Great Shop with a wonderful array of small vineyard, organic, vegan and sustainably sourced wines as well as a curated selection of Hard Liquors you won't find at a normal corner store. Will miss having this great spot with a fantastic owner when I move. Prices are really good as well and it makes you realize how much "Marketing" you are paying for when you buy major brands that don't have much quality like Veuve Clicquot, Patron, Etc.

This little gem has inexpensive to more luxurious wines, most (if not all) have been tasted by the staff in store. Because of that, little descriptions describing the wines flavor and complexity adorn the bottles for sale, giving you some more information about that particular wine. The staff is also really knowledgable and helpful--the woman serving us tried to get any white we were buying from the chilling fridge. It's a lovely little store!

I love this store, it's literally my go to for wine, tequila and vodka. They tend to have a really nice selection on tequila and mezcal although it's limited. I usually purchase the Flying Solo Rose or Dr. Loosen Riesling. Also, the staff is very helpful and kind.

Wine-O is my local wine shop when I'm in Bedstuy visiting my partner. It's also conveniently on the way home from the station, so popping in after work is so easy. Luckily, there is a decent selection of affordable wines to keep your habit going, along with finer wines of a certain price tag if you're trying to impress someone. There is also a small selection of spirits and liquers if you are so inclined. These tend to be more unique or local bottles, which I can appreciate. I've been helped by Lance a couple of times and he's always been super friendly and helpful in suggesting wines for me. In fact, I've been helped by a few different individuals here and have always left pleased with my experience. The shop has a loyalty card and hosts tastings every now and then too. In short, I'm a fan.

The woman at the counter was warm and friendly. Felt natural and easy to buy something. The storefront is on a small side. But I don't know about you, having a million choices isn't always a good thing (especially for indecisive person like me). I was looking for sake and they only had a couple choices. But the ones they had were good quality. I got what I needed. No need to look further. For wine purchases, there are plenty of choices. I recommend!

Let me start by saying I know nothing about wine. However, I've been trying to figure out which wines I like best. After three visits to Wine-O, color me impressed. The staff is helpful, knowledgable and genuinely fun to be around. If this was a wine bar, I would feel comfortable sitting here for hours. The selection is affordable but dynamic, and I always enjoy getting recommendations from their staff. You can really tell that they care about their craft. This is a bright spot in the up and coming Bed Stuy.

This is a great little wine bar! They are very knowledgeable about the wine they carry. I asked for a good cabernet and was very pleased with the bottle I got. Excellent service and great wine!! All you need is some cheese with that wine! real talk tho. I asked for the best cheap cab they had. My girl liked it. She is a pain in the ass sometimes. But she's cool.

BEST local wine shop! There are several of places to buy wine in the area, but this is the only true 'wine shop' and we it! There's an excellent, interesting selection, the ambiance is adorable, and best of all, the staff is super nice and super knowledgeable. If you have fun learning about & trying different wine with your friends, Wine-o is the place to go cause it makes the choosing & buying PART of the experience.

I'm really more of a self-admitted, Beer-O, or even a Liquor-O, than a Wine-O, but this place is A-Ok by me. It is quite cute on the inside, with its cool Edison bulb "chandelier". The store is also owner operated, and she is very sweet, and informed. Personally, wine is my favorite way to ingest grapes, and Wine-O has an abundance of options. Not only do they have the usual suspects, but they also offer organic and biodynamic choices. It seemed as though the majority of prices were around the $20 range. In an area that is more prone to liquor stores, where you speak through a hole in bulletproof glass, it's refreshing to come across an alcohol store that feels like it could be in rural America, not in Bedstuy, Brooklyn.

Does the name not say enough for you? My fiancé is a big wine connoisseur and swears by this place up and down. Wonderful selection of wine and friendly staff members that are willing to accommodate any request as soon as it's asked. Would definitely bring a date here. Very impressive and romantic.

I love Wine-O! I love everything recommended to me. The staff is friendly, and the owner is stylish and knowledgeable. I don't live right in the neighborhood, but it's always worth the trip! Always a fun and satisfying visit. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this wine shop and love that it is so close to me in Bed-Stuy! I try to buy all of my wines here. Everyone who works here is awesome, and if you buy in bulk, the owner gives discounts. I believe this place is Black-owned, which makes shopping here even better (for me, at least). If you are in Bed-Stuy, PLEASE give Wine-O a visit! They are reasonably priced (I can always find good Rose for 10 or 20, depending on my finances that week :P)

The cutest wine shop in bed stuy. I try and make it in on fridays when they have tastings. It's a great way to meet your neighbors as it seems the whole neighborhood stops in. The selection is also great and affordable! I highly recommend!

Stopping by this wine store always makes my day. Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful, and the wine selection is really well curated. The last time that I was in the store they invited me and others stopping in to join in a casual wine tasting as they were deciding what to put on the shelves next-- it felt like I was sitting around the dinner table with family. The prices are really fair, too-- how many NY wine shops do you know with a good Oregon Pinot Noir for $15?

The owner is an absolute delight and always points you in the right direction for the perfect bottle of wine! I'm always more than thrilled when I don't have to point behind thick plexiglass to a bottle of wine and can instead pick it up and make my own selection! Delicious Reds and even Kosher wines too!
