Temecula Winery Reports Two Positive Cases of COVID-19 | Eater San Diego

"A well-established Temecula winery founded in 2001 has temporarily closed after two staff members tested positive for the novel coronavirus; I report that the family-owned Wilson Creek Winery—which encompasses a tasting room, full-service restaurant, outdoor picnic area and multiple event spaces and is a popular wedding venue—had just reopened its tasting room and restaurant on June 12 before pausing operations. In a Facebook post the winery said it is sharing the diagnoses for transparency, will continue safety protocols (including hiring a professional sanitation crew to disinfect the property and requiring temperature checks and face coverings for all employees), and is remaining open for curbside wine club and bottle pickups from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. It is perhaps best known for its sweet Almond Sparkling Wine." - Candice Woo

Google
We were looking for some great wine for our corporate gifts and Wilson Creek Winery not only provided fantastic options, they made coordinating, ordering, and shipping so very easy. Our clients were thrilled with the delicious sparkling wine we purchased from Wilson Creek, and everything was delivered in a timely manner. I did stop by the winery and the atmosphere and ambiance are fantastic. For a night out or for gifts, I'd highly recommend Wilson Creek and will be visiting again!

Google
I won't speak on rooms because we did the day pass wine tasting. Our sommelier was amazing very nice very professional. The little food we had was reasonably priced . The wine tasting was relatively cheap for three people only 90 bucks

Matthew A.

Google
This is our first time there and a win member named Jesse invited us for some free tastings. Rosario, who was the best server of all time, told us all about the advantages of becoming a member. She was so nice and fun. And Jesse was a great person to have met there. We are now members. Matt from Seattle.

Google
We came for the members dinner tonight and have been members here since the early 2000s. The venue had to change due to the weather conditions, but Wilson Creek Rose vacation and pivoted in high fashion. It was seamless and pulled off without looking like there was any effort. It’s a great tribute to why we joined winery and thank you again for an amazing night celebrating your 25th anniversary

Google
We attended a wedding in the vineyard, followed by the reception at the winery (did not spend the night). OUTSTANDING! A beautiful venue with friendly and helpful staff. An added shout out to the wait staff team during cocktail hour and reception ... the entire team did a phenomenal job from start to finish.

Google
We have frequented at least 3 different times for events and individual tasting. each time, wines were average at best and grounds had commercial vibes. Staff were pushing for purchase and usually inattentive. My family and I prefer visiting other nearby wineries for better taste, price, and service.

Princess S.

Google
The service was good, and the food was also enjoyable. The location is very nice, perfect for walking. Unfortunately, there was no live music on the day we visited. They do offer a variety of wines.

Google
A beautiful winery! The staff were amazing and helpful with wine recommendations. They had beautiful outdoor seating and a lovely atmosphere. We loved their frozen wine and the summer sangria

Yelp
First of all I want to say that this one of my favorite wineries. I was invited by some family friends and I love the people and the customer service and the owner and his family all so very nice people. But I was invited again but this time to ugly sweater day and there were a couple things I didn't like first of all the long line to get a baked potato was so long it was pretty ridiculous. And then so many people, also the last but the worst was that this guy that had the best ugly sweater that was made by his wife for sure was the number one winner everyone was just telling him how nice it was. I don't think it was Fairly done they gave him a bottle the same as all the others when he should have for something else especially if he was the number one winner. I asked him what did he win because I had to take a picture of him and he said a bottle. So not fair. Just had to let that out.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was a great experience. Definitely busy and parked far on a dirt lot. Walking in at the site, it was overwhelming seeing all the outdoor seating areas that accommodated ALL the people there (and there was a lot!) Our friend had to stop and sign in her pup at the outdoor entrance. A lot of families, a few kids, some pups and lots of celebrations were there and happening! Total upbeat vibe. Walking in to purchase wine tasting tickets at the register was easy. It was like walking into a store, lots of merchandise for sale. The wine tasting room was huge! So far the biggest I've seen. After purchasing our tickets we opted to sit indoors. As we were trying to find a place to settle ourselves we were warmly greeted by an employee and she led us to an open bar area. So nice! Wine list was great, lots of choices. All the wines we tasted we enjoyed. Whites, reds, rose', and a lot of various sparkling wines. As busy as it was, the bartender was efficient, helpful and friendly. Overall, great winery. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Love love love! Had such a great time here and enjoyed all the wines at this place. I can't wait to come back to try the restaurant when we have more time to enjoy! It's so spacious and vast but I especially enjoyed the 2nd floor space overlooking the winery! Everyone here is lovely and so sweet. I know i'll have a good time again when I go back!
google avatar

