Where to Go When You Can’t Get Into the City’s Hottest Restaurants | Eater NY

"Originally from Fort Lee, New Jersey, Wooga has a new branch east of Penn Station where six dry‑aged steaks, running from $38 and up, are substantial in size and cooked over flame at your table with a sprig of rosemary; I note they offer assortments of steaks like Cote but at considerably lower prices." - Robert Sietsema

Food was delicious! The spicy soy chicken and the dumplings were on point!!!! My main concern was with the one waitress. When I asked for more sauce for the dumplings, as there was sauce drizzled on them but I'm a dunker... the waitress said they don't do that and offered me ketchup or ranch... for my dumplings... I was shocked and slightly offended honestly, that just seems like a food faux pas. Another waiter brought out the main dishes and when asked about the sauce for the dumplings he explained what the sauce was and went and got more, thankfully. The initial waitress didnt seem to want to come back to the table after that. I did ask the guy what was up and he said sometimes the staff don't want to ask the kitchen for stuff because a chef has to get it. Poor excuse at a restaurant if you ask me but the male waiter made our night and was very informational and kind. He took the time out of his busy evening to really cater to us. They pool tips here but this man was doing major work. Also, the seafood and beef bipimbap was pretty good. Id come back for the wings and dumplings for sure.

Google
Wooga was fun. My sister and I came here for happy hour and we were seated at the bar. We got two orders of chicken wings in the soy garlic and sweet & spicy flavors, onion rings and cheese corn. The chicken wings came with my favorite pickled radishes. To drink we had the yuzu margaritas, they were very well made. We would come back.

A very cool spot I discovered walking around town. I believe it's a newer spot as well I could be wrong tho. Anyways the food was all good, I actually went there several times while I was in town. The staff was great very cool group! They definitely made me feel at home. They also had some really good happy hour specials compared to the rest of the area. If I'm back in NYC I'll definitely hit it back up again. I do recommend it especially if you like Korean foods. The atmosphere was great there's a bar and some sitting in the front, then the actually restaurant and seating in the back. Nice decor and popping vibe in the bar. So check it out if you in the area.

Wooga in NYC is a Korean culinary gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience! Tucked near Penn Station, the chic yet cozy vibe and warm, attentive service create the perfect setting for any occasion. We ordered a bunch of dishes from the menu, and each was a flavor-packed delight. The bacon was crispy and savory, the katsu chicken was perfectly breaded with a juicy center, the potato croquettes were golden and fluffy, and the tartare brought a refreshing, zesty kick. Every dish was authentic, fresh, and masterfully prepared, paired beautifully with their innovative soju cocktails. Wooga is a must-visit for bold, delicious Korean fare in Midtown West—five stars!

Google
Stopped by with friends for happy hour and loved that they offer a late-hour option at the bar--such a great perk! However, I wasn't too impressed with their cocktails and would personally opt for a bottle of soju instead. That said, the wings were fantastic--crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I'd definitely come back for a full sit-down meal next time!

Google
Wooga NYC delivers top-tier Korean BBQ in a surprisingly formal setting. The contrast between sleek black decor and vibrant neon signage creates an atmosphere that’s both edgy and upscale—perfect for a night out with flair. The beef short rib was incredibly flavorful and grilled to perfection, while the Korean fried chicken brought the perfect crispy punch to round out the meal. If you're looking for delicious KBBQ with a refined twist, Wooga nails it.

