"Arcadia— Whereas most of the area’s hot pot restaurants offer communal cooking using tableside cauldrons, Yintang Spicy Hot Pot operates a bit differently." - Cathy Chaplin

Google
Came here with my friend tonight for dinner. I got the spicy beef broth and it was delicious. You grab what you want in your hotpot and weigh it. The variety of ingredients were plentiful and fresh. It’s $13.99/lb. This was perfect since you can customize each hotpot bowl how you desire. Also, the sauce bar was perfect.

Google
This Taiwanese hot pot restaurant is really amazing. I think you get your money's worth at $13.99 a pound, especially considering the variety and quality of the ingredients. I ordered my broth extra spicy and it tasted just spicy, but you can adjust the spice level with the condiments (see notes below). The lamb tasted really fresh, as well as the noodles and all of the vegetables. I recommend mixing the lamb with the egg noodles, shitake and oyster mushrooms, lotus root, fried tofu puffs, bok choy, and corn. I added a generous amount of chili paste, fresh scallions and cilantro. It was one of the most satisfying bowls of noodles I've ever had! Seriously! One thing worth highlighting is that their table condiments and garnishes are not weighted. And they include the following: chili paste, garlic, scallions and cilantro, sesame and peanut sauces, sesame seeds, dried chili flakes, sugar, cumin powder, sweet chili-sesame sauce, pepper oil, soy sauce, and vinegar. Highly recommend!

Google
Good place for hotpot, comparable to YGF nearby though it feels like the meat options are a little less here, and some ingredients a little less fresh. Overall great quality and prices still. Helpful staff and quick turnaround. You fill a bowl with raw ingredients, pick a soup base, and they cook it for you. For a personal hotpot I got plenty of tasty, well cooked food and a bowl of leftovers for $20. Bone broth worked as a good soup base and they had different options for sauces and toppings. The price is set per lb and gets even cheaper when you bring a large group! Would definitely recommend.

Google
Order measured by lbs but give you lots of cheap ingredients like noodles but not a lot of protein.

Cindy Lee

Google
Bone broth was very good, mild was a good comfortable level of spice. The fresh red chili in the sauce section is very spicy and numbing, great quality! It was my first time there, so the staff was patient to explain how it works and introduce different ways they can prepare the food. You pick anything you want from the "food bar section"; they weigh your selection and charge by lb ($13.99 per lb, mine was $20); they bring the food to your table once it's ready (about 10 minutes). This is a good hot pot business model, definitely will come back!

Google
Tried this new spicy hotpot restaurant today. You can select any topings, noodle and meat you like. And then you choose beef or tomato soup base. They weigh whatever you choose on a scale. I think mine is like 1.3 pounds and it cost me about $18. I chose mild spiciness and that is the same level as Korean instant noodle by Nongshim, Bowl Noodle Souo Hot and Spicy flavor.

HORRIBLE SERVICE ATTITUDE! This is the first time my wife and I came by this place and this will the last time. Horrible service attitude from the server below, enlarged picture below so everyone knows who I’m talking about, servers won’t give me her name, the cashier eventually said her name is Candy. Horrible attitude from this server Candy, an attitude like that does not belong in the hospitality industry. This place closes at 9:30, we came in at 9:05, we tried to get seated, and immediately Candy started scolding and yelling at us, telling us that they are closing right away. Lucky another server chimed in saying there was still time to order, but then we were given 5 minutes max to order while being rushed through the entire process of picking our food. During this chaotic process, Candy was yelling and arguing with me because I could not understand why the closing time is 9:30 pm on Google & Yelp, but when I came in at 9 pm, you’re screaming at me telling me you’re closed?! Why don’t you just put 9 pm as your closing time? After some back and forth of arguing, Candy had the audacity to tell me their new closing time is now 9:10 pm…, really?! So save yourself the headache, don’t come here unless you want a piece of Candy’s HORRIBLE SERVICE ATTITUDE.

Google
Hot pot is known for their soup base, also is a warming activity for cold, winter climates. This place serve less than half bowl of soup with meat and vegetable inside. They serve food inside a bowl, not in a POT. 小氣了一點. Unlike traditional hot pot restaurant. They aren't generous on the soup, because they afraid you will waste their soup as per the owner"s respond! We won't be back again. False advertising, they should consider change their restaurant name to YinTang Spicy Half Bowl. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED, SO ARE MY FRIENDS.

Yelp
Great concept for those who want quick service and don't want to spend money on ayce! Ambiance is clean and easy to navigate. Broth was okay but they have a variety of sauces to make up for the underwhelming flavor. They have a great selection of toppings for your hot pot. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

Louise P.

