The restaurant, under the direction of chef Christian Messier, plans to feature vegetables, meats, and seafood from local farms and breads from Atlanta’s H+F Bread Company. In addition to its full menu, Xhibit will provide hotel guests with quick-serve foods such as pastries and quiches as well as coffee from Smyrna’s Rev Coffee." - Beth McKibben

Google
My boyfriend and I tried Xhibit Studio Kitchen and Bar for breakfast this morning, and wow, it did not disappoint! We’re big breakfast fans, so naturally, we went a little overboard and ordered the Biscuits and Gravy ($18), Applewood Smoked Bacon ($7), Pancakes ($6), and Fried Potatoes ($6). No regrets—every bite was incredible! The biscuits and gravy stole the show—perfectly seasoned with a little kick, easily the best I’ve ever had (and I don’t say that lightly). The food came out hot and fast, and everything looked as good as it tasted. If you’re a breakfast lover like us, put this place on your list ASAP—you won’t regret it.

There wasn’t really anything close within walking distance so we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. This is one of the best hotel restaurants I’ve ever eaten at! Everything was just fantastic. The tomato soup was so fresh & we couldn’t figure out why it was so delicious, but it was!we were the only ones in there early, but it ended up being full when we left. Check it out!

It’s pretty typical fare, for a hotel breakfast. The steak & eggs were cooked to order and served with potatoes and toast. The Hangover hamburger helper with potatoes also got the job done. Although it was a bit of a wait from the kitchen, the server was kind and polite.

I wanted to grab some breakfast nearby. The wait staff is friendly and professional, but the breakfast food is over priced, definitely just out of a can, and not nearly as good as some of these photos show. You’re looking at $6 for bacon, $8 for runny grits, and $5 for some of the worst coffee you’ve had in your life. Disappointed because the dinner/lunch and bar seems so great. I assumed breakfast would also be great but I was wrong.

After leaving the Center Stage Theater the group wanted to grab dinner. We walked a block down to this bright colorful restaurant. Our waitress, Zora was great! We were all pleased with our meals, and will for sure visit again.

Great staff and food. Went here for breakfast as I was staying in the Hilton Canopy hotel (same building). Breakfast buffet is excellent especially with not having to even step outside.

Joel (Like Noel) was amazing with her attentiveness, recommendations, and service! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! Would highly recommend!

Yelp
More like 3.5 stars but bumped it up to 4. I tried this restaurant for dinner and breakfast because I was staying at the Canopy Hotel and got a food credit. Overall it was nice and convenient, especially not wanting to wander far in the cold weather. For breakfast, I had eggs and the potatoes which came out sizzling hot. Service was good. However my dinner meal was way too salty. I'm sensitive to salt and feel you could always add salt than take away. I had the black eye pea soup and only picked out the peas and vegetables and left behind the liquid because of the saltiness. I liked the warm cornbread that came with the soup though. Brussels sprouts were tasty but not very crispy. A tad less salt would make it better as well.

Yelp
It was fine. Food was fine. Service was fine. Ambiance was fine. No complaints. Nothing to rave about. (Front desk staff was AMAZING, tho!)

Yelp
Great drink. Good service. Nice ambiance. Ok food (you can get the same spicy chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A for $5., instead of $15.) The important thing to know about this place is that there isn't a sign outside; instead, there's a sign for the hotel.

Yelp
It was a small artsy place in a cozy looking hotel. They were severely understaffed - pretty sure there was only one server and no host person at all. Nobody were at the door to greet me so I and another customer that happened to be there had to find a seat ourselves. It won't be until 10 minutes or so later that the server finally gets to our table - counting us two there were 3 tables of people at the time. The food was fine, a bit better than mid but didn't really leave an impression.

Iris M.

Yelp
The service is B A D. There's no sign saying whether you should seat yourself or wait to be seated so we were just standing there waiting for something to happen and had to ask. When we were sat our waiter didn't introduce himself, didn't ask us how we were and acted confused when my aunt and mom asked for a coke. He gave us the bill before our food came which we thought was weird And then we had to ask for our cups to be refilled and believe me this confused him too. He never asked how the food was, only asked us if we were okay once. I got the cat fish with grits and luckily it was good.

Yelp
Came in minutes before kitchen closes and staff was welcoming. Nice small crowd in the place. Had the Nashville Chicken and it didn't disappoint! Tender and juicy...and bun was great as well. A ton of delicious fries with it. Huge sandwich and couldn't be better! All staff very nice. I'll be back. Prices reasonable. Thanks Joelle!

