The pulled pork nachos were really good! Highly recommended. We took a detour from Orlando just to check it out and we were very impressed with the food. It was recommended to us by a friend who knew we’d be visiting the area. It was super busy for a Friday afternoon. We took that as a good sign! They serve Pepsi products, for those who look for Coke. They offer free refills via the Fountain. Lots of dogs with customers (I think we saw a total of 5). Parking isn’t easy but they do have a few handicapped spots in back. They had lots of great options on the menu including ribs. This place has really good ambience, but most of the seating is without air-conditioning. They do have fans, but it was super hot. The seating is covered but we were sweating buckets. However, I’d still go back for those amazing nachos!! It was worth the drive from the Rosen Centre in downtown Orlando.

I was really excited to visit because of the fun decor and the fact that the restaurant is pet-friendly which I love! The food was okay. The pulled pork had a good flavor, but there was too much sauce, and it didn’t quite look like the pictures we had seen online. On the bright side, we really enjoyed the variety of beers they were excellent! The service was also friendly and welcoming, which made the experience better overall.

If you like BBQ, this place has an awesome twist on it? Most of the sandwiches are pork, but there are tons of variations. The sweets are always on point as well. You can easily share them! If it's your first time, order several things and share them, although the sandwiches can be pretty thick. I hit this place every time I'm in Winter Park! We live an hour+ away.

This is a very interesting little place in Windermere. I wasn’t really sure what to expect as I pulled up. It appears to be a very old building that looks like an old post office or inn. I wasn’t reminded of Wild West for some reason. You park around back and walk into the back of the building. It’s covered in fun decor including the two Volkswagen buses. One appears to have been used as a mobile beer dispenser or something. It’s fun to see. You order at the counter and they give you a pager just like many places but even your drinks from the bar you order at the front counter. They give you a token to take to the bar to order the drink of your choice. It’s actually quite smart. The food pictured is the roast Malone, the holy crap, and the pork nachos. Oh man these are all GREAT options. The roast Malone had pimento cheese on it and it was really loaded with meat. This is how a sandwich is supposed to be made. Absolutely delicious. The holy crap was exactly that… holy crap is it good. The bread melts in your mouth but never falls apart. They do not short you on ingredients. The nachos were loaded to hills. The entire table of four was enjoying that after our sandwiches were gone because there was so much on the plate. The craft beers on tap were excellent and the service was top notch. I’ve wanted to try this place for four years now and I finally got to try it and I’m happy to say that I can’t wait to return. I loved it. Check it out.

Great ambiance to grab a quick bite and spend time with friends. There are some cute romantic corners. The decoration is nice, the service is fast and the food was very good. I will definitely go back.

Google
I enjoyed it. Nice and friendly staff. Would need to reassess for a 5. The Pugnacious Pug is good and the coleslaw is good, but nothing exceptional. I would certainly come again and I enjoyed my experience and rate it a solid 4.5/5

Google
Cutest building, friendliest staff, easy going restaurant. Allows dogs!!! Inside bar and eating area + and outside bat and eating area. So chill and fun. Food is impeccable. Thanks for an easy pit stop choice for us and our pup!! Pulled pork nachos - huge and filling Roast Beef Sandwich - our favorite!! freshest bread, creamiest touch, most tender roast beef. damn, you're one of a kind.

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this spot for lunch or dinner! Everything was fantastic—from the exceptional customer service to the thoughtful recommendations and, of course, the delicious food. Just a heads-up: it’s a casual setup where you place your order first, take a seat, and then pick up your food when your buzzer goes off. we ordered the elvis and so much more as the nachos is a must! dog friendly too!!

