Best Asian Restaurants in Edmonds | Eater Seattle

"The steaming bowls of noodle soup at Wonton Noodle House are always comforting. Here’s there’s the option of choosing wontons or dumplings — or both — in the noodle soup dishes, along with optional meat toppings. While the wonton noodle soup is the namesake dish, the bowls of congee also delicious and equally comforting (the fish congee, made with rock cod, is a favorite), made better with a side order of the Chinese donuts known as youtiao. Best of all, the restaurant is open until just after midnight every day." - Jay Friedman

TikTok Star Teena Thach Highlights Seattle’s BIPOC Restaurants | Eater Seattle

"I posted a video of the 10-year-old Wonton Noodle House in Edmonds featuring its Hong Kong-style congee, beef chow fun, and wonton and beef brisket lo mein with soup, but the deep-fried wontons became the runaway hit — orders jumped from about 15 a day to more than 70, leaving the kitchen nearly overwhelmed." - Colleen Stinchcombe

I keep coming back to this Chinese restaurant for their congee, it’s always comforting and delicious. I’ve also tried other dishes, and they’ve all been very good as well. Consistent quality and great flavors make this a place I enjoy returning to.

Google
So, I got the Beef Fried Rice. No flavor at All, portion size wasn't the best especially for the price. $20 after taxes. Hands down especially for the price and flavor the worst fried rice I've had. They have no reason charging that much. The amount of meat you can probably eat with one spoon. I'll never order it again. Hopefully the other food is good, I never really order just fried rice but that's what the lady wanted so here we are .

Google
Everything was perfect! The preserved egg & shredded pork congee was smooth and flavorful, and the fish ball congee with lettuce was comforting and delicious. The wonton & beef ball noodle soup tasted authentic with springy noodles and rich broth. The braised beef brisket & tendon over rice was tender and well-seasoned, and the pan-fried rice rolls were soft with just the right amount of soy sauce. Packaging was neat, sauces included separately, and delivery was fast and warm. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Hong Kong–style comfort food! Authentic flavors & great portions! Highly recommend this Wonton Noodle House!

Google
Wonton Noodle House is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Cantonese noodles. From the flavorful broth to the perfectly crafted wontons, this spot delivers a comforting and traditional dining experience that truly hits the mark. Ambiance: 5/5 The atmosphere is casual and inviting, reminiscent of classic noodle houses in Hong Kong. It’s bustling but not overwhelming, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Authenticity: 5/5 This place nails the essence of traditional Cantonese cuisine. The wonton noodles were exactly how they should be — firm yet springy, with wontons that burst with flavor. The broth was clear, fragrant, and perfectly seasoned. Flavor: 5/5 The flavors here are spot on. The wontons were filled with juicy shrimp, and the noodles maintained just the right texture without getting soggy. Every dish we tried was satisfying, with a great balance of flavors that kept us wanting more. Cost: 5/5 Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and authenticity of the food. You get excellent value for your money. Service: 5/5 The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The food also came out quickly despite how busy it was. Final Thoughts: Wonton Noodle House is a gem for Cantonese food lovers. With a large menu and authentic flavors, it’s a place I’d highly recommend to anyone who enjoys traditional wonton noodle soup. I’ll definitely be returning for more!

Google
One of the best soups I’ve ever had! Soup is so hot that it’s gonna make you alive again in winter. $13 is the starting price as of May 2025. Chewy noodles, good wontons & flavorful beef.

Jason Z.

Google
One of the best to get authentic Chinese/Cantonese breakfast in north Seattle area, especially it has moved closer to 99 Ranch Market (grocery shopping center). Must try Steamed Pork Kidney and Liver ($16 -- please finish before it is still hot/warm otherwise loosing its tenderness), Fried dough sticks, and any congee bowls.