Google
After a long day of work, my coworkers and I decided to unwind with a drink. My friend Shaw, who works at Mulligan Security with his office across the street from here, recommended Wooga Bar & Steak Lounge while we were watching the Knicks game. I’m so glad we took his suggestion! The food here was fantastic, everything was cooked to perfection, and we all enjoyed the atmosphere. However, what truly stood out was the service. Kevin, our server, made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and checking in regularly without being intrusive. His energy was contagious, and his drink suggestions were spot on. It's rare to experience such exceptional service, specially on busy days, but Kevin certainly made our night even more enjoyable. If you're looking for great food and even better service, this is definitely the spot. You won’t be disappointed

Google
Can't say enough good things about this place. We had chicken katsu, bi bim bap, and parmesan truffle fries - everything was absolutely delicious. All dishes delivered a perfect level of crispiness, and the sauces on the side were also quite tasty. Drinks were strong and service was even stronger. The dining room is both spacious and comfortable. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Yelp
This space is much bigger than I had anticipated based on pictures and reviews. There's ample seating and it's well staffed. I didn't try any entrees - as I mostly went for the appetizers and drinks. As far as apps go, the dumplings were flavorful and a bit on the sweeter side. The edamame was as one would expect. I had a strawberry highball and it was definitely strong. The strawberry syrup was very artificial tasting though, I'm not sure I'd get it again. Staff was attentive.

Yelp
Being able to catch up w/friends Happy Hour ending at 7PM Tasty food AND dranks Cute decor Wooga will definitely see me again! Came here after work and caught up w/a few friends. The service was a bit slow in beginning BUT I got there a bit later than my friends. However, after that - everything was great. Had the following: Honey Soy Garlic Wings (not as great as Mad for Chicken, BUT it beats trekking it to Qns. I haven't visited the others) Fried Beef & Pork Dumplings Yuzu Margarita w/sugar rim (now this was smooth AND delicious which equals DANGEROUS ) Lychee Martini (the vodka comes through the one but the Lychee isn't far behind.) Spent $45 (tip included; remember this was HH)

Yelp
Service is pretty good, the waiter did take a while to come after i stated that i needed more time to decide on my food. Food took a while to come. Food was really yummy. Im not sure if i would come back again, but i may for the fried spam masubi. Fried spam masubi was delicious, definitely recommend. Really and i mean really spacious, and has a cool vibe. Feels like both a pub and a diner. Fried chicken is really filling, so i would recommend a small. Turntable burger was good, just a little too much cheese for me, and the first slice wasn't melted on the patty. I was just on there. The burger is also only cooked one way. But it was really flavorful. The sauce also comes on the wings NOT on the side. Overall, this place is good and would recommend to others.

Yelp
Been to this place multiple times and always sat in the very roomy bar area in the front. They also have a big dining area in the back. They use to have happy hour until 9pm but now it's only until 7pm. However, their drink prices (and food prices) are not high at all for the area and the cocktails are very strong and tasty. Food is also very solid. We got the wings and stir fry gizzards this time and both were very yummy. This spot will continue to be a staple for us especially being right across the street from Penn station so easy to catch the train.

Yelp
Came for a birthday dinner and it had nice dinner vibes. We ordered the Beef Japchae which was pretty meh. I feel like it was a lot of veggie and some noodles. The prime bone in tomahawk w/ fries was pretty large even for the 4 of us. I wasn't the biggest fan of steak and it didn't make me change my mind. The wang galbi hotpot was nice and warm.

Yelp
I have been here twice, once at the bar n once in dining area. My friend suggested this spot to catch the Knicks game and I must say it's definitely a nice n lively vibe. I got the spicy wings ($9) which was solid and has a kick to it. The Wooga cheese burger ($16) comes with fries and chicken nuggets! On my second visit I got the prime marinated galbi ($48) which was delicious and the chicken sandwich ($16) which was tasty. If you're in the mood for good food and drinks with chill vibes, I highly recommend Wooga. * 4.5 Stars * Bar and dine in area (Both sections have TVs) * Good service * At the bar, tip is included on bill (Ask to confirm) * Fair prices * happy hour

Yelp
Their happy hour menu is amazing. Most items are less than $10 and have a good portion size. I have come here twice, and I highly recommend. The first time the wings were a little off according to my friend who frequents so, I decided to give them another shot and I was glad I did. The food is so good! I am NOT someone who eats spam but, their fried spam is really good as well. I wish their corn was also a little cheesier but its seasoned well. The service is great, there is plenty of seating downstairs if upstairs is crowded. Overall, a great space with good vibes and better food. I will go back whenever I am in the area.

