We visited Wilma's today and had a great time. Wilma's is a restaurant, bar, and bowling alley (more details on that later, because it's limited bowling). (We lived in Nashville for a years, and Wilma's is quite a bit like Pinewood Social.)
We didn't eat, so I can't speak to the food, but we did have drinks. But we were there to bowl. So what do you need to know? Wilma's has four lanes. And they're short length and duckpin bowling. (If you're unfamiliar with duckpin bowling, definitely google it, but a quick description: smaller pins, heavier pins, balls you hold in your palm, popular in a few states on the East Coast.) We reserved our lane online in advance, which I recommend, especially given they only have four lanes. When we arrived in the late afternoon a Saturday, we were the only lane in use, but then for a while, all four lanes were in use. We bowled for an hour and a half, but most parties bowled for just an hour.
Their menu is varied: wine, beer, NA cocktails, cocktails. Between my husband and me, we tried a few cocktails and a glass of wine. They serve you at the lane, so you don't have to go to the bar for a drink during your bowling. And the service was great.
Overall, just a cool spot: fun drinks, great vibes, and duckpin bowling? A great way to spend a few hours!
