Took the whole family tonight to experience this gem in town. It didn't disappoint a soul! I dropped a bill here just to try nearly everything kosher, and it was all fresh and delicious. The pasta, the parm, the appetizers - all top notch! Even the water was delightful, and I always bring my own! Coffee & dessert was an amazing addition. The staff was attentive, efficient, and friendly. This is probably the single best dining experience I've had in 5 years here... I can't believe I waited so long. If you’re looking for the perfect dinner date spot or a great night out with the family, look no further! We'll certainly be there regularly 💯

I recently visited Yada on Franklin at 111 Franklin St, in Clarksville, TN. My son, daughter in law and myself had a delicious Sunday brunch. The atmosphere was fantastic and we were waited on promptly. We ordered a variety of menu items and shared amongst ourselves which it appears to be the idea of concept of this restaurant. It was delicious and worthy of a repeat visit.

Google
Small bites. Water needs to be filtered. Very upscale not family style, modern Italian. No dinner plates, no course change, paper napkins, one fork given, a large serving spoon given with tortellini. No side plates. Water empty not refilled.

Google
Nice atmosphere, especially on Tuesday. Not many patrons in. Food is scratch and excellent. Prepare to drop at least $100 for 2 people. I'll show receipts below. We got goat cheese and red sauce, chicken Parm, peppamento cheese, tortellini, pomodoro, a bottle of Moscato, and a tiramisu. 2 adults, 8 yr old and 1 yr old that eats grown up food. Total was 135. Food was excellent. Tops were goat cheese and peppamento imo. Chicken Parm was a bit overdo e imo.

Google
A wonderful atmosphere. Service was great. There is a large dining room with an impressive bar, but we sat in a large private room as we were a large group. I ordered the signature Yada Salad and added breaded shrimp. The salad was delicious, but the shrimp had too much breading. I'm sorry l missed the award winning Tiramisu! Guess I'll have to return.

Best cocktails in the Clarksville area! Large cocktail menu, gorgeous drinks that are well balanced meet a wide range of cocktail taste preferences & styles, & the bar tenders & servers provide excellent service!

Google
Absolutely AMAZING spot! Great place to go to brunch with friends and order a few plates to share! Each dish had EXCELLENT flavors and the service was absolutely wonderful! I will be going back for brunch again! Excellent savory and sweet options, and the Mimosa flight was excellent!

Google
Food was divine. Best caprese salad ever. The server said the dishes were small and to order a couple per person, and they are NOT small and we couldn’t come close to eating it all. But it was all so delicious I would come again in a heartbeat. I would’ve loved to try a dessert but no room.

Yelp
Had the fish and chips. Wonderful piece of cod little breading . Growing up in the PNW seafood is my thing. They made me very happy. Service was wonderful.

Yelp
We came for my birthday dinner and had a wonderful time! All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly, I do not remember our server's name but she was very sweet and gave excellent recommendations! All of the food came out in a timely manner and was hot, fresh, and prepared exactly as described on the menu. We look forward to returning soon! My favorites were the burrata, London broil, and the London Fog martini.

Yelp
killllller food as always. We tried a couple things, Thai Chili Wings, Italian sausage Bolognese, espresso martinis....you name it. GET the espresso martini, it's 10/10 the best I've had. Service was great, waiters feel like friends and it's easy service. Nice to see the owner walking around as well checking in, she truly cares about the place and it shows. The seats that we sat in might honestly be the best/most cushioned seats I've ever felt in a restaurant. When you come in, you get this family friendly, but very upscale vibe. I could honestly eat here every weekend and honestly even considered doing a menu tour. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!

Yelp
Yada on Franklin is a vibe! The restaurant is quaint and beautifully furnished. They even have adorable window seats where you can enjoy looking out onto downtown Clarksville, which is also beautifully lit at night. Our waiter Ryan was amazing! He was very knowledgeable on the menu and gave us many recommendations for food, dessert and drinks. Now let's talk food. OH MY GOODNESS, the food her is top notch. We were told that the dining style is Cicchetti which is where you order multiple entrees to share at the table. Every dish we tried was above expectation. Next time, I need to try the pizza! If you are a local to Clarksville or just dropping in for a visit you must give Yada a try! Oh, and they also do Brunch on weekends!

