wanted to support a local small business. we had some questions and the lady was very rude. rolled her eyes every time we asked anything. paid $39 for 2 sandwiches, a soda, and a side of chicken salad. my sandwich didn’t have lettuce that i ordered & the bacon that i paid extra for was raw. guess we won’t be coming back.

Everything was so amazing! We didn’t expect a corporate park deli shop to be so good. The sandwich shop is tucked away in an office complex . A true gem in the rough. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The employees are very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and appreciated. They use high quality ingredients and their meats are freshly sliced Boars Head deli meats and way better quality than a Subway. We had a pastrami sandwich on a rye bread and it was delicious and also we had the Bomber - the most popular sandwich and hands down the best tasting sandwich ever. Whatever you order from the menu it is made to order and the service is very fast. They definitely need to franchise this concept of a delicious deli sandwiches across the city. Highly recommended!!!

Best sandwiches ever! I finally got to vegas from reno for a week..Got to have the Bomber first omg melts in your mouth so yummy!Then had the spicy Italian so yummy too! Lots of meat super fresh bread! Then I got the joey! I dont like turkey..i like Turkey now! Another yummy sandwhich! Wish they had one in Reno! No sandwich shop comes close to woods family sandwhiches! They are best ever!!! Cant wait to go back to vegas and try more on menu!!!!

Third time I’ve come here and tried to order a pastrami sandwich and the third time they’ve been out. Decided to order another hot sandwich off the menu but it came cold and as I’m eating a couple comes in and the lady working says she only has 1 small hot pastrami left. What?? I totally would’ve ordered that had she told me that. Paid $35 for two sandwiches that weren’t anything to write home about.

Did not expect a corporate park deli to be so good. Sandwich paradise exists at WF Sandwich along with a super bubbly and friendly staff. So just to start you will need to do yourself a favor and get the large as you will enjoy the sandwiches so much. The tomato bisque is also outstanding along with any sandwich but I experienced the Veggie and Pastrami. Skip all the chain places and head here for this little gem but I will tell you that calling ahead will save you some time on line unless you avoid the lunch rush.

Where's the meat?!! I ordered a ham and cheese hoagie that had very little meat on it (not like the pictures on the website) and because it's not a listed menu item it was considered a "build your own" and cost 15 bucks! I would expect more than a few slices of ham for that. I will say the ingredients were fresh but this sandwich was not worth the money. I was not impressed with the taste either. I will NOT be going back.

Seem like the woman that took the order was mad but there was a line and very busy wasn’t sure what I wanted but we got our food and I was very impressed and it died down and she cleaned up after everyone and was happier but this place is a hidden gem. You have to look for it. It is in with a lot of corporate offices. Be prepared to take your food unless you get lucky and find a seat.

Wow! Everything was so amazing! Pastrami fire, Ovengold Turkey fire, Meatball fire! The broccoli cheese had delicious chunks of veggies and I believe potatoes in it too, exactly what a hungry tummy wants all creamy warm and delicious! The soft, warm bread ends were wonderful and dipped well in the soup.

I work right down the street from here and as a company, we frequently order food from Woods. Lately though, we've been getting their breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches are made on bagels, either everythjng or plain, with the perfect egg, bacon and melted cheese. They hit the spot! It's cute as heck inside, there's just enough seating with some old school games sprinkled in. They have some ice cream options, beer and beef jerky to go along with their homemade sandwiches. Service is awesome, they're super nice and the OG family still owns and operates it. Highly recommend Woods Family Sandwiches!

We "heart" Woods!! Seriously folks, this tiny spot makes some darn fine sandos! Family owned & close to home, using only top quality ultra fresh ingredients. Each of these set Woods Sandwiches' apart from the rest, in my neck of the woods anyway. :) I personally love the Italian wrap, but my Hubs loves the homemade tuna sub- so yum-o! Woods Family Sandwiches offers a "served all day menu". Including: Breakfast (bagels,coffee,wraps) , Soup of the day, salad options, build your own or make it a combo with potato salad, kettle chips or slaw and a fountain drink. *Kids menu available. This little spot is easy to miss and mostly take out. Although, they offer a small dine in area. Always super friendly service served with a smile.

