Willow Vegan Bistro

A nice sophisticated restaurant with great service and wonderful people who gave their best recommendations. It’s calm with an intimate atmosphere. I got the Brisket which did not disappoint. The food was tasty and looked very appeasing ! I forgot what drink I got but it came warm or regular. I think it was the apple of my eye and the mojito was sweet and refreshing.

We had a great dinner at Willow last night! For reference, I'm a life-long non-meat-eater and my husband eats meat. He had the calamari and the French dip sandwich. He referred to both as "mind-blowingly close to the real thing." So if you do know the difference, go for those. I tasted the French dip and honestly, it looked so real that it freaked me out. It tasted good , but having never eaten beef in my life, I don't think I'd order it for myself. Too close. That's a selling point for most people, though. I had the French onion soup, which was good, and the fried chicken sandwich, which I really loved! I am always excited when I can find a French onion soup made vegetarian. They used vegan mozzarella instead of Swiss, so it was missing that sharpness, but still tasty. The fried chicken was super crispy and had lots of other yummy things, like pickles and avocado. We shared the banana pudding for dessert, and that was delicious, but we were so full at that point that it was hard to get through it. I had the winter special cocktail, I think it was called Green Leaf, and it was honestly the best cocktail I've ever had in my life. It should absolutely be on the permanent menu. The service was great and the vibe was nice. We will definitely be back.

This vegan restaurant is the best in New York, hands down! Ian, our waiter, gave us the BEST SERVICE EVER. We had a little baby with us, and Ian played with him so much that our baby couldn’t stop smiling at him. He was very kind and welcoming. The food was 10/10, especially the vegan steak and the cheesecake. The wine, the salad, the vegan chicken… honestly, everything was amazing. The ambiance is classy and clean. My wife and I came here for our second wedding anniversary, and we had a blast! We strongly recommend this place if you’re visiting New York!

We ordered fried calamari and the tomato Soup for the appetizers. Both were so delicious! The entrées : honey chipotle chicken skewers and the chorizo burger were amazing!! The chicken tasted just like real chicken.. would highly recommend!! Absolutely love that everything is vegan here

One of our favorite restaurants anywhere... and the best fried calamari anywhere! We feel so at home and welcome when we come here and the staff is just so great! My husband and I are both vegan and getting to come for our fave comfort foods on an elevated level means the world to us. This spot also has some of the best cocktails and mocktails we ever had. The Herbal Haven and the Olive you more and the I love goosey are a few faves. The Caesar salad is my absolute fave and if I order something else, I always take one to go! Husband loves the lamb burger and my fave is the smash burger. The honey chipotle chicken skewers is another fave along with the French dip sandwich. If you've been dying for a good BLT you won't be disappointed and don't forget the truffle Mac n cheese! They even have Brisket! One of our fave desserts is also here - the chefs cookie skillet....we sometimes come here to eat just because were craving this dessert. We recently tried the brunch and it left us speechless - especially the SALMON avocado toast! and the Eggs Florentine! We took a BEC sandwich to go and was SO good the next day. Ok, getting hungry now!

Willow is a great vegan restaurant with delicious food. The calamari oyster mushrooms are a must-try, crispy and flavorful. The fried chicken sandwich was decent, but my friend's brunch special with bacon and eggs was a hit. Whether you're vegan or not, Willow is worth a visit.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant before a concert last week. Every dish I tried was delightful especially being predominantly plant-based. The mac and cheese was comforting, and the calamari rings paired with the dipping sauces were packed with a robust flavor. My drink was the perfect complement with its zesty notes. I'd love to return, though it's worth noting that the space feels a bit tight for larger groups. Overall, a fantastic spot for a quick meal for a date, girl dinner and beyond.

Super comfy spot in Chelsea with a no-stress, all vegan menu. And the food is exceptional! Half the fun is ordering off a menu that looks like it comes from a steakhouse but it's plantbased top to bottom. 😍
