I have to say this was one of the most amazing dinning experiences I ever had! The presentation is on another level!! Loved the ambiance and as well the cages where we sat, the bar is so cool inside! My favorite dish was the scallop but we tried other dishes as well and it was absolutely amazing! Now, the cocktails of course stole the show! a lot of smoke and whimsical presentations, i’ve never seen something so cool! Loved each one and we are definitely going back! Thank you Emily for the amazing service she was so sweet the whole staff was kind and welcoming!! absolutely best

Flavorful food, pretty holiday decorations, extremely kind and welcoming staff. Very cute set up for seating as well. I didn’t love the tequila drink I got, but it wasn’t bad, just not quite what I expected. The free non alcoholic shots and hand towels are a nice touch. Really cool presentation for food and drinks. Tuesday is ladies night where women can buy one drink then get one free. Bigger portions than expected, so definitely recommend sharing! The waiter we had was so sweet, didn’t get his name, but we didn’t make much of a dent in the beef jerky, as it was just a lot of food, and he took it off the bill for us! The staff is overall very attentive. Definitely recommend!

Wonderland truly lives up to its name! The ambiance was magical with thoughtful details everywhere. The Crossroads Spring Rolls were perfectly crispy and fresh, while the Chungking Spicy Chicken Sliders had just the right amount of heat. The Peppercorn Squid was tender and full of flavor. The cocktails were strong yet balanced, making every sip enjoyable. Service was quick and attentive, creating a full-on experience. We felt like we found our own little wonderland—definitely planning to return!

With whimsical decor, delicious Asian fusion food, beautiful & unique drinks, and a chic and welcoming atmosphere, Wonderland Bar is a culinary experience like no other. The restaurant is spacious and offers garden-themed booths for seating, with more casual seating in the front area and a more intimate setting in the back. The staff was very courteous, attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable and were integral in ensuring we had the best experience possible. Every diner is given a complementary welcome shot to start, which is served in a potion bottle contained in a smoking box. Unfortunately, that shot no longer has alcohol to be inclusive for those who don't drink alcohol. They offer casual food, but each item was absolutely delicious and creatively displayed. The cocktail menu is undeniably the most unique one that I have seen, with drinks containing uncommon ingredients that you would expect to see in perfumes or food. However, no matter how unusual the ingredients were, they all combined well to create exceptionally enjoyable cocktails. The calm qi of life cocktail was an instant favorite, and my friend Josh loved it so much that swore he almost saw heaven each time he had a sip of it!! The drinks are also presented with dramatic flair, making the experience even more fun!!

I had an amazing time at Wonderland! The decor is charming. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and they crafted some of the best cocktails I've ever had. The presentation is special and awesome! I especially loved the Shiso Leef, which was perfectly balanced. The music was on point, creating a great atmosphere for chatting and unwinding. Plus, the food were a delicious bonus! I’ll definitely be returning for another round soon!

This is a WONDER-ful, whimsical bar that serves extremely creative cocktails and delicious tapas. The staff was friendly and our server took the time to explain the menu, drinks and a bit of some other cool interesting facts about the restaurant. We were lucky to be seated in one of the large bird cages. This was a magical experience. Thank you🙏🏼

A spectacular evening with 3 of my daughters & 3 of my adult granddaughters. Our waiter Ryan was very special and incredibly helpful, friendly and very responsive. The drinks were fun experiences as was the food. Beef noodle soup, chicken skewers & sliders and all 3 of the desserts are a must! Thank you for helping us make a very special memory!!!!!

Really cute bar! It wasn't super busy walking in on a rainy night even though the other bars around were packed. They give free shots at the beginning and everything is both presented and decorated in a really aesthetic manner. Service was very attentive and cocktails definitively are inventive! I tried the slow and steady (super peppery and not my favorite), a summer Saturday (my favorite one the olive was a little off putting at the beginning but I grew to like it!), and the all my lovin (very tequila forward but really good!) Definitely a good place for a date where you can hear the other person and it's fun to watch all the cocktails being made!

