Wingnutz Bar and Grill - Review - Williamsville - Buffalo - The Infatuation

"Wingnutz is relatively new to the Buffalo wing scene. The owners got their start dishing out drums and flats at a Knights of Columbus in North Buffalo (yes, the fraternal Catholic organization), before getting a feature on a popular sports podcast. Now, they have a brick-and-mortar in Williamsville where the wings undoubtedly live up to the hype. These are perfectly sauced behemoths—don’t bother questioning how these wings are so big, just make sure you get them with their Wingnutz Signature sauce. It delivers the buttery cayenne sizzle you expect from classic wings, but with a fruitier sweetness that sets it apart." - David Neimanis

The Best Wings in Buffalo, According to a Native

"The level of crispiness on wings is up for debate as some prefer a crunchier wing than others. Those looking for the extra crispy style should definitely try Wingnutz. The jumbo wings are coated in a top secret spice blend and crisped to their standards, without being dry. If you can’t possibly choose from one of its dozen sauce styles, worry not because they offer a signature wing flight with one of everything including the Sriracha Honey BBQ and their signature savory and sweet sauce." - Tori Allen

The Best Chicken Wings in Buffalo Started in a Community Banquet Hall

"Operated by husband and wife duo Ed and Alicia Wrazen, Wingnutz has been serving expertly crafted wings since 2018 out of a Knights of Columbus in North Buffalo. The restaurant is known for its specialty sauces and has developed a cult following. It initially only served wings out of its location at the Knights of Columbus, with orders placed in advance through Facebook Messenger. The restaurant has now expanded to include two locations, one for dining in and take-out, and one for take-out only." - Sean Flynn

Google
The wings were cooked very well and they have a good selection of sauces. In comparison to the local pizzeria’s, the quality of the actual chicken was definitely better. We liked all the different flavors except for the garlic parm, since it tasted pretty dry. The one downside is that the restaurant was super busy and it was a long wait to get our order. Also our waitress was kind but she was so busy that we didn’t see her much, and it took a while for drink refills.

Went with family on a weekday. It wasn't too crowded. We ordered wings with 4 different sauces...the house by far was the best. The tacos were great as well. Kids loved the baklava cheesecake. Ample parking. Might have to wait a bit for your order.

Google
First time trying Wingnutz. I sat at the bar for lunch - the bartender was very attentive and provided great service. The wings were both really crispy and really saucy. I had the Buffalo Hot sauce. They came out great and tasted delicious. Also, we got the pizza logs which were kicked up a bit by being brushed with a garlic butter over the top. Would definitely stop back again.

Google
The wings were the best I’ve ever had! Plenty of juicy meat on them, and the sauces had amazing flavor. The pizza was cooked really well. The only problem with the atmosphere was a kids party going on in a separate room and could hear the kids screaming more than anything else, but the decor of the restaurant was spot on and very large. The server was attentive but did charge us for things we didn’t order and promptly removed them.

Our server Hailey made our afternoon even before the meal. Her and the rest of the staff were so friendly and attentive to our needs. The portions are huge and the food is mouthwatering tasty. From the poutine to the chicken sandwich to the wings everything was cooked to perfection. We will be back.

If you're looking for a spot where the locals go for good wings, this is it. Tucked away in an unassuming strip of restaurants and shops, this place was exactly what we were looking for! We started with their nachos (because we almost always start with nachos), which were not fancy but sure were delicious. The chips were covered with plenty of pico, cheese, and more. We followed that up with some of their traditional wings drenched in some of their delicious wind sauces (seriously, not a dry spot to be found on a single wing!). Highly recommend the sticky lemon pepper as well as the signature sweet & tangy sauce -- both were so good!! Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was a mix of college kids and families in a very casual setting. We could easily converse, and the temperature was comfortable. We will definitely visit here again the next time or travels take us to Buffalo!!

