"Wynwood Kitchen and Spirits was shut down by the city after failing a building inspection on October 16. The bar was cited for various violations, including no smoke detectors, inoperable exit signs, and exposed wiring in the basement." - aimee.levitt

"Wynwood is a new bar designed to bring a lighthearted Miami vibe to Wicker Park. It will feature custom graffiti art by local painter Fidel Rodriguez, draft cocktails including a frozen mojito, and a menu that highlights familiar American bar fare with Miami additions such as a Cubano sandwich and ceviche. The venue includes a 5,000 square-foot space with a small cafe patio, DJ booth, and various seating options. It aims to create a welcoming environment for all, with offerings that include low-ABV and zero-proof cocktails." - Naomi Waxman

I have never had this much fun at a brunch. It was so lit. They did kind of mess up our order but made up by giving us a free round of shots. It wasn't super packed so we didn't have to leave after 90 minutes. I drank for 6 hours straight best birthday ever service was amazing. Love the mimosa package. Food was good

While visiting Chicago for the first time we ended up on this side of town, initially we wanted to go somewhere else but we came across this place. The owner and his girlfriend were very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Kanela (I hope I spelled that right) was absolutely amazing not only did she provide friendly service she gave us a few places to check out while we were in town. The food was great hot and fresh and the drinks were strong just like I like them. I would definitely recommend and come again if I was ever in town.

I've been a loyal fan of Wynwood for months now. The staff is amazing- everyone is super friendly and welcoming. They make sure you have a blast every time! They always have the best DJs too! I was recently in for the return of Wigs & Waffles Sunday #dragbrunch. This was my first drag brunch there and they turned it out! #bottomlessmimosas brunch goes from 12-4pm!! And they have multiple shows throughout so you can join the party any time! We will definitely be back over and over!

The food itself is 5/5 stars. Inventive, extremely high quality, excellent selection and solid variety on menu. The location buried way up in Northwestern Hospital is pretty rough. As a result it was deserted today for lunch, which doesn’t help the vibe any. The service was excellent as were the cocktails - no complaints whatsoever on what I consumed. I’m sure once the outdoor patio opens when summer eventually arrives, the star rating would go up at least 0.5.

Unique and excellent service. The artwork is phenomenal and the food is A1 in MY opinion. Swing by and try one of the four frozen drinks to keep cool in the heat or even enjoy sitting on the outdoor patio to see the sights and diversity of the neighborhood! I'd definitely recommend taking your date HERE!

I'll preface everything with, the food WAS pretty good. Service was pretty terrible, server never even came back to ask if we wanted a second drink. Breakfast Tacos were supposed to have egg/chorizo, they definitely had NO egg and the staff refused to admit it. Pretty disappointed.

Amazing team..food is mediocre, but when you drinks your lunch it doesn't matter. The staff is wonderful. So fun, nice, personable. The new girl, T, was incredible. It was her first day Sunday and she killed it. Highly recommend, Will definitely go back.