Yelp
Quick service for hotel guests. Regular assortment of breakfast foods. Cool modern atmosphere. Not much to write home about.

Yelp
I love hotels bars.... They make me a little lazy because I get stuck in the hotel and don't want to leave when I find a gem. The service was great, the restaurant was clean, but I'll never be okay with a 400% price increase on drinks at a hotel bars. We were there last Saturday and the young man referred us to Kandi's restaurant. Tell him thank you. We were excited to go, but they stop seating people by the time we were dropped off. (DEFINITELY NOT his fault), we should've called first.

Yelp
Xhibit restaurant in the Canopy hotel Midtown Atlanta is a great neighborhood restaurant. Weather your staying at the hotel, working in one of the offices nearby or live in the area. This place is great! Electric atmosphere, great craft drink options and the food is on point. Taner, Renee, and the entire team at Xhibit I have gotten to know while I am staying at the Canopy are awesome. I eat solo on business but I have seen them in action from a couple of people, to larger groups and even special occasions. They handle it all with professionalism and true hospitality. The food is amazing. I have enjoyed several dishes. Thank you chef Christian and his kitchen crew!

Yelp
This is a hotel lobby restaurant. Its Yelp menu looked amazing; however, when you get to the restaurant, the menu is greatly abbreviated. The food is okay and the service is good. If you have other dining options, I suggest you choose some other place.

Yelp
Wow, just wow is all I can really say. Just amazing! I got the steak frites, which was prepared and plated differently from most steak frites that I'm accustomed to at different restaurants ... as they separate the frites, and serve the steak sliced, bedded on top of fresh Arugula :) The fries were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, topped with slightly grazed Parmesan cheese, and truffle oil. My friend got the chicken friccase which is on their lunch menu and that was amazing too! Last but not least, their desert menu is to die for! If you have a sweet tooth, then you have to try their peach cobbler. it comes served hot, in a steel iron pan, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was soooo good! Apparently they switch their menu pretty often as well, so keep that in mind. Don't be surprised if you look on Yelp and see something you like and it's no longer on their menu ... the con sometimes about fine dining in general. Other than that, I highly recommend Xhibit Studio Kitchen & Bar.

Yelp
Are they open?!?! Went here on a Monday at 12ish and the doors were open but not one person, employee or customer were in the restaurant.

Yelp
Food was very very good. Made fresh great flavor. The Queso, Midtown Burger, Wings, Plant Based Wings, Cajun Chicken Sandwich, and fries were really delicious. The servers were frequently. Restaurant was very clean. They were very attentive. They have great prices. I would highly recommend it. The Guacamole however is really really nasty. It's a miss. It tastes really artificial and sour. The consistency is very gooey and gross. The flavor is not it. I think it's a great appetizer or side to have if it's tweaked and changed completely.

Yelp
Hannah the bartender serves alcohol to underage minors without asking for ID. While my husband walked away she poured a $40 drink out without my permission or any warning. Two weeks back i visited this same bar after I was in a life altering car accident and hannah saw me bruised up when she was serving me. In front of 8-10 of her BAR guest she said I'm abused by my husband referring to my bruises from a former accident. serving underage alcohol will result in her liquor license being suspended .. What's even worse is this women tried to say I was A victim of domestic violence.. TO ALL OF the guest she was serving. Imagine if I was actually being abused, Hannah should Have came up like a respectful women asking if I was okay if that's how she felt. Guess will see how long it takes her to lose her job, already reported to the canopy supervisor so that he can look at the camera's + filed a report with the Georgia liquor license as well.

Yelp
Only went for breakfast a couple times while staying in the hotel. It is buffet style and the same pretty much everyday. Bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, pancakes, yogurt and a few others as well. Unlimited all you can eat for $18 so it's a pretty good deal!

Bill R.

Yelp
The food was ok but the menu posted on their website is not what they are serving. The pizza was good. The pimento cheese appetizer is not like any pimento cheese I have ever had. If you are looking for pizza it was ok.

Michelle H.

Yelp
Food was good. We ordered angus burger, truffle potato gratin, mushroom flatbread. Everything was pretty good. Service was average, nothing much to complain about. However, they don't validate parking here and parking fee is $10 (minus the valet tip). You must valet park here too as self parking is not an option. (This restaurant is inside/part of Canopy Hilton Hotel) Thought this was kinda ridiculous. Never have I been to any hotel restaurants that don't validate parking

Yelp
Excellent service. Manager even brought our food out! To note, as of 6/25 their full menu online is not available and they have a smaller menu as they are still bringing back fill kitchen post COVID! It was still excellent, had a salmon salad.