Google
So far, the best wings I have had in Buffalo, definitely don't judge a book by its cover as the exterior of the building is a hot mess! Inside however you'll find tons of Buffalo sports fans watching the game. Wings are big, crispy and SAUCY! Try the lemon pepper or the honey garlic Sriracha! They do have food and drink specials during the week as well!

Google
This Wingnuts location was all about the expansion of their empire. Their product had proven good at their OG and satellite locations. Now it was time to make some noise in the suburbs. My son and I enjoyed the NY style pizza with pepperoni, basil and hot honey. It was slightly sweet but definitely 🔥🔥. We also had 20 of the Wednesday $1 wings. Our spread was Buffalo medium and BBQ. They did not disappoint. If you're unfamiliar with their wings they are not your standard Buffalo wings. They have a light coating that almost mimics a breading. They are always crispy for that reason but definitely not a traditional wing. Most love them and some don't care for them. I always enjoy them but they not on my top tier. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're from the area or from out of town.

Yelp
Wingnutz might be one of the best (if not the best) spots for wings in Buffalo. It is at the top of the pyramid for wings and for good reason. These wings are HUGE, saucy, and still have a great crunch to them. I was in for trivia night on Wing Wednesday and ordered some of their Buffalo Hot and their Signature sauce. Their signature is a mild type of sauce but the flavor is amazing. It is unlike any other mild sauce in Buffalo. Definitely have to get some of these every time I am there just for the taste alone. The Buffalo Hot live up to the name. Covered in sauce, they leave the heat with you more and more after each wing you have. The flavor of the hot is good though, not something you have to suffer through. The service here is incredible. Nicole was our server and she was great! She made sure the wings came out quick from the kitchen and we were happy with the overall service on a VERY busy night. This is a really cool spot too. Classic sports bar vibes with the tvs and all that but every table is comfortable whether it was a booth, normal table or high top. Really great options for everyone here. Can't believe it took me this long to realize that I haven't written a review for here yet but I am here all the time. The wings are that good!

Yelp
Excellent wings that are big and cooked well. We liked all the sauces we tried and appreciate how they're all made in house. Favourites were the signature and buffalo sauces. Worth going during happy hour which is basically half off wings. Took quite some time to get our wings though, even on a weekday at 3pm. Our waitress was great.

Yelp
Came to Buffalo for work. Wingnutz was a quick walk from my hotel. I ordered 10 wings. I was lucky, it was still happy hour and I got 10 wings for $10. I tried the original flavor and the Sriracha/honey. The wings we crazy temp hot the whole time and crispy!! The original flavor was great and I thought the other was a bit too sweet for me. Crazy good though. I also ordered the Philly cheesecake stuffy. It was huge and tasty!! Definitely will be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
I got these delivered to my hotel so it might be hard to compare but I didn't like this as well as Duff's. The wings are still really good and HUGE! But the sauces I didn't think were quite as good. Still a great option for wings and other items and wish I had more time in town that I could've come in to eat.

Yelp
Listen, we've been wingnutz fans since Knights of Columbus days Wings have stayed the same - amazing wings Some other items have shifted as the locations evolved Fries seem to go up in price and down in size which as a fry lover is sad lol Blue cheese has come a long way great BC Ranch could use some tweaking (it's for the fries before yall come for me jeez) Overall a favorite place we love it here. Especially for happy hour 3-6 Tuesday Wed Thursdays!

Yelp
We attended an event here. It was held in the large party room in the back. Besides the event itself, there were 30+ people placing separate orders. The service was fantastic. 5+ for sure. We ordered take out. Ten wings each, Saucy hot Cajun and Buffalo medium. Even with the sauce, you still got the crispiness on the wings. Good flavors without being an overpowering hot. Yummy homemade blue cheese for dipping topped off your order. The only thing I thought was a bit strange was there were no carrots or celery included. Minus 1 star for that. 2024-81

Yelp
This is the place to be if you love a good wing !! These are definitely not skinny malnourished chicken wings!! And if you want a really fun environment then Thursday night , dollar wing night, is the night for you!! I had to order their cookie with ice cream and chocolate sauce after I had a slice of cheese pizza. The cookie was delicious , actually two cookies with ice cream in between and chocolate syrup drizzled over the top. They didn't really need the whipped cream on top but it made it look pretty and the serving size was absolutely enough for two people! Even though it was a jumping night the service was excellent. Couldn't ask for a more cheerful waiter!!

