WOW. 🤯🤯🤯 Hands down the BEST Korean BBQ we’ve ever had in DFW. From the quality of the meat to every single dish on the table, everything was next level. The kimchi pancake, beef stew, soups, sides, literally everything was so PACKED with flavor and done with so much care. Nothing felt like filler to make you full before the meat and every side dish could have been its a main one. The meat quality and cuts were unreal. The cuts were insanely tender and flavorful. The grilling service is top notch, they even blow torch the meat (!!) and use the best non-stick grill grate so nothing sticks or gets lost. You get the perfect char from the fire and the torch, and it’s just 😫😭🙌 This is the biggest hidden gem for kbbq in DFW. But fair warning!!!: Once you try Won BBQ, you won’t be able to go back to any other Korean BBQ. If you live far away, gas up, because this WILL be your regular spot.

One of my favorite BBQ places in town. They have best quality beef and also variety Korean/ Chinese cuisines at more affordable prices. It might be me but I do hope the waiters can smile a little more? They are very helpful and patient cooking the meat for you just they just don’t seem super welcoming somehow.

Google
Yesterday was our first time to Won BBQ. We were looking for a good authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. They have that plus a regular order from menu. Food was absolutely amazing, and unlike other Korean BBQ we’ve been to in the past they cook the food for you. Lots of extras came with our order. Highly recommend the seafood/beef soup, beef Tartare, & marinated beef rib. We’ll definitely go back!!

Google
super delicious food, although a bit pricey you can tell they really care about their quality. everything we tried was so good! and the staff was super nice and accommodating (and knowledgeable!) we will be coming back again for our special anniversary or birthday hehe :)

I've been going to this place for awhile, and I would say that this place gets 4.5 stars, but I have it 5 since I didn't want to down grade it to 4 stars. First the food: very good and definitely authentic! I love their soy soup and kalbitang! The service is very good, although there is one older wait person who seems a little aloof, but he is genuinely nice, not saccharin nice. He appears to be kind of choppy with words, but he is quite the opposite. The tall wait person is just very kind. Also a plus: the restroom is sparkling clean!

Tried this place for lunch on Saturday. We got the seafood pancake and bbq beef combo A. With the side dishes and the cheese corn, soup, and salad that came with the combo, my mom and I were stuffed with leftovers for later. The beef quality was amazing and service was great! Place is also very clean as well and the cocktails we had were very tasty! I say that the price was worth it. I'm sure we'll be back!

The barbecue here was absolutely delicious, though I think part of that came from the server cooking everything for us. The meat was perfectly smoky with just the right amount of crisp. We ordered the Beef B set, which included a generous variety of beef cuts alongside some vegetables. The experience felt like a show in itself, especially when flames occasionally erupted from the grill—it reminded me of those hibachi-style restaurants. The side dishes that came with the Beef B were so good they disappeared within seconds. The cheese corn was wonderfully creamy and cheesy but still light in flavor, while the soup was warm and comforting. All the banchans were enjoyable, except for the scallion pancake, which was cold and felt a little stale. The other dishes on the menu were equally great. The Volcano Hot Pot especially, with a perfect balance of sweetness and savoriness. The vegetables were fresh and the meat tender. Again, it was cool watching the server cook it. Overall, the great flavors and the entertaining cooking process made for a really memorable dining experience!

Google
Won is under new ownership, but the quality of the meats is still there. If anything has changed, it’s the service which was top notch. Our waiter basically cooked our whole meal for us by dropping by occasionally and flipping the cuts around the grill. Everything we’ve tried here is really good with no misses. If there’s anything to gripe about it’s their somewhat limited panchan. You get a decent amount, but compared to other places you won’t be getting as much variety. That said, considering how great everything else is it’s something we didn’t really mind. Prices here are extremely reasonable for an a la carte experience.

Yelp
I've only ever been to Won for the dine-in side before. This time we came for the BBQ. We dropped by on a Saturday evening around 6 p.m. The BBQ area was packed despite plenty of seating while the dine-in side was practically empty, as usual. We ordered the beef combo A with a side of beef tartare for a party of 3. It came out quickly. The service was great - the staff does the BBQ grilling for you so the meat is never overcooked. The food was absolutely delicious. It came with salt and sauce on the side but didn't really need it as most of the meats were marinated. The tartare, which was paired with sweet pear, came out frozen and melted over time.