Yelp
We came here at lunch time on a whim on a Sunday. We did a little yelp search to find a cute spot around our vacation spot to have lunch and we found this place and it exceeded our expectations times a thousand. Cute, artsy ambience, AMAZING food and beer selections. Most of all, the staff was incredible. They were very knowledgeable on the menu, and very attentive with us. At the end we were met by what we believe was the owner and he offered us a free dessert to try just because it was our first time. It was the almond joy brownie and he was right, we did need to try it. 10/10. I had the curry chicken salad and I'm very picky but this was also a 10/10 I loved it. My wife had the kitty Kat tuna salad sandwich and she enjoyed it but she prefers it toasted so she gave it a 7/10. Still would like to try the other sandwiches. Beautiful place, we deff recommend

Yelp
Here's a review you can use for Yelp: I had such a fantastic experience at Yellow Dog! I tried the Classic Yellow Dog Club and the Yellow Dog Pilsner, and both were absolutely delicious. The sandwich was perfectly made with fresh, flavorful ingredients, and the Pilsner was crisp and refreshing, a perfect pairing! The service was just as great as the food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel so welcome throughout my visit. The atmosphere really tied everything together! It was warm, relaxed, and a great place to sit back and enjoy good food and drinks. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great meal, excellent drinks, and top notch service. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

Yelp
Yellow Dog Eats is the bomb. What a cool place. The atmosphere is fun and whimsical with lots of creative throw-back art and memorabilia. The food was amazing. This was the most creative menu I have seen in a long time. I ordered the vegan tacos, so tasty and a large portion. My friend ordered the "Tickle my pickle" sandwich and he has not stopped raving about it. The owner, "Fish", is a cool guy and he established this restaurant 26 years ago. He makes a large variety of bottled condiments that you can purchase ($7.95). I bought a jar of his homemade chow-chow relish (yum). You order at the counter and take a seat until they activate your receiver. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I hope you love this place as much as we did. I will definitely go back the next time I visit central Florida.

Yelp
Finally went for lunch here after my sister in law (she has her own off menu wrap called the Jenny wrap) has been telling me for months that I need to meet her there. I should have listened and gone sooner. Really cool place with a nice vibe/atmosphere and fantastic food. We sat at the bar area and got great service (and not just because everyone there knows Jenny). I ordered the Johnny Rocket sandwich, which is noted on the menu as being "sweet and savory bliss" and that summary is better than anything I could write. I absolutely loved that sandwich, but I hope when I go back I will order something else (like the Roast Malone) instead of staying with my first love. I also had a side of oven roasted potatoes, which were very tasty, cooked perfectly and well seasoned. There's truly something for everyone, and if you're a vegan, ask for the Jenny wrap with tortilla chips. :)

Yelp
This is a magical spot with delicious food hidden in the small Gotha neighborhood. We've been a few times and the sammys are always fresh and delicious. Far from fancy, this is a casual, comfortable, family friendly place where you order at the counter and wait for your buzzer to go off and pick up your food at the counter. Quirky but clean, friendly staff, great food and beer selection... what more could you want?
google avatar

Yelp
I've been coming here for over 10 years and the quality is so solid! I have a hard time changing my order because the pulled pork nachos are just so dang good. The pickled onions and jalapeños are such a delightful touch. Now the restaurant itself is worth visiting for its history and the fun and quirky way it's decorated--there are pictures of dogs all over the interior and people sign their names on all the visible surfaces. There is plenty of seating downstairs, upstairs, and the back patio. The building used to be a general store back in the day. The owner has added significant additional parking over time, so parking is never an issue! Last but not least, Fish, the owner, is a super cool and friendly guy who always mingles with customers when he's around!

Yelp
The atmosphere is awesome. Outside seating is all covered with fans and heaters for the few Florida cooler days. The food is fantastic! If you can get over there to try the January specials you must! We had the Italian job and tickle my pickle. I would be here every week if they added the Italian job to the regular menu it was so good! Both sandwiches were full of flavor.

Yelp
The food is amazing and to many options to try in one seating bring your friends and family to get a sample of it all.