Yelp
This place is so addicting! I've gotten takeout twice now and the flavor of the spicy beef bone broth won't leave my mind This place is unique because you get to choose what to put in your hotpot bowl! For takeout, they cook the meat and veggies for you and then they pack the broth in a separate bowl so it helps it stay fresh. You can also make your own sauces at the sauce bar :) They have a good variety of vegetables and add ins, but not too many meat options besides beef, lamp, and shrimp - or at least that's what I saw when I came in. They charge by weight of your bowl, which is great if you're not too hungry or if you want extra portions. Take out takes about 5-10 mins after you weigh your bowl for them to cook everything inside. Not much of a waiting area though, but an empty table works. They have a lot of seating and everything looks relatively clean. Great place to try for hotpot lovers !!

Yelp
glad i got to try yin tang after going to ygf malatang multiple times across the street. both are very solid choices and at the same price point, offering the same build your own hot pot by weight and have soup and dry options. they don't have super unique foods like frog legs but there's more fishball options which is different. one down side is I had to pay in cash since mines was less than $15. The beef soup broth tasted delicious (tastes same as ygf's imo) w/ some of my favorite items including enoki mushrooms, vermicelli, bamboo shoots, and scallops. their "lowest level of spicy" is actually no spicy so it's any option for those who can't eat spicy! i usually like a mild spicy so i added a few drops of the chili oil on the table and it was the perfect amount of spicy for me! i got less than 1 pound which was surprisingly still enough food for me. will definitely be coming back to enjoy some delicious hot pot!

Yelp
I've been craving pho and decided to try this spot that I had discovered when I was searching for a pho restaurant. To start off I'm a huge fan of the way this restaurant operates just because of how simple and self serve it is. It is located in a pretty large shopping center but parking is decent. When you enter, you are seated by a very nice staff member and you head off to the buffet area where you pick up some tongs and a big clear bowl and just start going to town... they have over 70 options of seafood, meat, vegetables, and everything in between. Some of the stuff I saw was very authentic and interesting. My plate turned out to be almost 2 pounds, which is about $13 a pound (not bad at all)... you give them your bowl once you're finished and they prepare it and return it to you in about 5 to 10 minutes . I got my pho in a spicy vegan broth which honestly turned out to be better than I thought it would. They did a great job and preparing the food because the shrimp was perfectly cooked as well as the other ingredients, like you can tell that they didn't just throw hot broth into the bowl and throw it back at you, they cooked everything correctly, and my favorite part is since I couldn't finish my big bowl, I took it to go. Overall, this was a very good pho restaurant, it looks like a small family owned restaurant which I love supporting small businesses, and the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend anyone reading this to try it out and feel the great savory cuisine.

Yelp
It is kinda dangerous to come here when you are hungry. You grab this gigantic plastic bowl and put all the protein and veggies in there, they weigh it and it comes out in a piping hot broth of your choice. Hubby and I both chose the tomato broth, except mine was 1.24 lbs and his was 2.98 lbs! Needless to say this was a pricey dinner. In hindsight, we probably could have shared one bowl (his) because we did have leftovers and the broth was still good for 2 more meals! The package of the pickled cabbage I feel should not be weighed and just be flat fee. I did enjoy the broth and the food here, and service was friendly where you are given a number for your table when you come in. Just be careful not be too heavy handed when scooping all your raw food because it is $13.99/lb plus tax and tips lol

Nik J.

Yelp
The first time I came here I was hooked! The restaurant was really clean and inviting, albeit on the smaller side so can be a little wait during busier times. You pick your veggies from the bar, choose your broth, and they cook it for you and bring to your table. The selection here in the bar is really good with a wide variety of textures and flavors so it's really easy to eat with your eyes, so be careful. I've somehow gotten an over $20 price tag every single time even though I try to be conscious of what I'm getting but everything is too tempting to try! The broth I found delicious and the spice levels perfect. I've come back multiple times and brought friends newer to this concept here and we all enjoyed it. Leftovers also heat up well.

Yelp
My new favorite spot for malatang. They have the items that I like. Open early and easy for dining alone. Service can't be bad cuz ur doing most yourself like picking ur ingredients and making ur own dipping sauce. Highly recommend.

Khaing Z W.

Yelp
Arcadia location. Neat and tidy inside. Spacious. Clean. Friendly staff. Very good selection of food. Doesn't require minimum weight. Beef broth is delicious. Love the beef tendon

Vicky W.

Yelp
Finally give this place a try. My friend highly recommended so here we are!! Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Nice and clean dining area. All food is charged by weight. You get the big bowl container, get in line and pick whatever you like from the various ingredients. At the end of the line, they ask you if you want soup or dry mix, settle your payment then enjoy!! Very unique flavors and I like it. Many items to choose from so it's interesting. Food is fresh and they are served fast. I will come back more I think

Cherlene L.

