded potato and specifically asked for NO bacon and for the chicken to be on the side. My ticket on the back says OTS cheddar and XTRA bacon. When did I say anything about the cheese ?? My husband had to go get it fixed just for there to still be bits of bacon and a piece of lettuce?? on my potato. She answered the phone with the dryest attitude as if she didn't wanna be there. I was a waitress for 6 years and one thing I know is it's only as complicated as you allow it to be and if you cant adequately take care of customers throughout your shift... don't work in hospitality just to make a quick buck.

It's hard to find a place like this where the food is very good, portions are big, and overall not real expensive. It is a casual place with lots of TVs. Been here for decades. Food is consistently good. Lately the service is exceptionally fast like we get our food in 5 minutes. They may even be faster than Jimmy Johns lol. We generally get the bacon Willie burger, sometimes the fried catfish but order it blackened, the kids always get the tenders. Chicken Caesar's salad, pulled pork tacos or anything with pulled pork, the onion rings, the tortilla soup, loaded fries or the baked potato are other things we order. We eat there every 2 to 4 weeks.

We were greeted with a great smile from Chuck like last time. He's always a pleasure to see. He took our order. We got our drinks, and we sat down. William was our server, and he was amazing. Unfortunately, my burger tasted like c*** It's obvious that these burgers were pre. made, I asked for a burger medium. It came out well done. The bacon is also old. They must have pulled it out of the walking in from yesterday. The meat had no flavor it was disgusting, and it doesn't take 3 minutes to cook a burger. Our order came out way too fast. My fries were soggy, too.

Good service , friendly staff, appetizers came out fast hot and fresh. Nice vibe the Texans where playing the ravens

Got in, ordered then sat down. Hardly any customers in there, had to flag down server for service because they were all up front playing grab ass with each other, too busy of course. Burger was good, beer was cold, table was sticky (asked a wipe). Second time here, not impressed. Lots of other options.

Tonight my hubby and I went out for a casual, neighborhood, FABULOUS meal! Our server Jaelyn took GREAT care of us from start to finish and we had a wonderful time! Fried catfish and shrimp combo is the BEST!!!

My family and I love this location, we live closer to the one off highway 6 but we just get the best service here. The onion rings are amazing. our favorite server is liz, we always leave happier than we came in.

Came here on a week night for dinner. Parking is very available in the parking center. It's a order at the table establishment and similar to Mia's in terms of food options. Pricing is not bad but honestly the quality of the food is very subpar. Don't think anything is made fresh or in house and pretty sure everything fried was frozen. The pulled pork sandwich was not great. The meat tasted very pre-made and the slaw was also below average. Wouldn't really recommend as I think most should eat dinner out at a higher quality joint for dine in.

I accidentally called this location to place a to go order. The gentlemen who answer the phone (had a really deep voice -no name provided) was so polite and professional. I wish I knew his name so I could give a proper compliment. I ordered my whole meal and then he said you know we are at HWY 290 & Jones? OOPS. I called the wrong one. He laughed and said it happens all the time. I was suppose to call the Cypress location. If I am ever in the area I will stop here and eat all because this gentlemen was so professional.

This place has the most taste in there food. That I think I just found my favorite place to eat. Service was amazing Isabella was a great server and so nice. I will be coming back.

Went to the one in Jersey village. As I walked in the establishment, there was an odor. It wasn't a heavy odor but it was an odor of some kind. I couldn't recall what it was at first, then as I was walking back to my car, I recognized it it was either rotten food in the kitchen or garbage piled up in the kitchen. Not going back!

Great burgers! Great portions! My orders have always been to go, and they are always hot & ready quick. Next time I order from here I will post my pic

We love this Willies!!! We've been coming here since 2007! Tonight we were helped by a fabulous young man, DALE!! Dale provided excellent service, made sure our food was hot and fresh, and kept my cold adult beverages coming!! Highly recommend asking for Dale's section! Give this superstar a raise, STAT!!

As I entered the cashier was not making any eye contact with us . And not even a smile. Our first time there and I had to ask where I could get a cup she just pointed to three cups of ice . They were dirty and had lipstick stains on them. So we sat down and waited about five minutes when a young Man said if we were taken care of I said yes and he later asked to see my receipt and he took it. And our order was brought later . The food was cold. Oh and it was funny because on the silver ware it said squeaky clean and sanitize for you, but guess what , the utensils were dirty. I will not go there again. I spent a lot for nothing. Thank you. I did like the music . Only

On the way home I decided to order some crawfish cause I wasn't that hungry for a meal. I ordered three lbs to go with shrimp mushrooms sausage etc. they came in a well insulated bag I thought was super cute. Now the first thing I go for is always the soft red potato but I didn't like them. Almost like a vinegar taste. I was afraid to eat the crawfish after that so I found the sausage and loved the flavor! Lets just say everything else was great. Even the mushrooms. I especially loved the corn and shrimp. Definitely enjoyed the experience and I would also recommend the salad. They will add whatever you like to it!

Fun atmosphere. They added more tvs to watch sports. Great to meet up with friends here after games.

Have always enjoyed this restaurant it's in our group of regular places. The catfish I had yesterday was just edible however I was disappointed (for the first time in years) I'll try it one more time before looking ing elsewhere for fried catfish .

I called in a to-go order for a grilled chicken caesar salad at 10:18 & it took 30 min to be made..... the restaurant was completely empty by the time i arrived for pickup at 10:25 so????

My family is a regular at the specific location and we come at least 2 times a week to support a local business. But last night we did take out I'm extremely disappointed in the amount of food I got for $24 dinner. When you get the seafood platter fried dining in there's so much food bur grilled and as takeout hardly ANYTHING at all.

