Great spot Order on line quick Stayed to eat for great Music Cheese steak and cheese sauce and white american I’d be in trouble I live this way

Wanted to try this place cause I am a big cheese steak fan. It’s literally across the street from my job, so I ordered the extras which is weird that getting mushrooms and bell peppers on a cheese steak is extra when that’s how their made. Other places ask u if u want those things taken out since that’s the original way. But anywho I paid the extra for cheese, cheese wiz peppers and mushrooms. Once I get my sandwich open it up it’s no cheese wiz so I return and the lady working there acting all annoyed and gives me some cheese wiz but I tell her it’s no mushrooms either and if I paid extra I want them for sure. Well she doesn’t believe me and I open the sandwich to show her and she points out a slice of mushroom in the whole damn foot long… ( and there canned mushrooms which is disrespectful) I paid and extra dollar for a sliver of a mushroom so paid for half a can of mushrooms and got one piece. I despise business that charge extra for everything but it never looks like extra on the meal. I’ll continue getting my cheesesteaks at Philly G slightly cheaper but FULLY loaded. This is a good places for people who don’t care for veggies cause they stingy with the produce. Can yall spot the two mushrooms TF

The loaded wedges are so good! Great portions. Pricing is fair, customer service has always been great every time I’ve visited. The cheesesteaks are on point too, lots of meat, bread is always fresh just GOOD. I would definitely recommend you give them a try.

Woody's is obviously a classic staple in Atlanta, the Irby Ave location is no different. Although this location is the newest it sees hundreds of customers a day. The food is always ready within 2 minutes and the service is always warm, kind and welcoming. You see the same faces every visit which gives it the small restaurant feel that it is. All in all you know what Woody's is just like I do, never change, keep this successful formula going!

The customer service at 10 PM on a Sunday was great. Curb side delivery. Everything was hot and cooked to order. We really ordered to much. I was not expecting the so much.

As much as I like cheese steaks, I'll be avoiding all Woody's locations. I don't need a side of racism. If Woody's was smart, they'd fire these employees, come up with a game plan to treat all customers with respect, and hire new staff who can follow that motto. Hint.... you see what people can do to Target. Imagine the effect on your smaller business.

This place was great! The staff was friendly, the location was clean and the food tasted great. The only down side is they do not accept cash so if you’re a person who normally uses cash if you go here bring a card or use tap to pay.

This place is my go to for cheesesteaks in Atlanta. I typically order through uber eats but I've been inside as well and I've never been disappointed with the service, everyone is always really welcoming. I love the seating inside too, it feels like a real sandwich place and up beat where you can get in and get out or you can stay and enjoy your food. My ONLY issue is the cost. It could be just an uber eats thing, I'm not sure. But The sandwich on its own is fine, but the potato wedges are like $5. Other than that, I love everything else!

Let me just say I appreciate reasonable prices. I got Cheesesteak Philly with peppers $10.25. Almost unheard of, anywhere. The cashier, Misael, was patient with a smile. Came in just to try it. I didn't have any real expectations, but it was so good I ordered another before leaving. Thanks for the goodness. It would be nice to have more options, but oh well.

I was craving a cheesesteak one night on my way home from work. I'm grew up in the Northeast so I'm very particular about my cheesesteaks. This one met my expectations and was pretty good. The fries were well seasoned, though I thought the cheese was going to be on top of the fries but still good. Cheesesteak was pretty good too. It's a hole in the wall so don't expect anything fancy. They made the food pretty quickly too! I will definitely return in the future!

Amazing Philly cheesesteak! This is my first time trying Woody's and it did not disappoint! I was impressed with the quick service. I called in my order and drove to the establishment and my food was ready for pick up within 10 minutes steaming hot. I'll be back soon!

Was down in Atlanta visiting and my brother recommended this place. It's inside a food hall. The hall has a small section for seating and along the wall. So we ordered our sandwiches and sat down while they were being prepared, which didn't take long about 5 minutes. So when we got it, it was still hot and fresh. It was overall a good steak& cheese. Very flavorful and good. Only thing is it may have needed a little bit more cheese. I'd recommend it, and if you're in the area give it a try.