Doug L.

Yelp
Not open now. Doors locked, no customers or employees visible thru the deadbolted glass front door. Not sure when or if it is ever open. Do not make a special trip.

Angie R.

Yelp
Excellent excellent excellent! I love this place, I go to school next door & this place become our favorite place to hang out and to have drinks. Tonight I had this Delicious steak recommended by the female manager Renee. Service from Hanan was phenomenal...Craft cocktails by Jeff soothing!

Yelp
I Stayed in the canopy hotel for a week two times so far. Both times have been an incredible experience. This restaurant/bar is awesome. Not only is it a complimentary breakfast, but it has amazing options. From sous vide egg bites to fruit cereal and an international charcuterie station. But the best part about our stay way Mitch the bartender. Don't get me wrong; everyone was really nice, helpful and professional but Mitch really went the extra mile to make our stay an enjoyable one. He has a great personality, is very attentive, and always made sure we were taken care of. Mitch is a rockstar and MADE our stay. Thanks Mitch!

Yelp
Love the lit up signage XHIBIT reflected in the floor to ceiling glass windows with street views. Great place for a quick drink and an appetizer or a salad. We checked in late afternoon, and were invited to wine tasting. We ordered a kale and goat cheese salad from the kitchen and roasted cauliflower. Good, fresh tasty salad, drizzled in olive oil and generously sprinkled with quinoa, goat cheese crumble and julienned sweet potatoes. Yummy! Paired well with the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon in mini tall wine goblets. Perfect for us to unwind. This seems like a safe place, with Avant-garde decor, fresh zinnias on the tables, attentive bar tender and hostess. Open till 10PM. Now off to some well deserved zzzzzs.

Dane J.

Yelp
Cool place. The bartender, Mitch, is great. The overall upscale-artsy-business vibe is very cool. Didn't order food, but the drinks are reasonable, considering.

H G.

Yelp
Be careful with the bartender he's very sneaky and manipulative. He will serve you drinks which he makes it sound and appear like on the house but then bill you. We caught on to it by the second night. Just something to be aware of...not cool.

Deborah A.

Yelp
The staff is very friendly and made recommendations. The Greek Salad was amazing! Definitely recommend!

Celeste W.

Yelp
The food and drinks were amazing... Melissa and Tanner were my bartenders, they were very outgoing and knowledgeable about their craft. The customer service was great!!! The environment was very relaxed, great place for a date or pregame drinks. The manager Renee was very pleasant. This will definitely be my new afterwork hangout!!!!

Dawn B.

Yelp
I had the vegetable pasta and it was very watery, lacked flavor, and did not have the tomatoes that it said were a part of the meal. I also ordered the buttermilk pie which felt like it came out of a freezer and also had no seasonal berries with it (as advertised) When I inquired about the temperature and the lack of berries they took it back and gave the same ice cold pie now accented with 2 cut strawberries. I declined the offer. Best part of the meal was the Prosecco.

Yelp
Honestly I wanted to like this establishment, especially since the Canopy staff was so warm and friendly. The only staff members at Xhibit that were friendly were a bartender named Britney and a gentlemen staff member whose name I didn't catch, but he was working the breakfast shift on October 6th. Very friendly guy. However, the server, whose name I don't recall... decided to hand myself and my husband our tab before we were done. She didn't ask if we needed anything or how the service was, she also didn't give the couple next to us their tab. Here's the backstory. My husband and I received 2 complimentary breakfast coupons and I was at the restaurant first and my husband came 10 min after me. I had told the nice gentle man I had a complimentary breakfast coupon for 2. I'm not sure if he relayed the message to the server who gave us our tab. But she gave us a receipt that had the balance of 0.00 crossed off and replaced it with the cost of one breakfast. Which was about 20 something dollars to which she wrote that amount by hand. Instead of her asking she assumed we were trying to pull a fast one on her and it made me feel pre judged and not welcomed. Next time... I'd appreciate if the servers communicate, greet, and provide proper service prior to assuming you are trying to get a free meal. Customer service is really important and if better training needs to be provided, then the managers should take the time to train them on how to properly approach customers without offending, assuming and providing a lack of customer service.
