Yelp
It is very rare to find a Filipino Lechon in Florida. The closest one is the Lechon Belly that is sometimes served in Filipino celebrations like a birthday.
It is a whole roasted pig, famous for its incredibly crispy, crackling skin and tender, flavorful juicy meat, flavored with aromatics like lemongrass, garlic, and onion stuffed inside. It is slow roasted over charcoal, adding more flavor to this delicious food.
I was craving for Lechon so I asked my friend to take me to a Filipino Restaurant
in Little Manila.
We went to Wilson's Haus of Lechon.
As we go inside the restaurant, we were greeted and welcomed by a smiling couple as they prepare the dishes to be served for the day.
They seated us and gave the menus. We looked at the menu and they have multiple combo (combination) meals to choose from, from breakfast favorites, to lechon combo.
Some of the breakfast combos, served with fried egg and fried rice were, Tapsilog, Tocilog, Spamsilog, Cornedsilog, Longsilog, and Bangsilog.
They also have halohalo for dessert but I was very full, maybe I will try it next time I visit.
Homey and family style ambiance and atmosphere, warm welcome and Filipino Hospitality at its best.
