Google
Great corner store and very friendly owner ("Gippy"). I have not experienced anything negative from the staff as a regular customer for almost 2 years. Would highly recommend for beer, wine, liquor, cigarettes and convenience store food stuffs. Prices, in my view, are quite reasonable for the convenience and service offered.

The man who runs this is *usually* nice. They have a great selection of food and drinks; they seem to carry a little bit of everything. Great for a convenience store down the street. Love to support local business! But a CVS is just a couple blocks away for a second choice.

Bought a $2 ice cream treat and realized after leaving the store it was damaged/open - went back in immediately to exchange it but guy behind the counter wouldn’t have it. Also wasn’t wearing his mask properly... Convenient corner store but seems poorly managed.

This store has all the essentials: whiskey, beer, nuts, pop corn, frozen pizza, ice cream and more…and a bitcoin ATM. The clerk always says “thank you” in a stoic way. I love this place!

Windy City Liquor is one of my favorite parts of living in Ravenswood. The man who runs the store has his own way of going about things and brings a great deal of character to the store. The store has a good selection and tends to have fair prices.

Been going her for a couple years now. It's really the neighborhood spot if you need anything quickly. Owner is cool

Google
Nice little store in a convenient location but I wish the clerk (owner?) would wear a mask. I suppose it is within his rights but come on...

It’s very overpriced, but convenient.

Yelp
I understand that prices are going up all over the place. But compare prices and the quality of items elsewhere, before you shop here. Purchased a pint of ice cream that looked as if it had melted at some point The price of an off brand jar of peanut butter (from an obvious wholesale store) is shamelessly over priced. As are most items at this location. Alcohol is already heavily taxed, it will cost more here.

Yelp
Still a fan of this convenient convenience store. Had to grab a beverage for a party we were stopping by and knew that there would be a good selection of beverages to choose from. Grabbed a six pack of a local craft brew and bottle of chilled white. Caught up with the regular fella behind the counter, always a pleasure.

Yelp
DO NOT BUY LIQUOR/BEER HERE! Every time I've gone to the register the beer is at least $1 more than what is reads on the price label. It is no coincidence. And even if they made a mistake on the price label they should honor their that. BLACKLISTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Don't understand how I've came here twice, and both times it was close-- during the time it said it'd be open. Change the hours please, it's the most irritating thing when Chicago has the worst traffic problem.

Yelp
It's a corner liquor store, what more can I say? Prices are above average and they seem to tack on extra charges. Selection isn't horrible. Come for the convenience, not the creepy store clerks.

Yelp
Excellent service, selection, and prices. They sell great brews from near and far. The prices are reasonable and the service is always great. I've only bought beer and liquor; I cannot speak to the wine selection and price.

Yelp
Well come on now, no one is giving this place five stars for real but I will say that when they changed ownership, things got alot better. no more being lectured for credit cards. the new owners were kind of aghast at the lack of merchandise, unpacked boxes, etc... They stuffed the place full and now it's really more like a "pantry" ... a bodega? They have a solid selection of craft beers, and a massive air conditioner teetering in the doorway which is amazing in the summer and which I fear is going to someday kill me. I know they are secretly laughing at us for paying out of control prices for those craft IPAs. I have a feeling they just order the most expensive ones and pray the brand is on trend. but I'm like, yeah I will pay you $11 for this six pack, thanks! and they have eggs. and ice cream. and HORIZON ORGANIC MILK. YES, MILK! That's what your life is like when you have no grocery stores within walking distance. I go here at least once a week. We call it the "cone stow" and we are grateful for it.

Yelp
I live in this neighborhood, and have bought wine here before. I always thought this place was alright. However, on our most recent visit, I asked if my father, who has Alzheimer's could use the restroom, and he refused. I don't usually frequent liquor stores for their customer service, but I will never go here again.

Yelp
Having only shopped the back refrigerated wall of beer, I can't vouch for the other 75% of this store. However, the beer is definitely cheaper than other area stores ($4 for the watery domestics, $7-8 for the craft stuff) and they have a nice selection including Great Lakes, 3Floyds, Harpoon, etc.

Yelp
Yay! They now carry Half Acre Daisy Cutter!