Yelp
I live in VA. But visit Buffalo multiple times a year and think of myself as a wing connoisseur. I'll get right to the point. These wings might be in my top 5, but they don't displace Bar Bill as number 1. They are saucy. They are big. They are crispy. They are saucy. The blue cheese is delicious. They are saucy. So no real complaints. If you love sauce you will love these wings. I usually like less sauce. Let the wing speak for itself. Unrelated, yes it's expensive. Try to do a daily special or coupon or something. $2 a wing is pushing it. So...top 5. But not top 3.

Yelp
Had them a cpl times. Just average, nothing I would go out of my way for. Ordered med, but they were hot and the dry and overcooked.

Yelp
Wingnutz has the best wings! We love how crispy they are and all the sauces are outstanding. These are the only wings I'll eat reheated the next day- they taste just as good! Our favorite is always the Wingnutz signature and Honey Sriracha BBQ comes in second. Today we came for wing Wednesday- definitely take advantage of their deals! $1 wings on Wednesday and for happy hour- great deal for these wings! Today we also tried the smash burger and it was tasty. Just a solid typical burger, no sauce, but good flavor. We also participated in trivia they had tonight- so much fun! We only miss their homemade blue cheese, as they stopped making it( please bring it back!!) Great service and atmosphere!

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday afternoon with a party of six to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were very pleased to see that their lunch specials menu is available on weekends. I have been a Wingnutz fan since their days at the Knights of Columbus, and was so pleased to see that their quality hasn't suffered at ALL over the years. Now onto the wings: They are EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! Perfectly cooked, well sauced, and large! I had mine sauced with Alicia's Sweet Heat sauce, which I loved. Our server was very sweet, accommodating, and provided great service for our table. She kept our drinks flowing, and was kind enough to bring us lots of napkins and wetnaps for the big mess that we made.

Yelp
Wingnutz is a great place to go when you want wings!! Their signature wings are the best in my opinion. A nice mix of sweetness and tanginess! The Buffalo medium weee also good, but may be a touch closer to hot in my opinion. Even the mild had a bit of a kick to them. Wings were huge too!! And you Can't beat one dollar wing night on Wednesdays... such a great deal!! We had excellent service from Austin!!! Very friendly and eager to converse with you! We were in the banquet room which is a very spacious spot to have large groups of chicken wing fans!! There is a nice bar there too. A great place to gather and get some of Buffalo's best wings!!! Don't forget to check out their dessert of the week, we had the s'more chocolate mousse tart and it was delicious!!!!

