Under local ownership, WooMeeOk blends AYCE KBBQ with hot pot—think marinated bulgogi, pork belly, LA galbi, and bubbling broths. Recent reviews highlight friendly service and abundant banchan; a fun pick for mixed cravings.

Just dined in with my family for dinner. The food was delicious and fresh, and you can tell they use good ingredients. I would recommend the LA Galbi, finger meats, and brisket. Even though there were only two servers (Harry and Nathan), the service was amazing, super quick and very friendly. They checked on the table often, were super helpful, always ready to changed the grills right away. Definitely a place I’d recommend trying and coming back to!

Wow, what an incredible first experience at a Korean BBQ spot! This place blew us away. The meats were fantastic, so flavorful. I dove into the soyu broth, and it was perfectly balanced: incredibly savory with just the right touch of salt. My wife's beef broth was equally delicious. We absolutely loved the unlimited meat concept, and honestly, splurging a little extra for the premium cuts and shrimp was totally worth it. For just about $70 for both of us, it felt like a steal for all that amazing food. We're already planning our next visit, and this time, we're bringing friends!

Went there twice already. Service is always good! Appreciate how thoughtful the staffs are. I asked if they do have fish cake as part of their side dish as it is specifically what I was craving for on my first visit and then they did serve me with a whole plate of it lol!! I was so happy! Fast forward to my next visit, they remembered me :))) and went ahead and had another plate of fish cake prepared. Definitely coming back!! The fact that they close late and there's gong cha next to this place, definitely a bonus!!

This is the second location of the original WooMeeOk in Dallas(Garland is literally right there across the street) On Walnut rd. Except at this location you get your own sides and veggies. It’s is a way bigger establishment than the original. You have to ask them for more rice and meats! Everything else is in the food line Staff is very nice On holidays MAKE A RESERVATION! This is a popular spot with AMAZING FOOD! I recommend the bulgogi beef!

First time ever doing Korean bbq. Wanted to do it for years but was a bit intimidated. First you walk in and it’s clean and spacious. I love space and hate being cramped with a Bunch of people I don’t know. Seated immediately on a Wednesday evening. Our server was named LEON I believe, and he was outstanding and patient. He kindly walked us through everything told us the names of things we didn’t know. He ran so much for us and we greatly appreciate it. We almost tried the place across the highway but so glad we went here instead. We did AYCE x3 my family got a bunch of drinks which are canned and cost $2 per drink. I got a mixed drink that are half priced certain nights. Of the week. The kimchi broth was my favorite in the hot pot. There a buffet style bar for the hot pot and a salad bar.

Google
Great experience! The customer service was great and the food was fresh and good quality! Personally don’t need the hot pot next time I come here however the kbbq alone was worth the all you can eat price! Very affordable option

As regular patrons of hot pot for date night, bf and I decided to try this place this evening. I’ll sort by pros and cons as I see it related to other hot pot places we’ve had: PROS: - Hot pot and BBQ grill at the same time for the same price! Great value there - Fairly large vegetable/noodle/etc bar - Waiters were incredibly attentive - All meats tasted high quality CONS: - No true “sauce bar”—I kind of tried to replicate my usual combo using the salad supplies and sauces - The meats are clearly made for either the grill or the pot 80% of the time with very few that can do both. For example, pork belly (grill) is different from THIN pork belly (pot). Beef belly worked best in the pot. Chicken worked best on the grill. Etc - Beef broth I got for my hotpot was decent but worse than most pork bone broths I default to For the same price as Seapot, I’d still personally prefer Seapot. But I think this place does best a lot of competition like Nan and Hai Di Lao. Give it a try for sure.

Google
Excellent All You Can Eat Korean BBQ place that isn't intimidating or difficult to dive into! The staff is very knowledgeable and eager to help, the prices were extremely fair, and the atmosphere was lovely. We will be back soon!

