The chicken was incredibly disappointing—dry, flavorless, and completely unappetizing. Out of the 12 portions that were served, an overwhelming 9 remained untouched on the table, which speaks volumes about the quality of the dish. The lack of seasoning and moisture made it difficult to enjoy, leaving everyone at the table unsatisfied. It was a poor dining experience overall, and I would strongly advise against ordering or recommending this dish to others.

This is a nice neighborhood bar. Clean, good ambiance and great food options. From chicken wings with different sauces to Subs and hot dogs. They have a nice selection of drinks and their daily happy hour is. The staff is friendly and is the perfect place to have a bite to eat while watching sports events.

Wings were great. Both boneless and bone-in were soft and juicy. Sauces were really good. Some of the sweetest and most crisp celery ever. Great place for drinks and good food. Expect a 3% fee for credit card payment.

Our go to place for wings and a drink and fun. The wings are wonderful and affordable. We order take out and dine in a few times per month when in town. The servers are warm and considerate. It feels kinda like home.

My favorite thing to do is eat wings, drink beer, and watch football. Wingos let me do all of that at a more than reasonable price. 20$ pitcher, 5$ a pint. Wings from 12-4 are also 1$ a pop. And wings are some of the best in the city they got endless flavors. Good quality big screens. Good service. All in all shout out wingos man

Hands down some of the best wings I’ve had in my life. The right amount of crisp and perfect amount of sauce, truly amazing. The drinks were strong, just the way I like it. Staff was cool.

I love this location they are the best the wings are so bomb! You have an all flats option. Wingos never miss! Bomb lemon drops, every flavor u can think of. I love the Asian owner who be at the front.

This place has been consistent for me for years. Wings are always decently sized, very saucy, and generous with the two ranches per order. I order from other wing spots and get so disappointed because they are never consistent. The variety of flavors are a bonus as well. Only negative thing I've experienced here was one of the Mongolian staff said something real out of pocket to me regarding my ethnicity, but I'll let it slide because the wings are so good haha When I order wings for delivery - it's always Wingo's!

Really great wings with a wide variety of sauce options. We ordered in from Wingo's and got garlic parm, hot honey, honey bbq, mambo and southern style wings. We also got seasoned fries and Mac and cheese. All of the food was really good! I agree with other reviews saying the hot honey had very little honey flavor, it was more of a toned down hot sauce flavor, it was good but would have been great with some more honey. Good spot for wings, I recommend trying!

just a quick update to say these are still the best wings in dc - order them crispy with extra sauce, and garlic parm is the best but - must love butter. also love hot garlic and the hot wings.

Garlic Parmesan chicken wings were soaked in sooooo much butter there was no taste. How can you improve you ask? Watch YouTube chef videos or Pinterest. Then maybe it'll be worth the price. The place itself is a dive yet comfortable. Please fix the ingredients or new chef/ cook. Thank you

Stopped in wingo's today for lunch, wow what a great place the wings were really freakin good the service was outstanding and the place is really nice inside. If you have a chance stop by and check them out!

I ordered Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper wings for delivery. The wings did not disappoint. I ordered crispy and extra sauce. I don't think it would have been as good without the extra crisp/sauce. Even though I enjoyed the wings, I think the Garlic Parmesan could have used more garlic. I would definitely order again. Garlic Parmesan - 4/5 Lemon Pepper -4.5/5

We came by to pick up a few orders of boneless wings on what was probably the busiest day of the year for them. You could see they had bags and bags of orders ready to go, with more on the way. The wings were solid, nicely dressed with each sauce. I recommend the garlic parmesan. They're nothing special, but they have no obvious flaws either, hence the three-star rating. I would definitely return the next time I need wings, given the ease with which they seemed to handle the massive number of orders.

The food at Wingo's is great, I love the Hoya Burger, Salmon Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and the Wings! The atmosphere is friendly and the music is great. Thanks Wingo's!

