Best International Restaurants in Ferndale, Michigan - Eater Detroit

"Even before the pandemic, Wing’s Garden was a popular spot for takeout. This bustling restaurant, just across the Ferndale border, is typical of old-school Chinese-American restaurants: the menu is extensive; service is fairly fast; and combo plates come with an entree, choice of fried rice and an egg or spring roll. Portions are large and sizable enough for parties of two or four. Entrees are flavorful enough that you may skip the extra soy sauce." - Monica Williams

Google
Pretty good. I got the Sweet n Sour Chicken meal added shrimp fried rice that a $2.50 upgrade. The shrimp are large size worth the price but the rice itself isn’t all that flavorful but the chicken makes up for it and it’s all white meat.

Dana Maclin

Google
I ordered sesame seed chicken the chicken was fried just a little bit too hard and it was a little salty for my taste. The rice on the other hand was very good and the gravy was OK. Eggroll was good.and I ask for spicy and it wasn’t it was my first time eating here do I think I will go back no sorry

Google
Excellent egg roll. Chicken brocolli was seasoned well, veggies were firm, cooked well. Egg drop soup was middling. Staff is ignorant and struggles with basic questions, come in with a prepared order. Not a sit down spot, at all, nasty interior.

Google
I was a faithful customer for many years at this Chinese food restaurant. I recently went there and the food does not taste the same. I ordered three dollars worth of extra shrimp in my short fried rice and I got a total of four shrimp and the flavor is just not there. I will be looking for a new Chinese food restaurant. And I came from Warren to get Chinese food here that won’t happen again.

Google
Food is always hot and fresh! The shrimp egg fo young and shrimp fried rice are my favorite. Love the thick brown gravy

Google
Food has been great since I was a kid!!! I love the fried rice with any side of protein, always hot and fresh food!!

Google
At one point in time this used to be the best Chinese food in Metro Detroit. Lately the food has not been that great. At this time it was exceptionally bad! It was very soggy and dry. It was the worst Chinese food I had a long time. I don't know what happened to this place but it fell off very very bad I would never step foot in this place again.

Google
This was the best Chinese restaurant in Metro Detroit until change in management. Food doesn't taste the same. Shrimp fried rice is dry and lacks flavor. First I thought it was me, so I continued to go back to give it a chance. Today my shrimp fried rice had 6 shrimp on top and nothing in the mixture. I guess it's time to find a new restaurant.

Yelp
Very good. Living in Las Vegas now and had a taste for Almond Boneless Chicken. It fit the bill perfectly.

Yelp
First time visit. Placed order and picked up food. Very large portions, the flavor and taste was perfect for me. Pricing was on par for what I pay anywhere else. I really enjoyed my food. The service was fast and quick. The interior was ok, I guess they've closed the inside dinning. So nothing special about the inside. Check it out if you want some good Chinese food. Worth the time ...

Yelp
I've been going here since I was a kid for the last 25 something years. This resturant has been amazing when they still had resturant open for sit down services, even during the pandemic and the food the quality was amazing and constantly. But now that has changed since the new management has taken over. The food quality taste really cheap for the prices they're charging which had went up triple than other place in the area. The food is very bland and would've been better for me to simply made it at home or bought from one of the many food establishments in the area. This isn't the same resturant anymore with the new owners. I highly recommend recommend eating from an another resturant.

John O.

Yelp
Dude, the inside is dirty as dirty gets. Cool building on outside, but inside made me not want to eat my food.

Charles B.

Yelp
Horrible for sesame chicken is frozen chicken nuggets too doughy, shrimp fried rice was dry and the shrimp were over cooked Absolutely horrible food Sincerely Chef Charles

Yelp
Great spot! I have been going to this spot since it was Fung Lim. Orders are always correct and food is fresh. The ambiance is not great but that's ok. I don't dine in. This will always be one of my favorite Chinese food spots.

Ms D.

Yelp
FOOD IS NOT GOOD since they sold it back in AUGUST 2024 All fried rice is BLAND like eating white rice and the man at the front is definitely going to be the DOWNFALL due to his rudeness mind you we've been going here since 2001
google avatar

Yelp
Wing's Gardens appears to be takeout only nowadays. But, the food is worth the trip. Their General Tso's chicken is the best in this area. However, if you really want it hot, you have to stress that you don't have a typical Oakland County palette... you know what I'm saying.