Yelp
Back in November, I visited Woomeeok Korean BBQ in Plano, TX, and let me tell you--this place is nothing short of spectacular. The moment I walked in, I was hit with the smoky aroma of sizzling meat and the lively buzz of diners enjoying their feast. The place was 완전 꽉 찼어요 (completely packed), and for good reason--this is hands-down one of the best Korean BBQ experiences I've had. The Ambiance: Woomeeok perfectly balances modern sophistication with a welcoming, warm vibe. The tables are equipped with high-tech smokeless grills, and the décor blends sleek wood accents with a cozy, upscale feel. Even though it was a full house that night, it didn't feel cramped or chaotic. Instead, the lively energy added to the overall experience. The crowd was a mix of families, friends, and date-night couples, all enjoying the shared experience of grilling and eating together. The vibe here screams 정 (jeong)--that feeling of connection and togetherness that Korean culture embodies so well. The Food: Now, onto the most important part: the food. Woomeeok doesn't mess around when it comes to their meats. We went with one of their combo platters, which came with 갈비 (galbi, marinated short ribs), 삼겹살 (samgyeopsal, pork belly), and 차돌박이 (chadolbaegi, thinly sliced brisket). Each cut of meat was high-quality, fresh, and beautifully marbled. Grilling the meat at the table was half the fun. The 갈비 was sweet, savory, and perfectly tender, practically falling apart in my mouth. The 삼겹살 was crispy on the edges but juicy in the center--exactly how it should be. And the 차돌박이 cooked in seconds, delivering that melt-in-your-mouth experience I can't get enough of. Every bite was pure 맛있다! (delicious!). The 반찬 (banchan, side dishes) were just as impressive. The 김치 (kimchi) had the perfect level of spice and tanginess, the 콩나물 (bean sprouts) added a crunchy freshness, and the 계란찜 (gyeranjjim, steamed egg) was fluffy and comforting. Honestly, I could've filled up on just the side dishes alone--they were that good. The Drinks: What's a Korean BBQ night without some 소주 (soju)? We ordered a bottle and did it the traditional way, pouring shots for each other. If you haven't mixed 소주 with beer (소맥, somaek), you're seriously missing out. It's a combo that pairs perfectly with the smoky richness of BBQ. For those who aren't into soju, they also have a solid beer and cocktail selection. The Service: Despite how busy the place was, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, checking in frequently to adjust the grill, bring more 반찬, and make sure everything was just right. One server even taught us how to layer the perfect 쌈 (ssam, lettuce wrap): meat, rice, 쌈장 (ssamjang, dipping sauce), and a slice of garlic. Pro tip: follow their advice--it was a game-changer. The Crowd: The crowd was clearly made up of regulars and first-timers alike, all enjoying the lively, communal atmosphere. The energy was infectious, and it was impossible not to have a good time. If you've never been to a packed Korean BBQ spot, Woomeeok is the perfect introduction to that vibrant dining culture. Final Thoughts: Woomeeok isn't just another Korean BBQ spot--it's a place that elevates the experience to something unforgettable. From the high-quality meats to the impeccable service and electric atmosphere, this restaurant delivers on every level. Whether you're new to 한식 (hansik, Korean cuisine) or a seasoned fan, Woomeeok will leave you full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Yelp
First time @ Woomeeok! Usually my test to a good Korean BBQ are my boys. They loved it! The pork belly was on point! The hot pot kimchi soup was delish...so were the Tom yum and beef soup. Good quality of meat and best of all their staff were all courteous! We will be back

Yelp
First time at this place, Service was great, pricey$ , overall food was good. If you like to cook your own meat than you will enjoy. Chicken teriyaki was delicious

Yelp
We went for an early Mother's Day Lunch here this past Saturday. This place opened as Fusion Kitchen, then, new owners took over and change the name to Woo Mee Ok Korean BBQ four months ago. This AYCE Korean BBQ Restaurant is the only authentic K BBQ in the Metroplex area as far as I'm concerned. The meats are fully freshly marinated, sliced properly and fast to grill. The meats are moist and soft once grilled, it's delicious. LA Kalbi is the best and so as their Bulgogi. The Hotpot with beef broth is sooo good, I won't forget the taste of it. Serving staff, Shaiyen (I think) is friendly, helpful and had patience with our 4 grandkids that made a mess. Lots of parking, has outdoor patio dining and clean and well decorated indoor Korean BBQ Restaurant. Will be back again soon to try their Hawaiian Pork and other meats.

