Okay, so my wife and I had been here before and had a relatively mid experience. Our server was pretty much absent the whole time and I had to flag her down to refill my water after she dodged the little table sign. The food was 10/10, so I don’t mind bad service for good food sometimes. I decided to go back because again, food—delicious. Phenomenal? Perhaps. This time we sat at the bar. Funny enough, the same server is also the bartender! After sitting there for 5ish minutes, she slid over some menus. We placed our order and received the same dodgy service the whole time. I actually leaned over to my wife and said, “The service might suuuuck, but the food’s good so it’s cool.” So, we finish and put our plates together and push them towards the bartender’s side of the bar (she was not present for a few moments). She picks them up and I wait for the obvious question of, “Would you like to check out?” or at least something along those times. No. I don’t joke when I say we sat for 10 minutes while she did dishes and waited for our check. I finally turned around and ALL of the chairs were on the tables and we had been the last ones there. I said, “Oh! What?! I was just waiting on you for a check—I didn’t mean to close the place out.” I get that maybe I should’ve just asked for a check, but should I have to when it’s kind of obvious? (Side bar: I’d like to note that we were never rude or impolite at any point of this meal. I’m actually pretty chill, but this felt review worthy lol). She gave me my check and said, “Thank you. Have a good night.” And that was probably the most we heard from her all night. Again, I’m not even necessarily mad here. I’m more so confused as to how I get such baaaad service and such good food. I’ll go back to Wing Dome, but I’ll probably just drive further for a better shot at a good time lol.