Yelp
Being out of the Chinese food loop in Detroit for the last 8 years The Lady suggested this place on a COLD December evening. OMGoodness this place hits the spot. I had the almond chicken/sweet & sour chicken dinner with shrimp fried rice. Yup this is the go to for Chinese food while home in Detroit going forward. Added bonus it's 10 mins from the house.

Michelle D.

Yelp
In the middle of remodel, only carry out .almond chicken had no flavor which was odd when I eat there that's all I order

Yelp
Growing up in Detroit, my family dined out a lot. My mother loves Chinese food, so over the years I have visited several Chinese restaurants in the city and suburban neighborhoods in SE Michigan. Wing's is typical of the old school restaurants I'm accustomed to. Unfortunately, many of the newer neighborhood restaurants lack authentic flavor and quality of food. Wing's has managed to stay true to good customer service, a comfortable dining room and tasty Chinese takeout. The menu is huge and offers all of the typical Chinese-American fair from crab Rangoon, egg drop soup, to popular combination plates served with your choice of main entree, choice of fried rice and an egg/spring roll. One of my favorites, which I ordered again yesterday is the lemon chicken. The strips of chicken breast are expertly fried and slathered in a sweet and sour sauce topped with fresh lemon. The combination is served with fried rice, I opted for pork fried rice which is so flavorful, I hardly use soy sauce. The combination meals are served with a roll. As a bread lover, I have always loved the distinct taste of rolls from Chinese-American restaurants. There's plenty of parking in the lot and on the street. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood on a more sleepy part of Nine Mile Road. It's good for lunch alone, with a friend; or date and families.

Yelp
I can't believe I've never reviewed this restaurant. I've been here many times over several years, and the food has been good each time. The portions are huge so you'll never be without a second or even a third meal. I've had many dishes such as sweet and sour chicken, almond chicken, sesame chicken, egg foo young and the list goes on. Wing's Gardens is a solid go to for Chinese food.

Yelp
After hearing and reading so many great reviews about this restaurant; I was super pumped to finally try the food. I've been twice so far. And I had been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for years now; after I moved to Sterling Heights. But I hadn't been impressed with the restaurants I tried over here. The first time dining here; I thought the food was good. I ordered the Almond Chicken combination with Shrimp Fried Rice lunch special. I decided to try the restaurant again; and the second time around was really really good! I ordered the Sesame Chicken with regular Fried Rice. If I'm back in the area; I will dine in again at this restaurant.

Yelp
The food is decent here. I have eaten their General tso, sesame chicken and almond chicken. I did like that they had warm billowy Hawaiian bread, slightly sweet and such carby goodness. I think most people get carry out here. I was here around dinner time on a Thursday and was the only person seated inside. They did have a lot of carry outs while I was there. Their food is good for a standard American Chinese restaurant, which isn't my usual first style of Chinese food. Usually go for Sichuan but it's good for something more comfortable and less spicy than Sichuan, reasonably priced and quick.
google avatar

Andrey T.

Yelp
Carry out only; dumpy dining room never reopened post-covid. Food is old school, which is a good thing. Tasty, but lots of corners cut. Namely plum sauce is store bought clear stuff, purchased by the gallon. Full and elaborate menu. Some dishes done old school, some not. Hot and sour soup is old school. Very good. Mu shu pancakes authentic. Egg rolls just ok. Fried shrimp are 95% batter. Almost no actual shrimp. Always super busy and poorly managed. As bad as this review reads, the food is decent.

Yelp
food is BANGING! service is fast! idk what else to say, it's really good food lol i don't remember if they take apple pay or not but they're also really nice here too

Yelp
I've been going to this restaurant for years!!! And it's my favorite Chinese food joint. I've tried many other places but none compare to Wings Garden. They are always busy but they prepare the food soo fast!! I would definitely recommend at least trying it. I have a few favorite dishes here. Wings wwon't disappoint

Yelp
Regular Customer or not, we're just a #, no Customer Service We've been regular customers for years and yes the food is good. Picked up 3 carry out combo dinners. They told us 15 minutes so my daughter went. They couldn't find our order and she waited 50 minutes! Got home and the sauce for my Sweet and Sour Chicken was very off. Had another person taste it and he agreed so I did not eat dinner. Also his egg roll was missing from his combo. I decided they must be packed and have extra compassion for businesses during COVID so I decided not to bother them but to call the next day. Well, they were closed so I called the day after and had saved everything. The owner could care less. Hubby & I were prepared to exchange the meal & order him another paid meal. I told her my reason for waiting and how we order from them regularly and she could care less. Told me that day only. So much for trying to be considerate.

