I am so impressed! It’s actually hard to get me this impressed. Carlos was absolutely fantastic. The best service I’ve had in years living in Miami. The Miami spice menu is brilliant and filling! Truly fresh ingredients that have the perfect balance of flavor and portion. I had a spicy mango margarita that was out of this world! You can tell the bartender takes pride and care with every drink. So worth it. Everyone from the people cleaning the table to the owner came to make sure this was a great experience. They really go above and beyond and they need all the recognition they deserve. I will be back!

This is one of the top choices in the area for a fun dining experience, with delectable food and great service. It's recently renovated and more improvement to come according to management. Me and my group had a blast and it is a place to visit again and again for the locals and tourists alike.

By far one of the best restaurants I have ever been. Service, food quality, portions & ambiance are top notch. Came here with some friends for my birthday, the chef was kind enough to come to the table and checked on us. Rolls and shrimp popcorn were our favorite

We went here for the first time and we were so amazed!!! From the outside to inside, the place is beautiful! Nice ambience, instagrammable wall art and display💜! Every food we ordered were “a must try” and you will not regret ordering it! So worth it!!! Customer service is excellent and superb!!! All of them are amazing! Excellent Japanese restaurant. Great selection of rolls, sashimi and meats. Full bar with awesome cocktails. Fantastic service, they truly care about the guest experience. Thank you Nara I will be seeing you guys pretty often. 👍

Where do I start!? Everything was AMAZING. The service was phenomenal. The music and vibes were perfect for a fun Friday for the whole fam and the FOOD... the food was TO DIE for!!! The sushi was super fresh. My mom was obsessed with the giant fish that she got to pick and they made for her. Everything was great. Also, the cocktails were delicious & creative. A must check out spot!!!

This place is so good I had to return twice in one week to repeat some items and try more things on the menu. This place is a whole entire vibe! Check the instagram page for the special events for the week. First time I went was on a Wednesday night and it was ladies night, large group to celebrate and we also got a hookah. Let’s talk about the aesthetics first, place is gorgeous. Walking in the first thing you notice is the very elegant decor, the bar is on the right and restaurant has an open feel with foliage on the ceiling. The place is classy and very much what you would expect to dine at a trendy spot in Miami. The service was impeccable, it had a fine dine feel but yet relaxed; hard to explain because you expect fine dine service to be stiff. The staff is attentive without being hovering and our waitress guided us through to menu effortlessly highlighting the delicious dishes on the menu. The food is incredible just writing this review my brain wants the spicy tuna crunch appetizer, I think about this particular dish often. The tuna was finely chopped with a just the right amount of heat on a bed of a crispy rice cake bc with an umami sauce that is just to die for. The chicken lettuce cups was so delicious we had to order a second one, a little messy to eat but that is typical to anything that you eat on a bed of lettuce. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy, the slaw was crunchy and the sauce … well let’s just say the chef knows his stuff. We had the edamame with the sea salt and this edamame is sautéed and the salt comes flaming, the orange sesame salmon was perfectly executed with cauliflower and a carrot ginger purée, we had the Nara Miami Roll with fried plantains, shrimp tempura mango and guava was an explosion of Miami flavors in one bite and we had a dessert sampler just because. Cocktails the menu was definitely crafted by a master mixologist because the flavors compliments the food and the presentation was gram worthy. The smoked old fashioned was a show in itself. I am mad at myself for not remembering the gin cocktail ingredients because that is definitely a cocktail I would like to have again and again. It was well balanced with the perfect amount of sweet and tart bringing out the aromatics of the gin. The second visit we had to try a few more items and repeat the tuna and the edamame. The roasted cauliflower, crispy shrimp, chicken katsu and the octopus were also superb. I can say that everything I have tried so far on this menu will appease to any palate. I forgot to mention that when we returned on Friday there was a DJ playing music at the perfect sound level leaving it comfortable for you to engage in conversation and the DJ was amazing. Song selections were the perfect compliment to the restaurant. This is my new go to sushi spot, hang out, bar, vibe night, birthday party celebration …

NARA recently opened and it's such a beautiful space! They have a large indoor and outdoor dining area. The inside is definitely giving lounge vibes. We tried some of the sushi as well as the hibachi plate and a few side vegetables. The edamame and the shishito peppers were amazing. They were served with flaming salt! I loved the Nara 101 roll! The nigiri was good as well. The Tokyo Tour cocktail was my favorite. The service was really good as well! I'm so glad NARA opened and can't wait to come back!