Yelp
Despite being a Korean restaurant but they have very good steaks, especially during the daily happy hour, the price is unbeatable. Everyday they serve a different cut during happy hour at a discounted price. They change from time to time. I was there on a Monday when the served galbi, the meat is so tender and flavorful. Two of us ended up ordering two because it was so good. The chicken wing are also amazing, very crispy and flavorful, still very crispy when glazed heavily with sauce. Service is fast, just wish the table is a bit bigger feels a little tight as we were trying to fit everything on the table with the complimentary sides

Yelp
COME HERE FOR THEIR HAPPY HOUR after 4PM!!! Wooga Crispy Chicken with Fries $12 (1000/10 ) Soo juicy and tender. I think it's the best crispy chicken burger I've ever had!!! Lychee Martini $9 (100/10 ) Really good I had about 4 of these! Broccoli Rabe $9 (10/10 ) Really good and smart to have on the bar menu because there aren't many vegetable options. Soy Garlic Wings $9 (8/10) I was expecting more which is probably why it disappointed a little. A little too dry for me but it may be because everything was too good in comparison! I don't recommend their lunch buffet weekdays 11am-2:30pm. Not my favorite meal and you have an hour limit. But I've been coming back for happy hour! I cannot wait to come back for their steak!!!

Yelp
Overall rating: 4.5 I went here with a group of 6 friends and was very shocked by the quality of the food. From the reviews I read before coming, it seemed like an all-you-can-eat spot, which wasn't what I was in the mood to try. In an initial view, the place is very loud. It's a bit hard to hear anything, including your thoughts. But the drinks hit. And the food was amazing! I was so surprised!! Only have one picture because we ate it all. Around 8 dishes for 5x people was perfect. It came down to about $25 pp. Definitely a place to go with a group!
google avatar

Yelp
The all you can eat lunch option at Wooga is so worth it! $20 for an hour of eating and $9 house cocktails? Totally worth it. A big party of us came for 1.5 hours of eating and when we sat we had the option to start eating and ordering right away. My favorites include the Inari, kimbap, chicken wings, japchae, and the kimchi options. Lots of protein, carbs, fruit, and veggies to choose from! My lychee martini was only $9 and it was strong! I'd definitely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
This spot became quite popular recently due to its affordable all you can eat Korean barbecue buffet lunch special, and I had a chance to visit for a work lunch last week. For $23 (excluding tax and tips), you get to choose from a buffet of Korean barbecue meats, rice, pasta, sushi, kimbap, soups and fruits. You get an hour which I think is enough for that price to be honest and you'll likely fill up quite quickly if you get a lot of the meats. I thought the selection was pretty great and tasted just as great! I'd say the only thing I wish was on there would have been pork belly but the pig trotters were also very nice. Maybe they have them for the dinner menu. Other than that, for just $23 a person, it was definitely worth what was available. The place itself is very clean and spacious and I'd be interested in trying out some items from their dinner menu.

Yelp
Amazing seasoning that brings dishes to perfect harmony. Try a bit of everything for the best experience. Their staff makes dining more pleasant. This restaurant's staff combines competence with real kindness. I intend to return here many times.

Yelp
Found this hidden gem in midtown a couple of blocks from Madison square garden. The food was so amazing. We had the cheese topoki, Parmesan fries, soy garlic wings and takoyaki. The drinks were good we had soju and beer. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The place was large so we had a lot of space for dining. We were seated right away. Lots of cute little signs all around
google avatar

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my bday and the back nice area was completely empty on a tuesday night. The servers were nice but didn't seem to know too much about the different types of meats that they had. The ambiance near the bar area is completely different from the area in the back. The back is more fine dining vibes. Prices were a little higher than their values especially because I didn't think any of the dishes were too out of the ordinary? They were good, but nothing too special. The sides that came with the steak were just so so and felt like they were kind of there to just fill you up. The portion size was good though! The marinate is really good for the pork so you can choose that for the cheaper option than the galbi!! I would like to come back for the more casual, bar area for their wings and happy hour specials!