A bit of desperation finally led me to visit this neck of the Woods. Woods Family Sandwiches is a successful sandwich shop in Henderson not far from Touro University. I've been aware of them for their over 9 years of existence but hadn't bothered to try them for one reason or another until I was stuck getting nearby-ish car service and needed a walkable lunch option. That said, I don't recommend walking there in the summer. It's an unrelenting task and I immediately made alternative plans for the return trip. But they welcomed me warmly and quickly and got my sandwich ready right away as I had beaten the lunch rush there. Whether it was the influence of our departed Yelp Elite Lauren C., the need for something cold after my journey, or my reading of this as a housemade recipe, I chose a large Tuna Salad ($11.99). I guess it defaulted to white bread, which I didn't mind except that it didn't really lend much to the texture. Lightly heating the leftover half at home later added a nice crunch. The tuna salad mixture was not too mayo-y or salty, and the veggies were fresh. Nothing was unique or amazing flavor-wise, but it was a very solid tuna sandwich. I had to get out the door in a hurry and they were very nice in wrapping up and bagging my leftovers quickly. They had also provided a water cup for me to use (water option is on the tea dispenser, not the soda fountain), as well as Olympics coverage already on one of the TVs for me to keep up with the excitement. I'll have to come back to Woods Family Sandwiches under better circumstances to explore more of the menu. I've been getting bored of the chains lately, so this is a great alternative for me and other Henderson residents.

I've been eyeing Wood's on Yelp for quite some time and finally made my way to check it out. Wood's is located off of Gibson and American Pacific near some warehouses and the Valley Auto Mall. The store wasn't busy yet since I came just before lunch, I ordered two Hot sandwiches, The Hot Pastrami, the hot pastrami #2 and also a cold ham and cheese sandwich. I loved the Regular Hot Pastrami, it was loaded with quality meat, (Boar's head) pickles, red onion, pepperonis, mustard, and a 3 pepper cheese blend, I also tried the #2 sandwich which has Pastrami, 1000 island, cheese and homemade coleslaw, I thought it was good, but I would definitely get the reg Pastrami sandwich when I come again, the flavor of the slaw in my opinion was a little bland, but I've heard that the #2 sandwich is the most popular. All around a great sandwich spot that I will be frequenting, just note they are NOT open on Weekends, I was craving a sandwich from them and had to go elsewhere, no biggie, but I do believe they have catering available on Saturdays per request.

A tasty family o/o sandwich shoppe pops up in the middle of a commercial/industrial park. It's a warm and cozy little diamond in the rough. You feel the warmth the minute you walk in and I don't mean the ovens. They keep things clean and the prices fall in line. The Bomber is their best sandwich, a bit light on the meat, still great tasting. The key ingredient to this sandwich is the chicken salad. They use Boar's Head products. Explains the great taste. They do get busy, but move quickly. It's small but mostly take away and the owner is a peach. Just around the corner from the apartment makes this a go to for us. 04/24

Happened to be in the neighborhood and looked for a quick bite for lunch. Woods didn't disappoint! Family owned: the owner was there and lovely. We had a turkey sandwich and egg salad. Yummy, filling, and nice little cozy spot! Support your local sandwich shops

Everytime I go to Las Vegas, without fail... I always want an egg salad sandwich for lunch... that being written ... Las Vegas is NOT the East Coast, and finding what I call 'comfort' food - is truly hard to find. This is one of the reasons, why I love YELP!, and I do always go to YELP! for reviews.. and?! I found Woods... boy, am I super happy that I did. I got the most amazing sandwich, thank you, truly - to all the posts about the Bomber.. however, I did it my way - because, it seems that I always do - and, instead of ordering it the way it came - I got it cold.. and?! as the foodie that I am - YOU DONT NEED TO HAVE PASTRAMI HOT - ;) and, it was beyond beyond beyond delicious... definitely filled the spot that I had and now I have the place to go, when I want a sandwich... When I went to pick up my sandwich (and, my Team's sandwiches too), I was enthralled with this little mom n pop type store... the place was so cute, filled with a couple of arcade games I used to love to play with and they even had gum ball machines, I think filled with runts.. I was in heaven. And?! you know when you get ice from the fountain drinks... if you're like me and love the crushed ice?!? Wellllll... Woods has crushed ice too... The place was jam packed and the lady Arlene was so amazing... she even called Ruben, our Production Manager, to make sure I got back and that everything was okay... how phenomenal is that?! When I'm close by doing some of my things, I like to stop in to this great Family Owned small business. I mean you get a great lunch served by real happy,grateful people at a more than fair price! If you like the way this sounds you should check them out! Oh but be warned they are not open weekends!