Yelp
The last time I had Wingnutz (that was not a Yelp Elite event) was when they were running out of a Knights of Columbus, but I know just how awesome their chicken wings are. A friend from NYC and a friend from Australia were visiting Niagara Falls and wanted to meet-up for a truly Buffalo-centric dinner, so I recommended Wingnutz Bar & Grill and I am really happy to say this was a great experience! I arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night to a packed front parking lot but thank goodness there is just as big a parking lot in the rear of the restaurant. Afterward, I entered in through the rear-entrance and made my way to the hostess station, walking through packed tables, a young girl's birthday part in "Room 40", and a packed bar. I was waiting on my friends to arrive so I grabbed a seat on the end of the couch and kept an eye on my phone as plenty of Uber Eats, Door Dash, and others walked in. I was not sure how many seats we needed so that is why I did not put my name in for a table (and I could not get a hold of them thanks to how the Falls affects cell service), but once they came, the hostess took my name and number and told me they would text in about 20 minutes. After about 20 minutes, we were led back to a half-circle booth and given menus to look over. Our server, I believe their name was Travis, came right over and took our drink orders. We asked for extra time to look over the menu so I could go over with my friends what the Buffalo delicacies to order were. We did have to ask for silverware after our food arrived, but that was really the only "hiccup". Even in terms of wait time for our food after we placed our orders, it was very reasonable, especially with the variety of food we ordered and how busy they were. Overall, our server did a fine job making sure we were taken care of throughout our dining experience! Saturday night is pizza night for me, plus I heard the pizza at Wingnutz is pretty good, so I was eyeing up their pizzas. I wound up going with their bi-weekly special pizza for 10/02/2024-10/16/2024: Don't Mess with Texas Pizza - BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese base topped with BBQ chicken thighs, bacon, jalapeno peppers, caramelized onions, and finished with a drizzle of ranch. In terms of pizza size, I estimate it to be a 12"-13" 'small' size pizza, cut into six slices - Perfection! This pizza itself was phenomenal! The BBQ chicken thighs were cooked and shredded perfectly and paired nicely with the crispy bacon pieces throughout. The heat from the jalapenos was there but the cheddar cheese and ranch drizzle did a good job balancing that heat. The dough is similar to Buffalo-style but not too thick/dense, with a nice crunch on the crust. If you have read any of my other reviews, specifically with pizza, you know I always have room to finish a small pizza, so I had no problem finishing this pie off, leaving me plenty full and happy. The price for this pizza was very much in-line with the price I see at local Buffalo pizza places, specifically for a small-size specialty pizza. I am so glad to finally check out Wingutz Bar & Grill! The whole experience was wonderful and I am happy to say that the expansion from just awesome chicken wings to sandwiches and pizza is just as delicious! I would not hesitate to get a pizza again, but next time, I need to get some wings!

Yelp
Ate her while I was visiting Buffalo. The servers were very friendly and checked on Me regularly. It's definitely divey, but if you're looking for Buffalo wings you're not expecting anything too fancy. I didn't get buffalo wings but I was happy with my order. It was a little Bit pricier than I was expecting, but it was a solid option right next to my hotel.

Yelp
Was looking for the "best wings in Buffalo" and we ended up at Wingnutz and they did not disappoint! Perfectly crispy, so saucy, and 5 was perfect for lunch. The pepperoni on the pizza was so crispy, I wish we didn't have to drive so far so we could've taken some pizza to go!
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Wow ! These wings are not like any buffalo wing you have had before, they are deliciously crispy and slightly coated in flour. Their signature sauce is unmatched ! Mildly spicy and a little sweet, you have got to try it for yourself. A close second for me was their mild wings, the sauce on these were slightly buttery and just a tad bit of heat. We also tried the garlic parmesan, very delicious (these were my husband's favorite). I would give them 10 stars if I could. Our server was phenomenal, she let us sample a sauce we didn't even choose. Very nice sports bar vibe as well.
google avatar

Greg O.

Yelp
Large variety of beer on tap. Lots of seating and many tvs on different sports channels. Wings are good, decent size, and they have a variety of sauces. The buffalo hot are hot but not burn your mouth level of heat. They're what "hot" should be. Likewise the medium are about the right level of heat for medium. Some places these days have medium that really should be called mild. Wings are expensive though, even more so than the general upcharge every wing place has done. $2/wing is excessive. Good news is Wednesdays they have $1 wings. Menu has other items too but haven't tried anything else. Wings also didn't come with celery.
google avatar

Jenna N.