Yelp
Came for happy hour upon a friend's recommendation and we learned that it was happy hour all night long?!? It was a great deal with solid drinks/snacks! Drinks: -Yuzu margarita was very refreshing (especially in this hot weather). Citrus flavors were prominent but it wasn't too sweet or strong! -Pineapple highball was perfect for someone like me who likes sweeter drinks, but you can ask for sweetness/syrup adjustments. -Plum highball also solid with more of a herbal profile Snacks: -Takoyaki were tasty overall but felt like the outer layer was a little too thick -Wings - there are 5 different flavors to pick from. They came hot and crispy, although felt like the meat could have been a little bit more seasoned -Broccoli rabe - Love that they have veggie options for happy hour menu!! These broccoli pieces were actually good with a garlic/soy based sauce. The location was pretty spacious with a bar in the front and a whole restaurant area in the back. The neon lights were very appropriate for the bar vibes. Everything was clean. Staff were nice and polite. They also sat us down even when our larger party wasn't complete. Overall a great deal for happy hour in Ktown!!

Yelp
For the price point, and given that it's Manhattan, this is a very decent AYCE and value option. They have an assortment of items including beef and pork bulgolgi, rice cakes, inari, sushi, Japchae, rice, fried chicken, fried fish, broccoli, other vegetables, kimchi, soups, basically a lot of variety. The only item that wowed me after the first plate to be honest were the chicken wings, which I thought to be the best item. It tastes as good as standard Grubhub order Korean wings lol. Overall, you could literally just come here for the wings or the other decent items. Better than Boka if you don't drink. Good value, won't blow your mind. I ate 2.5 plates total and 60% of it were the chicken wings lol. Note: they have all day happy hour and $9 cocktails. I'd normally drink but I had to go back and do some work. Probably worth a 5* on Yelp but until I've tried their cocktails, this will be a 4* review solely just for food.
google avatar

Yelp
Another visit, amazing food. Tried the beef hot sizzling plate and loved it, as usual. Their wings ($1 a piece during lunch) are crispy and delicious and hard to stop eating.
google avatar

Jennie K.

Yelp
Been here twice now, the first time we got amazing happy hour deals but the second time, they only had happy hour for drinks (soju bottle is $10 still). But the second time we got dine in and the food was good! the fire chicken could've been more spicy but overall like this place. Servers were attentive and nice, and the space is big!
google avatar

Myra H.

Yelp
Have been here twice and was blown away by the service! The staff are all so kind and recognized us on our second visit. Their happy hour deals are really great and it's nice that it ends at a reasonable time. Highly recommend the dumplings (fried to perfection), the skirt steak (so fresh, perfectly cooked with fresh herbs, and crispy fries) and the seafood pancake! The space is pretty big so it's nice that we never feel rushed during our meal to leave. Highly recommend next time you're in K-town!

Yelp
This is a solid place to go to for lunch if you are in the 34th St., Hareld Square area. Since it's a lounge, it's not very crowded during the lunchtime hours, but that doesn't mean you won't get a nice piping hot fresh meal. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions. This place is no longer a lunch buffet, though they offer a decent size lunch menu with the choice of chicken wings for five for five dollars as a happy hour special. I ended up getting the pork broth soup, which was with pork slices And a mild soup base. The banchan was plentiful and fresh. My kid had the Bulgogi bowl which was very tasty and even had a good layer of crispy rice on the bottom that was delicious. Her also came with a side of kimchi soup. Everything was fairly priced at around $15 per entrée.

