Yearling Pizza

Yearling has some of the best pizza in Lex. We have had different pies during our three visits and all have been outstanding — perfect crust, balanced sauce, and fresh toppings. Blue Stallion’s beers are always wonderful and their seasonal releases are a nice complement to Yearling’s pies.

This is the best pizza I've ever had in Lexington, and I wish it was there when I lived in Lex ten years ago. The crust has perfect crunch and chew - the kind you typically only find at places that really ferment and care for the dough carefully. The topping are simple but harmonious. The extra cheese garnish is salty, but the basil and sauce are floral and tangy enough to balance it out. The fact that they're making pizzas this great in what looks like a 6'x4' kitchen without wood or coal fire is unbelievable. This is awesome, rich, satisfying pizza, and everyone in Lexington should try it.

I think that Yearling Pizza is the best pizza in town! This two-man operation works out of a tiny kitchen inside of Blue Stallion and yet turns out delicious pizza with high quality ingredients and a sturdy crust. You can get a whole pie or two large slices for $6-7.

This was our second visit to Yearling’s. Service was outstanding, as well as the pizza. Our family really appreciates the use of real, fresh ingredients. It’s makes such a difference! Yearling’s is a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for good pizza!

The pizza was way too salty. It looks better than it tastes. Nothing really stood out from it. The website also needs to be updated, some of the pictures posted from reviews are no longer offered at this location. They also said they sell 16 inch instead of 12 now.

I travel a lot for work and have been all over the country, including NYC. So naturally I have eaten a lot of pizza! Ha :D I had the pepperoni and it so far has been one of the best pizzas I’ve had. Whoever is making these knows what they are doing and the love making pizzas. Highly recommend.

One of the best pizzas in Lex, perfectly cooked and good crust. Top 3 and you get great beer. Would have been a 5 but there is no such thing.

Super yummy pizza! I've heard the meatballs and other options are just as delicious, so I'll have to head back and check them out. Love that this is a food option available in Blue Stallion, it gets a little frustrating if you're starving and there's not a lot around to eat. Super convenient to place your order at the bar, they bring it out to your table, and it's pretty quick!

Pizza and pretzel breadsticks with pimento cheese are delicious. Thin sliced pizza with rich non-acidic sauce and hearty toppings. Yearling is becoming my "go to" pizza.

I believe this was the best pizza I have had in Lexington (for sure) and one of THE best I have EVER had. I had the cheese pizza and it was done so simply and perfectly that I am planning on trying the Yearling pie next time but will be getting the cheese pizza for dessert. The staff that I interacted with were all super friendly and I liked the atmosphere.

Finally tried some new menu items. Holy cow, the roast beef sandwich is amazing! I also ordered the meatloaf but it was devoured before pictures could be taken. Cannot wait to try more. This place is quickly becoming my favorite