Yelp
We've gone to the wingnutz on Millersport highway a couple of times since they opened. The wings are great, they have a different type of coating than normal wings, and are smothered in delicious sauce; the signature wingnutz sauce is great. The pizza is really good too! Even the salads, well crafted for a pizza/wing spot. Service has always been good and food comes out quick, and every time we've been there it's busy. The setup is a typical sports bar like space, so if that's what you're looking for, this is your place!
google avatar

Yelp
Inviting restaurant, a lot of patrons which is a good sign. The wings are excellent! Very delicious, this was my first time having them so I will be returning

Yelp
I was shopping all day with a friend and we just wanted a quick but delicious lunch and as you know, it's difficult to find an open restaurant on a Sunday. We stopped in here and we were seated immediately ( didn't realize how big this place was ) . Our waitress was just as friendly as can be. Love when they take that extra moment to chit chat. It certainly gives a hometown feel. My friend and I got two different lunch specials- one was two slices of pizza and one was garlic Parmesan wings .. then we split it !!! Ohhhhh myyyy goodnesssss... it was delicious- the wings were cooked to perfection and just could have ate 5 dozen of them - well, ok, not 5 dozen, that may be a slight exaggeration. I guess I'm trying to say absolutely the best I've ever had!! I'll be going back for sure!
google avatar

Dorothy R.

Yelp
Wing Nutz is just amazing. They have turned around the "Bflo Chicken Wing. I like to go there all the time . Their special sauce "chicken wing" is sooo good and delicious. It certainly outdoes the other places for "chicken wings"! They are a little more expensive than all the other places, but but you certainly get what you pay for! The drumsticks are as big as a "chicken leg" I am a "flats" person, and they are just as big as the drumsticks" They certainly are worth every penny of "chicken wings". Just "AMAZING"

Yelp
I've been with the Wingnutz brand since they were selling their wings from the Knights of Columbus on Military. I've always loved their food. That's why, now that they have a brick and mortar to call their own, I decided to come here with my parents, in-laws, and husband to celebrate my birthday. Their wings are beyond mouth watering. The best in Buffalo, in my opinion. The sports bar atmosphere feels warranted and the service has always been great. Their sauces are incredible and, though I can't get my wings dredged like everyone else due to me being gluten free, the food is out of this world. I got the house wing sauce on my order and it was simply divine. So sweet yet savory and full of flavor. I absolutely love their food! I recommend this restaurant highly. I suggest you bring all your friends or family here to celebrate the thing that makes Buffalo great: our wings!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been a huge fan of Wingnutz since the Knights of Columbus days with Ed and Alicia. I love them both dearly and am so happy for their success. From the Knights of Columbus to Froth Brewing and now a brand new location featuring the best, most unique chicken wing in Buffalo (and beyond): Wingnutz!!! I might live in Los Angeles but I know good wings and I know that the size, the sauciness, and the crunch are what make Wingnutz stand out from the crowd. So, when I was in town for the holidays, I made a special trip to check out the new location. I dined with a good friend who used to work at Santora's so he was excited and surprised to see all the renovations and upgrades. I love that the banquet room is named "Room 40" and that the homage to the Barstool boys (and Josh Allen) is present. We sat in the dining room but I noticed the space is huge. There appeared to be plenty of seating at the bar plus tables and chairs in the bar area. The dining room was equally as spacious and there was a decent size crowd, despite the fact I was there for lunch. On to the best part: THE FOOD!!! My friend and I ordered the Wingnutz Logs to share in addition to 20 wings (half Honey Garlic and half BBQ). He also ordered a cup of the Chicken Wing Soup. Even though the order only came with three, the Wingnutz Logs were HUGE and SO good. They consist of Wingnutz chicken wing dip and mozzarella egg rolls served with marinara sauce. I could have eaten these all day long, so so delicious. In terms of the wings, they were just as good as I remembered. However, I was slightly bummed they don't come with celery or carrots AND while I knew the Honey Garlic had a $2.25 upcharge, I did not realize we'd get hit with two $2.25 upcharges because we got these in a quantity of 10. I will keep this in mind for future reference but it doesn't quite sit right with me. As you may know, this location is pretty new and they are still in the soft-opening phase (the grand opening is happening soon). I have to admit that this was clear; our server presented as brand new as she tried to take my order before my dining companion arrived (the table was set for two), among a few other things. Also, it was a little frustrating to have our appetizers and wings all come out at the same time. I had inquired about signing the guestbook and was told the book was at the restaurant but no one seemed to know where it was (insert sad face here). Regardless, I am confident all of these kinks will be worked out as time goes on. For that reason (among a million others - the biggest being the phenomenal wings) I continue to highly recommend Wingnutz to anyone and everyone who will listen! Enjoy!