Yelp
Came in for the special which was the $10 for all you can eat wings til the last day of February. First we waited on line for a good hour til the doors opened. I saw previously from their Instagram posts that there will be a long line. So we decided to get there early. When the doors opened, they sat everyone at the bar for the special. Huge bar. (Small seats). We were packed in there (which was to be expected). Was told that there was a drink minimum. Ordered the margarita. It was ok. They came around and started asking what kind of wings do we want to start with and was informed that there will only be 3 rounds of wings, so not so much unlimited, even though it was plenty. 6 wings comes per serving. They had about 3 options. I started with the soy garlic wings. They were delicious. Crispy. Tasty. I loved them. The second round I ordered plain crispy wings. They were tasty as well. I couldn't manage to get the third serving because I was stuffed. So thanks so much for that. Service was amazing. They kept refilling the water. Bartender was on point. She did her thing. She made sure everyone got their drinks. Food came out prompt and hot. I liked that. I will return for more food options. Looking forward to it. Thanks.

Yelp
My friend and I came for the $1 wings promotion happening all month long. The wings are really good and crispy. They have three flavors to try and we got the Soy Garlic and Spicy Soy Garlic. For the $1 each wing promo, you have to sit at the bar and each set comes with 5 wings. The bar is big and is very nice. The bartenders are very attentive and the food came out quickly. It's really good Korean fried chicken and I'd highly suggest taking part in this promo before March ends!

Yelp
Went to the ayce lunch at 12 had a good selection of korean staple foods. Highlights for me include the kimbap the spicy pork the fried chicken and the fried squid and the galbi The ambiance is very fancy and intimate with timeless music playing. The kimbap is classically made and authentic taste. The fried chicken was crispy and golden brown tender and juicy. The galbi was sweet and tender. The kimchi was not very pungent and not strongly fermented so it was forgettable and could easily be a skip for me. I heard from the server that they change out the food everyday so they have differing options everyday so I would go again to try something new. Also there is happy hr available so u can pair your meal with a quick cheap drink as well.

Yelp
Keepin it real here in Midtown New spot near but away from K Town with upscale vibe and menu, staff is actually all very nice and welcoming. Menu is solid with good steak and Korean fried chicken. A lot of bougie options as well. Solid spot

Yelp
Came here shortly after this placed opened and was attracted by the amazing happy hour. The prices for drinks can't be beat. The cocktails could use a little refining but overall pretty good. The moscow mule felt light on ginger and heavy on lime. The food itself was a little hit or miss. Some things were lacking flavor and some things were amazing. For food, we got the Parmesan fries which were great (though hard to mess up. The seafood pancake was standard. Boneless fried chicken was really good. Service was friendly and really they were really nice. I think they hinted at making some changes, so I would come back again and see what they cook up!
google avatar

Tansy W.

Yelp
The seafood pancake and the steak were quite good. Wasn't a huge fan of the seafood pot we got but my husband enjoyed it. Very spacious with a good menu offering. We walked in without a reservation and it was largely empty. Good Korean addition to the neighborhood without having to go quite into K town. Will return!

Yelp
We came here for the $1 wing happy hour, and were pleasantly surprised! The wings are super crispy, although it does seem like they use a corn flake coating rather than a traditional Korean rice flour coating. They're juicy and tender inside as well. The spicy garlic sauce wasn't quite up our alley; a bit too sweet for us, with not a strong enough garlic flavor. We got a couple orders of just original crispy (which isn't technically on their menu, but you can still order), and that was definitely our favorite; it comes with this great sauce on the side! Service is also super fast and friendly! You have to sit at the bar for the wing promotion, so definitely try to come a bit earlier. By the time we were leaving (~7:30), there was a pretty substantial wait to sit at the bar. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Came here to meet up with visiting family. Made a reservation but the app needs a credit card for the reservation. If you use the app, watch out for cancellation fees. But if you will be eating early dinner, better to walk in. We were seated and ordered 5 items from the menu. The tomahawk steak we wanted was not available. Its only available on certain day. Best to ask what is good and recommended, which we did and glad that we did so. The eating area is dark but clean. Service is attentive and friendly. Food was good, but not something to remember. Overall a good experience. Recommended.