I feel like my partner would give it 5 stars, while I'd give it 3 stars, so we'll settle on a four star rating. Since moving to DC we've been looking for a place to get boneless wings and decided to try Wingo's out. We both got garlic parm and I got mambo sauce while he got hot sauce. The boneless wings were way smaller than I thought they would be for the price, but crispy. The garlic park was overloaded with butter which made them nearly inedible to me while the Mano sauce didn't taste like the mambo I'm used to. Again however, my partner enjoyed them. The apps were all good. The mozzarella sticks are clearly made in house and we're delish. The potato skins were fresh although they needed more sour cream. Onion rings were top notch. I'm sure we'll order again since he liked it so much, but it will be apps only for me!

Great place locals come to have good comfort food and drink! Excellent ownership that's always present and working hard as well as talking to the customers!

Well... I was craving mozzarella sticks later night while staying at the Washington Hilton and did a door dash search based on arrival time and ratings. Came up with Wingo's who does their own Door Dash delivery. . This place said 19 minutes when I placed the order at 10:28. Waited until 11:16 (48 minutes) watching the door dash app keep ticking off a later arrival minute by minute. Called restaurant at 10:58 (30 minutes in) and was assured order was leaving the store -8 minute drive). Still didn't arrive until 11:16 and then had a HEINZ marinara pack. At one point around 10:45 app showed it was on its way "on time"' then changed to "preparing your order" for the next 25 minutes. Ugh. At least provide your own marinara if I have to wait 50 minutes for your 20 minute promise. Sticks were lukewarm but good. Sauce was Heinz . Driver was sweet. Tipped him cash as I don't think it was his fault.

Food is given to you in take out containers for dine in, but you're given a paper plate and metal silverware. Strange concept. Service was slow food was ok.

I have been eating wingo's wings since I was in elementary school. It has been a reliable fixture in the neighborhood for ages, I will go with my friends or my dad when we are looking for some good reliable comfort food. Favorite flavor of wings are the lemon pepper, mambo, jerk, and mango habanero. The owner is a very nice dude and I love supporting his business.

Wingo's Wingo's and let me say it again!! Wingo's....I really wish I could give Wingo's more than 5stars but it's not an option, but I tried Wingo's for the first time, due to a few coworkers saying they have the best wings in town, so I said I gotta give them a try, placed an order for the southern chicken wings with fries and it was SO GO, absolutely delicious, upon arrival I was greeted by a very nice guy named Mike, later found out he's the owner, great guy, he will take the time to chat with you and most of all he's from NY, just makes the place feel like home, because I'm always missing NY. The atmosphere is very chill, they have lots of tvs for games, and very big bar as well. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Mike.

They have this NEAT puzzle game that has a little secret to maximize chances of winning. Find me ask for Jason and I'll explain it. Live music featuring hopping saxophone, bumping drums, riveting keyboards and my wife's favorite the thumping bass made for an amazing outing.

During the peak of the pandemic, I ordered once with a friend from this place, and it was so closed off, I didn't think much of it. The wings were good, but being where it was, I didn't expect to come often, so I hadn't thought of it again --- until I was about 5 minutes away one random Tuesday night and it somehow crossed my radar. I was meeting up with my best friend who was in town, and after our initial meetup spot, the night was still young and we found out that Wingo's had karaoke and all night specials! So we went on over, and I was shocked to see how big the place is. So we heard the singing upstairs, so we told the host we'd go on up there. And we took advantage of the $6 all night margarita special -- no food since I was already full. The bartender was extremely nice, and the karaoke was a blast! If I had anything to complain about, it'd be that the lyrics screen was facing away from the audience and that service got slow at times -- but it was one guy and the entire 2nd floor was full. I can't really blame him! I'd come back just for karaoke if I'm in the neighborhood. Otherwise it's a little far :)

Giving Wingo's a respectable 3* considering I only had experienced one flavor of their wings. A classic local wing bar in Grover Park that produces pretty standard wings. I can't say they are noticeably larger than traditional wings nor are they more unique flavor-wise. The wings don't necessarily stand out as more novel or unique than the next wing spot. They have a wide variety of heat levels and flavors to choose from which you'd expect from restaurant that features wings. On this occasion I purchased their Hot Garlic wings which were delicious. A very traditional atmosphere on the inside. Overall an OK experience. If I am in the area again I will stop by and try their tenders and sandwiches. Certainly worth your money to give them a shot.