A E.

Yelp
Had some interesting flavors but could not distinguish exactly which ones were which as they were unlabeled. Wings were soggy.
google avatar

Sandy R.

Yelp
Very good wings that are "coated" before frying. These large wings are crisp and saucy, just the way we like them. The buffalo chicken pizza had a med/hot traditional sauce chicken finger cut up and baked on the pizza. Food was tasty; but a bit pricey. The staff was attentive. And helpful with drink selections. We wish there were descriptions for the custom sauces and "heatness" levels. There are entrances on both sides of the restaurant , with the back near the patio. There is a separate bar area , dining area and then a party room and a large clean, modern restroom that services all areas. We were there for a fun Yelp night. Brandon, our help host had everyone laughing with his Buffalo trivia.
google avatar

Richard M.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best wings in the area. Nice assortment of sauces complement larger than average, crispy wings. Splitting an order with 2 sauces a nice touch and appreciated. Smashburger was less satisfying, fries very salty. Service was very good and friendly.
google avatar

Kaylee A.

Yelp
Amazing crispy wings with plenty of flavors to choose from! The price is a bit higher than other places, but you get what you pay for! Service was a bit slow when I visited, but there booths were also full. Seems like a great family vibe to it!
google avatar

Shawn M.

Yelp
Wings were great and the place is beautifully renovated. Great and spacious bar area and every single member of the staff was super friendly and engaging. Very creative menu also. The wing flight was so filling and delicious.

Robert H.

Yelp
Wingnutz is more than just wing! I had the Smashburger and french fries that was excellent. Couldn't help myself. I had to order five of the garlic Parm wings, which were amazing. I highly recommend Wingnutz some excellent wings if not the best in Buffalo.
google avatar

Rita J.

Yelp
Great wings, love that they are meaty but not scarily so. Lol the diverse sauce choices have something for everyone. Don't snooze when they have a specialty wing flavor. I had an order of cajun blue I think it was called. Dry rubbed cajun wings, drizzled with hot honey, topped with blue cheese crumbles. So flipping good! My favorite, well the only app I've tried mozz logs topped with garlic parm butter. Delicious too. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. The place wasn't busy this night probably because of lent but that worked for us.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
This is MUCH more than just a pizza & wings joint. The portions are huge, the food is fresh and flavorful, and the service is great. Everything is plated beautifully too which you can't usually say for a pizza and wings place. Everything here is delicious. They have great lunch specials as well.

Nick H.

Yelp
Does not crack the top 50 wing spots in Buffalo. Came here about a year ago and thought it sucked. People insist it's great so I gave it another shot. Same experience. Wings are big and crispy, but the sauce is no different than BDubs and they are absolutely drowning in it... To say these are the best wings in Buffalo is an insult... one thing I'll give them is the wing sized blue cheese boat. Never seen that anywhere and it was convenient and a nice touch. But the wings simply aren't good. They're all so lightly breaded, and that's just not traditional. Never had a chance
google avatar

Alissa N.

Yelp
We were there for lunch and there were an abundance of tables and seating options. To be honest I felt like the menu was a little confusing and there were too many pages, also the menus given to people at my table were all different, although apparently the same information. The prices also seemed a little high. $11 for a children's meal that was grilled cheese and fries and does not include a drink - add extra $2. The food took a very long time to come out despite the fact the place was empty, it felt like 40+ minutes. As a positive, my food was really good- the chicken fingers with their signature sauce- tangy, sweet, sour, it's impossible to describe but it's good. The portion was pretty good size, couldn't even eat it all! We had to ask for blue cheese and silverware, lol, sorry that's just kind of the most basic things for eating this kind of food. I would probably go back again if I was in the immediate area, just to see if more time might help iron things out, and for that signature wing sauce which is so good!