Yelp
This is our second time coming to this winery. We absolutely enjoy coming to this winery because this place is very kid friendly and there's a lot of seating outside. The staff is fun and friendly. Haven't ordered any food from here. Maybe next time. I highly recommend coming early so you can get a nice table with the table top fire pit.
google avatar

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Wilson Creek Winery is absolutely beautiful! Their Cabernet and Pinot Grigio were delicious and Sam, Jake and Alexis made us feel very welcomed! We also had the pepperoni pizza as an appetizer and it was really good. Great job Wilson Creek Winery!
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Very large winery with lots of seating and food options. This is one of the largest wineries in Temecula. Over this holiday weekend it was packed. We did find a nice table in the large courtyard. Our service dog was allowed and enjoyed his time with us. Tastings included 6 wines, which were okay. My favorite was the Petit Syrah. The atmosphere was party like with Christmas decorations and loud music.
google avatar

Mster M.

Yelp
Wilson creek has some beautiful scenery. Great views to sit outside. They have some variety of wines reds, whites. We got a white Cabernet , and an almond sparking wine . It's so good. They are friendly and knowledge of staff.

Yelp
I came here the other day to celebrate my anniversary and this place was amazing. We did a tasting at the winery bar inside their shop and we did a tasting of 6 to split between 2 people. The bar tender was really nice and recommended some places people should try out while traveling their stay in Temecula; which is very useful; especially, if anyone is traveling there for the holidays. As we finished our tasting, we went to their restaurant called the Creekside Grille; located outside of the store. The wine here is very tasty and I do recommend coming here for big parties as they have a huge patio/outdoor seating.

Yelp
My friends and I did a Temecula trip for my birthday and this was our favorite winery of the day!!! We showed up around 1pm with about 15 people. We didn't sign up to do a tasting or anything, and we had no issue finding enough tables and seats on the pavilion. We got 7 bottles for the group and loved all of them - their peach wine was nice and sweet. You're able to walk around the vineyard accessible near the back of the communal space. Lovely photo ops. Bathrooms were clean and water was available. They also sell food and other alcoholic drinks so there's something for everyone. I'd highly recommend!!
google avatar

Vienna Z.

Yelp
We went the other day and did a tasting in the library I believe it was called. It was so gorgeous out there. Scotty helped us out with the wines and he was awesome! Would go back just for the customer service again! We got a charcuterie board and a hummus plate to share. Everything was delicious! The wines were all soooo good! This was my first experience with wine tasting and it was fantastic, I am a

Yelp
Best place to celebrate my birthday!! Had a group of 10 plus three kids and found a spot right away it was near the garden and the restroom which was a plus. If you're ever in Temecula Wine Country, you must check out Wilson Creek Winery, one of the most beloved destinations in the valley! it has beautiful vineyard views, warm family-friendly atmosphere, and award-winning wines (including their famous Almond Sparkling), we got a bottle of that to start with. Wilson Creek is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy time with friends or family. Whether you're sipping a delightful flight in the welcoming tasting room, relaxing on the patio with live music, or exploring the lovely gardens and event spaces, Wilson Creek offers an unforgettable experience for all. There's lots of parking and even a park for the kiddos to play in. The service was excellent minus the guy emptying out the ice on the into the Rocks where we were sitting. It was a bit rude if I do say so myself. Highly recommended Temecula wineries & Wilson Creek overall for their wine tastings, great food, special events, and celebrations, it truly captures the spirit and hospitality of Temecula Wine Country!
google avatar

Candice K.