I had chicken and waffles for the first time ever at this restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! The cozy atmosphere of the place might not be suitable for large groups, but it's perfect for a cute date night or a small friend get-together. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had a great experience and would recommend it for a casual outing!

One of the first spots we came to when I moved to DC, great wings, fun college town feel, and reasonable cocktails. The manager who always is there E is so kind. He always says hello and the rest of the staff is always so helpful. If you want a wings, a burger, and a tv to watch the game this is your spot.

good food! wings lemon pepper honey was very tasty with sweet flavor and mild was very mild. old bay seasoned fries were good crinkle cut and celery and carrot slices went well with the wings.

The absolute best. Where can you get apple pie ala mode delivered (on pi Day), tater skins, egg sammich, Cesar salad with tuna salad on top, wings, jalapeno poppers, and mint chip ice cream? Wingos.

My family has been patronizing Wingos for over 5 years. They have the BEST WINGS anywhere!!! Delivery is amazing!!! The onion rings are incredible!!! The wings, OMG, the wings!!! Perfection!!

I spent two weeks in D.C. and the poor staff had to deal with my drunk ass stumbling in every other night about 35 minutes before closing. I was staying close by, and Wingo's was my saviour many times after nights out drinking. We've all been there: passing is out on the horizon, but you just need MAYBE one more beer and some righteous food in your tummy. Wingo's was my solution. Not gonna lie: their child cheese dog with fries was cost-effective and generously portioned. They have a good selection of draft beer and the Kona Big Wave was my beer of choice. I thoroughly enjoyed my many drunken nights with the Georgetown pass out crowd. I know that they are famous for their wings, but I sadly never partook....next time I'm in D.C.

A year in and Wingo's still going strong. A lot of the executional issues that I had problems with have gotten fixed since my terrible first impression. My least favorite sauces are no longer as off putting, plus I think they're doing a better fry job on their wings, as even my sauced ones maintain a little bit of crispness when I bring my takeout home. Side note, I'm a sucker for boneless wings, and I do think they've been generous with the count, given the price. I'm still a little sad Wing Wednesdays never came back in full stride, but Wingo's instead is now my place on the strip to grab a beer, that also happens to have really good chicken. With a lot of the staples on this strip of Wisconsin closing, this might honestly be the most well-rounded package for food and drink to date here.

I ordered delivery for boneless wings. The delivery was extremely fast, however, my wings tasted a little dry and almost like they had been reheated rather than freshly made. There was a good amount of sauce though.

So Wingos was good and it was my go-to during the late night for delivery while I was in DC. Both times the food was fresh, fries were great and their combos come with a drink AND lemonade was an option (vs. just soda)--winning! I can't remember the exact flavors I ordered, but they were good. My only compliant and reason for the 3 stars is because during the second time ordering, I specifically asked for light sauce. In the first order, my wings were swimming in sauce and y'all know how I feel about that so I was intentional on telling them to "calm down" during my second purchase. Well that request was not heard AT ALL. I was extremely irritated as I removed my wings from the swimming pool of sauce; I DON'T DO SMOTHERED WINGS! Pork chops, beef tips, even chicken can be smothered, but NOT hot wings. Anyways, perhaps I'll try to dine in next time or follow up my order by calling and specifying (again) light sauce, since they didn't read my request through grub hub...or whoever I used that night. Overall, decent and affordable. When I'm back in DC and order again...and they get it right, I'll update my review.