Yelp
I was so intrigued by the setup of this restaurant. Walking in, you'll see an area that looks like a typical bar on a Friday night. (Even on a Monday evening, the bar area looked almost fully seated, but that might have been because of the grand opening promotion.) The back has a section that looks like the perfect date night spot. The Sweet and Spicy Boneless Thigh is perfectly crispy, and the sweet and spicy flavors were perfectly balanced. This might just be one of my favorite Korean fried chicken places in NYC, no lie. The Wooga Dukbokki's fried dumplings were perfectly crispy. As someone who has honestly not had kim-mari before (due to my long seaweed-hating phase), the kim-mari was also really good and crispy. It all had a perfect hint of spice. Usually, I eat tteokbokki just for the rice cake and not the toppings, but if I come back and order it again, it would for sure be the other way around. The service was also great, and the servers were very attentive. I would come back someday to try the steak.

Yelp
Now I just happen to be walking around Madison square garden and stumbled upon this hidden lounge. Now it's nice Inside this place. Big bar and a downstairs with tables for lunch or dinner. Now I saw they had Korean fried chicken on the menu. At that time it was 5 for $5 so I got two orders of the soy garlic. Let me tell you was I surprised. Nice and crispy and the sauce was definitely on point. It took me like 5 min to finish all ten of them. They were really good. I've actually been back to this spot about three times after. I want to try other menu items but that chicken always calls me back. Customer service on point they actually give you a bucket for the bones. That was a first for me but I think it's a must when you serve wings now lol. The waitress was very friendly and cool also.

Yelp
Overall great experience. Very friendly staff. Lots of flavor in all the dishes. My favorite was the Korean fried chicken. And great value. Decent portions for the price. Great option in the Koreatown area.

Yelp
I have seen this place all over my tiktok and instagram and knew that I wanted to try. I decided to celebrate my birthday here this year and made a reservation in advance for a group of 8. The place itself is super spacious - there is a bar area in the front and then a resturant area in the bottom. They do have happy hour until 6:30 (unsure if it is daily) so definitely worth going there earlier to check it out! They have a very extensive menu and they also have specials for every day of the week. Our waitress was super nice and friendly and everything came out very quickly for us. We decided to get and share: -Beef Tartare: Very tender and pretty good if you like beef tartar -Fried Spam fries: A little gimmcky but fairly good; the spam was not too salty -Squid Ink Calamari: Once again the calamari was delicious; the squid ink did not really add anything to this dish -Kimchi Pancake: Very good - perfectly fried and the flavors were delicious -Broccoli Rabe: Honestly we needed some veggies so we ordered this last minute but it was super flavorful and not over cooked -Parmesan Truffle Fries : You really cannot go wrong with this dish -Cheese Dukbokki: Absolutely delicious; very cheesey and not too spicy; highly recommend -USDA Prime 12 oz Marinated Galbi: We got two orders of this and it was amazing; so flavorful and so tender. Really cooked to perfection -USDA Prime Bone-in Dry-Aged 20 oz Ribeye: this was their special of the day and it was also delicioius - we got this medium rare and it was absolutely perfect -For drinks the Wooga Highball was delicious. Overall - great vibes and service and great food. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
A few colleagues and I came here for a little post Bday Happy Hour celebration and boy was I impressed. The food was really good so good that I didn't get pics of it all. The service was great all the staff greeted everyone with a smile. The kicker is the all day HH Who does this? Wooga does and it is more than worth it great value at $7 and great tasting. The ambiance is very up to date and trendy I can definitely see having a bday event or get togethers here. If you're in town or near the garden which is a perfect pregame spot check them out!

Yelp
We came for the lunch buffet. It's available in April and May but I hope they make it a permanent feature. It's only $20 to taste a variety of classic Korean dishes. I loved the short ribs, spicy pork, bulgogi, and seafood pancake the best. I also tried their kimbap, California rolls, fried chicken, broccoli and spinach. Overall everything was tasty and very worth the price. They only seat complete parties and the buffet has a 1 hour limit.