Google
Just had their braised beef with tendon soup. Prob the best I’ve had north of Seattle china town side of wonton was really good too. Their house made chili crisp is excellent

Google
We had been to the original location one time before it was damaged by the fire rescue, and really glad that they have finally occupied the shop in the same block as Ranch 99! We ordered the Wonton Noodle and the Beef Rice Noodle soups. The taste was okay, but the portion was very small. Not a lot of noodle, nor meat… The beef soup tasted too watered down. The broth in the Wonton soup has a great aroma, the noodle and wonton tasted alright, the rice noodle was cooked too long and very soft. Not thrilled overall.

Yelp
Now that I have been here a couple of times I can say that I really love this place and so many of their dishes. Atmosphere: always a good number of people eating in and ordering take out no matter what time it is. But there is a lot of people working and I feel like the service is always fast and on point. Your water glasses are always filled and they come and take your order really quickly and bring out your food really quickly as well. Food: I can recommend quite a few dishes here and almost everything I've had here are delicious. Our favorites are the stirfry beef chow fun, braised beef noodle soup, any of their fried rice, preserved egg meat congee, any wonton soups, and the fried dough with condensed milk. As somebody who grew up in China, sometimes I really just want a nostalgic Chinese meal and this is the place I can count on to deliver that. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are good and I always leave well fed and satisfied.

Yelp
Just a block away from my new office! I'm so happy to know there is my comfort food so close by! Yesterday, I had the fried udon noodles with beef. Today, I'm having Chicken Congee with peanuts! Service is always quick. It's comfort Chinese food. Nothing fancy, just good eats!

Yelp
The food at Wonton Noodle House is comfort food at its best. After a weekend trip of nonstop American food, I wanted to end the weekend on a familiar note and chose to eat at Wonton Noodle House with my friends. The 4 of us came for dinner Sunday evening around 7:30 and it wasn't too packed. The restaurant is your typical no frills Chinese spot with basic furniture and some wall decor. The menu has a good selection of noodle soups, lo mein, congee, and various apps and house specials. We shared the following: Preserved egg and pork congee ($12.50) Beef chow fun ($17.50) Wonton and brisket noodle soup ($15.50) Chicken chow mein ($17) Of the 4 dishes, the congee was my favorite. It was very flavorful and light. I was a bit disappointed by the beef chow fun as it was a bit on the bland side and lacked the wok hei flavor. The wonton and brisket noodle soup was good and hit the spot with the wide ho fun noodles. I didn't eat much of the last dish, the chicken chow mein, but it was a generous portion. Would recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for Cantonese food!

Yelp
Friendly service with decent food. Appreciate being happily welcomed in with a busy weekend lunch crowd, and our orders were taken quickly. Fried rice was pretty good with lots of char siu, but just wish the rice had more char to add flavor. The noodle soups were also decent but the broth was missing something, had to add hot oil to complete it. And the dumplings themselves had a bit of freezer burn flavor to them. Overall not bad but could have been better.
google avatar

Jjade F.

Yelp
Was pretty disappointed with the food. The soup had no favor so was the brisket. Got the flat rice noodles with brisket, the noodles stuck together and it was not cook all the way because It was still hard the inside. The whole bowl of noodles filled with mostly flavorless beef tendon and rarely any brisket. The beef chow fun wasn't good either. We used to come here a lot and don't plan on coming anytime soon.

Yelp
On a Sunday night we went for comfort food to a very packed parking lot and dining area. Obviously people gather in large groups with multiple cars and it was bad this evening. Service was kind though a bit slow including being offered bowls and spoons twice since actually ordering. They were in crisis mode and confused I think. We love this place and always seem to order the same things. One thing here that has changed is the availability of bbq or char siu pork since there their move from the fire. Now it's only available on Sundays and I miss being able to get some with a traditional wonton egg noodle soup. So I ordered that but the add on for a wonton was $2 each?? I just bagged it and got a large pork noodle soup. Wasn't that large, mostly noodles and good broth and very little think cuts of pork. It was good but disappointed about the simplicity and lack of protein on this option. Other Viet-Chinese places I go to give you wonton or Sui Kai with a little thin sliced pork along with charred garlic and pork fat crisps and the flavor level is so much better! One thing here is that their beef chow fun is amongst the best we have ever had in multiple cities and countries! But like their other dishes seems to be lacking protein volume perhaps from the food cost recently? We love wonton house but really they can do better than this! Please bring back bbq pork to shine more in this traditional cuisine.

