Wing Lei

"Equally suited to power lunches and friendly get-togethers, this strikingly lavish restaurant dominated by a frosted crystal flying dragon offers far more than just a treat for the eye. Cantonese classics and dim sum crafted with top-notch ingredients are what keep diners coming back. Besides the main menu, ask about their seasonal dishes such as clay pot rice and Dongshan goat in winter. Thoughtful service adds to the experience." - Michelin Inspector

Wynn Macau

"With its signature upturned roof, the Wynn Macau looks just like its Las Vegas sister but inside the dark tinted glass clad exterior, China’s newly rich fill the 100,000 square foot casino and even the substantial no-smoking section called Red 8, stationing themselves around the clock at the 380 slot machines plus blackjack, roulette and fan-tan tables, an ancient Chinese game. Tea service and a dim sum dominated food court are tasty touches. To avoid the on-going mad dash of gamblers, take a taxi from the Macao ferry terminal rather than the resort’s free shuttle bus. English skills are limited throughout the hotel except at the restaurants but guestrooms are ample and luxuriously appointed in an elegant manner that recalls American resorts of yesteryear thanks to floral covered couches, saffron hued fabrics and high beds embellished with comfy pillow tops. Andy Warhol’s day-glow flower prints and generous flat screen televisions manage not to clash with the classic. Expansive bathrooms have plenty of room for a shower with bench, two sinks and a deep soak bathtub ideal for Wynn’s lemongrass citrus bubble bath. Shoppers cruise the lobby, past life size cloisonné camels, into Chanel, Prada and especially Louis Vuitton or to pet the faux crocodile walls alongside the in house Rolex outlet. The spa offers a luxurious Golden Fortune bath meant to increase the odds but even though who don’t win big can enjoy the reasonably priced abundant breakfast buffet in the lobby café. The one hour ferry ride from Hong Kong makes this an ideal weekend jaunt even for short stay business travelers. Those who wish to venture beyond the property can explore Macao’s Portuguese heritage or shop for Chinese antiques but most Wynn guests will only walk outside the hotel to get a better view of the unexpectedly entertaining performance lake which springs to life nightly."

We had an amazing stay at the Wynn Macau. I was only around 2,500 MOP for the suite pictured in the photos. It has massive and had wonderful views of the city and lights. The breakfast was a wonderful experience as well. They had a large selection of different foods in the buffet, including nice cheese and honeycomb. They also have a selection of Asian and western dishes that the cook to order. The staff were really outgoing and friendly. The casino was a little boring to be honest; however, this is pretty standard for Macau casinos. It was interesting to see the increased number of digital table games. I would estimate the number of video table games have doubled over the previous 10 years.

$500 a night... The rooms simply are not worth anything near $500 a night. $100 to $150 a night is absolutely reasonable for these size and quality of rooms. $500 a night is just ridiculous and way over priced

So close to the Macao, Hong Kong boarder that if you arrive late it won’t take you long until you can rest your head. With lots of shops within 10 minutes walk, along with a bus station and taxi rank minutes away. Activities within the building and close by is limited if you come with children without spending a lot. So you better win it in the many casinos around and in the building.

Wonderful hotel, casino and tourist place. People are mostly nice and friendly. So many shops and restaurants to choose from. - Facai (fortune) tree is not in place recently - Free sky cabin tree is wonderful with music fountain - Betting on the table seems to be 3000 local currency. I saw one people having 1 million local currency on a outside table, so the betting is very large

23 July 25 Poker room has moved to a new location in a corner. Only 1 table 1000/2000 and 2 tables 50/100 is running. The lively scene of the past is no longer there. There's no promotion of any kind. Better to visit MGM Cotai or the Venetian for poker.

Got upgraded to a suite again, loads of space, although couldn’t get the shower to work but I love taking a bath in hotels more than shower so it wasn’t a big deal for me.

It is not the Wynn Palace (located in Cotai) but it is pleasant. The casino are not wide open like in Las Vegas.
