A Beloved Baltimore Scoop Shop Busts Into D.C. — And More Openings | Eater DC

"In Dupont Circle the all-day pie spot serves New York–style pizzas built with California tomatoes, Wisconsin cheese, virgin olive oil, and Parmigiano‑Reggiano, with offbeat toppings like Korean chicken and paneer tikka; pies are available by the slice or as large 18‑inch whole pies (and gluten-free 10‑inch options such as truffled mushroom), and the small eight-seat interior is complemented by a 30‑seat patio while weekend hours extend to 3 a.m." - Tierney Plumb

Where to Find the Best Hangover Food in D.C. | Eater DC

"The Dish: Garlic knots Simultaneously crusty, chewy, buttery, and choc-full of garlic, these knots are some of city’s finest. Wiseguy’s slices make acceptable hangover food as well." - Kalina Newman

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently visited Wiseguys Pizza and had an incredible experience, thanks to Ahmad and Kayla! From the moment I walked in, their customer service was absolutely out of this world. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and made me feel right at home. Not only was the pizza delicious, but the friendly atmosphere created by Ahmad and Kayla really made my first visit special. I genuinely appreciate the superb service and attention to detail. You guys really rock! I can’t wait to come back for more amazing food and fantastic hospitality. Thank you!

I was in the area and stopped by for a quick lunch. My favorite is their Supreme pie. Wiseguy is the best!

UPDATE: ordered again tonight to give them another try. they delivered someone else's order completely. this will be my last time ordering from them because they can NOT get it right. on top of that, the pizza was undercooked (complete opposite of last time) it's clear they need to work on quality control across the board. my second time ordering here and the pizza was so burnt i couldn't eat it. shocked it even left the kitchen-straight into the garbage.

The mushroom truffle pizza was really good! Friendly service and space was clean and cozy but had limited seats inside in case it rains.

The pizzas arrived cold and the marinara sauce was missing for the pepperoni rollers. So, I called their customer service. They said in verbatim “We don’t take responsibilities for the temperature and the missing since. We can give you the general manager’s number. You can call them by yourself”. The tone was harsh.

Stumbled upon this place while walking around DuPont to kill time. The pizza selection here is amazing — there was a good variety and unique options that are hard to find elsewhere (Korean Chicken, Chicken Paneer, etc.). There’s of course the classic toppings. Pizza by the slice is a little cheaper than We, The Pizza and the service here is much better. I never got his name, but the main guy manning the place was like a giant teddy bear. He was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I would go back just to try the other options of toppings. There’s a few bar seats inside and lots of seating outside. Definitely recommend swinging by this place for a slice or buy an entire pie to take home.