Our lunch experience at Wingo's was nothing short of delightful, leaving us completely hooked on their amazing wings. Despite the distance from our place, the quality of their wings makes opting for delivery services worth it.

This place is so good, and has a super fun environment. There's even an arcade in the back!! We ordered drinks first. I had the mule and it was wonderful. I ordered the honey oldbay wings, omg they were amazing I wish I had ordered more. I also ordered the Crispy buffalo sandwich, I wish it was a little more saucy, but it was delicious. My friends ordered Mango Habanero wings and mumbo sauce wings, corndogs and breakfast sandwiches. This place was delicious.

Ordered in from here their wings Mumbo and garlic Parmesan. LOVED the Mumbo sauce it's probably my favorite version I've tried it. And honestly didn't love their garlic Parmesan (it's me not them) also got the potato skins 10/10!

Hmmm okay Wingo's is a place that I think the drink specials & service might out weigh the food? My partner and I went there Wednesday for their wine Wednesday's ($5 a glass). The special includes white wine, red wine, and PROSECCO . Definitely hard to find $5 a glass for Prosecco so this deal is pretty awesome. I attached a pic of their chalkboard as well for the rest of the deals of the week. Anyways our bartender was Mike and he was super helpful and kind so I give him a 5/5! Very funny and personable guy. The food was meh. We got the mild & mango habanero wings. The mild was the better of the two but neither of the sauces really gave me the satisfaction that I was looking for because the mild sauce was very thing & the habanero was so thick & sticky almost like a jelly? Bottom line is I will come back for their drinks & staff but next time I will eat dinner before hand!

Wingo's is truly the BEST wing spot in all over the DC area. This month marks 16 YEARS that Wingo's has served me with delicious wings and smiles everytime. My most recent order was the bacon cheez burger - that's RIGHT, I ordered a HAMBURGER from a wing spot... I inhaled it in 2 seconds flat. Salads are HUGE and always fresh ingredients. My fave wing flavours - mango hab / hot honey / garlic parm. Did you know they serve BREAKFAST too?! Their new JUMBO pretzel is legit and the beignets are SO AMAZING - get them with the raspberry sauce! Lastly, not to make you jelly but I got a really nice gift from Mike (owner) and it's SO special that I figured I'd share it with ya'll. Thanks so much, Mike! You're the BEST :-) Much LOVE*** ~ ain't no thing but a chicken wing! ~

I finally got a chance to stop at Wingo's and it definitely lived up to its hype! I'm a wings enthusiast and so finding a spot in our new neighborhood that has such a wide variety of wings flavors was soooo exciting! I ordered the garlic Parmesan and hot BBQ wings since they were both listed as bestsellers, which were both juicy and tasty! For people who love a little bit of heat, I would say that the hot BBQ was more on the mild side so feel free to go even higher on the heat chart! I also ordered the Hoya Burger, and was very pleasantly surprised by how amazing it tasted! This burger came with fresh avocados, lettuce, onion, pepper hack cheese, and bacon. It tasted so fresh and juicy, I'll have to get another one soon! We had placed an order online and so the food was ready immediately we showed up, all I had to do was give my name and the order was read out loud to confirm it! I'm excited to keep trying more wings flavors and get to other parts of the menu!

Ordered wings and drinks delivery. My order arrived in a timely manner. We ordered the suicidal and Lemmon pepper. The Lemmon pepper was delicious but at first it looked like they didn't have a lot of Lemmon pepper on the wings. It had all fallen off and the wing box was full of oil. Overall they were good just too much oil (see photo). As for the suicidal wings... those are no joke! They are super spicy. My family eats spicy food but mam were these wings FIRE! If you are looking for something spicy get the suicidal flavor. We ordered some Trully's & Loose Cannon IPA. Both is those didn't disappoint. Although I wish we could have picked what flavors we wanted for the Trully's. 20 wings, and two six packs came out to $70. Which included a $4 delivery fee and a tip. Overall I would order from here again.