Went here while visiting Atlanta and wohhhmyygoodness! These were the best cheesesteaks I've ever had! I ordered the chicken Philly cheesesteak through the website and as soon as I pressed send on the order, it was ready in literal minutes. When I arrived the fries were hot, ready, fresh, and cooked to order! I will say the wedges are seasoned to perfection! If you don't like seasoning just say less seasoning but other than that I say the seasoning is perfect! I would also recommend ordering the chicken cheesesteak with some sort of sauce if you need it. All in all, I will order from this place again and again everytimee I come!!

I went to this place the other day for the first time and was very happily surprised. It was a Friday afternoon around 3 pm and needed a late lunch at a casual place. I had the Philly cheese steak and my friend had the chicken sandwich. The sandwich with drink and chips was about $12. When I received it it was larger than I expected for the price and that thing was loaded. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish it. The place was a hole in the wall kind of place but I'll definitely be going back. Good value.

Best cheesesteaks in Atlanta. The bread is fresh, the Cheese Whip is perfect, and the grilled onions are spot on. Delivery is fast and efficient. Such a good late night treat!

The food just real smack . I'm literally licking my teeth. The service was sharp and quick . They say 5 it a woody 5 . It's a nice place to come when you hungry and ready to end your night with a good meal . Inside sitting.

The parking lot is pretty small but they have additional parking in the back. The venue is in a strip mall with other restaurants. Be careful where you park. I ordered my meal once I got there. Cozy on the inside. Most of the restaurant is the cooking area but there are like 7 booths and 7 bar tops. It can probably hold about 30 customers. I ordered Woody's cheesesteak with all the toppings, extra meat, and extra cheese. The cashier was extremely nice. Top tier customer care from the venue. The cheesesteaks taste great and are filled with meat. Probably the best cheesesteaks in the city.

Never let's me down, especially at night :) When I'm in the mood for a decent Philly, I prefer the Piedmont location, but the Irby spot is decent as well. I can always get a well- stuffed Philly with papers and onions, and the potato wedges are A MUST! I did note that now, after 9pm, they are limiting the menu to subs and fries. So no shakes or hot dogs, etc. - NO BUENO! Also, parking is limited to a handful of spots, so get creative where you need to.

It was honestly ok. Definitely overpriced & overrated. To specialize in cheesesteaks you would think it would be amazing but the sandwich was soggy, the meat had no flavor & it was just super basic.

If you've ever had a polish sausage in Chicago, get that out your head right now. You're just hurting yourself thinking about it and I care about you as a friend. It's not even close. Not even remotely close.

A no in my book, I'd rather go to Big Dave's. My girlfriend and I came in shortly after New Years. The restaurant was virtually empty. We ordered a cheesesteak and an order of fries to split between the two of us. We ordered the food, and it was immediately ready. As in, pre-made. We were a little confused, but sat down to try it out. A total waste of money. The fries had that leftover taste, you know the one I'm talking about. When you try and eat fries the next day? That type of feeling. I ate one fry and immediately took it back, requesting a fresh order. They declined and said that everything is premade at this time of night, and the fryer is off. Excuse me? We also cannot get a refund. Again only one fry was eaten, we might've taken it back to the counter 60 seconds after we left it. The Philly itself had soggy bread due to the fact that it was already pre-made. That's the foundation of a Philly, so if you don't have that, then the rest is pointless. We left shortly thereafter, hungry and disheartened. Giving customers premade food, especially at that price, is ludicrous. Too much competition to have poor food and poor service. Their food may be better at other times of day, but this experience well cause me to not go back. Big Dave's it is!

Over cooked meat. Asked and paid for extra cheese and didn't get it. Ran by untrained employees.

Still great, a lot cheaper than The Mad Italian ($14) or Dave's ($18) for the same Cheesesteak.

The best cheesesteak I've eaten (which isn't many, but it's delicious :)) just go, you won't be disappointed.

Even though this is one of my favorite places...this trip was not a good experience like normal. The lady on the grill had a horrible attitude and didn't even chop up the meat on my Turkey Philly. She left of the meat in whole pieces with messed up the entire taste and experience that I normally get. I order 5 sandwiches all with double meat and extra cheese and the good stuff. And in the end no one enjoyed the sandwich and we go rid of them . Complete waste of time and money. They need to get the old staff back and get rid of the current staff . The Guy that took my order was very pleasant and friendly. Don't know if I will revisit this location.

