Cute little place with really great coffee, including interesting signature drinks. Food is limited to pastries but they have some interesting choices - the everything bagel sweet/savoury pastry was worth trying. Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. Clean restroom in back. All good.

Coffee is very good quality and the flavors are delicious and not overpowering. Place is also very cool

The novelty of having a traditional Turkish coffee is worth the visit. Seeing the baristas make coffee in a heated sand tray is fun for a moment. The coffee was presented very nicely, the Evil Eye cup was rimmed with honey and sugar. The coffee itself, passable at best. I have made more flavorful cups of Turkish coffee at home on my stove with an Ibrik. Glad I went, but probably won't make another trek out to revisit. Not a lot of seating options, considering the neighborhood and location.

WOW! such a fabulous addition to studio city, I wish I lived closer so I can go daily. The coffee is delicious but the bakes goods are so tasty! Such unique flavors. The yala latte is a must, but the seasonal pistachio pumpkin spice was ammmazing and then the zatar danish was like something i never have tasted, so cute inside can’t wait to go back!

Neat lil spot, great coffee and the bar stools were so comfy. Other coffee spot’s seating is so uncomfortable often making it hard to stay and do work for a while. This place was cozy and everyone working was super nice!

Loved their yala latte and Zaatar pastry. Service is great as well. Good amount of seating for the size of the space.

Visited today for their grand opening, and throughly enjoyed my experience. Rosslyn was a great help in giving me recommendations on what I'd like best. Pumpkin pistachio oat latte is a must try. Loved the atmosphere as well as the pastries definitely going again.

The service was nice, the coffee personally wasn't for me but it's a really nice addition to Ventura blvd! Even better once the hype dies down. Ordered: Coffee Tonic - 3/5 This is definitely someone's order and as he said it's not for everyone but I was actually really excited to try something so different to me. It had great flavor honestly too. Ambiance: 4/5 I'm not the biggest fan of this whole minimalist coffee shop let's sit on cubes thing but I can appreciate they had a whole wall of chairs w a table! Parking: It's Ventura so only metered street

OMG. So glad this coffee place opened here in The Valley. Not only is it esthetic, it also has GREAT coffee. Got the LATTE, which is delicious. But you should order the Evil Eye. It's basically the Sand Coffee but with the cup rimmed with sugar. Delish! You get to watch as they make your coffee in the hot sand in front of you. Great vibe.

Really enjoyed my first visit to this small new coffee spot on Ventura. They've chosen minimalist decor and the whole place is a light sand color. I guess that's to go with the... Sand Coffee. Sand Coffee?!? They heat up sand which in turn heats the coffee. You get a very small, very hot, very strong cup of coffee with the grounds still in it but settled on the bottom. Such great flavor! I usually don't use sugar, milk, etc., preferring to taste just the coffee, so this hit the spot. They have all the usual coffee drinks as well. Good stuff!

The coffee was very strong and good. I don't drink setting coffee but this one was good to me. Small coffee sizes. The service was good. It tastes better than Starbucks for sure!

Finally stopped by to check out this spot in Studio City. It feels so relaxing and peaceful inside. The ambiance is simplistic and minimalist and clean. Even though it's small they did a nice job on creating plenty of seating. I had to try their Yala latte with regular milk since it was my first time here. It only comes iced and the Sand Coffee comes only hot. The latte was good however they ran out of straws and stirrers so I couldn't mix it and at the end it had this interesting aftertaste not sure if that's what it's supposed to taste like lol. Overall I liked how not so sweet it was and the cinnamon was just right. Their lattes come in one size. Parking might be a struggle sometimes especially in the weekends since it's street parking on Ventura but I didn't have a hard time finding parking on a weekday.

I've had Yala Coffee on my list for a few months now and it did not disappoint! I got the Yala latte, the spinach feta pastry, and the everything but the zaatar cheese danish. The coffee itself was SO delicious! It comes with a cardamom cream top which I felt like lacked in cardamom flavor but the coffee itself was so good that I didn't mind. Both pastries were delicious and would recommend. There is a decent amount of street parking (a good number of metered spots right in front of the cafe) and there are also outlets if you wanted to work here. I'm looking forward to coming back!

While in the area my husband and I stopped by to get coffee. It's a new coffee shop on Ventura in Studio City. Customer service was ok but as a new cafe they should be more friendlier and happier to see customers walking in. I ordered the Yala latte iced. It was delicious. First I thought it will be sweet but the barista assured me it's not, he said they don't make their drinks too sweet usually. My husband got a hot americano and said it was good. They serve unique seasonal drinks and Mediterranean style coffee over hot sand. The coffee shop is small, has limited seating and not comfortable at all. Parking is also hard to find.

I've been hearing about this new coffee shop, so my husband and so decided to try it. First off, it's located on Ventura Blvd, so parking may be hard to find depending on the time you go. The inside is modern and minimalistic. Honestly, they should had a few more table because seating is very limited. The staff was friendly and eager to answer any questions we had. They have specialty drinks as well as traditional lates and coffee. They also have a traditional middle eastern/ Mediterranean type of ground coffee. I got the "yalla" coffee with almond milk which was good and strong. It's not that sweet which was perfect! The lady at the front told me they make their drinks 50% less sweet compared with other places. My husband got a regular latte and said it was just ok. They also have pastries. We got the one with spinach and it was good! I would like to come back and try their other specialty drinks.