Yelp
This is not on the beaten path but worth the trek. This is a mixture of true Florida eclectic taste with a side of good barbecue. The restaurant looks tiny roadside but pull in to the back and they have ample parking. Walk in and follow the path inside. You'll find menus with lots of goodies.: Tacos, sandwiches, quesadillas and salads to name a few. You order at the counter when you're ready. The service is fast and friendly. Don't be afraid to ask them for recommendations. I ordered the blue suede shoes and some chips and queso. The food was out quickly and tastes absolutely amazing. This is well worth coming to if you are anywhere in the orlando area. I will definitely be back... multiple times

Yelp
I love this place. I took some volunteers here after an event to try them out. This is a really cool looking place with an eclectic vibe. We were so indecisive about what we wanted but, the staff was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. I normally get a sandwich but, I was talked into getting the ribs. I really appreciate how tender they were. Everyone loved their food and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Super cute - trendy local spot. We visited about a month ago. Unfortunately, I cannot recall what we ate but it was all good including a cake that we ate at the table but had to get another piece to take home! You order at the register when you walk in and then get a table. A server brings your food. This place is in an old home - it's definitely a makeshift atmosphere but you won't mind because it's so adorable. I'm an absolute dog/animal lover but dogs melt my heart. This place is so cute and the dog theme is the cutest I've ever seen. Unfortunately for me, the menu is mostly a pork based. I don't eat pork so I doubt I will be back - only because there are not enough options for me but I do recommend anyone going - make sure to bring your pup!!
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
What a hidden gem. We wanted to try many more items. The bbq is top notch and so many homemade sides that you hate to choose. Portions a big. Even salad was a 2 day event! We will go out of our way to go back!

Yelp
Y'all, it has been too long since I've been to Yellow Dog Eats! We had some friends in town, so I brought them over and it was a HIT! I had The Dog's "Famous" Pulled Pork Sandwich with coleslaw and loved it! Typically I will get the tacos or nachos, but I'm glad I expanded my horizons! The meat was great and the sauce brought a perfect tang. The coleslaw was also really good and unique! It was a bit pepper-y and almost fruity. My friends were also fans of their meals-- the roasted potato sandwich was a sleeper hit for my Vegetarian friend! Service at Yellow Dog Eats is always great. Everyone who works there is so kind. The location mostly has outdoor seating, though it was still pretty bearable with the fans on a July day at noon. The decor is so unique, and there's a sink outside for handwashing which I appreciate!

Yelp
We came here on a random Saturday night and the place was pretty packed. It's quick service style food where you go up, order and they give you a buzzer when the food is done. They were out of roast beef and ahi tuna, so I went with pulled pork nachos. The nachos were a pretty big serving and loaded with meat. If I were to order again, I would leave the Thai chili sauce off. My husband ordered the What the Fig burger. It was really good, but the fig sauce was a little too sweet for his liking. The place is really cute. There are 2 bars, one inside & one outside on a patio that allows dogs. There are pictures that customers put up all over the walls of their own dogs.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the vibe of this place so much! Walked into the courtyard where you can sit or you can go to the inside where you order, then you can sit at the bar or go upstairs. The entire place, inside and outside, is decorated so cute and uniquely! The service is great and the people behind the counter were so helpful when we were trying to figure out what to order. Everything sounded so good. I ended up getting the "What the fig?" Sandwich because anything with fog is going to be delicious. It didn't disappoint. Soooo tasty!! This is a total win and I highly recommend!

Yelp
It had been over a year since we have been here and arriving on a Saturday definitely reminded us why we typically don't come on the weekends. It was incredibly busy and we were lucky to find a couple of seats at the bar. My husband got the Elvis plate and said that it was good. I got the holy crap sandwich. It was stacked with oven roasted turkey, avocado spread, pecan smoked bacon,, and lots of other delicious ingredients on multigrain bread. It was delicious and I absolutely love the fact that the sandwich wasn't so full of bread that you felt like you were getting gypped out of the actual meat on the sandwich. They also have a beer that is specific to them and it is a golden pilsner. It was incredibly light crisp and very refreshing. It is a collaboration with Ivanhoe Park Brewing.