Best chicken cheesesteak!! Service is extremely fast (5 minute wait) and staff is friendly. Parking is the only downside as they have 2 spots. Inside has a good amount of seating tho. For sure give the cheesesteaks and try and the cold subs too!

In and out at 3am on a Sunday morning walking a thin line! lol. The cheesesteak was every bit of delicious and I don't know if it was me or my influence that made me so excited to see potato wedges, but either way what I felt was genuine! The I walked in during their final moments open, the staff told me what was available and I walked out with my food immediately after swiping my card! OMG. I did not know about this location, but it seems more up to date with a great night vibe and place to sit under the lights at night. I'll be back.

Third time is the charm. Ordered again yesterday and it was delicious! Now I see why people rave the way they do. Lol...Not sure what happened the previous 2 visits but I assume it was because it was late night?!? None the less this order was piping hot, they remembered my cheese whiz, and the wedges were fresh and crispy!

The cheesesteak was amazing. Got it wit Wiz. Food came out very quickly. Service was so-so. Just a little engagement would have went along ways. Especially for those first time visit.

I ordered cheese stale with mushrooms and peppers the steak was not salted which is good for me you can always salt your self. The cheesestake was awesome and they make there own steak sauce that is out of this world. The staff is nice and friendly a must stop in. FYI I chose this place because they had 4.5 stars and everywhere else had 1.5- 2 stars.

First time at Woody's. Got the Pepper Steak which was delicious. Make sure to get the steak sauce on the side. Also got the Italian sausage which could've of been better but still good. The service was great, the gentleman taking orders was friendly and polite. Clean spot. Will be back.

The worst sandwich I've ever gotten in my entire life. Maybe two pieces of chicken on the whole sandwich when we paid for double meat. Embarrassing.

Had lunch there and everything was fresh and delish. I really liked the seasoning on the potato wedges and the cheesesteak was SO good. We'll be coming back.

I stopped by Woody's on a Sunday night after a full day of Sunday Funday activities in Buckhead to knock off the hunger edge. Woody's is definitely a good spot to check out if you want food that's good, fresh, and quick service. They are located in the middle of Buckhead Bars so its a prime location for after hours. I've eaten it both during normal ours and after hours and it is consistent. I am not a dairy/cheese lover so as far as the full Philly Cheesesteak experience; I can't speak for that. However, I do get the philly steak without cheese and add onions and peppers and it is amazing! The bread is so soft and flavorful and OH ADD FRIES! They are wedge cut and full of cajun season on them. The fries are always burn your tongue fresh. They have very minimal drink options (alcoholic wise), but food-wise they will meet your taste buds. Definitely a good spot to check out when in Buckhead or you want a philly cheesesteak.

Do your self a favor-get the loaded wedges. That is a meal itself and in my opinion, it's better than the cheesesteak. They also have cold sandwiches which are good. I like to get their BLT if I'm not getting the wedges.

Please start cooking the meat to order or close. Or at least let me wait while you cook if fresh. I was told that wasn't even possible when I asked. That meat looked like it had been sitting there for a while.

This would've been the perfect cheesecake if it weren't sooo SALTY! No one greets you when you walk through the door and everything is precooked not fresh to order! Which is a bummer! The wedges are DRY no flavor & stale! They have NO combos you pay everything separately so the nasty sandwich & dry wedges came upto $13! I won't be back it's a NO FOR ME!!

I finally found a NEW spot to replace the closure of Roy's Cheesesteaks. Woody's has some really good cheesesteaks. Have them add extra cheese.... remove your jewelry before you dive in. Great food and great team. Try the milk shakes while you are here too.

Love my Philly with mushrooms, onions, and extra cheese/fries was superb, however not all the cooks are the same I've noticed but glad the dude I like was there this day to bless me with a delicious meal.

I enjoyed the place. The chicken cheesesteak and that special dipping sauce is A1. Friendly cashier , everything cooked to order . I will definitely go back to try their subsadwhich and milkshakes. Parking is super limited

Came here on grand opening day. The price for a full cheesesteak at under $8 is a great deal. I got the peppers steak and chose whiz as it's more authentic. They provide American cheese by default. I've had cheesteak at almost all of the famous places in philly and I gotta say the bread woodys uses is strikingly similar to what I've had in philly. Maybe they get it shipped down from amoroso or found a place that is really good at making a clone. The wedge fries are decent though they could use more seasoning. In any case, I'd totally go back and if the parking was better this place would probably get a five star review. However I'd probably only go back at night after the bars or at a time when I could easily find parking. If you're driving to this place, expect to pay $5 to park as they only have a few spaces and the only other lot you can freely park in charges $5, even if you're only doing a to go order. All other local businesses cone off their lot.