Yelp
I visited Wilson Creek and enjoyed their tour + tasting. Their tour takes you around their grounds while sipping on their wine (for a total of 6 tastings). Our tour guide was Mike and he was very fun and personable. After the tour, we were given a tasting card for 6 additional tastings (good thing we took an uber!). It was a Saturday afternoon so it was very busy but we had a great time. They even had an engraver who was selling glassware that included engraving or complimentary engraving with bottle purchase!
google avatar

Shambrika S.

Yelp
First off let me say Temecula has a view worth seeing! Took a day trip to Temecula for some wine. There are so many wineries up and down the hillsides. Just breathtaking. Wilson Creek was a VIBE!!! I enjoyed a tasting ($30) with 6 wines and instead of just sitting with all of your glasses in front of you, they give you a card with each tasting selection and as you see fit you go get them one by one. In between glasses I took a stroll through the vineyard and also was able to taste grapes right off of the vine. They have plenty of outdoor shaded seating and you are also able to sit at the restaurant onsite. It was a beautiful experience!
google avatar

Alisha B.

Yelp
What a beautiful property. This winery is huge with soo much to offer. There's a grill and a lot of snacks. We got a premade snack consisting of cheese, grapes , crackers , sweet peppers and salami. It was fresh and delicious. We also got a cheese pizza . Pizza was ok but who goes for the pizza? It's the wine that matters. The wide variety of wine was impressive. They have white , red and sweet wines to choose from. The staff was amazing and so was the wine. I definitely recommend coming here.
google avatar

Shelby L.

Yelp
Wow. I can't say enough about how great this place is! Not only was the wine above excellent, the service was incredible. We walked in not knowing we needed reservations for the library. Thanks to Sarah, we were able to slip in. Then our server Scotty made this experience the best one ever. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and just overall awesome. The wines are amazing here and the Almond sparkling wine is a must try! We also loved the white cab and family reserve heritage, but left with 4 bottles of wine (one of each aforementioned and one peach Bellini). This is by far, our best experience this weekend. The best winery and the best service. We sat at the outdoor seating overlooking vineyards at the library and the setting was peaceful with perfect temps and a wonderful breeze. This is a must visit place and if I were local I'd be frequenting it often!! Thank you Sarah and Scotty for such a great experience!!!!!

Yelp
Have always loved the Almond Champagne. Went here for lunch randomly while in Temecula and had a great lunch. The service is great and the store is really fun. Great experience and fun and relaxed vibe. Will do the full tour on next visit!
google avatar

Sophia N.

Yelp
Wine was good and fairly priced. Customer service was great. Charcuterie board was ok wish it had more meat a cheese options and less other items.
google avatar

SeAirra D.

Yelp
I went to Wilson's for the first time this weekend and had a great experience. I didn't have any of the food here but I did a wine tasting. I was amazed at how many options there were to choose from for the tasting and really liked the sparkling wine flavors. The sangria and the pina colada sparkling wine were really good! The merchandise was also cute and fun to look at. I really liked how big this venue was - lots of space! All the staff was very friendly as well and even offered us double pours since we got there soon before closing. I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
Overall, our first experience were awesome! Pretty busy on a Saturday, many different winery tasting in one of the building with gift shops. Free parking on the dirt lots. You can also walk-around the winery fields. Many indoor and outdoor sitting areas for you to chill with your FAM and friends. Foods need little improvement buy beside that we had an awesome time there to celebrate someone's birthday. The waiter comp the birthday girl a drink and a free cake! Plus some discount toward the entire bill. What more can you ask for? We will come back to celebrate any events or birthdays.

