I was wanting a late lunch/early dinner, and I arrived around 3-4pm. The place is easy to find! It is slightly off the beaten path, but the street is cute. I just moved to the KC area a few months ago, and a longtime KC resident recommended this place over much more established BBQ places. I ordered the 2 meat with 2 sides, and I got a wonderful cider that is a pear and apple blend. Sweet and crisp! Back to the food. For my two meets I ordered the pork belly burnt ends, and sliced beef brisket. For my two sides I got the lemon pepper coleslaw, and the street corn salad. Overall my total was I believe $34. To me, TOTALLY WORTH IT! You get allot of food. I cut off a little bit of the beef brisket first, and oh my goodness, so tender and juicy! You know that feeling when you take a bite into food, and your whole body just melts? You have that whole feeling of comfort and relaxation. That is what I experienced. I then tried the coleslaw, it was awesome, it doesn't hit you like a punch, it was smooth, with a nice light tang to it. I then took a bite of the corn salad. I asked before I ordered, what it was, if you have ever had elote (think corn, sour cream, cojita cheese, cilantro) that's what this is, just off the cob and oh man, such a comfort food! As if I wasn't already in food heaven, I then progressed to the pork belly burnt ends. Ok, you know when food is described as melt in your mouth? That's what this is! I That wonderful smokiness, juiciness, smooth, I was so full. The staff was very friendly, and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Next time I'm going to try the turkey! The one thing I forgot to mention, is that I have a gluten allergy/Celiac disease. They have specific notes on their menu as to what is gluten free. I'm feeling good over 12 hours later as well. I had a nice chat with the owner as well, and definitely helped me feel welcome there. Try the Wolfpack BBQ! You won't regret it! Oh I forgot the pickles! Made in house and also amazing!