Yelp
Me and my husband's first time here and our first date night since we had our baby 8 months ago. Ronald was our server and he was amazing. Great recommendations, Knowledgeable of the menu, very friendly and professional. Not pictured: the carbonara, halloumi cheese sticks, brussel sprouts, and meatballs. Everything was delicious. The brussel sprouts were bomb diggity, I will go back just for them. My hub's fave was the pizza. We can't wait to go back, and to try the brunch. In my opinion, best food we have had in Clarksville.

Tim T.

Yelp
Food was average but very expensive. Service was slow and a bit condescending. The ambience was nice and open.

Yelp
Yada is very conveniently located downtown Clarksville and has the cutest feel with having tables in the glass windows which let you people watch. I have tried the brunch, lunch, and dinner here. Overall it is not the most gluten free friendly which can be difficult. For dinner they do serve a gf pasta and pizza but it is a little disappointing. The pasta was a tiny serving and the pizza was only half covered in sauce. I have enjoyed other things here like the tots which are delicious and the eggs in purgatory which were just ok. The thing I enjoy most about this restaurant is the cocktails. The key lime pie martini is a HIT and all the other drinks follow its lead. The service is always really good here

Yelp
-No sweet tea -No unsweet tea -No lemonade -No hot tea -No espresso/cappuccino (machine broke) -No regular pizza dough so no brick oven pizza First time there, I will never go back. Nice atmosphere, the chicken Parm was good, but they do some sort of weird "family style" servings. Over priced, no side dishes come with your meal. I am Italian and I know family style, and this is more like lets be "artsy fartsy" style. I was expecting big things, and I was highly disappointed. There is much better Italian food in Clarksville.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
yeah it was an absolutely amazing experience. It was some of the best food and the pizza is absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back. The server was a 10 out of 10 and the food was 11 out of 10. 1000% one of the best places to go on a date or just have a lovely time with your significant other.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Clarksville - hands down! I don't love going to Downtown on the weekends because finding parking is for the birds...but we still do it anyways! I love that the dishes are made for sharing - we always order a few things and nosh all together with a smattering of appetizers. However, last night I had a date with myself and it was perfect. I sat at the bar with my Kindle and enjoyed some cocktails and an appetizer. The original appetizer I chose was 86'd for the night - so after some suggestions from the bartender I decided on the Peppamento Cheese. It is served hot with a nice warm bread for dipping. If you like cheese, you will LOVE this dip! It's got a little kick to it and it pairs so well with the bread. Naturally, I ate the whole thing myself as dinner. But it's a great share for 2-3 people if you're splitting items. I always get The Devil Wears Prada as my drink. ALWAYS. It's a mix of tequila, wine and pineapple with a hint of lime. The first time I got this drink I was like YAAAAASSSS. If I ever bring someone there, it's always my suggestion! I even talked another woman into trying it last night too. I can't help it! It's just that good! Drinks do take a few minutes to be made since they're mostly specialties and multiple layers being put together. The drinks are always consistent though - which is great since they do have so many flavors involved. Just be patient - it's worth it! The food always comes out pretty quick. Ive never waited long after putting my order in and last night was great. I will say that you'll need a mint after eating there. I love all the garlic and peppers and amazing flavors- but before you bend in to talk to your date or friends afterwards, you'll want to freshen up that mouth. *please remember this review is only about this current service and holds no merit towards past or future opinions on reviews!

