Where To Eat & Drink In Fredericksburg - Austin - The Infatuation

"Woerner Cafe is a casual American breakfast and lunch spot just a few blocks southwest of Main Street. Owned by the same group behind Sunset Grill and Belly Up Brew Pub, Woerner Cafe is a reliable spot for whipped-cream-topped buttermilk waffles, breakfast sandwiches, lattes, your typical lunch fare, and a revolving selection of baked goods and desserts. Though the spacious warehouse lacks the intimacy and decor of other restaurants on our list, the cafe makes up for it in ingredients, flavor, and service. Woerner Cafe’s chill atmosphere is a reprieve from Fredericksburg’s busier restaurants, and at a fraction of the price, too." - samantha grasso

Where to Eat and Drink in Fredericksburg, Texas

"The bakery and cafe within the Woerner Feed Store serves up sandwiches, pizza, and salads made with local ingredients from the town, alongside quiches and pastries. Round out the meal with some daytime coffee, shopping in the gift shop, or some beers and wines if that’s your jam. Takeout orders can be placed in person; there are indoor dine-in areas." - Erin Russell, Nadia Chaudhury

We enjoyed our stop here for lunch during a day in the hill country. While service was quite slow, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was enjoyable to spend time in with my family. The shop attached to the restaurant is cute, and has many wonderful options to browse and purchase.

My wife and I are locals who have eaten at the previous location for this business many times. Was letting everyone else crowd the doors at first opening of this location. Nothing beats the ambiance of the original, but this was well done. Food, wife, and I both had the daily special- meatloaf with mashed potatoes (skin on) and gravy,as well as fresh green beans. Yummy! Coconut cream pie for dessert. Will try again. New,young, waitress. Hope she gets better! Tips are crucial!

The service was "ok" but we don't require much either. The food was amazing and huge portions. My daughter and I could have split the BLAT sandwich and it was packed full of turkey and bacon. But we took the rest to the hotel and had a delicious late night snack. The flavors were so tasty. We will be back to try something else the next time we are in town. The little shop is cute too

This is the best kept secret In Fredericksburg! My husband and I had breakfast. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. They also have a coffee bar with the most beautiful pastries I have seen. I would highly recommend this spot. We will certainly be back!

We came here for brunch. It is a very spacious family friendly restaurant. It is also an antique store, bakery and gift shop. Every dish we had was delicious. Considering we were a large party, we were not only greeted but also served perfectly. We will definitely be coming back!

Went here again on Thursday July 4th. We have been coming here for many years. Most of that time it was in the warehouse next to Carol Hicks, which was a great location. But the new building is greatly improved with the addition of air conditioning! We both love the food here and most often get breakfast. Service is always great, even when super busy. Prices are very reasonable. This is one of the best places in Fredericksburg for breakfast and lunch.

Tasty breakfast sandwiches and good coffee that’s generously refilled. Free parking in back.

They had a chicken with veggies soup that was Delicious! My cousin got a cup and then ordered an additional bowl bc it was so good. My sister really liked her house special salad. The woerner works pizza was very salty especially from the olives. My friend didn't like his luckey pie pizza. My other friend did enjoy his margherita pizza.
