Wing Boss

I had Buffalo hot and lemon pepper wings. The buffalo was good, but the lemon pepper was not because they tasted artificial and strange. My husband had the Cajun wings and they were delicious. I liked the Cajun season fries also. I have to say I prefer wing stop to here, but wing boss is okay.

UPDATE….looks like my orders was sent to the Dickeys next door. Great wings! The idea of pit smoked wings made me very curious. The wings had excellent flavor with a hint of smoke. We ordered versions of hot, mild and garlic Parmesan. EXCELLENT! This was our second visit to this location and the staff made the atmosphere very enjoyable both times. They encountered an issue with their registers accepting credit/debit payment but they took this in stride by having customers use the app to collect credit card payments. Very impressive customer oriented staff members. Great job!

I was presently surprised by wing boss! If I'm being honest, I didn't even know wing boss existed until I happened to see the place while driving around looking for a quick lunch. I decided to go in, check out the menu, and eventually ordered . What surprised me even more is that this place is a Dickey's BBQ company. I ordered the lemon pepper, dry rub wings. Since I didn't know anything about this place, I figured that was a safe bet, and it was. The service was good, very clean place, and I was in and out pretty quick. The wings were pretty good as well. I'll definitely keep this WING BOSS on my lunchtime options list. Go check em out if there's one near you. #rodpverified

Great new wing spot in Addison! Tons of sauce options - I love the Thai sweet and original BBQ! The ranch is delicious! Staff is super friendly and attentive, the GM Kimberly is very hardworking! They do catering for business events and parties, also a great spot to meet a friend and watch the game. I was a bit hesitant to try Wing Boss since I saw it was owned by Dickey's. I personally do not care for Dickey's barbecue. But, I'd thought I give Wing Boss a try after looking for the best wings in Addison. The wings are a 10/10. I don't think I've had smoked wings before, and man, were they good! That smoke flavor mixes so well with the crunchy exterior. The manager told us it's all smoked in-house throughout the day. I was surprised how juicy the wings were. They are similar to that of Wing Stop with regards to sauces, combos, etc. I ordered the 6 piece combo with Lemon Pepper Rub. I should've ordered more on the way out because they were that good. Service was attentive and friendly. The only criticism I have is that the celery and carrots were a bit dried out. Maybe keep in water or something before serving? It's such a small issue that shouldn't take away from the wings. I'd come back again for lunch if I was in the area.

This place way way better when it was JUST Wing Boss. Ever since Dickies morphed with them into this location, the service has declined. The first thing you hear when you walk in the door is “we are out of…” doesn’t make you want to eat here. The lady with the tattoos is careless. My wings were PINK. Order wrong. Avoid this place if you can. Sucks to see a good place go down hill.

I love Wingboss! The combo of the smoke and the fried wing makes for a very solid wing. The Addison location has stellar service, make sure to check the bag but typically I have no problems and they take good care of me. Buyer beware thought. The websites coupon codes don’t always work. Sides- Fries are okay, usually under seasoned. Mac n cheese is solid, veggies are freshish. But I’m there for the wings. So there’s that. Sauces and seasonings are all solid and on point! I typically get sauces on side so I can control the sauce level. I like they offer that option. Overall, solid choice for wings.

Best wings in Dallas hands down. The size of the wings are exactly what you would be expecting. Even their pints of beer or a little larger than. They also have great happy hour specials call head. Can’t recommend this place for wings anymore than I already have.

The food is amazing!! and everything is always so fresh, full of flavor and the service is top tier!! My husband and I come every weekend! Aaron, Tiffany and Mike are always so helpful and kind. Also, the margaritas are THE BEST we're customers forever!!!

This is a great place to watch the Cowboys (or other sports). Wings are great, awesome drink specials and happy hour. Prices are good. Super casual place but if you want to throw down on wings this is the spot!!! So many flavors and the workers are pretty nice and tend to throw a little extra food your way if you are nice to them.