Wingo's Glover Park - was an absolutely perfect way to start the #WingHunt in DC with Nikki Tric. Was recommended to try the #HotGarlic and the #Mombo. Which I did, and was impressed. The wings were crispy and flavorful. I asked for a side of their hottest sauce, #BiteMe. Their sauce was not just hot as hell, but actually tasted good. With that being said, they brought out some of their #Suicide flavored wings as a courtesy s because they are fans of Antonioisfly and as you can see by Nikki's reaction, those were up there in heat too. * @valeria_ryan_ (IG) was so friendly and helpful, and I want to give her a shout out for steering us in the right direction. *This place has 23 flavors I think, and I'm sure they would have all been awesome. This #Wingos is at 2218 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington, DC. Definitely recommend this place.

If you're craving some good old Classic all American wings and burgers. I loved the mango habanero sauce with the wings ...it's just the right amount of spicy. If you're looking for a classic burger Wingos always gets it done right! They always come with classic cut crispy fries.

Only rating on the food itself, as I had it delivered. An acquaintance apparently lives for Wingo's chicken-I had the boneless chicken nuggets with Wingo sauce, the mashed potatoes, and the beignets. I just found it all to be average, and had to remind myself that it's just fast food, which is really not my thing.

5 stars for a wonderful upgrade on a Georgetown wings tradition. One of the great parts about moving to Georgetown was being able to order wings for delivery from the Wingo's on O Street. When my wife and I heard that the store had burned down a few months ago, we were desperate to hear when it would reopen. While we are still waiting for the O Street location to rebuild, we heard that Wingo's was ready to open another location just up the street in Grover Park, so we decided to go check it out and see if it could live up to the Wingo's name. We arrived at the venue, which is located on Wisconsin in the aforementioned Grover Park next to the CVS, this past Saturday to grab a quick bite. While we had originally planned to just get the wings to go, we walked inside and found an awesome sports bar! The venue is large, clean and stacked with rows and rows of alcohol and televisions, as well as a second floor area for special events. Since the location is so new, the venue had a ton of wait staff running around ready to help and chat about the new location. We sat down at the bar and looked over the food and beer menus. It was Happy Hour when we arrived, which meant 2 dollars off all draft beer (which reduced it from a reasonable $7 down to a great $5). While it would have been easy for Wingo's to go with 4 or 5 standard beers, this venue has something like 10-15 different drafts, including some excellent seasonal options. These great beer options combined with the full bar and tvs has made this our new go-to casual sports bar in the Georgetown area. After ordering an Oktoberfest beer, we put in an order for some wings. I'm a big fan of the Golden BBQ wings (although they went a tad heavy on the mustard in the sauce mixture this time) while my wife loves the spicy wings. Our wings came out in about 10 minutes and tasted hot and fresh. While the smallest option is a little more expensive than the former Wingo's smallest option, said option also came with something like 12 wings, so we definitely got our money's worth. Overall, the new Grover Park/North Georgetown Wingo's took an excellent product and built a fantastic sports bar around it. The awesome atmosphere combines with the solid wings to make for a Buffalo Wild Wings-level experience with the hometown Wingo's quality.

I saw someone post wings on Twitter and suddenly I HAD to have some. I googled where to get wing's in DC and ordered some classic buffalo from Wingo's. They arrived super quickly and they HIT. THE. SPOT. I love the option to get all flats, they were coated in sauce and I had blue cheese on the size. I will definitely be returning for more wings in the future!

Honestly, I don't know why this place is rated so high except for the fact that DC has very few, if any at all, great wing spots. I have tried this place twice now and the flavors just aren't there. Both times my wings were a tad mushy instead of nice and crisp. The hot sauce isn't hot or flavorful and the old bay leaves much to be desired. I will continue on my hunt of a great wing spot here in the District.