Yelp
This place and brand new, but they get a lot of things right. Location is really convenient for any folks trying to catch a game at MSG or train at Penn Station. It's 1 avenue away from most ktown restaurants and bars but has the heart of a ktown establishment - excellent music and great food For food, we got the Parmesan fries with their gochujang ketchup (very tasty), seafood pancake (also good), boneless fried chicken (really recommend), and the uni stone bowl which was pretty good as well. I would order everything again. The drinks are decent but some cocktails could use some fine tuning. We loved the vesper martini and the margarita, but the Moscow mule could use more ginger beer and the Manhattan could be a bit more intense (maybe more whiskey?). Overall, this is a great spot and would go back again.

Yelp
The food keeps bringing me back. Fresh food components, good flavor profiles, affordable costs, and friendly employees. Staff keeps water glasses filled without asking. The savory dishes exceeded expectations, had great presentation and complemented each other. I say give it a try you'll like it.

Yelp
Came to watch the knicks game and wow so good! The Knicks lost but the food, the ambience and the service was amazing. My server was Kevin and he made sure our drinks were filled and that we had everything we needed. Thank you Kevin! For making the experience amazing!

Yelp
Great March 1$ korean fried chicken wings deal! Very crunchy, coated well, and a decent amount of meat. Also had yuzu marg, which was great! Definitely check out this place if you're nearby and craving wings!

Yelp
i came here with a group of 3 on a friday night at 7:30 pm. we made a reservation a few days in advance. we sat in the back area, which was really spacious and comfortable. the front (the "bar area") had fun signs and decor. we ordered the cheese tteokbokki, kimchi pancake, and pork belly. it was a little too much food for us and we had to take some leftovers home. given that, it was pretty reasonably priced ($31/person after tax and tip) and they were able to take 3 separate cards as well. overall, a solid korean place with a classier vibe (in the back at least). didn't get to try the steak so would come again for that!

Yelp
This was my first time trying Wooga's lunch buffet. There was a line outside but it was a short wait. There is an abundance of food ranging from assorted fruit, soup, rice, kimbap, japchae, sushi, salad, dumplings, galbi, bulgogi, etc etc. I definitely left out a few items. It is a nice restaurant that is affordable and I will definitely visit again!

Yelp
The overall experience was really nice! We were looking for a place to pregame a little bit, and their all night happy hour drink prices are really good - $9 for a cocktail! We ordered the beef tartare which went really well with the other veggies and the gochujang sauce on the side. The fried chicken sandwich was amazing while the fries were some of the best I've had in a long time. The odeng in contrast was just alright - I thought the fish cake was on the chewier side and didn't have much flavor. I overall had a good time, but we had dinner relatively late (9pm-11pm) so I wasn't sure if the playlist stopped working - the same Kpop song was playing on repeat for about 90 minutes - kind of got crazy. I would've asked to change the song, but it got to the point where it was a bit funny so I guess part of that is my fault.

Yelp
Came here for a weekday lunch! It was $19.99 before extra fees, and honestly pretty good valid for what I got! There was a good choice of carbs, vegetables, and meat. I wouldn't say the quality was great for anything in particular, as nothing was particularly memorable. It all kind of felt like and presented like friends potluck food. The variety was decent, value was up there, and I was full by the time I left. Would come here again!

Yelp
Really great place next to MSG to grab a drink and some apps. There's a full bar in the front with TV's and a full dining room in the back including hot pot and more. Ordered appetizers and drinks, their fried dumplings were amazing and drinks were made fast and well. Bartenders were all very nice and fast to make the drinks. Only complaint would be that the takoyaki was covered in fish flakes rendering it impossible to find them under the massive pile.

Yelp
Wooga is a great a date night spot. The restaurant may be a bit hard to find if you're not from the city. My girlfriend and I came here for dinner before a Knicks game in April. Service was attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We got the Parmesan truffle fries, soy garlic and sweet and spicy wings, and the fried dumplings. Everything tasted great. My only small issue was that the food wasn't as hot as I'd like it to be. Regardless, I highly recommend this Wooga! Wooga has great ambiance and food and is close to everything. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Really good food, we got the wings and the bibimbap and they were both very tasty. The service was also very quick and attentive.