Yelp
Sooo much potentially and maybe we hit an off night, but we were very disappointed. Let me explain. It was a Friday night, so I anticipated long waits for a table and for food to come out. Checked in at the receptionist table and told it would only be a 30 minute wait. So we sat at the bar for drinks while we waited for a table. We ordered an old fashion, a purple rain and a fresh herds & bread appetizer. Shocked how fast the bread came out, it arrived with minutes, despite our drinks not coming for another 15 minutes. After waiting for almost an hour for our table we finally got to order. Another round of drink and I ordered the Carbonara while my wife ordered the Tortellini. After another LONG wait, my wife's very small portion (8 pieces, you can count them in the picture) came out. (It had to have been 30 minutes for her food. She actually finished her entire meal, and I still waited another 20-30 minutes before my meal even came out.... Which was another small portion size. After a 2+ hour experience we left paying a high end price for poor customer service and picked up Chinese food on the way home as we were still hungry The staff was very nice, the interior decor and overall atmosphere was great. They had a singer singing a lot of Frank Sinatra. Seemed to get a mixed reaction from the crowd, we didn't care much for him, but it's another positive for those that like live music (hopefully you get a better singer than we had) For the price, you can get much better food, portion sizes and timely service in other places around town. Glad we checked it out, but I'll never be back

Yelp
Had been wanting to try Yada for dinner for a while now. Came by last night and I wasn't really impressed. I had the Italian sausage Bolognese. It was good but the portion was tiny. Ordered a side of bread because it doesn't come with the meal and it was 4 tiny pieces. Ordered a martini and it was good. Nothing I was highly satisfied with. Quite honestly left and wasn't full.

Yelp
Yada's interior design is spectacular. I love the copper hammered tables and turquoise blue velvet chairs. The interior decor was very chic and new. Very charming place. Nice staff. I was told that the food is good. It is not authentic Italian food though. Bathrooms were very clean. Service was nice and friendly. She was a little forgetful. She apologized for forgetting to get me a clean drink menu. The one I had was messy with a wine splash on it. I was recommended the Everyone Hates Gin and The Devil Wears Prada Cocktails. I selected the gin one. EVERYONE HATES GIN Bombay Gin, grapefruit juice, lime juice, honey, strawberry syrup, fresh mint, orange bitters, and egg white It was good but not the best cocktail I ever had. Very girly and light. Ambience 5 stars. Service 3 to 4 stars. Cocktail - 4 stars.

Yelp
Nice place but, good atmosphere servers are great ... But there's ALWAYS something going on with the kitchen. "Out of this", "we don't have it any more", "we only serve this on Fridats..." etc.

Anonymous ..

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and that's it. I feel like I'm paying for samples at Costco. Check out my carsar salad...

Yelp
The service and food were very good here. They were upfront about the style of dining (family style) so we ordered plenty of dishes to try. Everything was good and came out timely. I was a little put off by the outside pastry fee because I have never encountered that before, but I get it. I loved the atmosphere.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Awesome customer service! Highly recommend for date night or brunch.

Yelp
Great service with an interesting menu. Food was presented well with few exceptions for being a touch simple. I recommend the pesto pasta had a strong presence on my table.

Yelp
Yada! Glad we gave this place a try. We went on a Thursday evening. No wait for a table, we were seated at a high top table. The chairs were surprisingly comfortable. There is nowhere to hang a purse (they should get those under-the-table hooks!) but hanging it around the back of the chair worked fine. The interior of the restaurant is quite lovely. High tin ceilings, large open floor plan. I've walked by and always seen tables empty up front and assumed the place was dead but it stretches far back and there's tables in the back area that you can't see from the street. For a Thursday the place seemed to have a steady flow of people, but wasn't crowded. This place is not cheap, and it's not a regular restaurant. Our server was awesome and explained right away about their "cicchetti" which essentially means "small plates" (think, tapas). These plates are intentionally small. I've seen some recent reviews with people complaining about the serving size. The menu boasts that Yada is the ONLY cichetti bar in Tennessee! Did they not read the menu? Did their server not explain the concept? Anyways, moving on.... For two people we shared 5 plates. We started with the Brussels sprouts, the bread with red sauce and goat cheese, and the burrata. The food comes out as it's ready, not all together. The items all arrived quickly to our table. The red sauce with goat cheese was absolutely delicious. The Brussels sprouts were also very good, but a bit salty with all the cheese on them. Burrata was perfect. It was served cold, which is not traditional (should be room temp) but it was creamy and lovely. Honestly never thought I'd get a yummy burrata in Clarksville so this was a very nice surprise! The burrata comes with sliced tomato and a balsamic drizzle. Next we ordered the meatball skillet and carbonara. They also came to the table in a timely manner. The meatballs were good, a lot of garlic. The carbonara should be renamed to Alfredo, which is what it is. Carbonara is not a cream sauce, it is made with egg. Now for the drinks. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the drinks were. Our server recommended the Devil Wears Prada which was a mixed drink of Cabernet and tequila. Not something We'd ever had before, but surprisingly delicious! We also received a Peaches and Dreams cocktail, made with white rum, peach and lemon juice. Yum!!! They made me a lovely cappuccino, as well. I think this is a really fabulous spot for drinks and small plates, especially for Clarksville. It wasn't what I expected and I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely a bit pricey for this area, and for that reason I would probably only return for special occasions, but I had a really nice experience here. Five stars for the really nice time. Thanks, Yada!