Came here on a whim on the way to our hotel from a long flight. Nice spot to chill and watch the game and have wings. In our case we just wanted takeout, and Luis was there with his cape to save the day. Soon as I walked in Luis immediately greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I had family with me so I appreciate Luis being patient and allowing me to take the menu back to the car so we can get all of the orders together. I appreciate Luis patience and letting me sample some of the flavors before ordering, which helped me make a decision on what I wanted my tenders to be drowned in. Ended up ordering the Thai Chilli 5 pc tender combo , and Garlic Parmesan 5 pc tender combo. The tenders were average but both the Thai Chilli and Garlic Parm sauce was amazing. And the fries were fresh cut potato fries slightly seasoned was on point. Next time around I would like to checkout the smoked wings. Great late night spot to checkout.

Dined here with friends last night and had an awful experience. We walked in 9:45pm- restaurant closes at 11. We placed four 8-wing combos and was told to have a seat, as the wait would be about 13-15 mins which was completely acceptable (great wings take time!). Well 15 mins turned into 50 mins and it was only 2 other people in the restaurant at the time. We grew impatient but still did not complain. After the 50 min wait, a guy brought our food to the table completely cold. We were so stunned because what?!!!.... What exactly were you doing for us to wait that long and our food not be the least bit fresh. Very disappointed.

I read about Dickeys getting into the wing business so I thought it was time to give them a try. Very glad I did! My experience began when I went to order - Roxanne at the register was really helpful - gave me some info on the smoked wings they start out with. I just wanted a big plate of wings, no sides. Not a problem she said. They came out sauced to perfection and hot in just a few minutes. The mango habanero had a touch of heat mixed with the mango, really flavorful. Had to go with their Buffalo sauce and that didn't disappoint either. I love all the writing on the wall along with the old ads and stickers - they also have a bunch of beer on tap as well as some booze. I've got nothing negative to say about this place. Looking for wings - give them a try!

Ordered on Super Bowl Sunday. Spent $60 wings were burnt , gooey in the middle, celery was rotten. The smell was DISGUSTING the store staff said they knew they were black and " was going to call us to see if we wanted something different " but didn't. I asked WHY DID YOU SEND THEM OUT THE DOOR?? The staff said they are very busy and acted like I was bothering them apologized but no reason or action taken. Tia store can make people sick. Disgusting and beyond disappointed. This was Super Bowl Sunday and now we have no wings.

Wing Boss is your typical wing place. I had the six-piece wing combo. Lemon pepper and buffalo mild were my flavors for the wings. I would say that the meal was a 6/10, there wasn't anything that really stood out. They serve daiquiris as well, but I did not try one on this occasion. The restaurant is perfect for a quick lunch if or maybe a takeout dinner.

Honestly not worth it, save your money. They forgot to include half of our order in the bag and it was already paid for. Service was not great or kind. Overall will not be returning neither for dining in or for to go orders. Food was cold and sauce was just added on top without mixing it in with wings. Taste was fine, nothing special. Hope they get it together soon.

As a wing connoisseur, Wing Boss is a hidden gem. Not sure how the bad reviews were scored but trust me, give this place a try! The wings are smoked giving them a deeper flavor and leaving them really juicy, but not soggy. I ordered a 6-wing combo and chose Buffalo Hot (hot without being overpowering, great buffalo flavor) and Thai Sweet Chili (DIVINE! perfectly sweet and smoky). Both flavors were awesome. Love their fries also. Great HH (happy hour) specials. I had a margarita that was delicious, especially loved the pebble ice. Will definitely be back and have already recommended this place to a few other wing lovers.

Surprising how good the wings were, didn't think so honestly but it had a nice inside great memorabilia and the food was made fast but good

Decided to try a new wing place today and landed on wing boss. I read the reviews and was kinda on the fence but decided what the heck might as well. I got lemon pepper and garlic parm wings. The lemon pepper ones actually weren't bad. I thought the flavor was pretty good and there was a decent amount of lemon pepper seasoning. Their could've been more seasoning but it wasn't skimp. I liked the smoked flavor of the wing but chicken itself could've used more flavor. The garlic parm wings were not very good. The smoky flavor mixed with the sauce they put was just not good. It wasn't much garlic flavor or parm. Just tasted kinda watered down sauce. Definitely think if I eat them again I would get lemon pepper and maybe just Buffalo or bbq. The fries weren't good. I was hoping they would be due to some reviews and the pictures I saw. But the fries lacked seasoning and they could've been crispier. I'd say it's ok but would need to maybe try more flavors before I give it a higher rating.