I last ate here several years ago and haven't returned since. It wasn't for anything negative, I just forgot about it even though I drive by it frequently. A couple of weeks ago I received a coupon in the mail from them and some friends of mine received it too so back I went a couple of weeks ago for dinner. There is plenty of parking available as thIs free standing restaurant is located in a shopping center. It has outdoor seating along Jones Road and is decorated in typical Texas ice house decor. One negative that I noticed during my two visits is that sometimes traffic noise along Jones Road can be heard even while inside. The outdoor seating is very close to the road. Walking in, you order at the counter and then take your order slip, get your drink and find a table or both. Then a waiter shows up and reviews your order and then goes and processes it. For my first visit, I ordered the grilled blackened catfish that comes with rice and veggies for $12.49. The food took about 30 minutes to come out but my waiter did come to tell me that a large party had arrived shortly before me and had overloaded the kitchen. Normally it would be about a 10-15 minute wait. I enjoyed the meal. The nice sized catfish fillet was properly seasoned and fresh tasting with lemon and butter sauce on the side. The rice and veggies were very good too. With good table service and a reasonable price, I gave this meal a 4. A couple of days ago, I returned solo for dinner to order the smothered hamburger steak (cooked medium) and chose two sides of a loaded baked potato and veggies for $9.95. This meal came out in less than 15 minutes. The meat resembled a large hamburger patty (8 oz) and was covered with mushrooms and grilled onions with brown gravy on the side. While not huge it was tasty and I enjoyed it along some of the gravy. The baked potato was loaded with plenty of butter, sour cream, cheese, chives and some bacon. It was very good too along with the vegetables. This meal filled me up and at that price point warranted a 4 too. Again, I had good table service. I will return as I enjoyed both meals. I like the atmosphere of this casual restaurant and see it to be a good place to come relax and enjoy comfort food in a family setting.

What's better than crispy nuggets, fries & sharing a willie wonka? NOTHING! Our server hope was amazing & i recommend everyone ask for her to be your server the next time you stop by! Loved everything about this place!

It's so sad to see this restaurant being so disrespectful, closing an hour before and not opening the outdoor area just because they didn't want too. Most of the time they forget about you and don't refill your drinks. Definitely not welcoming for your little ones, inattentive staff in the evening.

Willie's Grill & lce... For me, there is no better place to eat and enjoy the outdoors with great margaritas than Willies Grill and Icehouse. As many times that I have gone to Willies, it is still my favorite place. I had the best experience the other day with my server Kristin. She was definitely on her game, pleasant, and made my experience another good one! Thanks, CH

I'm going to upgrade my review for Willie's given that we have now eaten here several times a month for the past few years. We love coming here to spend time with friends and enjoy some really good food and drinks. This is my favorite place for onion rings, by far the best around. My wife loves the salmon they serve, also one of the best around. The great thing is they are a scratch kitchen and everything is made fresh. The ribs and pulled pork are also amazing. There's not really anything on the menu that we haven't tried and all of it has been good. The service is awesome with great management as well. There have been a couple of odd occasions where they have someone new working and things don't go so well but given the number of times we have been here, we can definitely attest that these are rare occasions and can be expected anywhere.

Why advertise and then not honor the ads. Mediocre food requires questionable ads. Time to concentrate on truthful ads that you will honor

I was looking for great food at a great value, and Willie's did not disappoint. We ordered the onion rings (large - about $8) as an appetizer and it was a lot of fresh fried onions. After the onion rings, I opted for the garden salad with chicken ($9.50). Fresh greens with romaine and several baby lettuces. A good portion of fried chicken pieces (about 15) and I could not eat it all. My friends ordered the burgers. 1/2 pound of beef and they had bacon. Well made and good quality ground beef. Well worth the $11 price tag and served with fries. Been here many times and we always get good service. Tyler was exceptional on this visit.

Horrible Service at Northwest frwy... They can't ever seem to get your order straight, I've even tried asking a manager to check my order before bringing it out to the car, it doesn't help trust me... I've given them numerous opportunities to keep our business, but paying for food you don't receive is one thing, but the disappointment of getting home, only to find your missing items is a major disappointment. The last straw was calling telling them on my way to get the missing item's the guy said a manager needed to authorize it, i said fine I'll be there in a few min's, I pulled up and called saying I was here, waited 15min telling me there was other people he had to take care of first, 10min later asked for a Mgr he said there really busy and I'd have to wait, 10mins later i walked in asking for a Mgr another 10 mins go by, I walked up to him and asked for my missing items, 10mins later he handed it to me, no bag, no apology and he asked me to leave, Unbelievable... Willie's... Don't even go there, go to a restaurant that actually cares about you, and appreciates your business, you deserve at that much, if not more... Don't be disappointed

My husband and I love this place. Lauren was our server the last time we dined in and she's so sweet and polite.

This Willie's Grill is one of the best! Tables are spread out, capacity is limited, and staff wear masks, too. I ordered Chips & Queso and the only snafu was the queso wasn't hot but a server and the manager quickly rectified that situation and brought me out a hot, fresh queso to go with my salsa and the chips. I always order the Boneless Bites and typically have them tossed in Buffalo sauce but sometimes get them tossed in Teriyaki or Garlic Parmesean. I get two cups of ranch and the extra ranch doesn't cost more. It comes with seasoned french fries and I usually dip the fries in ranch or the leftover queso. Everything is always fresh and hit and the service here is always top notch!

The manager on duty was a great help, I ordered something that they ran out of. He was very accommodating. I didn't know what I was going to do for dinner but he saved the evening. Forgot his name but he gets 5 stars!
