Wirtshaus Mättle

We discovered this restaurant through the Michelin guide and decided to try it for a special birthday dinner. They served a wonderfully fluffy butter and sourdough bread as a starter, and it was absolutely delightful. For appetizers, we tried the beet soup and goat cheese salad. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. However, the goat cheese salad didn’t include bacon and corn as listed on the menu but was instead a tasty purslane salad. For mains, we had veal liver and duck. Both were flavorful, though the duck portion was quite small despite its reasonable price. We placed the celebration candle on raspberry ice cream, which was incredibly delicious. Alongside the meal, we enjoyed a glass of red wine each and sparkling house wine with dessert. The total cost came to €128. The service was good, and the staff were attentive. Overall, it was a memorable and pleasant experience.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a wonderful dinner at Mattle, and we absolutely loved it. We used a QoQa voucher for a four-course surprise menu. The evening started with two delicious appetizers: a dried meat salad and shrimp served over polenta. For the main course, we enjoyed a perfectly cooked beef steak, and we ended the meal with a delightful pineapple, coconut, and chocolate dessert. I completely forgot to take any pictures — a clear sign that I was enjoying my dinner.

Nicht schlecht, aber hat uns nicht vom hocker gehauen. Portionen waren gut, hatten kein Platz für desert!

Heute hatte unsere Wandergruppe das Weihnachtsessen im Wirtshaus Mättle. Wir haben alle das 4- Gang-Menü bestellt und es war von A bis Z ein genussreiches und geschmackreiches Essen. Die Weinkarte lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Bedienung war freundlich und sehr kompetent. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und die Akustik lässt eine Unterhaltung locker zu. Letzlich war auch das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Wir werden sicher wieder an diesem schönen Ort einkehren.

Belle découverte. La carte est petite et tout est frais et le plus local possible. Les plats sont originaux et de saison. La salle est sobre et l'ambiance agréable. Bon choix de vin. In diesem Restaurant in Lörrach findet man eine exquisite und frische Küche in einer lebendigen Brasserie-Atmosphäre. Die Gerichte sind raffiniert und aus hochwertigen regionalen und internationalen Zutaten zubereitet. Das Ambiente ist einladend und verbindet Eleganz mit Lebhaftigkeit. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, obwohl es zu Stoßzeiten etwas länger dauern kann. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen und die Gesamterfahrung ist erstklassig. Ein Muss für Genießer und besondere Anlässe.

Gebucht war ein Essen für eine Firmenfeier. Das Essen war in Ordnung, wenn auch ein bisschen wenig, sodass mehr bestellt werden musste. Der Service war nicht so aufmerksam wie im anderen Restaurant bereits. Das Ambiente im gesamten war angenehm, die Räumlichkeiten sind schön ausgeschmückt.