Yelp
This review is for their wine tours. They offer tours every Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM and 1 PM. Reservations are required! I'm not sure how popular the tours are but I was able to book a few days in advance and they were about 13-14 people total on my tour. I booked the 11 AM tour so it was pretty easy to find parking in the morning (free lot). But by the time we left in the afternoon parking was completely full and people had to wait for a spot. Keep that in mind. The tour was $40 and included 5 tastings. Motor City Mike was the BEST tour guide ever! Super informative, kind, personable, interactive, and fun. Keep him happy, Wilson Creek because he's a gem! He even gave us a live singing performance to end the tour which was a nice surprise. For the price, the tour was really cool. We got to learn the history of the Wilson family, history of the region, and history of wine making. The tour lasted about 1.5 hours. We got to go behind of scenes in a few different areas of the winery. I also appreciated how they offer a non drinker ticket for $15. Overall the price seemed like one of the cheaper tours in Temecula and also the only place I saw that offers a non drinker ticket! Would recommend for anyone visiting Temecula or Wilson Creek for the first time.

Yelp
Came to Temecula for my bday. I Love the vibe here, the selection for bubbly was on point. The place is very spacious and with the amount of people there it still didn't feel crowded. There is enough people working and we didn't wait long to get our tasting. Adding this to my favorite's!
google avatar

Norman R.

Yelp
It's been years since I've been to Wilson Creek Winery and I was totally overwhelmed with the amount of people in attendance and the amount of growth the property has achieved. If a night club and a winery had a baby it would be Wilson Creek. There are several bars and tasting venues on the immense property! Aside from that the place was as well I recall. A complete circus of people everywhere laughing, moving to the music , and drinking exotic flavored sparkling wine as they showcased various styles of fashion. I was speechless! Everyone should go once!
google avatar

Kimberly J.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a birthday.. Scotty, Sarah and Don were awesome... Robert not so much (could have communicated nicer) but had a great time overall. Services is always amazing, food delicious. Thank Wilson for making our day memorable.

Yelp
We visited Wilson Creek Winery on 10/11/2025 and had a wonderful time with our party of three. The intention was to visit Wilson Creek first, and then move on to one other location; however, this place was all we needed. We first bought three tasting cards, and we used them at the "back bar" indoors. The gentleman staffing the back bar was wonderful. He provided us insight when we wanted and gave us exactly what we needed. He was generous in his pours, which made the tasting price very much worth the cost. Not only that; however, the tastings here include six tastings rather than the traditional four or five. After we did the tasting, we moved outside to a table under a canopy and enjoyed a little snack and another bottle. It was such a beautiful day. We wish we could have stayed longer; however, the close the outdoor area at 5:30 (I was hoping they would at least let us stay until the 6pm closing time) Parking is plentiful and the deals are wonderful! I would definitely come to Wilson Creek again in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this winery it is huge and has everything you need for friends and family. Lots of places to sit, playing area for kids, big restaurant, and cool tasting room. There also have a cool gift shop where you can buy drinks, snacks, candy, clothes and lots of souvenirs. They have free live music on most weekends and a big dance floor. Highly recommend this winery if you only have time to stop at one. Service has been good at the restaurant, out door bar, and the gift shop.
google avatar

Heather D.

Yelp
I came here last weekend with a friend. It was so packed but luckily a ton of seating outside. I tried the wine slushee which had a red wine floater on top. I thought it was perfect for what a hot day it was, plus it wasn't overly sweet. The outdoor seating had a decent amount of shade and several strings of mists to help cool you down which was nice. I'd be interested in coming back here to try some tastings.
google avatar

Faye A.