Yelp
I had a great experience at yellow dog eats! Let's start with the food - the food was delicious! I ended up getting the seasonal pulled pork baked potato - it was really good but I found it rather pricey (it was $16). I had great customer service, but the team was a little short with my friend. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because most of the menu items felt a little *too* pricey and the inconsistent customer interactions I witnessed. The vibes were immaculate. I adored seeing chickens just running around the property. The decor is very eccentric and it kinda looks like when you just put up everything from your garage but I mean that in the best way possible because it absolutely works for them. It's fun to look around and see what you can even find in the decor because it's so random - from a water ski to a giant Dolly Parton picture to mistletoe haha Parking is in the back of the building and there's overflow parking across the street. If you're coming from the front of the building you'll have to walk to the back to enter - it doesn't matter which little road you take to the back entrance :)

Yelp
Ok, a friend of mine told me about this place, and said it was a place he loved visiting because the food is always delicious and the whole place is essentially "a vibe", so naturally after moving to the area I had to check it out. My friend was right. This place is awesome. I stopped by last week for a solo meal. Staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions, the vibe was vibing, and the food was amazing. I ended up trying a special. I'd definitely come back.

Yelp
This place has such a cool atmosphere. There are different seating areas in side or outside under a cover. I would suggest going here simply for the ambiance. I enjoyed the food. The portions were large. My group also had a salad and several types of sandwiches, and everyone was happy with their food. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable.
google avatar

Bob D.

Yelp
No way not for me. But who am I to say. They are EXTREMELY successful. The plates of food looks like someone when through an all you can eat buffet and just pilled it on. I'm Italian so after 3 ingredients you loose my interest and my mouth cannot process 10 different flavors in the same sandwich or plate. I had the chicken wrap with blue cheese and a pint of buffalo sauce. Fortunately there was a container of napkins on the table as I needed at least a dozen to sop up all the sauce that leaked out. Ambiance is great. But there are lots of diners so prepare yourself to wait a bit.
google avatar

Megan V.

Yelp
Decided to stop by Yellow Dog Eats since I was in the area and I'm glad I did. The actual entrance is in the back of the building where you walk through eclectic patio dining area into the actual building where you place your order at the counter. Once you place your order they give you a buzzer to come back to the counter to pick up your order. We ordered the Pugnacious Pug sandwich and The Dogs Famous Pulled Pork sandwich. At first glance I didn't think it was enough food but surprisingly after eating we both ate we were satisfied. The Pugnacious Pug isn't your average roast beef sandwich it was packed with flavors and the garlic aioli was the best part. The pulled pork was juicy and the sauce it was cooked in was flavorful. I usually hate raisins but the coleslaw had raisins and crasians in it and it really elevated the taste and texture of the coleslaw. Can't wait to comeback and try some other menu items.
google avatar

Yelp
This place still has it! Been a few years since I've been here but the cool people and cool decor still rocks! The Hong Kong Phooey is gone but the Mr Smokey lives on! The gold BBQ sauce atop that high piled pulled pork is just fantastic - but topping it off with the pineapple is the chef's kiss. Still one of my favorites and a must get when here. If you've never been here, everything is good but don't sleep on the ribs. If you get here late in the day they'll probably be gone. Don't say we didn't warn you.
google avatar

Ben C.

Yelp
Great food, great service! Ordered the pulled pork with the honey mustard sauce. Fantastic flavor. We will be back again. Don't waste a trip going someplace to eat you will be disappointed with, eat at the Yellow Dog Eats and you will be one happy foodie!
google avatar

Yelp
It's been over 11 years since I first reviewed this place and I still stand by my first impression. I make a point to eat at Yellow Dog Eats anytime I'm in central Florida, and it's worth the drive. And oh my god, this is the best BBQ and seafood! YDE is in my top 5 favorite places to eat. The Poke Tacos are unmatched. The sauce is out of this world, chef's kiss. They have rotating beer from local spots and this is a great place to meet up with friends or enjoy a solo meal at the bar. The service is exceptional. I love this place with all my.. stomach. Worth the drive, your tastebuds will thank you.