Yelp
A family favorite! Never fails always delivers. Food is so consistent at Wonton Noodle. Always good! You can enjoy a variety of food at this place. Be it noodle soup, side dishes, congee, all so good. Service is quick. Soups are served hot. Dishes are made to order

Yelp
This place has a very special place in my heart. We've been eating since it's opened way back when. Even after moving to a new location. A true superstar on Yelp! It's comforting, light and delicious! Well balanced flavors and very simple. Great staff and we've grown to appreciate more because they are very attentive and pretty much know that we've been loyal customers: I still highly recommend. Most favorites?? That would be the brisket and tendon noodle soup, the salted. Fried rice with chicken, the beef chow fun! Oh yes! Do not miss this place when you are in the area. You're welcome!

Yelp
This place is a classic! Been coming here since I was a teenager, the food always tastes like a home cooked meal :)

Yelp
4.5 Came here on a Saturday at around 1PM. Place wasn't too packed and I was seated quickly. Ordered #10 wonton and beef brisket noodle soup small portion to eat there and got a beef chow fun with bean sprout dry to take home for later. It came out super quick so even if this place is busy I feel like people would finish their meals quickly. Everything in the noodle soup was delicious and I didn't think anything was under flavored. I probably should have gotten the large portion as it's only 1 dollar more and I ended up snacking earlier in the afternoon, but that's on me. The beef chow fun I heated up for dinner and it was decently flavored. It wasn't too salty and the noodles would have been better if I had eaten it fresh. I'd definitely come here again especially because I want to try the congee next time
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
For wonton soup, this place is pretty good! The broth is quite shrimpy but otherwise, noodle texture is good and wontons are very big and meaty. Aside from the wonton soup, also tried the tripe, chow fun and porridge. Tripe - bland and sauce wasn't very flavorful Chow fun - ok Porridge - good, especially with the Chinese donut Decent spot forsure if you're in WA. They also have fresh soy milk which was a nice treat at the end.
google avatar

Robert Z.

Yelp
The food especially wonton is definitely good and on point, a little rushed in process but overall good, service is mostly on point, typical Chinese restaurant ambiance, good place to drop by for noodles

Eleanor J C.

Yelp
The quality of the food was subpar - even our cats turned up their noses at what was supposed to be chicken. Service was friendly

Yelp
Located inside 99 Ranch Market plaza (on the left side), this little gem of a Cantonese eatery has some of the best wontons and beef chow fun by L.A. standards (which we all know is the Asian food capital of USA.) *****The wonton noodle soup is a little bowl of perfection -- perfect shrimp pork wontons, perfect pork bone broth, perfect bouncy thin egg noodle. *****The beef chow fun is also very memorable -- perfect char, perfect tender marinated beef, and not too much oil or onion! **Boiled kidney+liver -- just OK, a bit hard and rubbery, would not order again.
google avatar

Tammy J.

Yelp
Been coming here for years, was even at their old location before the fire and they moved into the 99 ranch market complex. Simple Chinese food, great wonton noodle soup and dry noodles. Affordable and good portions. You'll leave full or with leftovers for sure.

Steve L.

Yelp
People serving you are super nice. The food comes out quickly and perfect. Besides wonton they have many other items like fried noodles, yummy congee and so much more. The prices are good. Parking is easy. Place is clean and the food is awesome. Wonton is just like Chinatown but closer. Broth is sooo good!! The best!
google avatar

Britt B.

Yelp
This was my first time back since the fire and their move. Man, I missed them. My favorite Lo mein with Wonton is so comforting to my soul. That with a healthy scoop of their house made chili oil is all I need to be happy.
google avatar

Erin W.