Yelp
I love love love coming here! I love hot pot or anything that deals with putting meat in soup. I'm glad that this place doesnt have a minimum for the weight but since it's under a pound, they ask that you pay with cash unless you combine your order with another person. The last time I came, they have their own reward system and you get a stamp per pound and I've seen some people fill up 2LBs in one of their visits. It's always clean when I grab my ingredients and they do their best to keep the items separated as well as for the sauces. Note that their base level of flavor is "slightly spicy" but isn't bad at all. I have yet to try their dry bowl but can't seem to give up the malatang. I don't have much to say about this place because it really speaks for itself. Clean, good service, good food and good time. Maybe with a better paying job, I probably might come here once a week in the future.

Yelp
What a great place! Pros include ample parking, spacious and clean, good variety of items, kind and attentive employees. $13.99 per pound! I was very impressed with their variety of items! AT first glance it doesn't look like a lot because of how the place is set up but there are a LOT to choose from. The veggies look very fresh and I liked that there was an employee constantly cleaning and refilling. They had a deal if you pay cash and get over 1.5 lbs of food, you get a free drink! I had 1.48 so I added another beef ball and pork blood cake and that put me at 1.55 lbs. I got a free homemade green tea which was refreshing and sweet. There are two types of soup base to chose from (tomato or beef) - I chose mild beef broth which turned out to be spicier than I liked lol! The amount was very generous - 1.5lbs can definitely be enough for two meals. Pay after you eat at the counter. Don't forget their stamp card!

Harris P.

Yelp
The staff is very friendly. Went there around 4:30 pm for early lunch so not busy at all, only couple tables with huge space so very enjoyable. The restaurant is also very clean. Lots of parking in front of the restaurant. Wish they have more meat options.

Hannah H.

Yelp
Yintang has been my go-to for quite a while now and what I love about it is that you are in control of what you pay. The price of your bowl is determined through weight. I've been to multiple Yintang locations and I can confidently say that the Arcadia location is the best. The service is extremely efficient and the workers there are so attentive! My water gets refilled everytime without ask and they are often checking in. There is a self-serving toppings bar and a self-serving sauce bar. The workers are constantly refilling and tidying the toppings bar so guests are picking from a variety of fresh ingredients. Parking: Plenty! Yintang is located in a large plaza. Little note: As of recent, if the weight of your bowl hits 1.5lb+ and you're paying in cash, you're eligible for a green tea drink on the house! Also, don't forget to ask for a stamp card, every 10lbs gets 1lb free. Who doesn't love free things?

Aminta C.

Yelp
yintang has awakened something in me, i've been going to this place multiple times a week. the concept is simple: grab a bowl and tongs, then build your own hotpot with your choice of meats, tofu, noodles, and vegetables! once you're done, you weigh your food by the pound ($13.99 per pound). If your total is under a pound, you may need to pay in cash or be asked to add more. If you're dining with someone, I recommend combining your orders to avoid paying cash. restaurant is cozy with booth seating and tables, you might get unlucky and get a table a bit too close to the bar area with a lot of foot traffic. the place does get busy during lunch and dinner so they try to fit in as many tables as possible in the store. parking: located in a plaza with free customer parking, no issue finding a spot during dinner. note: don't forget to grab your stamp card! (purchase 10 pounds, get one pound free) foot

Yelp
Currently a favorite for a good tomato soup base noodle bowl! You pick your ingredients and put them into a bowl, weigh your food amount, bring it up to the front to purchase it, sit, and wait for your order to be cooked! I really like the tomato base because when I add noodles into it, it becomes a tomato ramen bowl! The bowls are HUGE and you can choose a variety of meats and vegetables, and I sure enjoy my vegetables! Thier portions are large, so I usually have some soup left over that I can take home to make more soup noodles with! For under $20 that I can eat till I'm full with leftovers, I think it is a great deal! It's also in a convention location with ample parking. Good service, clean space, good for a casual bite to eat whether your super hungry or not, this is a winner in my book!

Rachael T.

Yelp
Hot pot season is here so we had to visit this spot! The food, service, and vibes were I love the concept of walking in to grab what I need in a bowl and having it served when ready. There's a great variety of meats, vegetables, and noodles to choose from. Our food came out in a little over 10 minutes. One bowl had spicy hot pot beef broth and the other was tomato beef broth. Both soups are actually really good. Their sauce station looked really good too. However, we felt that our food was very flavorful and didn't need any sauce

ChiaChun T.