Yelp
Wilson Creek Winery is a local Temecula fave winery and seems to be the most popular one in town. This is where we have our annual dinner to finish off the summit week. This year, the food was ok. Other years have been better and there were more choices. I tried the Rosè wine. It was light and refreshing, fruity and floral. Service has always been stellar, and the venues are consistently elegant, regardless which room they host our events in. Parking is plenty. Beautiful winery with picturesque surroundings on the property that you'll want to capture. Highly recommend Wilson Creek if you're looking for a really nice winery in Temecula!!
google avatar

Nolita N.

Yelp
I looked through some of the reviews and it seems like they were lower ratings due to the food served at the winery. Because I did not eat here, I can only comment on the wine and winery itself. If you want a tasting flight, you have to purchase the card from the check-out desk as you can't get them from the bar area where you are being served. I really like their almond wine! We also got another fruity one (I can't remember which), but it was really good, it kind of reminded me of fruity pebbles. Even though we went on a random weekday, it was really packed, but the guy helping us was prompt, patient, and took the time to converse with us a little. The property itself is really nice. There is a large outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy your wine and the sunshine! I've been here twice, and would definitely go back!
google avatar

Yelp
It was a first timer for me here. I don't really spend a lot of time down in Temecula wine country as we're members at a lot of the other's wineries up north. Impromptu trip for wine tasting and meeting with friends for Easter. Been to a few other wineries but a first here. There's a lot of parking along the field area as well as valet i believe. Property is well maintained and massive. It was busy as there was a bunch held earlier. We showed up later in the day. Also they open pretty late. Property does have a pretty big tasting room as well as a restaurant. A pretty big venue for wedding and socials. We opted for a couple of bottles versus a tasting. The wine, wasn't bad. Both the red, white and sparkling were full of flavors. The selection offered was quite nice. Not only wine, they had slushies and beer if I'm correct. Property is quite big as they catered to a lot of weddings. You're allowed to walk and check the area out. Walking through the vineyards for pictures. Vines were beginning to sprouts as it's still early in the season. Also, signs for rattlesnakes were out and about so be careful. Only downfall around this time, there's a massive tree on the property that was dropping all these little cotton type buds that was getting into people wine. Like snowfall which completely covered the creek. Property was beautiful, a big tasting room with loads of souvenirs and gifts. Big outdoor area for tasting and wandering around.
google avatar

Brooke L.

Yelp
Couldn't figure out why the wines are good but at the end there's always just feet flavor. I hate to say it but it just tasted very different so it needed to be switched around quite a bit and then the full flavor came out.
google avatar

Shawn M.

Yelp
The place is beautiful , the wine is delicious , and the atmosphere was wonderful. Bartenders were awesome with great personalities (Lea is awesome!). The only thing stopping me from putting 5 stars was their outdoor food options. The food was atrocious. For such an amazing place to serve such terrible food was just mind boggling. We had the chicken wrap (no flavor whatsoever) and the tri tip (dry, chewy, and the worst bbq sauce I've ever consumed). The only thing good were the chips. Other than that, the place is awesome. Just make sure you eat before going or perhaps try the restaurant instead. I'll be back, but not for the food.
google avatar

Hannah F.

Yelp
Wilson Creek Winery is great! Lots of space outdoors to enjoy a glass (or two!). I tried their Almond Prosecco and it lives up to the hype! You must try it if Prosecco is your thing. Lots of staff on site and they took our pictures and provided great service.
google avatar

Alfredo C.

Yelp
Took a trip to Temecula and we had to try this place. The winery is very big, with a restaurant, plenty of seating, and cool art work. The winery is delicious, we got a bottle of the sparkling Brut, it was bright and refreshing. The restaurant was packed, will have to try it out on our next visit.
google avatar

Erik F.

Yelp
Great ambiance and superb wine. Highly recommend it. They have the best white Cabernet Sauvignon
google avatar

Jas S.

Yelp
The best winery. Stopped by creekside grill which was amazing ! Stellar service per usual.
google avatar

Char B.