Yelp
It was honestly really worth the money. It is pretty good the food quality isn't not the greatest but for the price it was delicious. You get a lot of variety and I like how there is a food bar. The restaurant was really clean and spacious. The waiters and staff were super polite and were helpful. Loved it here.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Got the regular order without the premium. I liked how you can mix the food to either cook in the hot pot or on the grill. Condiments was good, and service was on point. I liked the beef belly, bugolgi, but the brisket was a bit tough. The salad bar had a good amount of options for the hot pot. Parking is good. The tables & floors were clean, but overall hoods and light fixtures could use a little TLC.

Yelp
Woomeeok Plano, formerly Fusion Kitchen (FK), just opened along US75. We've been to FK many times and considered it decent quality. I've also been to the Dallas/Garland location of Woomeeok and liked it a lot, so this was kind of a no-brainer for us. While the price is now higher ($29), we feel the quality is also better. The hotpot is a bit of an afterthought with few meats but a decent selection on the buffet. The KBBQ meats were excellent, and there was a larger variety than at FK. Long story short, we enjoyed it and will be back!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food ,had the garlic ribs and kimchi soup highly recommend and will be back Service was great and ambiance to

Yelp
I thought I give this a try today... and I was kind of sad. I don't know if it's because it's a weekday, but the selection they had for their hot pot did not compare to Seapot across the way. I tried to like it , but even their meat selection was also mediocre : / The only one thing I liked was cool was, they had cheese corn. Their service was good. The girls were nice and sweet. But I don't think I'll return .

Yelp
We went on a Monday during dinner at 6. Fusion kitchen is always my favorite low key Korean barbecue spot around. They have a wide variety of selections of meats and hot pot options that doesn't cost an arm and and a leg. Probably like $24.99 plus tax for both the hot pot and kbbq! I know some folks have bad experiences here, but not me. It's always been near perfection for me. There's always a gentleman in the kitchen cutting up the beef chuck and beef brisket, so it's always coming out piping fresh. Something about him cutting it on the spot and then putting it on the line gets me. We got the combo kbbq and hot pot for today. The hot pot comes in three different flavors. Mild, Sichuan, and tom yum is what I'm thinking the flavors were. All pretty good. For the kbbq meats, you always gotta start off with the beef brisket and beef chuck. It's fast to cook, great tasting, and fresh. All the meats that we ate today were really good. Don't forget that the LA galbi is towards the rice pot which is sometimes hidden from people. All the ingredients were really good and the employees in the back of the line kept it stocked. Our server was working by himself, but he was great. Server changed the grill twice, refilled out hotpot, drinks were refilled. Overall, still one of my favorite spots to go to. Plus they have great drinks specials as well
google avatar

Bryan W.

Yelp
The service was quick and friendly. This is the first time we have gotten grill tips on how to best cook the ingredients. The recipes have changed from previous management to the new ones from Woomeeok. No longer serve yourself protein. It's not a big deal, though, since the service was so good. Hot pot broths are normal. Slightly under seasoned. Pro tip is to go to the seasoning sauce area and amp up the flavor to your liking. We might be back, but we live right behind Woomeeok.

Nathan C.

Yelp
Very clean, cuts of meat much better than other kbbqs like Gen. Overall a great service and great food.
google avatar

Yelp
I've always loved this place, past tense. The foods great and the variety is awesome but most importantly it was convenient that I could get up and get my own food in the portion size I wanted. They took that away, you can now only order 4 meats at a time like a traditional place and the staff still stand around talking to one another which was fine before cause I could go get my food but now I need to flag them down. The concept of this place was what made it special and it shouldn't have changed in my opinion
google avatar

Yelp
Great visit last week! The wait is a bit long (hint-they take reservations) but the food was well worth it! I love hot pot and the hubs likes Korea Bbq, so this place gets both our votes! The kimchi was excellent, as was the spicy hotpot. Added some noodles, veggies and more spice and it was divine!! They also bring a a bowl of frozen beef to put into the soup. Hubs enjoyed the bbq- especially the spicy shrimp. It is a bit noisy- the music was a tad too loud which made everyone talk louder, but not unbearably so... We will not hesitate to return!!