Yelp
Over the time of COVID, their business has remained very brisk as a 'pick up' spot. I ordered their wonderful standard fair: sesame chicken, or generals etc. not recalling and decided to order a side of vegetables. Incredible! Too many local Chinese restaurants provide vegetables like toss-off 'after-thought' but Wing's Gardens vegetable as a side or plate is Great! Perfect light, white sauce, quality, green, not-overcooked vegetables, including pea pods, firm broccoli (not wilted), etc. Re-heats well for left overs. I'm thinking the areas demand for veggie options influences the high veggie standards here at Wing's. I dunno, but I am a huge fan. Main course standards great too. Rice high quality, plain or fried. Their chicken comes in nice sections - not those 'knotted' up pieces too many Chinese restaurants serve. Portions are large! Don't forget to try Wing's Gardens vegetable offerings as a side or complete meal. Awesome!

Yelp
We ordered the dinner for 2 and it was good. I thought the egg drop soup was particularly good. The fried rice that came with the meal was good, as were the egg rolls. The chicken dishes we got were fine but could have used more spice. Overall very happy with our dinner.

Yelp
Upon entrance, there are 4 people waiting. No one at the front counter to greet or seat or anything. The employee comes out of the back with several orders, so that's a good sign I guess. The parking lot is packed. This seems like a place for takeout only. There were two people dining inside. The interior smelled old. We ordered the Family dinner for two which consisted of selecting two entrees from a pre-selected list of about 12-14 meals. It came with two eggs rolls, soup (wonton or egg drop), plain fried rice, and rolls (?) for about $20. The two entrees we selected were Szechuan chicken and Szechuan shrimp. The portions were vast. You could definitely order one meal and split for two for any average eater or even a bit more than average. I could split my meal into 3 where as my husband 2. It was good. Nothing spectacular. When I ate my leftovers the next day, I got a stomachache. I'm not sure why the ratings are as high as they are. Maybe because of the amount of food you get for the cost. But I'd rather quality vs. quantity. Honestly, not a place I'd go back to or recommend.
google avatar

Michele M.

Yelp
I really enjoy the food here, however they forget something that I ordered and paid for EVERY TIME. When you call to let them know you're missing part of your order, they treat you like you're lying. If I ate my food and didn't pay I would be stealing, however they fail to give you food you paid for repeatedly- which results in wasted time, gas, and energy. I made the mistake once of agreeing to have them replace my missing items the next time I got carry out- they acted like I was lying when I asked for my missing items from my previous order. I highly recommend that you check your entire order for accuracy before you leave. The customer service is terrible, food is fine if you manage to get what you paid for.

Yelp
They didn't give any gravy with the egg foo young. My husband called back and they asked him to send a picture. He sent the picture and the lady told him it's there you just can't see it. It was so dry I couldn't eat it.
google avatar

Lex N.

Yelp
It's typically pretty decent. It's fresh because it stays busy. Quick pickup spot. Food is usually ready in 10/15 minutes. However I was extremely disappointed in the Mushu. They sent flour tortillas as a substitute for the pancakes (horrible combination) and the lady was giggling when I called about it. Told me to bring it back for a refund. Which wasn't an option for me at the time. Offered a 10% discount on my next order and wrote my first name (which just doesn't sound promising) I really loved this place a few months ago, but I think something has changed. Could be the chef or management. Can't tell, but it just has not been consistent for the past few months and the food is different than it was before. Bummer.

