Very nice restaurant in the center of Schaffhausen. It was our first time and we will go again. The food is very well prepared and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and competent. The building is of historical importance. I can highly recommend.

Really nice restaurant with an excellent service, nice atmosphere and good dishes. They have a wide wines selection to perfectly wine-pairing. Waiters/waitress really professional. Really good choice in the heart of Schaffhausen. Deserves the price.

Amazing choices that make it so that everyone can find something that will suit them. Every dish was very good. The service was equally good with the waiters being a lot of fun and amicable. A very nice restaurant close to the town square, definitely worth stopping by and eating there.

Been there twice during my week-end trip! Clearly the best place to eat in Schaffhausen. The first floor is specially reserved for authentic cheese fondue, amazingly local. Jump to the second floor and you’ll have a nice gastronomic like food and menu ! nit low budget but defiantly worth it ! Tarte tarin and ice cream was amazing!

Excellent, delicious food, with delicate touches. The complementary starter, gazpacho soup, was a nice surprise, keeping the simplicity of the Spanish dish with all its flavors. The grilled avocado starter with shrimps was amazing. The salmon in basil crust with citric tasting quinoa was very nicely done. The crème brûlée with absinthe was one of the best I’ve had. The portions are of good sizes, considering the Michelin standing of the restaurant. The prices might be on the higher end in town but would be cheaper than many average places in Zurich. The service is professional and friendly. The ambience excellent in a cosy garden. At the gastronomic level, the place is great for people looking for food prepared with a creative touch, but tend to dislike the over preparation of the food served in higher gourmet restaurants. All in all, I enjoyed the visit and recommend the place.

Excellent food, excellent service. Place is nice and so is ambience. Ground floor definitely adequate for couples or small groups. Prices are Swiss. Yes, you are in Switzerland. Yet well deserved here.

My favorite spot in Schaffhausen. Always excellent and the specials are always unique. Wine list is wonderful with lots of great local and European options. The staff and ownerships are great people as well. A must go!!!!!

We were brought here by one of the managers of the company we were working with in Switzerland. Very beautiful old home converted into a restaurant. The food was excellent, as well as the service. We had a wonderful time, and everyone was very happy with their meal. The small jar of red pepper soup served between courses was one of my favorites.

Very good small restaurant in the old towncenter of Schaffhausen with a fantastic historic wine-restaurant on the ground floor and the main restaurant on the first floor. As soon as the weather is nice and warm enough, you can enjoy your drinks and food in the garden behind the house in the shadow of the old vines. Oldest restaurant in Schaffhausen

We had a wonderful dinner here last night that was a culinary delight from beginning to end. The local wine that was recommended by our server was perfect. The service was top notch! Our server was very helpful and extremely patience I might add, in trying to translate to us the German menu. After dinner we were offered a tour of the restaurant by the owner which topped off the evening.
