Came here for a late lunch after hitting up the courthouse (unrelated, but for what it's worth I was not intentionally trying to smuggle a corkscrew in, I simply forgot it was in my purse). We sat at the bar and unfortunately I did not get the bartender's name, but she was great. Very attentive, made delicious mixed drinks, AND (most importantly) let us know when the parking meter enforcement showed up because she knew our timeline for leaving. 14/10 would recommend her.
Food-wise, we were very satisfied. We hadn't been to WOB in about two years because in our previous experiences the food wasn't great, but when we saw the menu this time we were pleasantly surprised to see a ton of new dishes. We ordered the hot honey pepperoni flatbread and, as someone who does not like pepperoni, may I say how delicious it was? The crust was the perfect thickness, the cheese was clearly fresh and had a photo-worthy cheese pull, and the entire thing was beautifully seasoned - amazing flavor in every bite! We also had the birria quesadilla which, while delicious, is the reason this is a 4 star review instead of 5. The meat was tender (but didn't have quite as much flavor as I would expect for birria), had just the right amount of cheese, and the onions and cilantro were perfectly dispersed throughout. However, the quesadilla used a flour tortilla (which normally I would prefer because yum), but in this case (because the consommé was so delicious) a corn tortilla would have been better because it would have held up more to the liquid.
Regardless, I would absolutely come back here even though I don't drink beer. (Side note: if you ever see me drinking a beer, please call the police because it is clearly a hostage situation, and/or I'm trying to alert the world to an even larger threat).