We're just being blessed with coffee shops in the valley and I'm here for it! New coffee shop in Studio city past laurel cyn and Ventura, neighboring heavy handed burgers new location is where you can find this amazing new place I just discovered. Yala coffee, the aesthetics are there, the vibe is inviting and their concept even more. Bringing middle eastern coffee with a twist, I'm in love. Staff was friendly and attentive, I asked how long they had been opened and they're about a week in and they're doing amazing. I ordered an ice latte with whole milk and the flavor was amazing, you know when you're getting quality coffee unlike recently, some coffee shops give you more milk with coffee instead of coffee with milk.... Iykyk The star of the show for me though was the evil eye drink which it seems to be with their signature coffee (espresso like) and they had their housemade cardamom cream and some type of sugared rim with coffee grounds. I absolutely loved it and will be back to try their other items on the menu. Parking can be a bit tricky as it is located on Ventura so you know parking there is always difficult. Unless you get lucky and find meter parking but just be aware. Overall, I'm happy to have come across Yala and will be becoming more often!

Such a great addition to Studio City! Love how this shop brings in middle eastern coffee brewing techniques! While I didn't order a coffee that is made with that technique I definitely will! They offer hot and cold beverages made with this technique! We ordered the yala latte which seemed to be their staple latte. Excellent. I had mine with oatmilk and it had a fresh coffee flavor and slight floral flavor with the cardamom cream! Definitely would get again! Their pastries were also delicious - not sure where they are from, but very flavorful! We tried the ham + cheese danish and everything bagel seasoning danish! Inside is super calming and airy! Excited to see them continue to grow! Really friendly and answered all of our questions!

Stopped into Yala today after the gym and what a great addition to Studio City! The owners greeted us promptly and were super great answering any questions about the menu we had. The cafe was very clean, modern, and would be a cool place to work from! The Yala latte was very good! The flavor of the espresso really shined, with a not too sweet brown sugar syrup, and the subtle notes of the cardamom foam. We also tried the ham and cheese pastry, as well as the everything bagel danish with za'atar. Both were extremely tasty. I just wish we had them heated! Overall, can't wait to visit again and try the rest of the menu!

Walked in on a Sunday morning around 9am and they were popping! It's very aesthetically pleasing and relaxing! Rosslyn was helping us decide what to get and was answering all of our questions about the different items! She was amazing! Great customer service all around everyone who was making the drinks too had smiles on their faces and were super friendly. I got an iced matcha and just look at that color wow! It had a great flavor profile and I loved the color!!!

This place is absolutely phenomenal! The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Coffee is unbelievable truly a one of a kind coffee shop. I highly recommend for anybody who wants a great family owned coffee shop.

Cute local coffee shop in Studio City. The seating is limited and there is only street parking so keep in mind it can get busy. All the staff are very kind and give their recommendations on which coffee to get. Great place!

This is a new place that opened about a month ago! They're coffees and vibe is so unique! They do turkish sand coffee which i would recommend trying. Their cardamom cream top latte (Yala Latte) is so delicious! Only thing i would point out is that the espresso wasn't too strong. It felt a little too watered down and the milk and cream top kind of take away the espresso taste. Overall everything was impressive and i love how unique this place is. Will come back again!

I was really excited to try this place out and am always hyped when a new coffee shop opens up in the valley! First off, the vibes in there were 10/10. It's a bit on the smaller side inside but if you can snag a table it's definitely a great place to sit and work for a few hours. The coffee was nice and strong (just how I like it) and the flavors were so delicious and ones I've never tasted before in a latte! The cream on top of the drink was SO good too! Definitely recommend trying this place out! 10/10

Wonderful addition to Studio City. I've only been once but I live around the corner so I'm sure I'll update when I try more later. I got the yala iced coffee since it's been so hot out lately. Was nice and strong just like I like it! Not pictured because I already ate it all was the ham and cheese pastry, it was soooo good. I'll def be back even for just the pastry. Service was great, super welcoming staff.

One morning my coffee pot had a crack in it. I discovered this the hard way lol so I figured it was time to try Yala Coffee. It was new, it looked cool from the outside and I live 600ft away. I ordered an americano and left. I walked back home to get my dog for a walk and took a sip. It. Was. Amazing. I was dumfounded because it was such a simple order and it tasted so good. So I walked back with my dog and told them how good it was! I asked, what made it so good? The barista said "magic beans" lol. Magic indeed. The next morning I brought a friend and bought her an americano. She agreed. Amazing!

I was able to pop in a week ago, and yes the vibes and hype is worth! I saw their beautiful evil eye coffee on social media, but since it was hot decided to get the yala latte. Perfectly spiced and not too sweet! Super cute and minimalist interior. I'm not in the area a ton, but if I am I'd stop by again!