Yelp
one of my favorite kbbq in dfw! They have a BBQ side and a dine-in non BBQ side which is great if you're looking to only get their regular menu items without getting the grilled meat smell on you. I think the quality of their meat is really good, everything was cooked to a tender perfection. I love all their side dishes, especially the kimchi and kabocha squash! Their steamed eggs is super fluffy and delivious and you also can't forget about their corn cheese! My only complaint is that since this is a kbbq restaurant where they cook the meat for you, service might be a tad slow depending on how busy the place is because they don't have a lot of people working in the bbq section.

Yelp
Like another Yelper posted.. this is 3.5 stars but there's no 3.5 so I rounded up. The steamed egg , tofu soup included in lunch special are very small. Mini size, never seen one that small... fit for a child, Bulgogi lunch special portion is also very small at $17.99 Taste was ok , average. Banchan was Ok, nothing special, I've had other much better banchans at other Korean restaurants. They gave us sik hye at the end and gave hot barley tea in the beginning.

Yelp
A surprisingly good KBBQ experience in Plano, far away from the Koreatowns of DFW. Won was my first a la carte KBBQ meal and I've been avoiding it because I was worried it would ruin AYCE for me and then I'd be poor lol. While AYCE isn't ruined, I'll say Won is a great place to eat if you tryna splurge. The quality of meat is top notch so while it costs more, you get more. I went with my partner and ordered the beef combo A, which is for about 2 people for $109 in Dec 2024. Marbling on the meat was fantastic and the servers cooking were so quick and knew what they were doing so each piece was cooked to be juicy and tender. I will say I kind of missed cooking it myself but hey it's part of what you're paying for. Plus they're the pros. The banchan was decent but maybe I'm just basic and really like fish cake. So I was sad they didn't have any. The kimchi goes hard though. Very spicy but also very good. I heard they make it in house. Other than the kimchi I wouldn't say the rest of the side dishes were standout. When you come in they'll ask if you're eating bbq or just ordering from the kitchen. The restaurant is separated half and half, maybe so non-bbq folks don't have to breathe in the smoke. I'd be interested to see how the non-bbq food is given how good the Kbbq is. All in all, a solid a la carte KBBQ joint. For special occasions or when I'm just craving some luxury, Won is on my list.

Yelp
Amazing KBBQ spot in Plano! Coming from the bay area, we have had our fair share of good KBBQ and Won definitely delivers in terms of both quality and quantity! First of all, the staff here are fantastic. They cook everything for you so all you have to do is focus on eating, plus they were generally quite attentive throughout our meal. Moving onto the food, we ordered the seafood pancake (haemul pajeon) to start and chose the beef & pork combo A ($90), and we definitely were not expecting the sizable portion of meat that came to our table. We managed to finish up most of the beef since they cooked it first, and we ended up taking a good amount of the pork plus half of the seafood pancake home with us as leftovers. The KBBQ also came with corn cheese (so good!), steamed egg, and soybean soup. Loved everything!

Yelp
I'd say this place is closer to 3.5/3.7 than 4 stars but since we can only do full stars I don't think 3 stars is fair. Both food and service were the same. Good and better than average but nothing really stood out. We ordered the beef combo A. The boneless short rib was really good... everything else after that was pretty average.

Yelp
We arrived on a Monday night for dinner, we were asked if we were having Korean grilled meat or other dishes off the menu, and we were promptly seated on a table with large grilling area. The ambience was gentle and quiet, not a big crowd on Monday. This was our first here, and we were hoping for all you care to eat, but here we had to order specific meat combinations. We ordered a combination that had pork belly and beef rib and two orders of pork steamed dumplings. The won meat came with steamed rice and lots of Korean side dishes (those do come as many times as you like). The meat combination was short of abundant for the price, so we ordered. In the end, the meal cost about $40 per person.

