Counter-service Vietnamese eatery featuring specialty banh mi sandwiches & a basic pho menu.
"Want the best bánh mì in town? Easy. Go to Yeh Yeh’s in Lynnwood. While we’d jump over a series of fences Hot Fuzz-style for their grilled pork sandwich (where charred meat bits and salty marinade melt into the mayo-soaked bread) or the tender braised pork with pate, you also shouldn’t miss the flash-fried tofu bánh mì that’s topped with a sweet and creamy dressing, crisp lettuce, and cracked black pepper. Really, you’re in good shape with any rubber-banded-baguette they place in your hands here." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley
"Grilled Pork Banh Mi “This summer, I’ve been on a bit of a banh mi kick, which has turned into a months-long pursuit of the best one in Seattle. And I’m happy to report that the grilled pork banh mi from Yeh Yeh’s is a top contender. Their house-baked baguette is stuffed with a generous helping of tender marinated pork, pickled daikon and carrots, jalapeño, cucumber, and mayo—plus, it’ll only run you $5.95. If you can make it to Lynnwood, this is a sandwich that’s absolutely worth the trip.” - Julia Chen, Editorial Assistant" - julia chen 1, carlo mantuano, aimee rizzo
"The trickiest part of visiting this unassuming Lynnwood favorite might be navigating the parking lot during peak business hours. The hassle is well worth it, though, for the variety of banh mi that includes grilled meats (pork, chicken, and beef), tofu, ham, BBQ pork (or ham with BBQ pork), and what looks like a Northeastern U.S.–inspired section of the menu — brisket, pastrami, and Philly cheesesteak." - Jay Friedman, Eater Staff
"We’d jump over a series of fences Hot Fuzz-style for Yeh Yeh’s grilled pork sandwich that has perfectly charred bits, or the tender braised pork version with pate. But at this small Lynwood counter spot you shouldn’t miss the flash-fried tofu bánh mì, otherwise known as the best vegetarian bánh mì in the city. It's topped with a sweet and creamy dressing, crisp lettuce, and cracked black pepper. Really, you’re in good shape with any rubber-banded-baguette they place in your hands here—and while you’re at it, grab a stiff Vietnamese iced coffee or a side of vegetable spring rolls, too." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo
"During my entire two years at Microsoft (OK, I was an orange badge), I always watched my coworkers eat bánh mì from Yeh Yeh’s while I snacked on Quaker rice cakes with almond butter. Fast forward to 2020. While on a quest to locate the best bánh mì in town, it was finally time to try Yeh-Yeh’s once and for all. Much like a mother can’t choose a favorite among triplets, I can’t choose a favorite among the grilled marinated pork with charred bits, braised red pork with savory patè, or flash-fried tofu with sweet dressing and a kick of black pepper. My partner and I just sat there in his Honda Accord, polishing each mayo-slathered baguette one by one, passing them back and forth like bong hits with widened eyes and enough “wow”s to fill an Owen Wilson compilation video. -Aimee Rizzo, Staff Writer" - carlo mantuano, aimee rizzo