Wow!!! Hands down best wings in the area, and they're SMOKED! I can't wait to come back and try more flavors, but the lemon pepper dry rub was amazing.

Absolute trash. We had the boneless and bone in wings. Fries were soggy and wings seemed old too. Worst wings I've ever had.

I would have never thought that I would switch from Wingstop.Wing Boss is true to their name. The smoke and deep fried combo is a great touch. After years of eating there this is my new favorite spot !

Damn good!! Went here for first time and will def be back. The Cajun fries are really good and love that you can use the markers to graffiti the tables and walls. Meant to take a pic of food before i started eating. But oops. Forgot

$11.25 for 6 average sized wings? No thanks. That's no drink, no side, no ranch, just 6 wings for $11.25 + tax. I know food costs are up, but c'mon. These aren't huge wings (see the pictures on the other reviews)

This whole experience was super mid. The wings were only interesting bc they were smoked but the flavor was basic & not enough garlic for garlic parm, Mac & cheese tastes like stouffers, service was just ok. The guy making the wings had to come out of the kitchen to reask what our wing flavors were. The flavor I originally asked for, they didn't have. Kept seeing good reviews & im not sure why, now .

If I could give it zero stars id do it in a heartbeat. Overcooked, old, and way too salty. 30 bucks down the drain. And had I known it was coming from a ghost kitchen it Dickies I would have ran the other way, because their food it equally abysmal. Save urself some time and money

Place is okay I wouldn't come back but the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Their fries are great remind me of wingsstop fries but better as these are freshly made! Their lemon pepper and barbecue dry rub wings are ok I'm not a big fan of the smoked flavor but if you are then you will love these. Great place to have drinks at though very lively.

Great service, food, and happy hour! The happy hour is every day, plus the lemon pepper wings were delicious. We will definitely be back!

Small wings, overpowering smoke flavor, soggy fries, sour tasting ranch, dried out carrots, and sauces that are lacking. Worst wings I've had unfortunately :(

First time here and the food and drinks are really good. Just moved into town, and it's hard to find a good wing place. Very chill environment. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The food was really good. I got wings and macaroni. I love the fries they taste like wings top fries. I ordered on line so I'm not sure about the service. I'd say the food is worth it 8/10 just for the price. Wings in Texas are expensive.

My go to for Uber eats lol fast and quick, the wings are always cooked perfectly. Dry rubs are always good but I also have been enjoying the sweet Thai chili lately

I know it's an audacious and hard accusation to pin down. But I didn't eat anything else that day and I was crazy sick 3 hours after eating here. Out both ends if you will. I mean the flavours were good, but I can't give a place a good rating when I'm 99% sure I got food poisoning feom them. They were nice.

The wings were the driest I've probably ever had and not much flavor on the lp and mango habanero

Walked in came in Chad was very welcoming. The wings are great the Cajun seasoned fries. Great Happy hour 8-close cheap beer and shot specials. Will be coming back welcome to the neighborhood.

This is not the location i went to. I did an online order for pick up a Dickeys in Frisco. When i got there i was told by the young man they had no wings. This is after i paid 75.00 already. He told me i couldn't get a refund because this was ghost kitchen. He did call his boss who told me the same thing but offered us pork sandwiches. I declined because at this point I'm upset. My family ate sandwiches that night. Now almost 2 weeks later n countless emails, instagram posts still no reply from anyone related to Wing Boss! At this point I'm owed double that. Totally unacceptable

Wing Boss is better than Buffalo Wild Wings, in my opinion. The wings are seasoned well and the Thai Sweet Chili flavor is impressive. Another bonus is the Hunch Punch - drinks are worth it.

Nice place to eat lunch. The wings were great. I will be back. I had the Bone in Texas Hot and Sweet Chili.

Wings were fireeee. And I never leave Yelp reviews. They were a great size, great flavor. I def will be going back. And the staff was so kind.