Yelp
Great KBBQ in Plano! The meat quality here was definitely up there. Cuts were tender and the waiters that cook for you at your table, did a great job cooking the meat - tender and juicy. They also had a good selection of banchan side dishes along with soup and steamed egg. The restaurant also has a good amount of non-kbbq items, so there is diversity. I can only speak on the kbbq experience though.

Yelp
Decided to try a new Korean bbq place. We liked that's this place offers other dishes than just bbq. There are appetizer, stews, rice dishes, etc. We ordered the beef combination bbq, japchae, seafood pancakes, and bulgogi stew. The Korean bbq itself was good. Beef had lots of flavor and the quality was good but the portions were a little small compared to other Korean bbq places near by. The side dishes were delicious and tasted really fresh Our favorite was the cucumber/bok choy, fish cakes and coleslaw. They give you 4 dipping options for the meat. Salt, miso, and a 2 darker sauces. All were good. Their seafood pancake was good but would preferred it to be a little more crispy. My kiddos loved the japchae noddles and the stew was also good. The bulgogi stew and a slight sweetness to it but my husband enjoyed it. Staff were really friendly and helpful in answering our questions. Would 100% come again.

Yelp
Tried Won BBQ at 15th & Custer for Easter lunch after church yesterday with a crew of 12 -- it was super empty, maybe because of the holiday weekend. We had a great time and service was really on top of it. They sat the twelve of us at three booths out of four in a semi-enclosed portion of general seating and quickly served us with water. The four of us at our table opted to try one of the barbecue combos. Our server explained that set As on the menu feed 2-3 and set Bs on the menu feed 4-5 but honestly four of us split the beef & pork set A combo and it was SO much food, definitely enough for all of us to be very satisfied. The meat quality was great, marinated meets were flavorful but not too sweet which is more to our tastes, and the employees cook everything for you so you don't have to worry about making sure nothing is burning. Our server also cut away the few blackened bits that occurred. The banchan selection was nice and you also get complementary egg soufflé, corn cheese, and soybean stew with the combo. All had great flavors and were delicious. You do have to specifically ask for things like rice, lettuce wraps, radish paper, and samjang, but they do have all those things free of charge included with your meal. We also tried the seafood pancake which was very affordably priced, decent portion, and very tasty. Not too thick with batter and well crisped without being too oily. Sauce was great too. Total cost of meal after tax and tip for four of us was a little under $140 which is great for an a la carte KBBQ place of this quality. You pay for your meal at the front, at least right now, so if you try it out there's no need to wait for the check at your table. Just go up and tell them what you ordered. Other people in our larger group tried the galbijjim (smaller portion) and the bulgogi and enjoyed it. Someone got an old fashioned too and said it was quite strong. One thing that could be improved was the ventilation, I don't think our hood was doing too much above the table even though it looked very impressive, haha. But hopefully they figure that out soon, it's early! This place is super conveniently located for me (in the old Gogiya space) so we'll probably be back sooner rather than later.

Yelp
The service, the food, and the atmosphere are exceptional. I had the beef bulgogi and Kimchi soup lunch special. With the side dishes that come with it, there's plenty take home after your meal. The beef was melt in your mouth perfect and the soup was amazing. And again, the service was five star!

Yelp
An amazing Korean BBQ spot. Huge portions and high quality meat. The waiters cook for you and are super polite and asked to refill our banchan sides. The restaurant is organized between kbbq and normal dining and very clean. Loved eating here and will definitely return!

Yelp
Was in the area and I saw this place changed names and was under new ownership and decided to try it out. The inside looks 100 times better than it used to. And the menu went from an average all you can eat to a nice authentic style Korean menu. I love that they offer most dishes most Korean places don't offer. I decided to order food for like 5 people for myself to try some things. I'll definitely be back to try some other things. I got a small pork combo that came with jowl, marinated pork, and pork belly. Then the Seolleong Tang and the Korean style beef tartare. Everything was delicious, the banchan served with the meal was super tasty. My favorite was the Korean tartare, they do it great here. And the marinated pork was excellent here as well. Nothing I had was bad here. It was all really delicious and great quality. It's nice not to have to drive to Dallas or Carrollton for good Korean food. Definitely go here.