Ordered the 6" Bomber sandwich! Definitely a foodie! Enjoy a good sandwich.. Generally looking for a good blend of flavors. This sandwich hit just right!! Shout out to K. Heiselbetz for a trusted recommendation . I'll be back for sure.

They make an excellent sandwich I loved their black forest ham. I found out they are also gluten-free even their chips.

I happened across this place when I was googling sandwiches near me. So glad I did! The ingredients were very fresh and plentiful. Bread was great and so were the meatballs I added as a side dish for dinner! Staff was so friendly and it's obviously popular. I will be a customer.

Mood - Craving but unsure what it is Have you ever wanted something. But you didn't know what. And you know it's not something like a bag of chips that can make it go away. And when you've reached that point of dire hunger, you usually go with your Go-To before the hangry sets in. Well that was me. Pastrami is always on my Go-To list Upon entering there was a small line forming. It was lunch of course and I could tell the hangry was present amidst all of us in there. Lol you order, pay, find seating, and it is brought out to you. I opted for Pastrami #2. This was my first time having a Pastrami sandwich set up this way. And goodness all those flavors meshed perfectly well together. I'm all for trying new things out and I'm surely glad I did with this lunch. Interior is quaint. There are a couple of table and chair arrangements indoors along with a small outdoor seating area as well. In addition a small waiting area as well. The staff were very courteous and hospitable. Love great customer service Would recommend- pricing was reasonable for the portions. I didn't know what to expect and I was pleased with the whole experience. Location is Gibson / American Pacific Dr- parking gets very congested.

My second time in did not disappoint! My friend and I shared the hot Black Forest ham sub. The bread was fresh, the veggies were crisp and fresh, the condiments complimented the sub, and did not overpower it. The staff is always friendly and timely. It's a simple environment, but always clean and welcoming!

Woods is the best local family owned sandwich shop in the area! Every sandwich is a hit and you can even make it into a salad. The workers are very kind and sweet, they remember your face and even order sometimes. It's a very small, but cozy home like sandwich shop. It's one of a kind spot here in Henderson. As a student, it is reasonable and walkable to my school.

I totally forgot to take pictures here and also of my sandwich but dang this place hit the spot, I got the sub that has egg salad and pastrami, I just love a good mix of these flavors. The egg salad here has just enough mayo mixed in while the pastrami is very tender and not overly salty so they complement each other really well. The guy taking the order isn't the friendliest and welcoming but I can deal with that once in a while and this is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star. Other than that if I'm in the area I'd be back to grab a sandwich and catch some dull customer service lol.

I really wanted to like this place. If the staff wasn't friendly I probably would have given it one star. My wife and myself ordered Togo so we didn't check anything until we got home. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and it only came with chicken salad only. It didn't come with any lettuce, tomato, or any other condiments. What made me order it was seeing others order it on here and post pics with the condiments inside. My wife ordered a turkey with added bacon she said the bacon inside was just chewy. I'll try this place at least one more time and will amend my review if my next experience is any better.

Possibly the most balanced pastrami sandwich I've had in a long time. I say balanced because this brief meal satisfied me in a way that made my whole day a lot easier; it's hard to explain. I'm a real picky eater, and I always find flaws in just about everything in life. But this time, I got what I paid for. A good sandwich! The bread was soft and warm, the pastrami was plentiful and seasoned well, the coleslaw and Russian dressing were a perfect combination. You will pay more than other sandwich places but I would say that the quality makes it worth it. I would definitely come by and try a different sandwich whenever I am in this area again.