Yelp
We were surprised to discover there is happy hour pricing for not only a beer or a glass of wine, but also on the wings. 10 wings for $10.00 before 6 p.m. tonight(a Tuesday). We were allowed to pick two flavors for our 10 wings. We ordered 1/2 with medium Buffalo wings sauce and 1/2 with honey garlic. Both were very good. We also ordered the smaller size of Parmesan fries for the four of us to share. It was definitely enough for four! Our waitress did make the correction right away, but the bill initially did not discount the beer to the happy hour price and we were charged for the larger platter of fries when I asked twice when ordering and again when the fries came out if it was the smaller tray of fries. Wingnutz is very much like their original, much smaller location. The wings are great and the fries are good and generous. Now there is a lot more room!

Yelp
The sweet red sauce on their pizza was amazing, but the crust was a bit dry. The Wingnuts Signature sauce wings were great, but their blue cheese is a weird hellish combination of ranch and blue cheese finally having the waring sides come together to hate it equally. This is Buffalo we are a blue cheese people. This was more ranch with blue cheese chuncks and it was an abomination of the name blue cheese.

Yelp
Visited for the first time I never heard of them until I heard someone say about it on TikTok so figure I would give it a try I met the owner he was extremely nice and explained how their sauces are different from the traditional buffalo wing sauce on Wednesdays they have 10 wings for $10 so I was able to try every flavor of their wing sauce they have other flavors, but they have 3 of their own house flavors WINGNUTZ SIGNATURE: SWEET & TANGY ALICIA'S SWEET HEAT (DF) ED'S SIZZUN' HOT (DF) their signature sauce is my favorite and from what I was told by the owner out sells their flavors and I get why for my entrée I got the beef on weck added 5 wings for $5 the sandwhich was good and lives up to the Buffalo standard my mother got the mother Clucker chicken sandwich she said it was also really good really good food very welcoming and accommodating friendly staff restaurant is clean. Bathrooms are clean. prices are no more or no less than anywhere else. I 100% recommend them and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Yelp
They did some nice interior work to upgrade the tired look of the old Santoras. Plenty of TV's to watch games on. The wings are unique, quite large, almost like little pieces of fried chicken. Their signature sauce has a good amount of heat be prepared. Personally I prefer wings that are a little smaller and crispier but overall they are solid. The blue cheese is tangy and delicious. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza, nice thin crust with tasty sauce. Service was attentive as new staff still working out the kinks of reopening. Looking forward to trying some other menu items soon.

Yelp
I had 2 OK margarita's, tasted the OK mozzarella sticks, and had 5 not so great "mild" chicken wings. Margatira's were fine nothing special or unique. I think my biggest problem was the blue cheese? They serve you this sauce in a cup which is like a ranch/bleu cheese blend and it was terrible. Not what I was expecting at all. The mild wings were also super spicy and peppery. We were a large group so the service was acceptable for that and did allow us to do separate checks. Atmosphere is nothing to write home about-- typical sports bar. After hearing all of the rave reviews about wingnutz wings I am disappointed.

Yelp
I might say it...these could be the best wings I've had in buffalo. I've been many places, but everything about their wings was perfect. First off, this wings are absolutely massive. To me, I need wings to be crispy. Sometimes if they are too saucy, they can make the wings soggy. I'm not too sure how they do it here though. They are so saucy, and yet are the crispiest wings I've had. Not to mention the garlic parm when you bite into it is so juicy and flavorful. I think people will always have their opinion of favorite wing places. But I believe EVERY Buffalonian should give these wings a try.