Wow! This place does well on the decor and creates a place for very instagrammable drinks. Honestly, if you wanted to show off to your online following this would be a great place to go - every drink is unique and whimsical and plays well on a video. What's really interesting is that the service is really trying hard to succeed, and there are so many of them. It's really nice to get this level of service. So why only 3 stars? What a great question. Despite getting an A for Effort, an A for presentation, and an A for decor, there's just a couple real issue when it comes to taste. None of the drinks tasted better than okay to good. It's funny because we expected drinks that tasted better than Please Don't Tell based on the show going on, but they tasted more like an amateur cocktail makers attempt at fancy cocktails. We had to leave and go get less pretty, but better tasting cocktails at PDT afterwards. The food also is interesting. Most of it is okay to good, the Eel Clubs were actively bad and I love eel. They somehow hit a weird mix of dry, flavorless, bony, and beautiful. Yes, everything is beautiful here. Maybe I'll give it a shot again, but it's hard to do so in a city with so many great restaurants.

Hmmm... I might give this place three stars. Now Wonderland is gorgeous and definitely original! They still had their super cute Christmas decor up during mid -January. I saw online their pics for Halloween - I know I have to come by for spooky season. Service was also amazing and friendly. Wonderland's food and cocktails presentation are on another level - it is very Instagram worthy. Servers even make sure you are ready to take pictures/videos of these lavish cocktails. Everything was gorgeous, but some of the cocktails did not taste good. Our party tried many of their specialty drinks - all I can say is that the Wild Perfume and Shiso Leaf were the ones we like. Anyways, it is certainly a very pretty place. Also if you get hungry, get the truffle fries - those were good.

My friends and I stumbled upon this place after my birthday dinner. We were trying to get into Paradise Lost a few doors down, but it was shady vibes at the entrance so my friend nudged us into Wonderland simply because of the festive decorations in the window. On a Friday night, with no reservation, my little party of 3 was seated immediately. I have NEVER heard of the EXISTENCE of this place before, never seen it on social media, NOTHING, so EVERYTHING was a surprise. I spontaneously ordered what must be the most beautiful alcoholic beverage I have ever encountered, The Calm Qi of Life. I read some other reviewer said the drink quality wasn't up to par? Well while the drinks are expensive, one sip of my beautiful work of art surrounded by flowers reminded me I was DRINKING. Definitely got some KICK. We also ordered truffle fries, which came in a giant bird's (or DINO) nest display. My friend got the chicken sliders, and from what I can remember (because I took a big chomp) I loved them. The service is here is IMPECCABLE. And I loved the little freebie potion shots they brought over for us to sample. This is DEFINITELY the sort of place where you're kinda watching what the other tables drink orders to see what's gonna happen over there too; EVERY time a waiter showed up ANYWHERE, there was a captive audience in the vicinity to watch the smoking, bubble-popping, mystical beverage. And yes, the decor in this place was MADE for taking pictures, and the waiters will do it for you if you ask! Such an awesome place!

Pretty presentation of the drinks, however if I were to assess the quality of the drinks, they are more lackluster compared to its competitors out there that also have pretty presentation. Some of the drinks really did not taste good... specifically a summer Saturday and all my Lovin. I'm all for spirit forward alcohols, but the alcohol taste was very much apparent and not masked at all... like in ur face kind of pungent. Best presentation drink: wild perfume (looks like a magic ball) Best tasting: shiso leaf (addition of ginger and peach makes it quite tasty) Overall rating: Drinks quality 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Food was decent , a tad spicy but well cooked and season. Service was amazing from start to finish. The hostess was great, our server attentive and gave good suggestions for drinks. Ambiance is a place to chill or go out on a date.

What an experience Wonderland was! From the eclectic decor, various plush seats, and unique cocktails, this bar is one of a kind. My friend and I got reservations and were seated in the back, a more quiet and intimate setting compared to their bustling front bar. We tried out various cocktails and bites, and had a great time! We got free welcome shots (a combo of tea and orange juice), and the service was great! The servers were nice and knowledgeable about the drinks on the menu, and had recommendations based off of what we usually liked. My favorite was the shiso cocktail, a sweeter gin cocktail that came with a literal sparkling entrance. The food was ok, the truffle fries were a little too salty though. All in all, definitely a place to try out! The bar has unique cocktails and is a cute place to take pictures too!

