The host & hostess were some of the rudest people I've ever experienced in my life when it comes to restaurant etiquette. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Our waiter (Mi-hi-low) (sp?) was great.
The restaurant has a BIG "no dogs " "service dogs - see hostess" sign posted in front, but since I have a legitimate service dog (for seizure disorder - with medical prescription and medical clearance), I proceeded to the hostess stand and asked for a table. Bitter/scowl faced hostess said, in a very angry & disgusted manner, "no dogs allowed!" so I had to explain he is a service dog but she still refused to seat me. I told her she can't refuse to seat me, that's against the laws of our state. She proceeded to ask what service he provided, I explained, even though it's illegal for her to ask me what service he provides me. I told her & she rolled her eyes and made us wait to be seated through several table seatings. I should have left but didn't want to give her that win. Both she & the male host stood at the hostess counter the entire time we were dining, deliberately trying to make us feel uncomfortable & unwelcome. They literally glared at us, scoffed at my dog, and told incoming guests that I am a rule breaker. Words to describe are unprofessional, ignorant about the laws their industry should know well, and obviously very angry I was there. Clearly, they are on the wrong industry if they get so bent out of shape about a 20 pound dog sitting under an outdoor picnic type table sitting on the dirt ground beneath it. Not to worry. I won't go back there as long as either of those two hosts are employed at this establishment.