Yelp
The cutest place for cocktails and dinner! The service was fantastic and the food was fast and delicious! We have been here for lunch and also coffee before and both were amazing. The ambiance in this place is great! I highly recommend for a date night or a dinner with friends!

Yelp
This review is long overdue! I have been to this restaurant quite a few times and I'd like to say that the staff is always nice and courteous. The food is really good. Try the brussell sprouts. It was my least fav. veggie until this place. The staff could tell me about everything on the menu, to include drinks. It gives you upscale dinning vibes right here in clarksville.

Yelp
Recently found out about Yada. Very cool interior and very modern. Probably a good place to sit and have coffee/drinks. They have lots of varieties of teas and coffee drinks. I've only ordered carry out here twice. The first time was actually very good. Great customer service and very friendly staff. Their menu was not bad either. I ordered the grilled cheese on sourdough, with smoked gouda, and added turkey. I like how they give you a couple options to pick your bread, cheese, and any add-ons for the meat (bacon, ham, turkey). I also had the soup of the day which was potato soup. The grilled cheese was well done and crispy and even the turkey was crispy/cooked within the grilled cheese (how it should be). The potato soup was fantastic as well! The second time I ordered carry-out I ordered the same exact thing. This time the grilled cheese wasn't "as done." The bread was soft, like it wasn't grilled at all and the turkey was just thrown on there and not even cooked. Temperature it was fairly warm, but not hot, hot as it should be! The potato soup was very good once again. Overall, pretty good experience. Yada, Amy

Yelp
Great food and drinks. Tapas bar with great Moscow and Tennessee mule. The broccoli is good also.

Matt P.

Yelp
Had lunch in the middle of the week. Coffee drinks were tasty and done well. House salad, SOD and grilled cheese well received. My problem was with the "Caesar" Salad. It should be called the "Not a Caesar Salad". The dressing was blah and nothing like the true fresh dressed salad, cheese had no flavor, croutons looked from a box. Lettuce was not near its' peak. Disappointing offering will keep me away-- I mean if they can't do the simple stuff....

Yelp
Tried this for my first and last. The portions are way to small. Room temp water.Beer and wine choice are better than the food. Had the chick parm and it did come with any pasta.. For those price is ridiculous. 4 people over 100. Could have gotten two pizzas at and several drinks for that at black horse. Hope y'all make it since Clarksville needs good food places. But is not all about the look of a good place. Got to have good food.

Bill H.

Yelp
Service was really good. Friendly, attentive. Here is why this place gets a 1. This why I will never patronize this restaurant again. We ordered 2 different cocktails. One of them was really good..the other, wasn't. We asked to have one of the first cocktails made again(very non chalet because it wasn't an issue). Server was super friendly, and shortly after we received a really good cocktail. Got the bill, didn't scan over it til it was already paid. To see a $3 dollar charge for the cocktail that was returned, that just took whatever experience away and showed us how petty, whoever it was, to ensure we were charged. I expect nothing, ever for free. However to charge, $3 bucks for a returned drink that had a small sip of alcohol tasted, that wasn't satisfying...is really, petty. Especially to surprise your guests with this charge at the end. I guess that $3 bucks meant more than the additional $108 that was charged. We said nothing, paid it and left. For the rest of the, experience.. We had 4 different plates between 2 people. The food was mediocre. Best was the meatballs..not the sauce, yet the meatballs. The chicken parm was burned from the frying. We had one bite, it was inedible. Food wasn't anything to remember. I'd pay double for the small portions, if they tasted anything better than what we experienced. We said nothing about the food while there. Also, walking to the bathroom, the profane laced rap music screaming from your kitchen...goes to show just how in tune, your, chefs, are with their environment...their patrons. I would have been kicked out of any establishment for using any sort of language like this..and rightfully so. Yet your customers are forced to listen to it? This restaurant is a one and done.