The first thing you notice upon entering the restaurant is how stunningly beautiful the interior is, with its carefully curated décor and inviting ambiance. However, the experience takes a turn with the hostess, who was unfortunately neither welcoming nor pleasant. As the first point of contact, a hostess should set a warm and inviting tone, but this one fell short. Despite this, I decided to stay and give the place a chance. Once seated, the evening improved significantly thanks to my server, Cristian, who was exceptional from start to finish. His recommendations were spot on, and he guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and knowledge. The drinks were perfectly crafted--balanced and refreshing--and the skewers were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. Cristian's attentive and friendly service made the rest of the dining experience memorable, despite the initial rough start.

Let's be honest, most Instagrammable places these days do not have decent food and drinks. This is another IG spot failure. Service was Great! And all 3 stars are going back to their service! And this is the reason I was holding back my review, feeling bad writing exactly how the drinks were. This place is extremely cute and Instagrammable, if you are looking for a place just to take pictures and create content, this is a great place! If you are looking for a real good cocktails, this is definitely not a place for you. Drinks were extremely Instagrammable, the creation/ story behind each cocktail was very interesting, but they went extremely heavy on alcohol, heavy on sweetness, and all other taste of each cocktail was just too overly done, extreme, like you can't find any balance in any of the drinks. I was there with 2 other friends, all 3 of us couldn't enjoy and finish any of the cocktails at all. Because of the cocktails, we did not have confidence to try their food.

I went here during their opening season and since we reserved in advance they gave us this gorgeous round table with fall decor and it made us feel super instagrammable! Honestly the service was so nice they even gave us welcome shots that were super interesting in flavor. All the cocktails we had were super fun and had different cups for each of them. I got the wonderland- which had an edible cute little duck on it and it was super yummy and I really enjoy a lychee drink so I gravitated towards this one. For a more instagrammable drink is the shiso leaf where they burn the sides of the drink and it lights up on fire! This was an eye catching one and it tasted good but I still preferred mine. We also got The Calm Qi of Life which came in a little tea cup. This one was a lot stronger than the other two. For food I feel like we ordered the entire menu but we ordered the beef noodle soup, cold noodles, eel club sliders, fried crab, shishito peppers, truffle fries and peppercorn squid. I feel like the place looks witchy but the food is all Chinese. Interesting take on attracting customers. I think all the food we're around $20-$30 other than the smaller dishes. I can definitely say that the beef noodle soup wasn't worth it because I've had much better elsewhere and I believe it was the most expensive dish we ordered. My faves were definitely the cold noodles, eel club sando and the truffle fries! I remember those truffle fries were so good I couldn't stop eating it even though we had leftover crab and squid! The cold noodles were also really good and flavorful with a nice spice kick to it. I feel like if I came next time I would prioritize cocktails and maybe a few finger foods instead of ordering the whole menu like we did! We were just super hungry at the time ;) Fun concept restaurant- will definitely be back again on a girly date.

This place just opened, but it's wonderful. The owner Joe is a great host and knows what hospitality and services is all about. Came here to celebrate a birthday and we were treated wonderfully. We tried a few things on the menu. Everything was delicious but be warned The jerky is a bit spicy but I enjoyed it. The bbq squid was good not spicy. The oyster shot had a kick. The seafood pearls were a good portion and helped mellow out the spice of the previous dishes with its creaminess. The pickled cucumbers hit the spot a bit on the sweeter side and worked wonderfully with all the other dishes we tried. The drinks were all fun and so very tasty. You can't go wrong with any of the drinks they were all delicious and the presentation was fun as well. Everyone greets you when you walk in and when you walk out. This was not just a pallet pleaser this was an overall experience and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Came here on a Saturday night to celebrate my birthday.... Once you sit down you are welcomed with free shots... non alcoholic of course lol we started with the chicken sliders, soft shell crab and fries. The chicken was okay I think it would've been better if the bread was toasted. The soft shell crab was kind of cold. The fries were overcooked and crispy. They came out singing hbd to me and even took a birthday pic as a souvenir. Loved the vibe but in the same breath it was so many workers that they hovered over you. As soon as you were done they were taking your plate even if you still had something left... that was annoying

Lots of gimicky kind of drinks. Almost everything is very instagrammable. If that's your vibe then this is the place to be.