Wingo's saved the Super Bowl! ordered from our local place, Wingo's Glover Park, online after 5:30 pm. even though they were packed, order was followed through promptly. wings were pretty good and extremely comparable price to BBW. I would rely on Wingo's for consistent service and good eats.

After wanting to try this place for so long, I finally had lemon pepper wings and a steak cheese. This food gave me the runs and made me throw up everything I ate. I am sorry....I usually don't leave reviews but your food got me sick.

This is my wing "go to" spot! The prices are fair, drinks pretty good and the atmosphere is cool. My only gripes are the fact that it's hit or miss with which type of service you'll receive. Some staff are consistently friendly, helpful and accommodating. Then there's the few that don't have a hospitable bone in their body. My second issue is with the cheap condiments. How can this spot serve some of the best, made to order wings in the area but serve them with some cheap low grade salad dressings. Ledo's wings are not better but I frequent Ledo's merely because of their dressings that accompany their wings.

This place is awesome and Duoya is one of the friendliest bartenders in DC. This place has reasonably-priced food and drinks, but more importantly is amazing.

I decided to tag along with my husband and his friends for their fantasy NFL draft. They been here before and where saying how good the wings are. They're very good, my husband got the hot and garlic and seasoned fries. Here is how our night went: We ordered hot and garlic wings, lemon pepper honey wings, Mac and cheese with no scallions, and seasoned fries. Here is what I got: hot and garlic wings, Mac and cheese with scallions and unseasoned fries. I called them over and told them I didn't want scallions and the waitress said " I didn't hear you" so they went to get me a "new" one, the new one still had scallions inside I guess they missed some when getting me a new one. Lol. Then I waited and waited for my lemon pepper honey wings but when we asked the waitress she said we did not order this and kept going back and forth with us. I guessed we ordered in our minds. At the end of it I never got my lemon pepper honey wings. When we said we had asked for seasoned fries she again said she didn't hear us and then came back and said they were out of stock and just put old bay on top of our fries. My husbands friend ordered a strawberry mojito and got a regular mojito instead, he still drank it but later on we ordered 4 strawberry mojitos but they were again "out of stock". My husband and his friends said they've never had this type of service here, I wouldn't know because it was my first time. Overall the food was good but the service lacked big time.

Haven't been to DC in weeks but it wouldn't be right if I didn't stop by my favorite wing spot to get some lemon pepper wings and a strawberry funnel cake, YUM! If you don't know you'd better get hip, tell the owner, Stiletto Stoner sent you!! Enjoy!!!

First time ordered from this new location. Still obsessed with Wingos. Super excited they'll deliver to us with Caviar. Ordered from here two days in a row because #obsessed. Got my fave garlic parmesan both days and the gist day I also got honey bbq. I remember making a comment a free years back at the old location about how the garlic parmesan was very greasy. I'd like to think that they listened because the amount of grease this time was significantly less with a good balance of parmesan to oil. Just perfect. Fries first day were okay. Second day, somehow, much better. I'd love to go in person since now it appears to be a full blown restaurant. Until then I'll continue to order to-go

My favorite wing spot in DC! Wingo's made such an excellent choice for dinner during college. It was great because they deliver and have combo meals with wings, fries and a drink (not the healthiest, but it was great for the soul). My favorite has been the buffalo/hot wings and Parmesan garlic wings. Wow the flavors are so amazing and didn't get tired of them at all! If you are craving some wings and want them delivered to your home, this is a go to spot!

I went to Wingos on Glover Park Main Street pub crawl night on July 8th. Wingos had the best live band - three guitar players, one lead singer and one drummer. The band did a great job. It played throughout the night unlike other establishments where the live performers did not play at all. I hope Wingos will invite that band back.

This establishment sucks! The wings are trash and the customer service is an abhorrent. The Korean fellow that helped me must be a mime, he nods to answer questions and does not verbalize any response.