Yelp
I used to love this place; in fact it was my favorite place in town. Nice atmosphere, great food, friendly staff... Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Still nice atmosphere and great food, but the staff is absolutely atrocious. They are short, rude, and take customers for granted. The last few times I've been, I've left saying, "that will be my last." But this time, I really do mean it. It seems like the idea that the serving staff is there to meet the customer's requests is a foreign concept. I'm sorry, but I refuse to go to and PAY a place where I am treated like an inconvenience. Downtown Clarksville is coming alive and Yada is no longer the only game in town. I think a healthy reminder of it's the customers that keep the doors open and salaried paid is what is needed. Rude. Rude. Rude. From managing staff down.
google avatar

Stuart S.

Yelp
Great environment and wonderful experience! We ordered a couple of each dishes and shared them with our table, lots of smiles and laughter coupled with some great food and memories. It's not necessary to drive to Nashville any longer when Clarksville has so many new and exciting restaurants downtown!

Clayton R.

Yelp
Presentation is very nice and it's decent flavor wise but portion sizes are ridiculous... this is not a Michelin or James Beard winner I would not think.

Vashti W.

Yelp
Food was average and overpriced. The service was ok, not warm and inviting The ambiance is good.
google avatar

Eliza R.

Yelp
The lunch portions are small, and not my favorite. However we LOVE going here for dinner. The orders are smaller and meant to be shared among the table. A great date place to get a few samples of things and try some of all the food (which has ALL been delicious so far, even their Brussels sprouts!) the drinks are strong and yummy. The tiramisu paired with espresso martinis is my favorite way to end meals there
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Brunch, Dinner and Cocktails are all very good. One of the best places in Clarksville TN to eat.

Yelp
I really really wanted to love this place, I got a recommendation from a friend and the place looked super cool and trendy. I made an 8 person reservation for our Mom's group to have dinner. When we got there our reservation was all set and confirmed but they provided us 2 tables of 4 and said they could not combine them due to safety issues. This didn't allow us to enjoy our dinner as a whole party of 8. The food was only OK, I got the primavera and it seriously tasted like classical Alfredo sauce. What makes me the most upset about my experience there was when the waitress came to give us our bills she did not tell us 20% was already added for the tip so we each gave her an additional tip. Once I realized i asked the manager to correct it. I was not willing to get our waitress a $35 tip on a $60 order when the service was mediocre at best. 2 weeks later I realized it has not been corrected and I had to dispute with my bank. Just all in all that seems very tacky to me to not tell your customers. Lastly another one of our guests never received her dinner, only when asked where her dinner was it was brought in a to go bag. Also she was brought at $55 glass of wine and was never told the price. All in all, I don't think I will be back to eat. Maybe sit at the bar and just have drinks.

Jess H.

Yelp
Celebrated my daughter's 14th birthday here. It's a cute restaurant downtown clarksville. We were excited for Italian, but it was not much Italian on the menu (not authentic).

Anthony V.

Yelp
The shareable plates were very nicely put together, and very yummy. Jade was super sweet and personable. I will come back !

Yelp
First time coming here; my wife had previously been here. The service. I cannot say enough about the service. Our server was super attentive and patient. She took the time to explain the portion size. We ordered appetizers and took the time to put in our dinner order after our appetizers were served. That might seem insignificant but too many places don't give time to eat your apps before the main portion comes. The food. The food was great. The smaller serving sizes allowed us to eat without feeling over-full. Since it didn't all come at once we felt comfortable enjoying the meal and taking our time. Other places we feel rushed to get out, but we didn't feel like that here. The atmosphere. Here's where it gets weird. The decor is great. There was a live singer that was just not good. He seemed classically trained, but he was off-putting. He sang Billy Joel's "Piano Man" except he had no piano. While he was singing he was texting throughout the song. His song choices didn't make sense. He went from crooning to *NSYNC to Brittny Spears to Neil Diamond to Garth Brooks. Some might say he has a wide range. I disagree. The food, service, decor feel like most of those artist don't really fit. He took a lot of breaks and seemed really interested in a table of women near the stagE and his phone. The live music is fine as long as it fits.