A cute spot located on the intercoastal causeway. My sis and I stopped in for an early dinner on a Wednesday evening. Please note they are participating in Miami Spice. However, we ordered off the main menu. We shared the popcorn shrimp, rainbow, and red dragon rolls. For our entrees, I had the Red Snapper and she had the Wagyu Skirt Steak that comes with a side of steamed rice. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. I had a strawberry lemonade and my sister went with the Flaming Mojito. Intimate ambiance. I would highly recommend this place for a date night or girl's night out.

Wow, what an experience. To finish our anniversary with some great food we decided to check out this place. And it was worth every bite. For appetizers, we had the char-grilled octopus We love grilled octopus but the char-grilled version just gave this dish an extra smoky flavor. Enjoyed every bite. We also had the spicy tuna crunch on a crispy rice cake. The crispy rice added a crunch and crispiness to this amazing and fresh-tasting dish. For our entree, my husband picked the short ribs with mashed potato and I had the fried noodles with vegetables which had the perfect balance between savory, sweet, and tangy flavor. Matter of fact the dish was so delicious, that my husband could not keep his fork out of my bowl. For dessert, we had the fried donuts. Freshest fried donuts we ever tasted. Thank you to the great staff that acknowledged our anniversary with a complimentary glass of prosecco and the sparkler celebration candle A huge compliment to the chef ‍ . We will be back.

My husband and I went to this beautiful and elegant place few days after getting married. Carlos, the manager, was extremely attentive and accommodating, he suggested a great selection of drinks, food, and the dessert table which was made beautifully special by Christian to celebrate our new marriage. the food in this place is amazing and the personnel is above amazing! Highly recommend!

Beautiful location at Nara Miami! Incredible food, welcoming atmosphere, live entertainment and a huge selection behind the bar. The desserts are just fantastic. If you're a sushi lover and a lover of a show with your food, this is the spot to be at! The sushi was fresh and delicious. The meat platter and chicken sticks were AMAZING!! So much flavor and the cooked chicken was just falling off the bone with every bite! The sushi rolls were fantastic and with slight variation to classics like the Shrimp Tempura, it really brings out the flavor palette. The desserts were just phenomenal! The red velvet cake was SUPER smooth and silky with every bite. The fried cheesecake would give fried Oreos a run for their money! The lava cake was warm and soft and with a scoop of ice cream was the perfect combination to end the night with! The bartender is great and made me different drinks from Negroni's to Mojito's and some house specialties which were all fantastic and tasted great. Overall the atmosphere and food at this place is second to none. Come during the weekend and get some entertainment or Thursday nights they have live performers! Such a blast! Thank to the staff and owners who treat you like family. Can't wait to be back again!

Chic, elegant and most important....delicious. Every year my girlfriend and I look forward to Miami Spice. After doing research into restaurants we decided we wanted to try Nara. My girlfriend and I chose: Appetizer: Roasted cauliflower which were scrumptious. Rock shrimp which were tasty and almost had me place another order for them. Main course: 18oz bone ribeye. ($15 supplement fee) Whole snapper ($15 supplement fee) The presentation for both dishes was top tier. I haven't seen presentation this grand short of the time I visited Papi Steak. The ribeye was tender and excellently seasoned. The steak left you wanting for more except you didn't have to, it was 18 oz which left me with more than enough for leftovers. The snapper was mouth watering and delectable. Dessert: Thai donuts and Lava Cake The Thai Donuts melted in your mouth and were airy and sweet. The Lava cake was sultry with a warm center of chocolate delight. Run, don't walk to Nara. Will definitely be going back even after Miami Spice ends.

Lovely new place with good food and fun decor... Not like the places that look beautiful, but have bad food. The sushi was so good and the Raman soup as well. Also had lotus root appetizer and shishito peppers- delicious. The server was Emily and she was fantastic & kind.

Hidden Gem in Aventura! Excellent and inventive cuisine, flavorful and tantalizing. Service is efficient, attentive, staff genuinely excited to serve and takes great care of you. We also met the manager (Bhushan) who was jovial and utterly delightful. Exciting ambiance and interior. Great find, definitely give it a try!

Gotta agree with other reviews. Definitely a very good experience. Three consistent 5 star visits. They have a happy hour until 7pm, and many options on that menu are tasty and good value. Vibe is nice, makes you forget that are in a strip mall restaurant. Well staffed, so you don't have one waiter running around serving every table. Bartender is a pro. She makes good drinks and seems to enjoy what she does We loved octopus, spicy edamame, lamb chops, and just about anything we tried. Sushi is good, but being a sushi snob, it wasn't my favorite. Good place to go with friends, nice ambiance and food that is great for sharing. I found that they are not very busy, surprisingly the restaurant is often half empty. Definitely recommend. I hope they don't start cutting corners and stay true to what they've been doing thus far.