Yelp
This was our first time to this establishment. To begin with, these are full-size wings, the kind that used to be common place in the 1980s and 1990s and are now hard to find. They cooked them extra crispy as I requested. The sauces are nontraditional, which can be a good thing, but be prepared for the unexpected. Alicia's Sweet Heat is not at all my cup of tea, as it has strong cinnamon and nutmeg overtones, more appropriate to an apple pie or pumpkin soup than chicken wings, but everyone has their own preferences. There is unexpected heat in their sauces, which I would guess probably comes from some ghost pepper or other Scoville scorching purée, added to their sauces, which I actually found exhilarating. The garlic Parmesan was more of a dry rub and was tasty. The signature "sweet and tangy" was very interesting and not disappointing. Wingnutz is clearly a sports bar, with flatscreen TVs throughout the establishment tuned to various sporting events. We arrived at 5:45 PM on a Saturday which was a good thing because if we had arrived after 6 o'clock, we would have had to wait to be seated. My wife's beef on Weck was nicely stuffed, and the Parmesan fries was a very generous portion and nicely seasoned. When we first arrived, the hostess seated us promptly. The next person to arrive never brought me the Wi-Fi password which I requested before the place got busy, but she never came with that information. So after a half hour, I asked a different server who got it for me promptly. They have a full bar with a nice assortment of wine, beer and liquor. They honored our coupon without a hassle and although this place is pricey at two dollars per chicken wing, the size of these wings made the trip worth it. The menu promised that the wings would come with blue cheese dressing. They served my double order of wings with ranch dressing. I couldn't get our server's attention to correct this so I went ahead and ate the wings with the ranch dressing, which was disappointing. Plenty of parking in a semi private lot. This place will be worth a second visit to see if the service issues were an anomaly.

Yelp
FIVE STAR REVIEW ALERT!!! Mike was a great server, knowledgeable, helpful and super attentive!! First time there and we were so surprise how delicious the wings were!! They were crispy and saucy! We also both ordered a house salad and that portion was huge!! Food came out piping hot and quickly! The place is very pricey. 2 drinks, 20 wings and 2 salads $85. All in all we will be back!

Yelp
Excited to have finally made it here. The wings were crispy and delicious but definitely a little saucy for us- but they do advertise sauciness so I can't complain too much. The flavors were great- we had honey garlic and Ed's sizzlin hot. The sizzlin hot was delicious - hotter than your average hot in Buffalo which I preferred and I'd say the extra flavor makes it tolerable for anyone who likes hot. The pizza salad was amazing BUT so much bigger than it looks in the photo on the menu. Fries were ok, the chicken wing soup was delicious, packed with lots of chicken and good toppings. Waitress was super nice and food didn't take too long. Only complaint really is the cost of wings 5 for 12$ is steeper than most places and not worth skipping out on other notable wing joints. My fiancé got the chicken stuffy flavor on the specials menu and loved it! A guy from westchester being impressed with a cutlet sandwich around here is a big deal. Great bread and double the cutlets! Large beer selection, looking forward to going back and trying a lunch special!

Yelp
We finally made it to Wingnutz for dinner and drinks with some family members. Overall, we were really pleased with our experience. We were seated quickly even on a busy Saturday night, and the restaurant feels like a real sports bar with enough tvs to catch any game for anywhere in the restaurant. Our wings were delicious and had a little crunch to them that is unique to the area. I liked that they were not shy on sauce. The mozzarella sticks were good, but the nachos were pretty underwhelming.

Yelp
We tried the lemon pepper wings and sweet honey sriracha. The wings were so good and so crispy., I had some left overs later at night and they still had a nice crisp go them ! Fries were ok, nothing exciting but I did see a couple dishes being served around me I want to try. Service was a bit slow but low looked like maybe they were short staffed so I was as patient as I could be. I did have to ask twice for a refill on drinks before getting them which wasn't the best situation but again hoping it's not the normal and it was just short stating.