Yelp
Today was the first time I'd stepped foot into Yada on Franklin. I loved it at first sight. It's really nice inside - roomy and comfortable with lots of seating. They have one bar with coffee/smoothies/tea and another bar for the over-21-crowd. My sister and I wanted something cold, frothy and refreshing and jumped into the coffee/smoothie line. Once we reached the counter, we met Darla, the owner. She's absolutely lovely with a witty twinkle in her eye. She was able to graciously steer me with my craving for something fattening away from the something fattening on over to a delicious Pear, Peach, and Apricot all-fruit smoothie. She insisted on adding a little protein to the smoothie which glammed it up to heavenly. Sis and I were delighted and willingly suffered brain-freeze to slurp the fruity goodness down. I promised Darla that we'd be back to try every single one of the smoothies (we will), but I also plan to go back to try the lunch/dinner offerings as well. I may even head on over to that over-21-crowd bar at some point. Who knows? But I'll definitely be back! I highly recommend this establishment. Note, they are very busy on a Saturday because the locals from The Clarksville Downtown Market all head here for their caffeine fix after shopping for flowers and fresh produce.

Yelp
There's nothing I didn't like about it. So glad Clarksville has great restaurants like this. They serve small plates so great for get togethers and sharing. They have large dishes also. I felt like food was authentic. Great cocktails! I'm a Realtor and recommend to all my newcomers!

Jessica L.

Yelp
Best place in Clarksville for girls night or date night. Drinks are awesome, food and shareable plate mentality is great. Vibe is awesome. Everyone can complain about something but this is the best overall in Clarksville.

Yelp
Their penne Al foro , kramer pizza and green beans were to die for! I'm a NY native and this is the only Italian south of the mansion Dickson I've ever loved! Wish we had room for the tiramisu

Yelp
We were visiting and taken to this restaurant. The couple we were with frequent, and ordered for us. There were 5 in our party. The server was very helpful, telling us the process, as this is the only Cicchetti restaurant in TN. We ordered bread, green beans, burrata, meat balls, Thai chili pepper wings, Carbonara, Eggplant parmigiana , and The Kramer pizza (my favorite). It was all amazing, and would order everything again. You feel like you can try new things, because it isn't a whole meal. The food comes out as it's done, so you get food quick and in a steady stream. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My favorite date spot in Clarksville! The service is SUPERB and the small plates make the evening a dining experience. I have never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. Not to mention, the bar is gorgeous and well stocked! Be sure to make a reservation :)

Yelp

Yelp
OMG. Absolutely the best. Found this cute spot for breakfast. Coffee is delicious, sandwich is so tasty and the service right on par. You will not be disappointed coming here. And yes the blue chairs are cute!

Yelp
Or first visit to Yada and we had a really nice evening. The decor is all refinished original and the music set the tone. If you are coming for dinner they don't seat until 5pm, but we had a nice seat at the bar to wait. The purple rain cocktail was nice, not a sweet drink, just tasty. We ordered the fried cauliflower and that was filled with flavor too. We will definitely return

Yelp
Everything was delicious here! The service was great as well as the food. Our favorite was The Kramer pizza and the brussel sprouts! The purple rain, the local, and the espresso martini were all great too!

Yelp
Very cool vibe & fresh food. I liked the from scratch kitchen concept. Unlike typical restaurants, we felt like we were encouraged to have a relaxed, order as you go dining experience rather than a quick in and out rush job. Service was great, they're pretty up front that their portions are on the smaller side & recommend you order a couple dishes to share. Don't go into it expecting one plate per person to be enough. A good way to sample multiple things on the menu! Coming back for sure.

Yelp
A fast favorite for girls' nights. Love the vibe, and whether it's early brunch bagels and Spanish lattes or an evening bite and cocktails, this spot is amazing!