Yelp
We decided to stop by for dinner the other night since we were in the area. It had been a few years since we've been and all I could remember was how good the pulled pork nachos were. I couldn't stop talking about them. Well, I decided to order that again and wish I had taken a picture. The pulled pork looked like a huge pile of mush on top of the nachos, and it wasn't even warm. You couldn't even taste the bbq flavor. The nachos consisted mostly of chips and black beans and only a drizzle of cheese and sour cream. I'm sorry to say that I enjoyed the onions and peppers the most. It was very disappointing. At least my husband liked his Pugnacious Pug roast beef sandwich and cole slaw, or so he said. I don't know if it was because we arrived there around 8pm and they close at 9pm, but that is no excuse to just throw a pile of food together and expect it to be enjoyable. At least we liked our seating area in the back next to the heaters since it was a cool night. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

Yelp
An easy 5 stars! Yellow Dog Eats was recommended to me 20+ times via TikTok in 2020. I drove the 50 minutes out to see it, and it was worth every second on the road. Let's be honest, Florida isn't really known for their BBQ. A lot of places are pretty meh compared to South Carolina or Texas. Yellow Dog Eats is an exception and is now my GO TO spot to eat BBQ. Take the drive, go out of the way. This place is worth it. They have indoor and outdoor seating, as well as second floor dining areas and a bar. They have merchandise and sell their sauces at a decent price. And their signature item, the Pulled Pork Sandwich, is amazing. The meals comes with a somewhat stsndard tasting bit of kettle cooked chips. I wish there was a few better side options with the main meal. But, that won't stop me from visiting. Because the meat is reason to visit. Tender, flavorful, soft, and smells amazing. I try to convince all my friends -- drive the distance. Yellow Dog Eats is worth it.

Paul P.

Yelp
I highly recommend YDE if you are looking for a really unique experience. The restaurant itself is pretty cool. Love the small bar area. The variety of tacos is awesome. We all got different kinds and shared. My favorite was the pork. Don't leave without getting some goods to go at the counter. Reasonably priced, nice people, good service makes this one worth the trip. Only negative was parking when it's busy.
google avatar

Yelp
Yellow dog eats is a must have when we visit Florida! It's always the same amazing food and service every year. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, always quick service! We have tried a lot of the items on the menu but my personal favorite is the Mr. Smokey, the pineapple on the pulled pole sandwich is such a nice touch! The dessert are also very delicious and shareable!
google avatar

Yelp
Eclectic atmosphere, wide range of menu options, and helpful service. We enjoyed the trivia night as an added bonus and all the dogs that came along.

Yelp
This place is super vibey! Love the atmosphere, you can definitely tell it's a local's spot but welcoming to all, kids included. It's an order at the counter and pick your table (indoor and outdoor seating, plus an upstairs). I typically eat vegan-vegetarian when options are limited and the veg menu looked great. I actually asked the server which vegetarian meal she would recommend and I got the sweet potato/black bean tacos. Holy cow they were amazing, so much that I'm Working on recreating them at home. Highly recommend! As well as the peanut butter brownie, yum! I wasn't sure which beer to get when ordering so you can also purchase a beer and they give you a token to pass on at the bar so you can sample, a nice touch to help keep the line moving. Music in the place was also great and massive outdoor fans so it didn't seem hot even while 90°+. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing! What a great place! Awesome vibe and yummy food! Great portions! The queso dip was amazing! Loved my turkey special sammie and coleslaw. Staff super helpful and friendly! New fav

Caleb S.

Yelp
I'm so sad that this was a one-night-stand for me. I was working in the area and I was like "Yeah, why not?" So I got the Mexican Mutt I believe, and that thang was rippin! Just off the rails as far as quality, flavor, and price. The young lady working the takeout window was a gem, and the inside looked really neat. I'd love to revisit next time I'm working in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been years since we went to Yellow Dog Eats. The vibe is so fun - outdoor covered seating with fans etc so not too crazy hot. The specialize in sandwiches and they are great. Loved the "Club Elvis" pulled pork with Gouda and crispy fried onions. The potato salad is delicious. They have a signature beer - I think it's called Yellow Dog Pilsner - anyway, you'll see it when you go there. It's great too.

