The food here may be great, but we never made it that far. We ended up just leaving because of a combination of factors, not all of which were the restaurant's fault.
We were having dinner before an evening of symphony, so we wanted someplace nice. This wasn't it. Not the restaurant's fault; this place would be fine if you were out with friends for something casual and didn't mind a lot of noise, concrete floors, and an open kitchen. It's just not what we were looking for.
Then, after being seated, we were immediately put off when they wanted to charge for chips and salsa, and then they didn't have iced tea - maybe not a big deal for some, but a major issue for me when I don't want a cocktail.
Then my wife ordered a house margarita that was a bit sour, so she wasn't pleased with that. We hadn't ordered anything else yet, so we decided to just go someplace else that would be a better fit for what we originally had in mind. So I offered to pay for the margarita, after my wife having taken a single sip and not liking it, AND THEY LET ME PAY. And, on top of that, it was $7 for a "house" margarita at what would be "happy hour" pretty much everywhere, especially on a Friday afternoon.
So, all in all, we were not impressed.