Great coffee, smooth and not too sweet. I had the seasonal pumpkin coffee, which was smooth, subtle and very rich in cinnamon. The other drink is the yala latte, also very delicious. Came on a Sunday, so it was a little on the busier side, but the energy is great and got to see a lot of cute dogs from other customers. I will say they play music kind of really loud here but workers are kind and courteous. Def coming back.

Was excited to try this new Coffee Shop since it's close to home and although I'm more of a matcha regular but I do I enjoy a coffee from time to time as I used to drink coffee regularly. I was disappointed in the matcha. Not only was it watered down but it didn't have any matcha flavor it tasted like watered down almond milk with no sweetness although I added brown sugar sweetener. I did read they tend to sweeten lightly which would have been fine if my matcha tasted like matcha. I would have liked to return for the coffee but don't want to risk disappointment as I have already read a few reviews on their "just ok" coffee.

the cardamom cream top was a standout, the drink itself wasn't super sweet but also not bitter, it was the perfect sweetness for me. there's a good amount of seating and metered street parking. there's outlets too so this makes for a great study spot. would love to come back and try their matcha

Went in hopes of having a new local favorite coffee shop, it's a nice shop. Tried the signature "evil eye" cream top and it was just watered down coffee, with a watered down cream topping,.not to mention that the coffee was so hot I couldn't even drink it. The cortado was the same, extremely hot to the point where it was burning my hand while holding it in the To-go cup...the espresso tasted dark and burnt with no texture whatsoever from the milk, it tasted more like a burnt hot cup of coffee. I was hoping the coffee would be so much better from here, probably will not return.

My new favorite spot :') I finally found a coffee shop who knows HOW TO MAKE A LATTE! First of all, the shop is so beautiful, super welcoming. The menu is not overpowering, they also had delicious looking pastries! Ordered the Yala Latte, literally made to perfection! Not too sweet, yet not too bitter, it was the perfect balance! Staff is super nice and friendly, establishment was very clean. Can't wait to be back!

My coworker recommended this places because I'm always looking for coffee spots that are nice spaces to study as well. She also said it was a new small business so I had to give it a try. I almost don't want to post this because this place is so cute!! I ordered an "Evil Eye" and the coffee itself was strong and delicious. I also recommend the danish. Then again, I do want to gate keep this place because it's a hidden gem to me:) But please, if you're in studio city give it a try! Nice place full of good people, good coffee, and good food.

Interior design is beautiful. Really clean and sleek. However, the coffee, the two times I have tried, have let me down sadly. I've worked at a coffee shop so I know when someone can't properly steam milk. I ordered the Pumpkin Pistachio Oat Latte(hot) and the milk was curdled. It was undrinkable... Gave it a second try and ordered the Evil Eye, my tongue was burntttttt. Hopefully they put in the time to train these baristas. As this is a great location and the middle eastern take has so much potential!

Love this new coffee shop! The employees are nice and the orange blossom oat latte is so good and I love that it's an orange blossom water rather than syrup. My friend got the iced matcha latte with light agave and it was also really good I loved how dark it was. The place is small but still cute. Definitely worth checking out.

Visited today after seeing a video on social media of their matcha! The valley is majorly lacking in good matcha options, and can proudly say their matcha was delicious. Very fresh and rich in flavor! I got it with oatmilk & vanilla. Their vanilla is vanilla bean and really shines through perfectly - they don't overly sweeten for drinks and I love that! Will 100% be back and excited to try the coffee and pastries!

Overhyped. Not the best customer service. Wanted to love it but just wasn't a huge fan. Gave it a few tries but just wasn't as great as I hoped.

Yala Coffee shop in Studio City!!! Best coffee shop on Ventura Blvd. The owners are the sweetest, so welcoming and warm. Their coffee and pastries are amazing. It's a beautiful space and so clean. Go check out!!!! Yala!

Such a great addition to the neighborhood!! The owners are so sweet and passionate about making each coffee to perfection. The vibe inside is super cool and chic, unlike anything else in the valley. The flavors are unique and delicious, I highly recommend the yala latte and the orange blossom oat latte! Also there are ample outlets if you want to sit and work, which is always a great sign that the owners really care about the customer experience.

The aesthetics are on point if that's what you're looking for! The owners are so sweet and I love having a neighborhood coffee shop. But the latte is too milky. I think they're only putting one shot of coffee in it. Owners if you're reading this please put two shots in your standard latte. Or if you already are, consider a smaller sized cup so it's not all milk. Try Coffee Fix, Stereoscope or Maru for inspiration on what a latte should be like. I won't be coming here unless they change that, unfortunately.

Best coffee shop on Ventura. So clean, so spacious, calm, and perfect place to get work done. The owners are the most incredible people! They're so inviting and accommodating. The savory pastries are to die for and every drink is an experience.

10/10. The Yalla Latte is especially good! I prefer it with low sweetener and oat milk. I love the valley for the vast amount of quality coffee shops and this one doesn't disappoint. The owners are very friendly and approachable. Good coffee + awesome atmosphere!This is my new stop before work!
