"The scene at the Wingdome in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood was described as a greasy, chaotic annual buffalo wing–eating contest called the Tatonka Bowl, with about 100 Amazon employees exhibiting dazed expressions and lots of greasy hands as teams tried to consume as much chicken as possible. The event was organized with tongue-in-cheek Amazon efficiency — “wing flow managers” oversaw plate distribution to keep the process scalable and inspectors checked bones for stray meat — and even featured a bagpipe player providing a hellish soundtrack.