Yelp
I don't really go to wineries so this was our first time. Lots of people!! We had to park kinda far but there is this shuttle dude who goes around and will take u to the front. Wine is good and the aesthetic of the place is nice. Lots of seating and nice live music. Also can walk around the vineyards too
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
The parking is pretty open and dirt, so beware when it starts raining! Security was around the front, staff was cool. Seating is 1st come 1st serve, open seating. Our group initially wanted to do wine tasting, but we ended up getting bottles at our table instead. So definitely something I am coming back for to try. The 1st half of our group was there 1st and had gotten Peach Bellini and mixing it with the Almond wine. Those by itself, are sweet already, so mixing the 2 gave me cavities! Lol. I'm probably just exaggerating because I prefer drys. Sodas are soda in cans with a cup of ice. They ran out of ice cream so no sundaes for us. The Charcuterie Box was really a personal box. Or maybe I was greedy and hungry. Lol. I think the serving size for it would typically be 2people.. I also ordered a sandwich platter and pepperoni pizza for my kiddos. The food was kinda just basic. Definitely made for grab&go snacking. Like those quick stadium bites.
google avatar

Bea P.

Yelp
Wilson creek is a great place for sparkling wines. They have a variety of sparkling wines as well as regular wines. For sparkling wines, we got the bottle of Almond, Watermelon, and Lemoncello. We also got the 2021 red wine. I definitely enjoyed all but the Almond and Lemoncello stood out. I love the huge bottle and champagne glass art display right as you enter the winery. The tasting room was huge and the property allowed for numerous seating areas. There's an area in the back for a mini exploration up the vineyards and a restaurant if you want to order food. Another great option to gather with friends and family.
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
Great venue and service. Six (6) tastings for $30.00. I liked most offerings. The Sauvignon Blanc had a problem: bouquet of Wet Dog, and tasteless. Great service happily replaced it, but it left me with the impression that white wines were best left to Napa and Sonoma. A "white" Cabernet was also a strange offer, but the claim was it was the most popular offering.
google avatar

Branson U.

Yelp
You definitely have to put Wilson Creek on your wine list if you are making a Temecula wine tasting run! There is something for everyone here at Wilson Creek. There is tons of space for large groups and the tasting room is massive so waiting for a taste is not a problem. Everyone working here at Wilson Creek is awesome! They take care of their customers! If you are somebody who is an "experienced wine drinker" haha, they have some good library wines to warm you up. If you have people in your party who are novices they have a great selection of sparkling and crisps whites to ease them into it. And finally if you are somebody who wants to step into the red wine atmosphere I believe they have one of the best bottles to do so, Wilson Creeks Cab/Zin is a great red wine for people who are just getting into red wine as it is very fruit forward and extremely easy drinking.

Yelp
11/25/24! Lovely little outing over in Temecula. Wilson Creek is an absolutely beautiful winery.! While my parents and my brother-in-law were gambling over in Pechanga, we went and had ourselves a wonderful time at the winery . My sister brought over a charcuterie board and we enjoyed that as we sat under a canopy of the grape vines.. we went into the market side and looked at the types of wines they were offering, and we decided we will look for more maybe at a another winery with better selection. The courtyard is wonderful and is very airy with plenty of outdoor seating and there's plenty of parking spaces as well . Would love to return and come back to this lovely winery .

Yelp
After the wedding rehearsal and having driven up from San Diego with no breakfast. Our daughter-in-law recommended Wilson Creek Winery for the family/wedding party luncheon. A place her and our son had frequented before and had also considered as their wedding site. With parking reminiscent to an amusement park, very spacious and extremely popular. Outdoor tables enough to accommodate numerous large or small groups. Food is ordered at the counter of the Courtyard Bar & Grill. You're then given about a 15 minute wait before returning to pickup your food and drinks. My wife and I went with the brisket nachos and a cheese pizza. As well my root beer. While our younger son ordered a pepperoni pizza and shared some of our nachos, which he and my wife were not too pleased with. I thought they tasted just fine. Our sons, as well as the rest of our party of about 11, passing their various bottles of spirits around for samplings. As well as whatever foods they had ordered. And as multiple groups continued to arrive as we were leaving, there were still plenty of tables to spare.

