Xun Yu Si Kao

We got the cat fish, cabbage, and crispy chicken bone. The crispy chicken bone was something new to us. It was interesting eating the soft bone in it, but it was very tasty with the dry seasoning on the crispy chicken. The fish was also delicious, loved the spices. We purposely chose dishes that are less spicy and it was perfect, little spicy but not too much to handle. Also, their plate sets are super adorable. Excellent service.

This is a place where offer really great grilled fish and spicy chicken feet. Everytime I travel to Houston, I will go to here for dinner. Wish Dallas can have Xunyu. 😩 The reason why I give four star is because of the price. Around 45 bucks for a grilled fish which serves two people. Other than that, everything is great!

New restaurant is always hot for at least the 1st three months. The decorations is fashionable compared with other Sichuan spicy restaurants. You’re likely to be attracted by the busy warm hall if walked by. The signature is this hot&spicy fish. But as Sichuan cuisine expert, i can say its style is authentic yet the flavor is not much so. The fish is insipid at first but after it boils for a while it gets tasty, but then it gets salty. I do recommend the smashed peppers with the eggplant. But never the pig intestines.

This was my first time eating here. The place looked nice inside. They served us edamame for an appetizer and warm tea. It was what I needed on a chilly day. We ordered a tilapia hot and sour hot pot. It was good, spicy, and very filling for two. Definitely try this new place.

I have been here for few times, i have to say that I LOVE THE FOOD! i always order the spicy fish grilled pot which is just so good!! you have to try their grilled fish when you come, also you can add side dishes to be cooked with the fish, i recommend enoki mushroom!

Excellent food. Decor is kinda cool too. We ordered eggplant in garlic sauce + green beans + crispy cartilage chicken. Everything had a distinct taste and was delicious (and I'm usually very hard to please). Better than pepper twins and malasichuan imo. Probably my fav Sichuan place in Houston.

Honestly this was extremely disappointing taste wise. I love dry hot pot and eat it often, and this is definitely not the dish to order from them. It was bland and the spice is not as aromatic as it normally should be.

They look open! I was just passing by, didn't get a chance to stop and eat, but it looked pretty good! I'm looking forward to it and will update my review when I get a chance to eat here... :D