Yelp
Great hidden gem right off of 9 mile. Technically right in Oak Park at the far edge of Ferndale for those trying to find it! This place looks like your run of the mill Chinese restaurant from the outside but don't be fooled! I highly recommend this spot as the food is delicious and sure to please! First off, the portions are INSANE so this really is a good option for those would want to split an entree and/or a family going out. We got the Dinner For Two Family Dinner special which comes with a choice of entree per person, chicken friend rice, 2 egg rolls and choice of egg drop or wonton soup. We also ordered the steamed dumplings as an appetizer which were delicious and I highly recommend! TIP: A family or group of 4 will still have PLENTY of leftovers of entree and rice so this might be a good bet! The service is quick so if you're placing a carry out be warned! It'll be ready within 10 minutes. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the rice we had was a bit dried out but I still highly recommend as the service is good, food is delicious at a fair price, and the portions are HUGE!

Yelp
I haven't been since COVID but this place was Awesome with large servings I have taken out of town guest and they couldn't wait to go again I really Enjoyed dining in and carry out service!!

Yelp
I had a day at the zoo and was hungry. I am familiar with "downtown" Royal Oak, but I was looking for something different. I chose Wing's Gardens because of the stellar reviews. I was surprised that I was seated right away because the parking area was busy. The restaurant does a good carry out business. I was also greeted by the waitress who took my drink order. I chose General Chicken with Egg Drop soup. The soup was delivered promptly and it was very hot. And tasty. However, the rest of my meal was extremely disappointing. The dish was delivered only lukewarm. The restaurant used the same chicken for General Chicken as the Sweet & Sour. I was very disappointed. The chicken was over cooked and hard. There was also only a few pieces of cold, steamed broccoli. I didn't receive an offer of dessert. Not even a fortune cookie. I will try a different place next time.
google avatar

Tom R.

Yelp
Meh. If there wasn't a suggestion for a review, I would have completely forgotten I went there. The portions are huge, so if you want to get your eat on, this is the place. A friend told me to get the General Tso extra crispy so it won't be soggy when I got home. Good call.
google avatar

Shunda B.

Yelp
You know what? Don't be fooled by the look of this place on the outside because the food on the inside is good and you get a ton. My friend and I dine in - basically we should've just ordered one meal because it was able to feed us both. If you come during lunch - I believe you can save about $2 or $3 on the same meal. The waitress was very attentive and very pleasant; she made sure to clear our tables as we were getting done with the food. Happy eating!!!
google avatar

Brian P.

Yelp
The food is awesome and the portions are huge when compared to the price. The only problem is that they don't have enough people on staff, so it is one woman answering the phones, waiting tables and taking orders. If you reach them by phone, orders are generally ready in 10-15 minutes, which is awesome. My favorite menu items are the almond chicken and the pork fried rice. NOTE: They are closed on Mondays.
google avatar

LaTonya B.

Yelp
Excellent!!!! First time trying them today for lunch. Food taste very fresh. The shrimp egg foo young was delicious and the shrimp fried rice was fresh.
google avatar

Trai W.

Yelp
So I decided to give this place a try today. I was craving won ton soup. I ordered shrimp fried rice, soup, and egg roll. I paid $2.50 extra for pepper steak gravy. Food was great and flavorful. Shrimp were a decent size free of that little gross tail some places leave on. The restaurant is very cozy and family friendly. Affordable as well.

Yelp
I lived within walking distance of two Chinatowns (DC and Chicago) and yet could never find that perfect "crappy, but so so good" Chinese like the kind I used to get in Michigan. Now I'm back and after a miss at another spot (the only one open on the Monday we moved in), the husband and I stumbled upon Wing's Gardens. Even the name is perfect. To start, Chinese is something we order maybe twice a year tops. When I was super fat about ten years ago, I probably had it once every other week. I say this because it's a miracle that we even tried another place so soon after our disappointing experience just a few weeks ago. Anyway, I'm glad we did because this place had the kind of sesame chicken that you think about for days. Not in that "oh man what did I just do?" Kinda way, but more like a "wow, I can't wait for six months to go by just so I can order that again" way. It was crispy, yet moist, and to my great relief, I didn't see any of those questionable pieces that are the wrong kind of pink that you kind of just eat around. Nope. There's some real cooking going on here. My husband ordered General Tso's which was equally delicious. One order is seriously enough for two people to split. I say that as someone who never takes home leftovers. We got ours with white rice, brown is not an option, and two egg rolls. I love egg rolls so much it's what I named our pug. These did not disappoint. Crunchy, not too salty, and still warm even after the 10 minute drive home. No delivery, but the drive is worth it. So happy to have finally found my biannual Chinese takeout spot.