I've been to a couple of sandwich shops hidden inside commercial complexes. Woods Family Sandwiches is the latest that I've tried. And let me tell you, I was struck immediately by the smell of toasted bread. They have actual toasters as opposed to the microwave toasters of Subway. That was cool to see. I watched my sandwich go into the toaster and come out happy. I went with a hot pastrami #2. It is a pretty classic sandwich done well. Pastrami, cheese, Russian dressing and coleslaw. Not quite a Reuben but in the same family. This was just such a good sandwich. Perfectly sliced tender pastrami. Not at all fatty or chewy. Creamy coleslaw and dressing. Crunchy toasted bread. My mouth is watering thinking about it again. I would happily order it again. As I was about to pay for my sandwich, which is all I was there for, I saw the chocolate chunk cookies. They were staring at me and calling to me. So I got one. It was a good cookie. The chocolate chunks were great. I could probably do without it next time but it sure did make for a tasty pre-lunch snack on the drive home. And it was safer to eat on the road than the sandwich would have been. I've only been in once but I don't think that was the last time. I'll come back for another sandwich or wrap. Now that I know where it is, its an easy choice for lunch.

I am so glad my hubby found them on IG! The bomber was soo good, the pastrami reminded me of my childhood sandwich I would grab from the deli when I would go on a field trip and the combo of the egg salad, great combination. The Italian always my fave anywhere I go and this didn't disappoint.. especially the bread, so soft. I'll be coming back to try the others very soon! Let me add the service was pleasant and sandwiches were ready in no time!

Great service as soon as I walked in.. I was having trouble figuring out what to get and a worker said everything is good which I believe because I can't wait to go back and try everything else. I got the oven gold turkey sandwich and their turkey chili which came with a side of bread. Both were amazing , great flavors. My husband got the Black Forest ham which was also great. Ambiance feels very family oriented and homey which I love. They had a little pac man machine which was free and my 3 year old played on it while we waited for our food. Def will be back soon

My boyfriend and I are sandwich fiends and take them very seriously. After a hike we were looking for a sandwich spot and this popped up. Took everyone's advice and got the Pastrami #2 and the chicken salad and split them. Verdict: if we lived in the area, this would be a weekly spot. The pastrami had the perfect mesh of flavors, the chicken salad wasn't too mushy. The bread was perfectly crisp on the pastrami and perfectly chewy on the chicken salad. Next time we're in the Vegas area, we'll be coming back!

This is my fav spot in Henderson to grab a sandwich. I love their "build your own" options & their potato salad is delicious. The service is always quick, there's tables for inside dining and outside . It can be hard to find since it is in a business district area and they're a little pricey but the quality of food is worth it .

I had this in my list to try. I finally made it yesterday and had the Bomber and it was the bomb. I enjoyed talking with staff and while location is out of the way will return.

The foo is awesome and the service is great fast. The ambiance they could use mere seating it is great place to come eat food is awesome but would recommend a park or take it home cause to get a seat might take a while.

Woods Family Sandwiches is a solid spot for sandwiches if you're in the area. Find them in an industrial parkway on American Pacific near Gibson Road. One of my favorite parts of this shop is all of the house made foods like egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, potato salad, and macaroni salad. They have a full menu of cold and hot subs and sandwiches. The potato chip stand offered quite a few options and they have ice cream and cookies for dessert. The service was friendly. I called my order in and it was ready when I arrived about 10 minutes later. In the past my orders were ready not long after calling it in. They also have online ordering for pickup or delivery through apps like Postmates. I've had a good experience ordering from here through Postmates. Recently, I ordered a Tuna Salad Sub and Potato Salad. The sub is available in 6, 9, or 12 inches. The six inch sub was plenty of food for me, especially with the generously portioned side. The tuna salad was tasty and I liked the amount of lettuce, tomato, and onion on top. The potato salad is tangy and delicious too. I liked it more than I did a few years ago when I first tried it. My toddler gobbled up all of the tuna salad and potato salad I shared with her, asking for more. I've also had their Egg Salad and liked that. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu so I'll be calling in orders more often.