Yelp
Came here on a Tue afternoon. The restaurant was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. I ordered one bowl of wonton soup to eat in, and also ordered some for to-go. The wonton soup was delicious and the wontons were bigger than the regular frozen ones you get from the supermarket. Containers for to-go was an additional charge. Parking was easy as there was a parking lot.

Yelp
Wonton Noodle House is owned by Cindy's family, who is also my good friend. My family and I have been here for years because they have the best wonton noodle soup in the area! We were so sad that it closed down for almost a year last summer but so happy for it to be back up right next to Ranch 99. This was my first time trying the jellyfish with preserved egg, I really love the flavor & texture. My go to order is the Homemade Wonton Noodle Soup! I have to say, their fish fillet noodle soup is so underrated, the fish is so sweet and soft. The noodle soup broth is light but delicious and the texture of their noodle is amazing! If you are looking to try a warm bowl of soup with delicious minced pork and shrimp wonton and noodles, check this place out!

Yelp
Cannot find it. The map shows it, but could not find it no matter how far we looked in each direction.

Yelp
I love this place! This food is consistently so delicious. I highly recommend this place! I always get the beef chow fun and the deep fried buns or fried wontons! Service is pretty fast as well!

Yelp
This place makes the best congee I have ever had. Perfect temperature. Super tasty with gentle hints of garlic, ginger, and spring onion. Oh, so good. It even instantly made me feel great. Like a powerful life, energy pulsing through my body after just a few bites. It was my first time visiting the restaurant. And while they had an extensive menu, I chose only to get congee. They must have had twenty-five choices of congee, but I settled on a basic chicken one. It was really hard not to get other things on the menu, but I was picking up food next door. I didn't want to over commit myself to more to eat than I needed or really desired. The restaurant was bustling. What was really awesome was that there were mostly Asian patrons dining. It was a clue to me that this must be a pretty authentic restaurant. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu while also getting more congee.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here for lunch with some friends recently on a Saturday afternoon and were seated promptly. We did family style and shared the beef and wonton lo mein, pork and thousand year egg congee, Chinese broccoli, beef chow fun, wonton noodle soup, and Chinese doughnuts. The highlight for me were the doughnuts which were extremely airy with a nice crunch and they tasted super fresh. I'm pretty sure they are made to order to here which is pretty unheard of at most restaurants. The downfall for me was that most of the dishes lacked flavor. While I appreciated the attentive service, the food left me wanting more. The pricing was fair and the restaurant was spacious and kept clean, but for a restaurant that blew up on social media, I definitely expected the food to be more flavorful.

Laura D.

Yelp
Best noodle dumpling soup ever!! Friendly service. Clean restaurant. Enjoy coming here!!
google avatar

Sabrina H.

Yelp
This is such an amazing spot for a quick meal. The service is super friendly, and super fast. Within like two minutes of placing my order, I got my meal piping hot. The ambience was bustling, and it definitely was reminiscent of a old Cantonese restaurant. I came in here starving, and left super happy. Me and my partner order the beef chow fun and then the beef ho fun noodle soup. The chow fun was done really well, as it had enough "wok hei" and fire to develop the flavors nicely. The noodle soup was also delicious. My only minor gripe was that the noodles were very much stuck together but everything is so amazing that I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Wennie H.

Yelp
Popped in right when they opened and there was already so many people inside! Ordered the soup dumplings and egg noodles, radish cake, pan fried rice rolls, pork and preserved egg congee, and the pan fried chicken rice plate. Everything came out quickly. Things were a touch salty but not overwhelmingly so. The congee was the best dish! The chicken wasn't bad but I think it had too much salt on the exterior. Great experience, super popular,

Heidi H.

Yelp
Goodness! This place has the best wonton soup. Delicious spicy jellyfish. Fresh Chinese donuts. Wonderful fragrant tea. Very Friendly staff. Oh! And cute decor. Don't miss this place on High 99 Edmonds/Lynnwood area Washington....