Had the best experience here. First, the team there is phenomenal, upon arrival we felt like family. Our server was so sweet the managers made us fell so welcomed. They have a great dj on Friday nights, who is awesome. The food was insanely delicious. I would highly recommend the Thai short ribs and the Nara 101 roll. But everything was delicious. Would def recommend to anyone in the area and even if not in the area it's totally worth the drive lol.

My boyfriend and I had plans to dine at a restaurant nearby and when we arrived we were told it was fully booked for the night. While driving around to find somewhere else we came across Nara. The place was a bit empty but there were a few people sitting outside smoking hookah and a dj playing inside. We decided to check it out. The ambiance was amazing, definitely a place that can easily turn into a nightclub after dinner although it was a bit dead on this particular night Our server was Morgan told us they had opened not too long ago and were still marketing themselves. She came over and explained to us the menu and gave us lots of recommendations. We decided on sharing a bottle of sake and ordered a few different appetizers. We had the calamari, wagyu gyoza, nara 101 roll, Las Vegas roll, and the wagyu sliders. The plates come out as they are made which I loved since I was so hungry. The calamari and the Las Vegas roll were a little too fried for my liking. We ended up only eating half of this roll because it was a bit much. The Nara 101 roll though was out of this world. I'd be back for this alone. My boyfriend who isn't a fan of raw sushi loved it as well. I would definitely give Nara another try, though not everything was an absolute hit for us, the ambiance and service made up for it tremendously. Our server was sweet and checked up on us often.

The atmosphere here is amazing! We went as a group of 8 and they accommodated us quickly. We enjoyed the live music on a Thursday night. The music got us all to get up and start dancing. Everything was very fresh and service was quick. Our server was great! Very sweet and knew all her stuff. The food was amazing!! We got one of every appetizer and they were all so amazing! My favorite roll was the Nara 101! Absolutely a must! The sea bass was incredible! They had this truffle pasta with mushrooms and that was amazing!! Both were a must! They have a great drink menu and a beautiful bar area to sit at. They definitely can make a great spicy margarita. See pictures for more details. Can't wait to come back.

Came across this hidden gem for happy hour .. great prices ! For Drinks and nice size happy hour plates ! Brian was my waiter the 1st time and 2nd time .. awesome guy and very attentive ! Definitely recommend this place if you work close by and want to step out The office for a bite to eat .. kid friendly

Sometimes all the stars align in front of you and you get great service, fun ambiance, and fabulous food. BRIAN our server was candid, amicable and very knowledgeable. The management was on top of all the elements to keep those stars aligned.

My wife and I recently decided to spend her birthday at Nara Sushi Lounge, and the atmosphere, ambiance, and service was well-beyond anything that we could have imagined! The managers and service staff were such a pleasure to be around; we instantly felt welcomed as if we were regulars. The amazing pictures that you see online don't do justice to the variety of plating designs and techniques for each food item. We tried the sushi, wagyu beef, sashimi, short rib, and gyoza. Each dish provided its own unique experience in presentation and taste! As a last note, the two managers on staff and the crew (including the live DJ) went above and beyond to make sure my Wife felt celebrated for her birthday. I'd recommend this place 10 times out of 10. It is rare to find a place where amazing service meets, beautiful delicious dishes, and very reasonable pricing!

What a beautiful place! Great service, fantastic food. Best sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. For appetizer try tuna guacamole it's delicious ! Highly recommended.

First time coming to Nara - we had been coming to yakko San for years. Menu changed and there was lots I would've ordered if we had a bigger group. All the fish was super fresh and the steak was surprisingly excellent. The service was so so - had to ask for several things multiple times. We decided to eat outside but the new remodeled inside looks very cool and trendy. Kanisu was my favorite thing we ordered and I'm definitely interested to try a few other items on the menu next time we come back.

What an incredible dining experience. This was my first time at NARA. From the moment we entered there was a live band setting an inviting atmosphere. We were immediately seated at an outdoor table with great ambiance. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. Bhushan, one of the owners of the restaurant came to personally greet the table and welcome us into the restaurant. The food was outstanding! The sashimi was fresh and the entrees were flavorful and delicious. The cocktails were well made and refreshing. Overall 10/10! We can't wait to come back.

Amazing ambiance, food, and service. The Manager/owner, Bhushan was excellent! He was extremely hospitable and provided excellent service. He was constantly touching the table to make sure we were doing well, filling up our water glasses, if necessary, and consistently making sure the table was clean. I would recommend asking for Bhushan when you visit to say hello and get an extra VIP experience as he makes you feel at comfortable and at home at all times. The food...delicious. We started with the popcorn shrimp, the Wagyu skirt steak tacos, Nara Miami Roll and Summer roll for apps; cooked to perfection and with great flavor!! A amazing start to the evening. For the main course, we had the whole Red snapper and the bone-in Ribeye. WOW!!! Perfectly cooked to proper temperature requested. I couldn't have asked for better recommendations from Bhushan. THIS IS A GEM!! Nara Miami! is worth a visit if you're in the area. Great prices and great service! Give it a shot, you wont regret it!