Yelp
Monday, October 21,2024: Sadly, the Temecula Valley Wine Society (TVWS) came to an official close on November 1, 2024. But not before we were able to present a check for $17k for the Viticulture Scholarship Program at Mt San Jacinto College (MSJC). We met in the library located on the second floor above the gift shop. The check was presented to Greg Pennyroyal, the vineyard manager & Professor of Viticulture at MSJC. The venerable matriarch, Rose Wilson, was in attendance for this momentous occasion. The TVWS board was in attendance and other important people shared in this event. It was a fitting end to an organization whose membership & interest waned tremendously after COVID. It was no longer fiscally sustainable. It was so sad for me especially having only been a member for a short time. Wilson Creek Winery has always been so gracious and supportive of TVWS. We held our 2023 Christmas Party here. Again they allowed us to use their wonderful library for the check presentation.

Yelp
Great large scale winery... There's a lot going on most days... I enjoy their chocolate port and cream sherry...(the cream sherry more than the port) they are now also known for their almond champagne... I highly recommend visiting when in Temecula
google avatar

Mac B.

Yelp
Great winery in the heart of Temecula Wine Country with a unique almond sparkling wine that you have you have to try! The wine tasting for six tastings was $30/person and we enjoyed a lot of them with our server Bryan being super friendly and helpful with good recommendations. A beautiful place to sit and enjoy a nice glass of wine even when it is hot with all the shade and misters keeping you cool.
google avatar

Karman V.

Yelp
First off, disclaimer: We don't know much about wine (except what we like and okay, I pasted up a wine newsletter as a graphic artist in the early '90s so I know what I read in there). We did not enjoy our tasting yet felt compelled to bring home the least offensive tasting one, but it still sits in the fridge untouched. Lunch was excellent! The grill was delicious with a special burnt ends BBQ brisket and tasty sides. The other dishes were a nice flatiron steak and potatoes with a crunchy fresh Cesar salad, I think. A frosty blended wine was super refreshing in the July heat but under the cool patio with ceiling fans there were no worries in the world. It really is like an amusement park for a winery! Gift shop was huge! Lots of things to do and see and photograph outside (and taste) all over! If I was a bride & groom or a pair of brides or a pair of grooms I might do a wedding here. The hotel is pricey but seems nice from the photos and what I could see from where we walked. Service was "stuck up" and "snooty" but adequate. Like. . . if you have a low self esteem, don't take it personally. It really isn't you----lol----it is them. Overall, I'd say it would be a perfect first date place if your person was open to it.

Yelp
The lovely Christmas outdoor venue was just perfect. It was such a good time spending time with family from overseas and showing them the wonderful Temecula wine valley and Wilson Creek provided the "just right" venue for them to experience the California wine experience. Although, we just ordered finger foods, it was still a great pairing to try out their wines. The in house country singer just rounded out the day

Yelp
This was one of the biggest winery's I've ever been to. Came here on a Friday evening. I originally came for a wine tasting and when I called they said they stop tasting at 6pm but they actually stopped at 5:30 so I missed it. They still let me sample a few until I determined what I would like a glass of. I went with the Peach Bellini...a very light and crisp sparkling wine. The place was packed as they had a live band called Full Effect and they were awesome. They did R&B cover songs from 80's to 2000's. Everyone was dancing having a good time. I ended up eating at the restaurant and wasn't that impressed. I had the steak and fries. I asked for the steak medium rare and it came almost well done. It was all a little under seasoned and it took so long I didn't send it back. Overall very entertaining and lively experience. Would definitely do it again,