Yelp
Wonton Noodle House was one of the victims of the Plum Tree Plaza arson over a year ago happily, Wonton Noodle House reopened in the 99 Ranch Plaza in sept 2022. i love the new space. it is at least double the space and tables from the old location. the space has been packed ever since their grand opening. greeting is pleasant and seating is fast. there are 3-4 servers on the floor during lunch. tea and water is promptly brought to the table. the menu may seem huge but it's really just noodles, noodle soup, and congee with assorted appetizers and some entree-style dishes. if you have questions, the servers can aswer. ordering and service to fast and efficient. stir-fried dishes are fresh made. the wonton servings in the soup are generous, and the congee is smooth, silky, and not clumpy in a tasty broth. as with the noodle soups, there are many choices of what to put on the congee. this is perfect food for the cold winter months. highly recommended
google avatar

Timothy L.

Yelp
A really solid Cantonese restaurant in the northend. I came here with one of my friends and we shared the beef chow fun, wonton noodle soup, and the jellyfish with century eggs. The beef chow fun had such a great char and the flavor was super spot on. This was my favorite item we tried. The wonton noodle soup was also comforting and the portion size was big. The wontons were big and packed with shrimp! Finally the jellyfish was super solid and has a nice taste to it. Definitely will be back if I am in the northend or shopping at 99 Ranch!
google avatar

Yelp
The absolute Chinese comfort food! Wonton, dumplings, noodles, and congee (rice porridge). We ordered the wonton fish ball noodle soup and the thousand year (black) egg and shredded pork congee. Given the cold temperatures lately, these warm foods really lifted our spirits. The soup and wontons are homemade and didn't taste powdery or fake at all. You also have the option to add in chili oil, vinegar, soy sauce, and other condiments into your plain soups. Each order is also a big portion! Definitely overestimated how much we could eat as the bowl of porridge alone could have fed the two of us, but we ALSO got a whole bowl of noodles haha. It's a pretty casual restaurant where you pay at the counter after you finish eating. There's also a bathroom available to use in the restaurant. There is a lot of parking in the center and there's 99 ranch (Chinese supermarket) and a Shiseido (Japanese skincare) stores next door!
google avatar

Meekyung J.

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant. Place to go during cold Seattle winters. I usually order the wonton noodle soup or brisket and wonton noodle soup. Soup is on point and really hot when served. Wontons are huge and super hot, so be careful when you bite into it. Beef brisket is great but occasionally there are more of the fascia than meat but they give you a decent amount so if you want just the meat, you might have to pick around it. Service has been pretty fast and efficient most of the time. Make sure you also get an order of Chinese donut to dip into your noodle soup to eat. Not super keto friendly, hence noodle soup but there are some veggie and meat appetizers that you could order instead of noodle soup. The chili oil is also really flavorful without too much spice. I even bought a jar for $6 to bring home. This is definitely my go to place for hot wonton noodle soup!
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
We love taking our family to eat here! It is convenient and they are super sweet and accommodating even for a group of 11. We ordered a variety of food and all came swiftly. The food tastes fairly consistent from prior visits but we were a bit disappointed in the salty fish fried rice - much saltier than before. In the future, we'll ask for less salt. We also love getting the condense milk mantou buns and wonton noodle soup. The gai lan was fine. The stir fry beef noodles was a bit on the drier/fried side and we had better at this place. We'll skip the variety meatball/fishball soup. Normally, I take pictures but we were too hungry.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the new location, parking is abundant and the restaurant is bigger! My thoughts on the food... Wonton noodle soup: noodles taste fresh (maybe house made) wontons are delicious, perfect seasoning and juicy. Soup is not too salty, very comforting. Beef udon noodles: my current favorite dish, flavorful, not soggy, good balance of noodles to veggies/meat. Meat isn't dry taste fresh and good cut of meat. Fried rice: good flavor, not too dry, good meat to veggie ratio. Donuts: fresh, warm, perfect crispy texture on the outside and soft on the inside, good serving of condensed milk. Service: 5 star, staff are friendly, super nice.