Gar P.

Yelp
we usually have had relatively good service from this restaurant... And on occasion, it was a little shaky during Covid... But I gave every restaurant a pass during Covid... Went up there Christmas Eve had an order... General Taos, chicken, and sweet-and-sour chicken... Nothing complex got home no sauce for the sweet-and-sour chicken... Call them up we could come and pick up the sauce they could remake it or they would give me a 10% discount on my next order... So one meal gets to get cold while they make a new meal or both meals get cold why go get the sauce ... Or we just go without the sauce... Which shocked me was the lack of any understanding of my time or the inconvenience they were putting me through... So if you eat there or order out, make sure you check in the bag that your whole order is there... Because if not, they're not gonna do anything for you
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
Consistently good food in very large quantity. Love the szechuan beef, chicken, and shrimp. Generals chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and beef with broccoli is awesome. Best egg rolls around with real plum sauce!!!! Dinner for three or four is amazing value and feeds at least 6!
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
I didn't really like Wing's Gardens at all. I thought it was really disappointing and it was not very good overall. First, I ordered a coke and there weren't free refills. Who does that? Second, I ordered the szechuan chicken. I asked for a medium level of spice and it was completely mild. It tasted as if it wasn't even prepared szechuan style. Third, the service was not very attentive and it took a while for us to order and for her to ask if everything is ok. Fourth, the ambiance was not very nice. The walls were bare and it didn't even seem very clean. Fifth, it was pretty smokey. I guess this won't be a problem soon, but it was still annoying. Alas, this was just a Chinese restaurant with all your typical Chinese fair. It was not anything special and there were many disappointments. I wouldn't go back.

Yelp
So this is now my go to Chinese restaurant since my first review for this place. It was a lazy night and didn't feel like cooking so we got Chinese. We stuck with the traditional american favorites. Sesame chicken dinner, garlic ribs, and vegetable egg foo young. I have personally never been disappointed with a meal here. Nor have i ever felt like they have had an off night. They are consistent with their quality and customer service. Always very nice, never rude and pushy like some establishments I have been to. I believe their packed parking lot will support my statements. Lets get back to the food. This is the first time I had their Sesame chicken. And to my surprise it had onions mixed in it. Shocking, i know lol. Never heard of onions with sesame chicken but after this, I dnt know why everybody else isnt following their lead. It was so good that I would honestly order onions covered in their sesame sauce. The chicken is all white meat which is a huge plus because im not a fan of dark meat. The ribs in garlic sauce is another winner in my book. If you can get pass the little bones since they use rib tips it is really an amazing dish. The sauce is very tasty over white rice. The green peppers and onions are a nice touch to the dish. The egg foo young is also very good. I love the yeast rolls they give out with each order. They are just little sponges to help soak up all the saucy goodness, because who is counting calories. This isnt upscale fare and you shouldn't expect that from them. Its like your typical strip mall americanized Chinese restaurant, just a little better tasting than most. If your looking for good and fulling Chinese food this is your place.

Yelp
Don't judge a book by its cover! Constancy and great portion sizes makes this one of my go to places for inexpensive Chinese food!

Yelp
On my continuing search to find amazing Chinese food in the metro Detroit area this is the best thus far. I am giving it four stars but part of the higher rating may in fact be due to relief in comparison to what I've had in the area (with the exception of Windsor, though going to another country for Chinese is a bit much unless already there for another reason). We had take out and based on the other reviews planned for huge portions. I called the order in advance. I could not find a menu on line, which I found annoying, and had to guess on the order. Now that I have a take out menu next time it will be easier. They told me fifteen minutes and when I arrived it was! They were fairly busy, the parking lot was full and I had to park on the side street. Inside was not anything special but nothing I saw would make me concerned about eating in. Based on the small amount of interaction I had in picking up the order the staff I encountered was friendly. What we tried was good, with the exception of the egg roll that came with. It was just bad. I am also guessing that it came frozen in bulk and was fried in the restaurant. Not worth bothering with. I was impressed with the sesame chicken. It had a good ratio of breading to chicken and was lightly fried, it was not overly sauced either. The meal also came with store-bought dinner rolls. This also occurs at other Detroit-area Chinese restaurants and I find it very odd. They are not Chinese, not even part of Chinese-American food. And it is only in this area. I'm kinda curious about this strange add on....