Yelp
Today, I had a chat with the owner and discovered he's a Korean-Chinese from Yanbian, fluent in both Chinese and Korean. His service was exceptional, honest, and humble. A definite five-star experience. The service was excellent, but the real standout was the taste! We ordered the $65 pork combo, and the quality of the meat was top-notch, free from the unpleasant pork smell often found in American meat. Next time, I plan to bring friends and try the pork and beef combo. Having tried numerous Korean BBQ places in Los Angeles, Dallas, and even famous spots in Seoul, I must say that Won BBQ genuinely impressed us. The freshness and deliciousness of the meat were basic expectations, but the real challenge was the "banchan" (Korean side dishes). It's difficult to make every side dish taste amazing, but they nailed it! Every single dish was so good! The flavor and service were on par with the famous BBQ spots we've tried in Seoul and Los Angeles' Koreatown. After this meal, we ranked this place as our top Korean BBQ. (Even if you don't want BBQ, their seafood pancakes and tofu stew are great options.) A special mention goes to their kimchi. It was so delicious that it almost made me cry! It was perfectly balanced without the overly fermented sour taste we dislike. We even asked the owner if they sell it separately, but he humbly explained that it's house-made and not for sale, noting that kimchi flavor varies daily. Their side dishes are refillable, and the second round might feature different items, but every dish remains consistently delicious! The combo also comes with steamed eggs, cheesy corn, and soybean paste soup. While I found the soup a bit salty, my companion thought it was perfectly rich. Typically, steamed eggs and corn aren't refillable at other places, but the owner generously brought us extra when we asked. The owner put great care into the menu, down to the table sauces and lettuce with wasabi, all tasting excellent. The meat presentation was also meticulous. Table service was impeccable, with the owner personally grilling the meat to perfection--crispy and juicy. We didn't hesitate to tip 20% for lunch (we usually tip 15% for lunch and 20% for dinner). This place is a solid 20% for us in the future! Dallas folks, if you haven't been, you need to try this place! It's truly eye-opening with every bite. For those not in Dallas, save this spot on your Maps for your next visit. Don't miss it!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing BBQ experience. Service is so genuine and nice. We ordered the brisket and prime ribs for grilling. Good quality meat. The seafood bibimbap was the BOMB. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Wow this place truly serves premium Korean bbq meat. While it's a bit more pricey than typical places, I think this place is highly worth it. The meat quality is genuinely good. We got the Beef Combo B and as you can see in the picture, it is A LOT OF MEAT. We were stuffed! The waiter helps you cook the meat. He was very friendly and good at cooking. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Yelp
I am torn about writing this review because I want to keep it my secret, but they deserve the recognition. This place is hands down my new favorite KBBQ, even better than Ari, in both value and quality. The staff was very attentive, they cook everything for you. It seems like any of the staff walking by is paying attention and will tend to your grill, you don't have to do anything. The place is well kept. Review is for the Beef & Pork Combo A for $90: To START you get: a generous portion of kimchi, salad to share, kimchi cucumbers, fish cakes, bean sprouts, japchae noodles, marinated onions, seaweed/radish something - possibly other items but I can't remember. Then: (all to share) miso soup, scrambled egg (with green onion?), seasoned cheesy corn; each person gets a bowl of cabbage slaw and sauce with salt for the meat The meat itself was just very very tasty and you have the option of how done you prefer it. I know there was another KBBQ place in this location before, idk why it didn't work out, but we HAVE to keep this place going. It really is so good, will absolutely be back with anyone I can convince to go with me.

Yelp
Great service and great Korean BBQ for the whole family! We went later for dinner with 3 littles kids and they did an awesome job accommodating us. We will be coming back!

Yelp
Very tasty KBBQ and side dishes, with good quality meat. The service is good too. Definitely one of the best KBBQ places out there, out of all the places I've been to in LA and Dallas. A must-try place!

Yelp
This place just opened and has became one of my few favorite places to get kbbq. Meat quality is great, tender, and I really appreciate how the workers cook for us. Their kimchi pancakes are so good and so are their steamed eggs, cheesy corn, and kimchi soup. The kimchi pancakes really made an impression on me. I came on a weekday so it wasn't really packed, but I liked it that way because my food came out quick. At the end of dinner they offer complimentary Korean iced tie and I enjoyed how it wasn't too sweet like most kbbq restaurants offer.