Leilani Q.

Yelp
Really nice ladies working here! They even told me that their wonton and dumplings with peanuts are cooked in the same water and asked if I was ok with that d/t my peanut allergy. SO, I ended up getting beef chow fun and chicken salted fish fried rice. :) Tea = 50 cents per person, but absolutely needed for Chinese food Beef chow fun = good char to the noodles, tender beef Chicken and salted fish fried rice = a classic that doesn't miss Chili oil = SO gooooood Really wish I could have tried the wonton noodle soup, but didn't feel like living on the edge that day. Overall, good experience, nice staff, and tasty Cantonese style food!

Yelp
I've had a wonton soup craving and Wonton Noodle House hit the spot. I was quickly seated and served hot tea. The house (loose leaf jasmine) tea was lovey and there was a nice buzz of happy people. After a brief moment with the menu, I ordered a large wonton and fish ball noodle soup and Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce. My order came out quickly and the servers and host were very attentive to my needs and the needs of other patrons. I believe the owner is always there and she politely greets and thanks everyone coming in and out of her restaurant. If you want hot, delicious and a great portion of food for the price - come to Wonton Noodle House. They have tons of seating and a delicious menu to choose from!

Yelp
Great comfort food! Love the fish porridge and add century egg. The wonton noodle is also amazing! Sometimes they have char siew too on certain days which was great as well!

Yelp
Not in the same location as before the fire, but I'm very happy to see this place re-open again. Wonton Noodle House has moved next to Yi Fang in the Ranch 99 Market plaza. I've heard since they've re-opened, the place has been packed. And I heard right, it was a full house when I got in. A lot of people, like me, are glad to see it open. The aesthetics of the place looks a bit fancier, but still keeps that modest small shop look a bit. Although, this isn't so small. It's pretty spacious and has a good amount of seating at this new locale. This was one of my favorite restaurants to go to since the food is delicious and it is the closest wonton noodle house to me. My family came here often in the past and I've learned to appreciate it more over time. The wonton noodle soup and congee hits right here. And there are plenty of other items to get as well. I mostly come here for those two things though. It's simple, well made, and good. Nothing to complain about. Always feels satisfied after a good meal at this joint. Will be a regular for sure.

Yelp
My first time back at WNH since the fire in the old building and the move across the street. I've had the soups but decided I just had to try the Beef Chow Fun and it did NOT disappoint. It is on par with any Chinese dish I've ever had and I used to work near the International District. The place was jammed when I was in there and it's easy to see why. I will be back and you should go too!
google avatar

Anthony L.

Yelp
Been going to this noodle place well before a big fire took down the old location. Quality hasn't changed which is to say a good thing. Portion size is a bit smaller than 7-8 years ago but variety of dishes is about the same. Biggest disappointment is the pricing which has increased faster than inflation. The elevated prices constitute a one star reduction in my book. Otherwise a great wonton cafe that we will be back to - just not as frequently as before.
google avatar

Yelp
Yay!!! Wonton Noodle House is back!!! Pros: very authentic and portion is generous. Easy parking. Cons: not much! It would be nice if they can open longer and daily, but I'm just happy that they are back at all.

Yelp
The soup is wonderful. I love soup. And in an unusual way, I often crave soup when I wake up. My friend is from Singapore and he too craves noodles. So noodle soup is a big deal to us. Wonton Noodle house is a great find, especially since we live in Shoreline. The first good impression I had, was that they were welcoming to me, a Croatian woman. Sometimes I am a bit shy, branch out to different cuisines. If they appear happy to see me, it is reassuring. Was quickly seated and given a menu. My first visit was to share wonton and fish ball soup, plus homemade wonton and dumpling soup. Very nice broth, with delicious wontons and dumplings. I felt emphatic for the staff. Staff appears to have no meal breaks. So, the staff needed to cram their meal food in the back, while still responsible for taking orders is reprehensible. Second visit was takeout of soup. Soup was ready at requested time. Noodles were packed separately, so they did not get soggy in soup. Third time, soup was on point and I love the wontons and dumplings. So nice to get with their Chinese donuts. The staff try really hard to do their best to provide service. A welcome opp to eat great noodle soup and not feel neglected.