Yelp
I've been here on several occasions for dine in and carry out. The food is good...but you can get good food at lots of places with service to match. This place has taken a steep decline in service. When asked for an extra side of sauce, the cashiers response was "It's on there". That's not what I asked. Then I repeated I'd like and extra side of sauce and she responds "$2.65". I then waited 10 minutes for the side of sauce. When I asked her how much longer it would be (as she was sitting there doing nothing) she told me "I don't know, depends on how long it takes them to cook it". When she could have easily said she could check for me. Service 101!!! The short haired lady with glasses was rude to everyone! Not sure if she was having a bad day, but when people patronize at least show some common courtesy. Otherwise....maybe you should be working in the back and not interacting with customers. It'll be a while before I go back....if I ever go back!

Richard M.

Yelp
My wife and I love this place, but yesterday I ordered the Mongolian Chicken combo meal. What I got was NOT Mongolian Chicken, but rather more akin to Hunan Chicken without any kick to it. Very disappointing. Mongolian Chicken is supposed to be breaded and fried and coated with a spicy, ginger, brown-sugar glaze. This wasn't.
google avatar

Sam K.

Yelp
So if volume is more important to you then you'll love this place - a take out entree has like 5 meals in it. I got the general tso chicken and the sesame chicken after hearing good reviews. I asked for them to be "extra spicy" I found neither to be particularly tasty and profoundly similar in taste and appearance. I wasn't really that impressed. Neither was spicy. I will likely not return. It's a lot of food though so if you like your standard Americanized Chinese fare (think, whatever Chinese entree item you might find in a Kroger deli or something) and you want a lot of food for your buck this is your place. Maybe I haven't tried enough food here but after the rave reviews for these two dishes, I figured this was the best there was to get and I didn't love it.

Yelp
(1 out of 5) STARS REVIEW: Shrimp & Vegetable mix Egg Foo Young (* * *) ~I didn't like the kind of sauce mix (like gravy sauce for mashed potatoes) they put over. I like the original dark flavorful sauce mix used for this dish. Sweet & Sour Pork (* *) ~Sauce was too sweet and didn't have that tangy kick to it. Seafood & Bean Curd Soup (* * * * *) ~Exactly made to perfection. Overall customer service and dining experience ~The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs without having to alert them (ex. drink refills) for anything.

Yelp
This was pretty good. Now, I don't know if anyone can eat portions of most Chinese or Thai places but we never. We shared the almond boneless chicken with rice and an egg roll, and a dinner roll (combo), crab rangoon and I ordered a spring roll. I really enjoyed the spring roll and I can be picky about them. My husband got too full and neither my son and I like egg rolls so unfortunately, nobody can comment. The crab rangoon was excellent, but how could it not be! I have definitely had some nasty crab rangoon but it's fried wonton stuffed with cream cheese and crab so...my boys are really picky and really only want cheeseburgers and grilled cheese so the fact that they both liked it pretty well was impressive.

Yelp
Very Good Chinese Food. We've found this to be one of the best real repeat real Chinese food. We drive from Detroit to OakPark it is worth the drive. Highly recommended. Pleasant people that work there.

Kibwe T.

Yelp
Been going here for probably a decade. Never had better take out Chinese from anywhere else. Portions are way better than most other places. Real bang for your buck. #17 beef and broccoli all day.

Yelp
Best Chinese food around..very sizable plates and REAL egg roll sauce..not that duck sauce stuff..if you have a whole family to feed, getting a few plates and splitting them up is the idea..great tasting food !!!! Lifetime customer

Yelp
Uggg. Went looking for a replacement for Tai Fai since they have been progressively gone down hill. So I tried here since it's 4 stars. Worst fried rice I ever ate. Seriously. Tasted like uncle Bens with rice smothered in soya. Sesame chicken was edible but nothing to have a second time. Egg roll was dry and also tasteless. And they threw in a bun or roll. Did u ever have hot lunch as a kid? Well let me tell u that those crappy rolls they served you in grade school hot lunch was the exact same roll, only it had butter on it. Disgusting. And WHY in the heck would they serve that with Chinese or Thai food anyhow? All those ppl rating this place with four stars must love processed and "American Chinese fast food". Ick.
