"Sandai is a kaiseki restaurant helmed by Chef Moon Seung-ju, who appears to be steadily building his own niche in Seoul’s Japanese culinary scene. His approach to and interpretation of the kaiseki tradition are well-attested to in this space reminiscent of the Kansai region, as well as in his classic thematic dishes. The finishing touch of the exquisite course meal is a tea ceremony, featuring the likes of a unique and authentic house matcha. The name Sandai, which means “three generations” in Japanese, embodies Chef Moon’s desire to create a space frequented by multiple generations." - Michelin Inspector
If anyone wants to come here please make reservation!! We came at 6pm on a weekday and it was pretty packed. We were on walk in queue and we waited for more than an hour for our turn. The staff kept saying another ‘10 mins’ which wasn’t the case of course😅 Food was really good, ordered the set that jungkook eunwoo and mingyu ordered was arnd 50,000won. Really good food and service.

The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were so kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. It really made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They also give free drinks and more meat. Highly recommend!

Wow! I am so happy to try this black pork belly. It is so yummy. They also have so many side dishes and dipping sauce. And since i am solo, i have to order for 2 servings, plus i ordered rice and egg. The guy who served the food told me that the rice and egg is a gift. Thank you so much 🥰 He even cooked the meet and taught me how to eat the samgyupsal the "korean style". Thank you again. Next time I visit here, i will bring my friends. Thanks to 97 liners (JK, Mingyu, Eunwoo) I discovered this place..

✨ Last trip I wasn’t sure where to go, so I decided to follow the recommendation of the KPOP idols. And wow—what a pleasant surprise! The black Jeju pork samgyeopsal was unbelievably delicious 🖤. Here I am again today! definitely worth the visit!

the pork belly cuts were fresh and had a good balance of meat and fat. Once grilled, they were crispy on the edges and juicy inside — especially when dipped into the sesame oil with salt and paired with ssamjang. Absolutely addictive. It’s very good, highly

Staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. Visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was not crowded. Staff immediately showed us to the seats where Mingyu, JK and Eunwoo were seated at when they visited. The food is great and the atmosphere is also great.

Omygosh so good, I need to come again. The sam wraps and options to combine it was so fun to put together! Plus the tofu stew is one of the best I've ever had 😭 they also sat us down in 97 lines table which made the experience that much more memorable ✨️ come hungry because there's fried rice at the end if you get 97 line set ☺️