Yelp
Great spot! Stopped by with my wife this Sunday after a fun day at the Disney parks. Very cool decor and seating area, nice welcoming staff, and the food came out so fast. Enjoyed reading some of the notes scribed into the wood out back that previous visitors had left behind. The only thing I will say, is that I wish my sandwich was a little bigger. I was very hungry to be fair, but as soon as I got a taste, I just didn't want it to end. Looking forward to returning here one day soon.

Yelp
We came over here for a late lunch on a weekday and easily found a table. The vibe is super chill and the service is quick and friendly. I tried the salmon salad and it was very tasty!

Yelp
So so good! Highly recommend. Great food and service. Atmosphere is welcoming and authentic.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! I haven't been in a while and I love the extended patio. I went out of my norm and got the Salmon BLT and the crinkly bacon was absolutely perfect. Tangerine wheat on tap! We did wait a bit BUT it was busy. Everyone was friendly.

Yelp
This place has been on my foodie list. My family took a detour on Mother's Day in order to give it a try. I believe it was the owner, Fish Morgan, who greeted us as we entered. The entire place is a perfect embodiment of his persona, I'd say. It's a very fun, hippie vibe. He really sold us on some of the specials. I had the "Little Miss Piggy" (Black Foerrest ham, bacon, smoked peaches, brie, red onions, watercress, and orange mayo pressed sandwich) my hubby got the Mahi Mahi Tacos. Both were very tasty. I also enjoyed the $6 Momosas. I ordered some BBQ to go, and I'm so glad I did. Next time, I'll definitely order that. Overall, it was a lovely place to celebrate. I would return sooner if I lived closer. The flavor combinations they create are some I don't commonly find, and they all sound so enticing. Hoping to return in the near future.

Yelp
Yellow Dog Eats is one of the hidden gems in Ocoee/Gotha area. It's in the middle of a neighborhood that makes it even more unique! The food is great, very kid-friendly and the ambiance is chill. What I ate: Hubby had the pulled pork salad. I had the Are you Chicken? Salad however, the Smokey's smoke salmon salad is by far my favorite from here. Why I love it: Aside from it being kid-friendly, the patio is a perfect place to hang out. The vibe is no pressure, chill, let's have a drink! kind of place. They have a variety of beer options. Food is priced and portioned good!
google avatar

Brianna S.

Yelp
I have never had a bad experience at Yellow Dog Eats. The service can get a little slow when it's busy, but there's usually live music happening, and the rest of the small town eatery ambiance is just nice to relax in. Yes, it can be pricey. However, I have never left the restaurant hungry (and usually with a to-go box.) They are also dog friendly outside, so that's a huge plus. All of their sandwiches are really good, and their pasta salads and tomato salads are equally as good.
google avatar

Danielle J.

Yelp
People are friendly, service is quick. I love the back patio and pet friendly vibes. They have milk bones for your mutts and will give you a water dish if you ask. The food always hits the spot and there are a plethora of options to choose from, with many pulled pork variations to suit your preference. The Mexican mutt was tasty as well as the Club. And although I didn't get a beverage this time, their craft beer options are vast!
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Great ribs and ambience as well as service. I did go once last year and they were out of ribs when they opened. I guess it happens they said the night before they ran out.

Allen M.

Yelp
We had the holy crap and Johnny rocket sandwiches. Very good. Friendly people and atmosphere. Very dog friendly!! Quirky little sandwich shop that goes above and beyond making you feel welcome. They even brought out a small piece of bacon for our Baxter. The original dog famous pulled pork sandwich is large enough to share and hope they don't change it. Decent prices and decent area for such a unique place. We'll be back!!!

Yelp
Yellow Dog Eats is fabulous! It's a bit out of the way for me but it's worth the trek. Good food, nice service.