Did a birthday dinner at Nara Sushi. We got the best service! Our waiter was Bryan! The service ambience and food was just amazing. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for great food and fun experience.

Arrived at 4:00pm to everyone's surprise ....there was no one in the place and it looks like a night club. The food was basic at best with the best plate being the truffle fríes. Ordered a drink that never came (being the only table) so for now until the next visit 2 star is my opinion and would not recommend to anyone. (Stay away from crispy brócoli)

Looks fancy, food doesn't. The service was pretty great considering we went at 6:30 and it was empty. If you wanna go before the nightly celebration try at 6:30-7:30pm. The food wasn't amazing, the fact that they marketing Gyozas like crazy just to take it off the dang menu. Food is super expensive, paid over $100 for a few items. Drinks were meh, the ramen was not good at all just tasted like boiled chicken water. Sushi was basic as well.

We waited for food for 1 hr 30 min. Manager didn't do anything to make it right, they still dared to add a service charge and didn't make any discount. Never coming back ever. Majorly mismanaged place.

Made reservation via website for NYE. No word on website or Open Table page when I made it about special menu. Turns out they don't have sushi tonight. Place was dead -- literally only one other occupied table in the restaurant at 7:30 PM.

If only I could give a zero. This place is bad. Really bad. They brought the cold rolls - warm. Which were tasteless. They put "crab" as the one of the ingredients, while it is just kani?! What kind of fake advertisement is that? The plates were very pretty. But food was horrible. My vague stake was overcooked, cold, and hard. My jaw was hurting from chewing it. I could not finish the plate. Not only the food was lowest quality I ever had, but the service was also poor. We had to ask for basics, such as soy sauce? Silverware? There were 5 people in total at the restaurant, and 2-3 waitresses, while the wait time to get our check was 20 minutes. I can't believe this place has relatively high rating. Very disappointing experience.

Never had bad bad Veggie Tempura- those guys did it! Beer was flat. Steak listed on a manu- not available! Yakko san was there for years- every time the best, even at 1am in morning. How did the manage to take a perfect place and make so bad?! Talent? Yakko aan had a Whole book of item on a menu. Been going the for years- never heard- not available. Amatures, rookies! Never going back and would to recomend to my friends and enemies! Lol!

I got the Skirt Steak and it was amazing! It also comes with rice! I also tried the tuna tataki and and the crispy rice and it was very good aswell!

I was so pleased with the amount of selections, ambiance, music and the drinks were excellent. Our waiter Brian was very attentive and made us feel welcomed. We will definitely return and spread the word.

A great vibe and chic ambiance that makes you feel like you're in Miami! The octopus is incredible from taste to artistic plating, the Summer roll is a must - absolutely delicious and edamame (grilled or spicy) will not disappoint. The music gets more lively later evenings so it makes for a perfect spot to enjoy some nightlife and have a few cocktails. Oh, and definitely try the sake -- some of the best around!

Really nice experience, everything was excellent, bar tender plied us with two tequila shots each, great food, very high quality...as I was leaving my friend looked at the bill and saw the tip was included, 18%, I was going to leave $25 on a $140 check, that would have given the bartender over $50 from me...I find only 'pretend' restaurants have this policy, if their clientele are supposed to be sophisticated, as in Nara, then we shouldn't be told how much to tip...I DID LET THE MANAGER KNOW. I said, you should tell EVERY damn diner of your policy up front, after two proseccos each and the aforementioned shots I'm don't need to tooth comb my bloody bill, damn it! I'll go back because it is good and close by but be fore warned, this has Ocean Drive policy about tipping...hate been made a fool, DAMN! Can I just remind everyone the waitstaff that you enjoy (and often comment on at Yelp) at any restaurant are there because of your tips, not for any other reason, the good ones will go to other good restaurants if you don't tip and you will no longer enjoy the service, so it's incumbent on YOU to properly help the restaurant retain the good people...IF YOU CAN'T THEN ITS PROPERLY NOT A RESTAURANT YOU SHOULD BE DINING AT. Just a fact, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, if you can't tip at Nara go to a less expensive place where your budget does allow to tip...my experience described above is probably because of people like you, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

Great place. Came for miami spice. All was great. Had octopus for appetizer and lamb for dinner, awesome meal and the dessert was the lava cake just great. Atmosphere was great. Service very attentive. Definitely should be on your list to check out.