Yelp
Found this place a couple weeks ago and have been there twice so far. We Love it! The service is warm and friendly and helpful. The food is awesome and the hot pot is delicious. Great price for all the food you can eat. Bulgogi is amazing. Def coming here from now on. Love it.

Chris H.

Yelp
Solid, affordable ayce kbbq and hotpot!! Friendly, quick service!! Table for 6 was large with 2 grills and 2 hotpot stoves! Everything was great! Definitely would come back!
google avatar

Noah C.

Yelp
delicious food and some of the best service i've ever had from a kbbq restaurant, most places are slow and try to skimp on meats but this place took initiative and constantly filled us up. The price ($26/person for regular AYCE) is very reasonable and the ban chan was fresh. My friend said the rice was a bit dry but who goes to kbbq for rice? 100% will be coming back!

Courtney H.

Yelp
We had so much fun! Everyone was so awesome and sweet and the food was amazing. Totally worth it to come here. The space was very nice and clean too. It was $26 for the basic AYCE price and it includes hot pot.
google avatar

Cuc N.

Yelp
This is not so great for the people said , the new location in Plano Salad look so sad all old, not fresh at all The hot pot selection only small clams, mussels , frozen fishes Ballard some veggies Dessert only old orange cut but too sour For the $29 buffet the shrimps bring out small look like shrimp for cocktails and salty

Jonathan G.

Yelp
Great food service was awesome and u get tons of food !! So be hungry when you go! Seated quickly
google avatar

Hyun P.

Yelp
I tried making a reservation online but it was declined. We got there on Saturday around 7pm and the wait was about 20 minutes. The service and food options were good. I think this place is one of the best pricing for all you can eat kbbq and hotpot. You even get to chose 3 different types of broth for the hotpot.
google avatar

Bành B.

Yelp
My friends and I had a quick lunch at Woo Mee Ok, Plano. I was so full that I could barely walk afterwards. Their topping & sauce station were clean. The meat was fresh, and the seasoning was on point. The staff was extremely sweet & helpful. The star of the show was the corn cheese. It was bussin bussin. Def will come back & recommend it to friends and family 100000/10

Rose L.

Yelp
Great cut choices of meat and veggies for hotpot and barbecue and the prices are great. They have really good service and the waitstaff is very attentive. Make sure you are hungry before going because you can easily stuff yourself. Great food and service!
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
Since the change in mgmt, this has gone from a 5 star place that i went to weekly. I knew many of the waitstaff by name to now one just like all the others that don't do buffet style and stopped offering alcohol. My 9 yr old son also loved this place. He was very disappointed when we went last too. No one wants a ton of two kinds of meat. Most people want a variety. That's what we used to have. And the drink specials were a big plus. Never coming back though this was my "home" once a week for years. New mgmt needs to go back. You have become a Seapot knockoff and a lesser version. And i dont like Seapot.

Chloe P.

Yelp
Having an extremely amazing experience at Woomeeok Plano!!! I am already a big fan at Woomeeok Dallas, but Plano location did not disappoint too! They have diversity in meats, sides, sauces, and drinks. The servers are pretty careful and sweet. Also, their price is very reasonable, $29 for everything including BBQ and Ramen Soups. I highly recommend everyone to check out this place! Love the vibes there P/s: Their LA Galbi is the best one I have ever had. Extremely Spicy Soup is my favorite!
google avatar

Taylor K.

Yelp
The food here is great especially for the price. We love the make your own sauce and sides bar. The atmosphere; however, is extremely run down.

Rashad B.

Yelp
Horrible, went to dinner with my GF to introduce her to Korean BBQ and enjoy the trio hot pot thanks to IG and TikTok ... The floor was very slippery and covered in grease due to them carrying trays from the stove across the floor without a pan or anything to catch the drippings.. While cooking out food we noticed that no vents were active and the airflow was nonexistent... Once it was brought to the Employees attention the Owner told us it was due to them being sold the business with a non working AC system... which was violation a with the Health Department from what the owner told we us ..waited 20 minutes for the manager to try and find a solution but by this time I started to sweat profusely, t shirt looked like I ran a marathon... Asked for a box fan or something since my asthma was acting up and another employee became repetitive and no help at all... He refused to cut on the vent because "it would make the restaurant cooler and pull smoke from everywhere " like that wasn't what I was trying to achieve... Asked for a solution since we had barely at but wanted to pay the bill and go elsewhere but all he could do was offer me free Soju, which I declined to it being hot in the restaurant .

