"An auburn miso-shoyu broth holds tofu, wilts of spinach, and corn. Above it floats enoki mushrooms, kaiware and bean sprouts, green onions, shredded chili, and wide cuts of nori. The depths hide green spinach noodles.  If you enjoy spice, be sure to request the pot of garlic chili oil (more garlic than chili). If not, try an add-on drizzle of black garlic oil to add complexity to the broth." - Kelly Bone

Stopped at Wokou for a quick bite and beer. I had the Tokyo Tots. Oh my goodness are they a flavorful and decadent twist on a childhood favorite... tater tots. Fried tater tots topped with pork belly chasu, spicy mayo, okonomiyaki sauce, green onion, shaved benito and shredded nori. I had never had okonomiyaki sauce. It tastes like sweet and sour sauce and Worcestershire sauce had a love child. It is amazing. This dish is an umami bomb. A must try. I came back and tried the fried crab sticks... mostly because I couldn't imagine what it was. Light, crispy batter outside, tender crab inside. Came with a lemon aioli. For $3 during happy hour I would consider them a bargain. I also tried the happy hour Wokou fried rice. Portion is huge. It is loaded with bacon, chicken, beef and topped with green onions, furitake and a fried egg.

Great Saturday night spot with live music, easy-going vibes, Japanese-themed gastropub-esque decor, fun cocktails and a full service sushi bar. Variety of Asian Fusion cuisine options from ramen to bao buns to sushi rolls served with fresh ingredients and vibrant presentations...the sashimi and shishito peppers are a great combo! Customer service was attentive and friendly even on a busy night with many guests! Lots more to explore on the menu and will be back soon! Shout-out to Chef Will for the gorgeous sashimi presentation!

Ordered from here during the stay at home order and got both some bao and ramen. They packaged it really well so it was clean and did not spill! They separated the broth and toppings for the ramen which was great. Everything was really tasty and flavorful. I liked the different tastes and combinations in the dishes. I look forward to coming back when they are open for in house dining!

The restaurant is located in a nice, top-notch plaza. We came to eat at Breakfast Republic but the wait was 45 minutes so we ended up coming here since it’s right across from the Breakfast Republic. The location is great, the pictures look good on the reviews but the food sucks. I had carnitas ramen and tonkatsu bowl. Both dishes were so sweet. Wish we waited to eat at the Breakfast Republic. Garlic edamame was ok. Not coming back again.