Adam was my server. I had an amazing time and the food was so so so flavorful and fantastic. The venue itself is so gorgeous and the music is amazing and jolly for this time of year. I was recommended an amazing drink called DOMO which is basically an adaptogen drink that is marketed as a mocktail. When i tell you- IT WAS FANTASTIC. It has amazing supplemental ingredients and the ashwaganda and L-theanine and GABA really help you wind down. 10/10 recommend, i take liposomal GABA on a daily basis for my anxiety. Highly recommend. This place is really cute! You're like transformed into a fairy garden vibe and the staff is super nice. They provide you with a complimentary wellness shot and the drinks are very fancy. We got a couple bites to share for the table as well - Bracing Cucumber, Hi There Cold Noodles, Truffle Fries and Shishito Pepper. All were good and great shareable items!

Definitely recommend - perfect for both a date spot or for a party of people & Instagram worthy! 1. Decor is amazing! My favorite is the nest cage seating. 2. Special cocktails & food have an amazing presentations & taste so yummy! 3. Server is very attentive and frequently helps to fill up your water & provide napkins, when needed, even without asking. Came here for a date night on a Tuesday evening and what a treat! I was presently surprised by the interior design of this cute little place. This is not a typical bar you go to in NYC. Once you passed the front area, there is a passageway that leads to the back and it even has a cute outdoor area. Great for private parties or corporate events ~ very well thought-out! The drinks were all about presentations and made it a very fun experience. I felt like I was at a Michelin star place for a moment the way they presented the food and drinks lol but the manager actually did mention the food were designed by the Michelin star head chef of Chili. My favorite dishes were the beef noodles and the pearl of scallops! The beef was flavorful... the texture and soup were just perfect. Music was lively too so I had a wonderful time. Given this place is brand new, the servers weren't familiar with the menu so still need a bit more training. But overall it was great and I will definitely come back! I love the atmosphere and ambiance. It's perfect for a fun date night or a girls night out!

I was so amazed by the food and drinks here!!! Especially the presentation of the cocktails! If you want to impress your date then this is the place where you wanna take them! Must get I would say it's the sichuan beef jerky, Sichuan beef noodle soup, pearl of scallop, eel club and the Chungking spicy chicken slider!!! For the drinks I would say try everything on the menu, all the drink was unique in taste and presentation!

My wife and I stopped by at 10pm on a Wednesday night for a date. Definitely a must try. Decor is fantastic and the attention to detail in the service is absolutely great. They start you off with a complimentary palate-cleansing juice shot in an awesome presentation format... in fact everything is presented really nicely. Food was very good: We got the cold oyster starter, truffle fries, squid, chicken sliders, and beef noodle soup to share. Unfortunately they were out of the lobster roll. We tried a variety of drinks and the presentation is also very nice. If I have one critique it's that the cocktails are well done but don't seem that strong. Of course it comes down to preference, but there's something awesome about sipping a craft cocktail and distinctly tasting the alcohol, but the other ingredients complement it so it doesn't taste like an overly aggressive pour either. For the price $22+ for most cocktails, it think and extra half shot of liquors in all the drinks would make this a true 5 star all around. I still have 5 stars because the place is so cool. If I could give a 4.75 I think that would be my exact rating. Regardless, I would come back for sure.

Wonderland unfortunately just doesn't make food and drinks that taste very good. They are focused on making a photogenic experience that looks good on instagram, using a lot of gimmicks such as dry ice and interesting containers. Our waiter asked numerous times if we wanted to take a video when he presents our order, but we did not.

My friend and I went wonderland bar. This was an awesome experience. If you want to walk out of NY streets chaos go to this amazing little dream bar with unique drinks, food and decor. This is the place to be. The service was superb everyone was so attentive, making sure we had what we needed. And OMG their drinks are delicious. their pearl seafood dish made us go to heaven. This place would make an awesome place for a date.

I went on a date hear and the hospitality and drinks were amazing !! The ambience is great and makes you feel like you have entered a secret garden. I would definitely recommend the cocktail the wild perfume.

WOW, this place truly blew me away. The friendliest staff in the city. Greeted us with a welcome shot to open the palate, and then described our cocktails to us in detail. Was such a lovely experience & you really cant go wrong. Every cocktail is so special and unlike anything ive ever had!

Wonderland Bar for their kindly staff and the welcome drink that opened up my taste buds. My girlfriend and I ordered the scallops and truffle fries, both of which were incredibly delicious. Between the two of us, we had five drinks, each surprisingly tasty and exceptionally fragrant. Highly recommended.