Amazing food, very fresh and was ready earlier than expected. A great inexpensive choice for a large amount of food. I placed an online order for pickup. The restaurant is nice and the employees are very friendly. I got the chicken cheesesteak and added mushrooms, along with a side of wedges. The cheesesteak itself was delicious and the fries were top tier. Everything was perfectly seasoned. 100% recommend.

Heck yeah Woody's. I recommend Woody's because we've ordered delivery from them twice and both times we were very happy. I've got probably too much experience with online delivery ordering and in my humble experience consistency is king. I know ordering from Woody's is going to grant a pretty darn good cheesesteak and some banging sides. Pretty darn good you might say? What do want somebody to fly you down a 9 Mechelin Star cheesesteak from Pat's on a Leer Jet? Woody's is great, they know what they're doing. Stop reading reviews and order already. I don't like the whiz it's too salty, but my wife drinks the stuff and loved it. I go Provolone wit.

Completely unorganized. Takes forever to receive oder. Poor communication. Worse customer service. Wish I could give A positive review as it's close to my house. Delicious food

Went on an Ugly Christmas sweater bar crawl in the area and we definitely needed to eat. Woodys is open late so we decided to stop in. Our cheesesteaks were made to order and were piping hot and fresh! We could barely eat it lol overall a great experience at Woody's!

I was on the hunt for potato fries, so I to called in and when I arrived the service was great and the food was fresh!!

Was out having Sunday Funday and this was the last stop on the tour . There was no line at all so we were able to walk right in and get our food . Customer service was outstanding and the sandwich was extremely fresh. Some of the best bread that I have ever had on a philly . I went in for the chicken philly and sadly they ran out :-( , so I opted for the Turkey instead. It's more so deli meat Turkey chopped up with cheese on top but it's still delicious and was extremely fresh . They also have a dipping sauce that you can get and it was very delicious. Will definitely be going back so that I can try the chicken !

The cheese steaks here are absolutely amazing. I have no complaints at all. It's a bit pricey, but I'm not sure what one is to expect in Buckhead during these times. Make sure you get a shake!

I ordered the cheesesteak with mushrooms, bell peppers, and jalapeños. The jalapeños gave a drastically great taste. The whiz wedges had an amazing seasoning and a cheese cup on the side that had great texture. The chocolate milkshake was slightly thick but still had great taste. Kind of sad there was no sweet tea left when we got there, and the soft drink option was not the best. But the service was very fast as well as very friendly and welcoming!!

This was actually pretty good. I've tried the location off Monroe years ago and glad to see there expanding. All cheesesteaks are the same size (10" sub). Parking is a challenge based on their location so be prepared. I'd imagine it's better if you're simply walking in the area. I'm only giving a 3 due to the fact there were no clean tables. I don't work here so can't quite grasp cleaning off a spot for myself. All in all I'm open to trying it again.

Stopped here on a work trip to Atlanta. Arrived in town late and found this gem! I got the mushroom steak, wedges and a Oreo shake. Will be visiting again.

Holy crap idk how this place has four stars but I've never had a more trash Philly in my entire life. Bread? STALE. But that's literally all you're eating since they don't put any toppings. I wouldn't have cared if they filled it with just onions at that point but there was literally nothing on it. I had to recheck my receipt and see if I ordered incorrectly and I didn't. Tossed the sandwich out almost immediately and I DO NOT WASTE FOOD nor give low reviews. I'm telling you, I will eat anything and this place had me comfortable enough to waste money and a meal. Usually I don't take the time to write bad reviews because it does nothing for the business, but I had to for Woody's. I was hoping my meal was an isolated incident but unfortunately my coworkers experienced the same thing at separate times so on their behalf they said find somewhere else.

Pretty much obsessed with their cheese steaks. Without the cheese. Extra veggies please. Sandwich heaven. Boom.