I have had the pleasure of dining here twice now for lunch. Both times I have experienced good food and great service. I am always looking for the best homemade chicken salad and although I have already found it in another state, this place does make a delicious one. I have enjoyed it twice now with potato salad as my side. They give you a choice of breads for your sandwich and serve them wrapped in paper cut in half. Very sanitary! There are plenty of other sandwiches to choose from and any sandwich can be made into a salad. Not a big place, but there are a couple of tables to eat at and catering is also offered. Very busy here during lunchtime. Location is easy to find and near the Valley Auto Mall. Service has been terrific both times. They always ask me how I liked my lunch which tells me they care. Although this sandwich shop is far from my home, if I am in the area I will come here again.

Great service even though their internet was down to use credit cards. But she helped to get to their site and order online. I had the pastrami #2. It was so good. Will definitely be back when we are over there

Very clean and cute inside. There's a little area for the kids. An arcade game and a baby table with toys. Very warm, welcoming, and family-like inside. The staff were all incredibly respectful and lighthearted. The sandwiches were freshly made to order using fresh ingredients. We ordered "The hot pastrami hot sub # 2" to share because it was a large sandwich. The pastrami was loaded and very flavorful. The thousand island sauce surprisingly made the entire sandwich pop. It comes with tasty coleslaw.

The owner is very nice and the sandwiches are great. We got the hot chicken pesto sandwich and the Italian. The ingredients tasted fresh and the meat was boars head. They also have "the good" ice if you know what I mean. They also serve alcohol. We will be back!

This was possibly the best sandwich place in Henderson, the food was so good when I got my grilled cheese and tomato basil the cheese test was amazing the soup was so delicious and it was super creamy. The staff was so super nice, it was so clean in the restaurant and they had sighs everywhere about their amazing food!

Went today for the first time, got two small sandwiches and 2 drinks. Soda machine wasn't working , they have bottle soda also, So asked for a cup with ice for the soda, older lady refused the cup at first then kinda tossed it at us and mumbled I'm not going to argue with you. For a little over 35 dollar order (with tip) I think a plastic cup with ice isn too much to ask for. Food was good, but won't be back.

I had done some searching on Yelp for a place for lunch following our hike in the Las Vegas Bay area. This was close to where we carpool so I bookmarked it and we stopped after our hike. It was a quiet late morning and there were few customers. We looked at the menu and opted for two sandwiches--my friend got a small Blazing Buffalo crunchy sub and I got a medium Ovengold turkey. Payment was fast with Apple Pay. We also got iced teas. After getting the iced teas, we took our seats at a table near the classic video games they have. Within a very brief time, the sandwiches were ready. I was surprised my name was called so quickly. The Ovengold turkey comes with Ovengold turkey, cheddar cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, pepper house gourmaise, and their house seasoning. he Blazing Buffalo comes with Buffalo chicken, crunchy fried onions, lettuce, and bleu cheese dressing. The sandwiches were served on fresh, soft rolls. Each sandwich was wrapped in paper and then cut in half. My sandwich was very good and my hiking companion liked her Blazing Buffalo and remarked that it wasn't really that spicy hot but she liked the crunchiness of the fried onions in the sandwich. Yet again Yelp came through. I have a number of places in the area bookmarked for when we hike at the section of Lake Mead so we'll depend on Yelp again in the future.

A friend had been raving about the egg salad sandwich at this place and I thought I'd give it a try and WOW. The bread is soft and chewy - tastes homemade and as fresh as breads come. The egg salad is impeccable, OMG. I don't even know how to explain how good it was. Again, definitely tastes homemade. The combination of the egg salad and bread is literally to die for. I'm so happy I found this place. Will be coming back for many more breakfasts AND lunches to come.

I stopped by to check out this sandwich shop after seeing a recommendation on youtube. I really like the service and my sandwich was great. I did get the ham sandwich. The bread was good quality. It had just the right amount of ingredients to make this sandwich pretty tasty. I don't have a favorite yet, but I should be a repeated customer. I would recommend this shop.

I love coming to this place! The ambiance is inviting and comfortable and the lady who takes orders at the counter is super sweet. I've only had three varieties of sandwiches and all of them have been great! I honestly feel like you can't go wrong no matter which sandwich you get. I will say though, I recently had the French Dip sandwich and felt the meat and au jus could use a little more seasoning but it was still really good and better believe I ate the whole sandwich! I highly recommend this place to anyone who's in the mood for a good ol' sandwich!