Yelp
I LOVE YellowDog!!!! I have been visiting this location for years, and it never fails to be delicious. I always get the "Club Elvis" which is great. It comes with Chips or Coleslaw, I always opt for Chips, as I'm a bit of a picky eater. The chips are pre-packaged (I can't remember which brand) and you get what they give you (once I got plain, once I got bbq which isn't my fav but I ate them anyway!) Just a heads up for any other "picky" eaters, their Signature Fish's BBQ Sauce is very tangy! I didn't used to like it and would ask for my sandwich without, but the more I've tried it the more I enjoy it. It doesn't taste like traditional BBQ sauce which I like, because I don't enjoy the traditional BBQ taste. So theirs is very unique! Their menu is very large and they often have monthly specials as well that aren't on the menu, so watch their socials!! They also have delicious potato salad, and I don't even like potato salad!! The atmosphere here is just, to die for! So cute and, the vibes are immaculate! Plenty of seating, mostly outdoors, minimum indoor seating and an indoor bar, but plenty of fans outside to keep you cool. Some nights they even have live music! I highly recommend YellowDog!

Yelp
The best after work snack/meal we've had in a very long time! We love every visit to Yellow Dog Eats but this trip was special!! The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable and the decor just makes me smile! This beer is a must try. Wicked weed milk and cookies if you love dark beer, get it. We split the pulled pork nachos, and they were more than enough to fill our bellies. The mounds of pulled pork paired with the onions and jalapeños and delicious sauces are quite the combination! Definitely stop by and give this a try ! Five stars for sure

Yelp
This dog don't hunt. All the staff members are friendly and the decor is funky cool in a way, but the main courses we were served were atrocious. The house-specialty pulled pork was tough, dry and barely warm. I couldn't chew my way through even half of my half-rack of ribs. The chewy, chewy meat suffered the same maladies as the pulled pork with nary a trace of smoke flavor. The house-made slaw might have been tasty but the rubbery raisins ruined it for me. The bagged Miss Vickie's kettle-cooked chips were pretty good.

Yelp
My family has been customers of Yellow Dog Eats for decades! There is a picture still pinned to the wall inside of my mom, my dad, and my nephew. It's touching to see it, especially since my dad and nephew are no longer with us. Fish, the owner, has always been super friendly, welcoming, and down-to-Earth. His staff is also very kind, and the service is quick and efficient. As for the ambiance, it is casual with a cool hippie flair. The decor is fun, and they even allow customers to make their mark on the fence outside. This restaurant is naturally very dog-friendly, so you will always see cute pups around their outdoor patio dining area. Parking is pretty easy, as there are a couple of lots behind the building as well as in front, across the street. As an appetizer, we shared the "House-made queso with tricolor chips + flavor bomb #2: Queso, black beans, pico de gallo, fried onions, shoe string potatoes, Thai chili and scallions.0 My boyfriend and I loved it. The flavor bombs make it unique. For my mom's taste, it was a bit too thick. We all enjoyed the flavor though! Usually, I get some kind of BBQ pork sandwich, which is always so tasty. However, I went vegetarian on my last visit. For my entree, I got the "Sweet Potato Tico Tacos--Roasted seasoned sweet potatoes with corn salsa, black beans, chipotle mango aioli, honey balsamic arugucress, and tried onions on three flour tortilla served with tortilla chips and salsa." For my boyfriend's entree, he got the "Smokey Smoked Salmon Salad--Fresh salmon dry rubbed with Yellow Dog's special seasoning blend and smoked to pertection. served on a bed of held greens and garnished with cucumbers, grape tomatoes, carrots, sun dried fruit & nut blend, sprouts, red peppers, scallions and siced red onions." My boyfriend really enjoyed the dressing that came with it and ate every bite of the salad. For my mom's entree (not pictured), she got the "Johnny Rocket--Honey mesquite roasted turkey, accented with raspberry melba and layered with mild cherry pepper rings, vine-ripened tomato, smoked gouda, leaf lettuce and orange Cointreau mayo, served on our thick sliced multigrain bread. Sweet and savory bliss!" This is a classic favorite of hers. She took the other half home to my twin sister who couldn't join us that day due to work. We all love Yellow Dog Eats and will continue to be returning customers!