James D.

Yelp
The meat quality I think is very good for a kbbq. I think it's better than gen, and the price is a good deal.
google avatar

Paula C.

Yelp
I've been coming here for a million years and I love how much it has evolved. It use to have sushi waaaay back but now it's just hot pot and Loren barbecue at a very reasonable price along with a full bar with good happy hour specials. Lots of meat and seafood options that just keep coming.
google avatar

Rose Q.

Yelp
I like this place. I always walk by this place but never got around to trying it. Food was great and service was friendly. Compared to other places, they didn't really have much that sets them apart from other places. Price is also around the same but slightly cheaper. I wish they had more side dishes like potato salad though.I also love their grill. It doesn't stick with the meat like the grill a lot of other places have.

Minh Th N.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped by Woomeok for lunch and it was such a great experience! The resraurant is spacious with plenty of seats and the staff were so helpful with the new menu. My favorite dish was the beef belly. It's fresh and juicy. Such a gem! Would recommend fs!
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
I 10/10 would recommend this place. The staff is super attentive and also very friendly. This is first time in a long time I have left an establishment feeling like I have had a completely fulfilled experience. The food is really good. I really enjoyed the beef belly, brisket and beef bulgogi. It's no noises or hot and the music is at the perfect volume to hold a conversation and enjoy the music.

Yelp
YALL THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!! the food AMAZING, the service SUPERB, and the ambiance is just great for family or friends! If you're ever craving Korean BBQ or Hot Pot or maybe you can't decide... then THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!! if i could give it 10 stars I would!!!
google avatar

Monalisa Z.

Yelp
I am torn between 3 or 4 stars. If I could, I'd give it a 3.5 stars Meat selection - they have a big meat selection. Galbi, steak, ribeye, pork belly. Dessert - only coffee mousse cake and coconut mousse cake available. No fruits were available. Floor was a little slippery I don't know why. Service was OK, waitress kept coming to change the grill, took off dirty plates and refilling water. We picked only BBQ for $22/person. The thing was, their fire wasn't that big. I couldn't get my meat burnt, and I like my meat burnt. That was a big thing to me. Secondly, their sauce selection was lacking. I wish they have their own signature sauce like Gyu-kaku or offer more sauces like Gen. This is a major minus for me.

Katy G.

Yelp
Made a reservation for 2, we walked in & we're almost instantly sat even tho it was quite busy. Our server was extremely sweet, very quick on our request on meats. you order your meats at the table with your server & choose your soup bases for the hot pot. there's a buffet in the back corner that contains a salad bar with many options from corn to clams to put in your hot pot. the meat was fresh & each hotpot additive had their own tongs for the buffet. it was a bit loud but that didn't take anything away from the experience. each table i believe has at least 5 chairs, a lot of space for all the food! 10/10 recommend
google avatar

Yelp
I usually go to garland woomeeok i heard that they open in Plano I visited 2days ago they never disappointed I love this place. as service, food quality and taste 10 out of 10 if you like korean BBQ I highly recommend this place :)

Yelp
Omg this place was so good and so was the service. It's a pretty new spot so it wasn't crowded BUT it had quite a few customers. Perfect for a chill Thursday night. The $26 all u can eat is a steal! My gf and I couldn't even eat after the first round. We were stuffed. We definitely plan to double back!
google avatar

Jazmine J.

Yelp
The service was amazing . I love their meat selection you can also get hotpot and k bbq or you can get them on their own. The place is pretty big so you are not on top of each it has this calm feeling once you enter . They have a wide variety of seafood and vegetables options and I love their sauce bar . They have sauces you can make yourself they have the ingredients and size portions listed for you .

Amy N.