Yelp
Had a birthday party for a good friend of mine. We had a party of 18. Service was great food was fresh and atmosphere was quite enjoyable. We will definitely be going there for more great food. Great Job!

Yelp
The food was very nice and delicious. The service and staff were really friendly. Honestly I think it is a good place.

Yelp
Great restaurant! All the food was incredibly delicious and the service was excellent. I had the ribs, which were amazingly juicy and tender. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Birthday celebration, made reservations, all arrive and are seated. Then the wait begins. Poor communication and poor service were the theme of the night. One example - I had to ask for a drink we ordered several times. Took 15 minutes to arrive after ordering (was just a Coke!). Food good, but not life changing. Fairly basic. I will not be coming back.

Yelp
Move over Ari Korean BBQ! There's a new contender in town and is making a name for themselves. First, the food is excellent. The meats are premium for sure and the sides are very delicious. They also have a non-Korean BBQ menu and the wings were very good. I have to say, probably one of the best if not the best Korean BBQ in Dallas at the moment.

Amy P.

Yelp
Just opened! This is an absolute must-visit Korean and Chinese cuisine restaurant. Unlike typical all-you-can-eat places, it specializes in select cuts of meat, creating a delicate and flavorful experience with its excellent distribution of fat. The fresh and tender grilled beef, with service staff on hand to control the desired doneness, offers a surprising delight. The uniquely crafted pork belly, with its crispy skin and luxurious aroma reminiscent of roasted suckling pig, leaves nothing but a satisfied smile. The pot-wrapped meat is a must-try dish, combining Chinese and Korean flavors with its favorite sweet and sour taste among young people. The service is friendly, and the side dishes are crisp and refreshing, with the iron plate cheese corn being fragrant and rich. Adjacent to it is a picleball center, making it a perfect weekend to enjoy grilled meat followed by some exercise!

Yelp
The food was good. We ordered the pork and beef combo and it was very good, more than enough for two people! :) They cook the meat for you. Service was excellent, very attentive. We went for a late lunch/early dinner and it was not too busy. Overall the atmosphere was nice. We will be back.

Adam N.

Yelp
The food here is delicious and by far the best KBBQ I have ever experienced! The meat quality is very high and the portions are large, the price reflects this but it is worth every penny . I love the vibe this place has it is very relaxing for a date night.

Mike L.

Yelp
First time here, had lunch. Food was fresh, very tasty, good portion size, reasonably priced, fast and attentive staff. In house made kimchi is delicious. Will be back for a BBQ.

Yung R.

Yelp
Best new high quality Korean BBQ restaurant in town. The beef is prime and they have a bone in beef that is different from all the other kbbq places. That beef alone is worth the trip. All the sides are super fresh and good. They are the only place i have seen that have the young radish kimchi. Super nice owners who came by and checked on us along with great servers who cooked the meat for us to our liking. Overall great time and will be back again. Their side dishes are so good I'm going to come back for their Korean and Chinese menu as well. The owner mentioned that they are buying a naengmyun making machine which will arrive in about a month. Can't wait to try it.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food here. We ordered a Beef and Pork Combo A and it was enough for the 3 of us. The meats were delicious, and they cooked it for you. Service was attentive. The meal capped off with some sweet cinnamon tea which Ive never had before.

Esther C.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite place now for Korean BBQ. It's not AYCE but much prefer the quality over quantity. They offer a large variety of fresh and well-seasoned sides and they even do the cooking for you, making sure we don't overcook the meat. Service and food were the best out of all the Korean BBQ spots I've visited in DFW.

Andrew W.

Yelp
Relatively new restaurant and we didn't have to wait. High quality meat and good service. One of the best Korean BBQ we have had. Definitely coming back

Maria B.

Yelp
We went here for my son's bday celebration, and we were very impressed. Service was excellent, people were so nice and friendly. The food was excellent, the portion was very generous; very impressed with the side dishes! They even gave us rice at no charge! The staff on the front desk- we called him " Sajangnim" was very kind, attentive and kind! Thank you, we'll surely come back again!