Yelp
The shop is Spacious, Clean and staff are Friendly. There are plenty of parking in the parking lot. Food: Wonton Noodle Soup; name of the shop. -Soup is a basic broth without the Cantonese soul ingredient of dried fish, etc. At least, the soup is hot; good temperature. -Wonton is not tasty. -Beef tendon is the decent. -The noodle is with a good chew. I will pass on the wonton noodle soup. -Good portion Chicken Congee -The congee is in good temperature, nice flavor with fresh boneless chicken pieces. Congee texture is spot on creamy; not too thick/runny. Good portion. Stirred Fried Beef Noodle -This is their signature dish of the wonton noodle house. Rice noodle is fresh and soft. The color is perfect. The beef is ok. With a little of soy sauce, it rounded up the dish evenly. Side note, the dish portion is on the smaller side. Two adults finished all 3 dishes. All in all, this is a much needed restaurant with soup noodle, congee and stirred fried dishes in the area. Pls come to the Eastside to fill the missing food gap.

Yelp
Food overall was good and the soup itself was comforting. It was fresh and had a pretty decent portion to. Would recommend this place to someone craving some comfort food!! Service was also good. Felt like they were slightly under staffed due to the large volume of customers and not enough workers.

Yelp
Not what I was looking for. Was looking for Noodle Hut. Tried anyway and ended up not eating most of the food.

Yelp
First time eating here and I was very happy and satisfied with my congee and the sesame balls. The fish almost felt like it was raw, but I heard it was always like that. It tasted good and I'd get it again. I think I will ask how it's prepared though just for peace of mind.

Yelp
This is a new business, reopened since it was burnt down a couple years ago. Ambiance was clean, spacious and organized. Good taffic flow. Business owner had no greeting or attention to incoming customers from cashier counter, with the exception of one server trying hard to provide service on the floor. The wonton was pretty good, packed with shrimp and pork filling, noodle texture was nice al-dente, broth was ok, but an aftertaste of MSG followed. Beef brisket was soft , tender and with good flavor. A side dish of poached cod filet could be done better with finer knifework, it was cut too roughly and chunky. Business location convenient in a strip mall, an access to shoppers for easy fast food while shopping.

Yelp
Not your typical Chinese restaurant. If you're looking for the real thing, you've come to the right place. Location/parking: Next to Ranch 99 on Aurora, lots of parking in the lot. Ambiance: Clean, typical Chinese strip mall restaurant feel. Service: Amazing, food comes out super fast. Food: If you don't know what to order just order the following (we've already gone many times and have narrowed it down to our favorite picks): 1. Wonton noodle soup - especially if it's a cold rainy day - this will perk you right up! 2. Lo-mien with wontons - it's like the noodle soup without the soup. 3. Steamed fish filet - it may not look like much when it gets to the table, but the fish is SOOOOO tender and with the ginger - YUM!!! - but only order this if you like ginger 4. Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce - this checks off the veggie box 5. Shredded pork congee - if you're Chinese this is 100% traditional comfort food. 6. Beef Chow fun - the "wok hey" throws this dish off the charts. 7. Stir-fried radish cake with XO sauce - this packs a flavor punch 8. Beef fried rice - for the not as adventurous eater - we would always get this if there's kids in the group. 9. Finish it all off with Deep fried buns with sweetened condensed milk. I know this looks like a crazy long list, but go with like 5-8 people, you'll maybe have some leftovers, or maybe it'll be so good you just keep eating and then can't believe how much everyone ate. That's what happened to us. Recommendation: This is a place you go to again, and again, and again, It's like that local joint that makes such homey cooking you just keep going back for more.