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance was delightful. I like how the soups/ramen is included with the AYCE meal, it's a great pair with the soups. For $26, there is a huge selection of meats to choose from. With the variety, I love to get me some of the basics (Brisket, Bulgogi, Pork Belly) and their marinated meats add a twist to meal. However, my favorite has to be the LA Galbi and the Beef finger meat. These cuts of meat are affordable and have a nice marble to it, making it tender to the bite. Those paired with the corn cheese, a new app, is really good. Service compliments the food well, creating a warm and welcoming experience! Truly an amazing experience, thank you Woo Mee Ok!
google avatar

Dustin F.

Yelp
The food here is super yummy, everything is very fresh. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is amazing. We did the hot pot and Korean bbq all was delicious. It's the owner's from Woo me oak which is another one of my favorites. We will definitely be back.

Christian S.

Yelp
Under new ownership and it's frickin awesome! Service and quality of meat is fantastic from before. Bar service and all is hands down one of the best in the area. Come and enjoy this awesome spot!

Bella F.

Yelp
Meat was fresh along with the hotpot choices. Service was good. We were there on their opening week.

Brianna L.

Yelp
Customer service was TERRIBLE. THERE WAS NO A/C!!! After sitting down, ordering food and letting it cook it wasn't long til we were wondering why it was so hot and one of the female waiters told us the A/c was broken. They refused to turn the vents on because they didn't want smoke circulating. We were there all of 30 minutes before being drenched in sweat. We asked the owner to take off one of the meals since we wouldn't be able to enjoy our meal. He just insisted that we drink more drinks and they would be free. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They had ample time seeing that we called ahead of time to let us know that there would be no a/c. Shame on this establishment. Owner VERY RUDE

Jase H.

Yelp
They have maggots in the broccoli. We told the worker and yet she did nothing. Later at the end of the dinner we got broccoli again and what do you know still maggots. Never coming again! (The owner did reach out to us and refunded our meal. Much appreciated that they did that. )

Zipporah J.

Yelp
Really good service. I've been there twice now, and both our server and others have been very kind both times. It's a clean place and very open. The only reason this isn't a five star is because some of the food just tasted fairly bland. The spicy squid, octopus and brisket just weren't really flavorful in any way. I was especially excited for the squid, but it was personally disappointing. Aside from that, the rest of their food is great, especially the bulgogi. Their vegetable bar is also nice and convenient and I like it a lot. Definitely will be returning for a third time.
google avatar

Jamie N.

Yelp
$22 pp for ayce kbbq and $24 pp for both kbbq and hotpot. Where do I begin.... This place is quite sad.... Grill just couldn't get hot enough so our meats were steaming... the cuts were quite tough. Hot pot flavors were tom yum, spicy, and non-spicy. Surprisingly the non-spicy broth had the most flavor, again took some time to heat up. It didn't start boiling until the end of our meal. Meats on the trays were a little hard to grab, pretty much frozen solid and stuck to the plate. Only side dishes were kim chi, broccoli, and plain japchae. No samjjang! Drove quite far for mediocre food, better to just go to Carrollton instead.

Rachel P.

Yelp
Have gone both before and after management change. Food was good and I don't have a problem with the change to ordering the meat. I have found the quality really good. Since the transition, we found the service to be really good. They were very attentive and quick. My issue is really the change in selection. I just have a vegetarian husband who does the hot pot and since the management transition there are very few vegetables at the bar. They used to have a large variety before this. I really hope you are still in transition and increase the number of vegetable options in the future because right now this makes it difficult for us to justify the cost. If I just wanted to do hotpot I would go elsewhere because even as a meat eater, I found the selection lacking.

Phong is an amazing SERVER! he is so quick, and so kind and always has a smile on his face. he can handle taking multiple big tables at once and still make sure you are taken care of. he deserves a promotion or something cause he is just all around amazing! also the food is so good

Yelp
Being a Korean-style barbecue, food is cooked by you. There are a ton of options for meats and seafood, some seasoned, some not. There are also sauces to choose from. Service is fine; they change the grill when needed and refill drinks at a decent cadence. Ambiance is fine, though the music channel they're playing is uncensored, leaving for a bit of embarrassment in front of the kids.