Yelp
I had a great experience at Yintang Spicy Hot Pot! They offer a wide selection of fresh ingredients, so there's plenty to choose from to customize your hot pot. The soup bases are flavorful--my favorite was the original soup, which had a good kick of spice, but nothing overwhelming. If you prefer something milder, the tomato soup is a great option--delicious and not spicy at all. Overall, it's a fantastic place to enjoy hot pot with great quality ingredients and tasty soup bases.

Almo V.

Yelp
* High chairs * No baby changing station in bathrooms * if this place is busy, a stroller might block other tables This place is awesome & has a wonderful crew working it. All the ladies I spoke to were friendly and patient while explaining how it worked here; Step 1.) Grab a one giant bowl and fill it with what you want. Step 2.) Once you have gotten what you want, walk over to the counter, the cashier will weigh it on a scale and ask if you want beef broth or, tomato broth. (Vegan people, let them know you are vegan because the tomato broth isn't vegan.) The cashier will give you a number bracelet to take to your table. Then, they take your bowl to the kitchen to cook it. When your soup is ready, it will be brought out to your table. Step 3.) Be happy and eat. They will bill you at the end. All the ingredients are fresh and taste amazing. Everything is nicely organized and clean. This is a must try if you want some delicious soup.

Alicia Z.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite concept for a hotpot spot as someone who doesn't eat a lot and likes something quick and easy. I like that there's a lot of options for different ingredients and I could get as much or as little as I want. It lets me try and mix/match a bunch of different things without needing to order a whole plate of it. I personally like either the mild dry mix or tomato broth. And don't forget to get their stamp card if you come often!

Mai L.

Yelp
This place has the best broth ever, both beef and tomato. They had a wide range of items you can add, not a lot of meat selection but I'm really more into veggies. This place was well kept and clean. The staff are quick and efficient as well. First, you get seated then head out in the salad bar area, grab a bowl and a tong and choose the items you want for your hotpot. Get it weighed, receive a number while they make your hotpot. Make your sauce and wait for your hotpot at your table and pay afterwards. Parking was in a huge parking lot so it was a breeze to park. This hotpot place was very affordable so tip the servers well!

Annabelle H.

Yelp
Came here a couple weeks ago with my girlfriends and really enjoyed our lunch! I absolutely love hotpot and malatang so my review may be a bit biased but as far as malatang goes - this is the 3rd chain I've been to and Yintang is by far my favorite. Their sauce bar is the best I've seen - clean and so many choices/options! Their selection of ingredients is also the widest I've seen. None of the ones I've been to have duck blood (one of them had pork blood), and Yintang also has the best selection of meat I've seen. I think there were three options, and all of them were sliced nice and thin with a good amount of fat to meat ratio. Other places cut it too thick or are way too fatty. The restaurant felt clean and quiet too. I did go on a weekday though, so I can't speak for how crowded it may get on weekends. Overall, it's my new favorite malatang place and I hope they open one in NorCal! In the meantime, I'll be visiting everytime I'm down in SGV!

Niki D.

Yelp
This is my favorite hot pot place. I love how you just pay for what you get so you don't have to get all you can eat. If I could choose one place to eat at for the rest of my life it would be this place. I want to gate keep it so it doesn't get crowded! Both broth options are soo good!

Jasmin L.

Yelp
Finally a bariatric friendly hot pot. You pay for the weight. The service was great and the food was delicious.

Karina S.

Yelp
Great spot for malatang! Very affordable at $13.99/lb, and just a minimum of 0.5lb per bowl. I got the spicy hot pot- was definitely spicy, would probably get medium next time. Loved the assortment of fish cakes, veggies, but wished there were more meat options in addition to just the beef and lamb. You pick your ingredients and put it into a bowl, then weigh it at the counter where you are given a number. They'll cook the ingredients and bring it to your table! Pay at the counter afterwards. Very clean and comfortable interior, came with a group of 8 and had no trouble getting a table.

Ling L.

Yelp
A build your own type of cooked hot pot. Simple and easy! $13.99 a lb is the cost and varies depending on what you choose. There are 2 broth options. I wish there was more soup broth to choose from. The tomato broth is ok at this location. The tomato broth at the MPK location was much better. Had it 3x so far and still pretty good and filling!

Jessica S.

Yelp
Love getting my hot pot here! Good service, and always chill. I love that you get to pick and choose what you want..fun!!! Gets busy here, especially on weekends! And if you can also get dry noodles if you don't want soup. Just ask for stir fry noodles and you can also get rice.

Magda N.

Yelp
Solid hot pot place. Love that we can pick what we want in our food. If we don't like fish balls, don't add it. If we like lamb, add more of it. Honestly for me, this is the kind of food that the meat doesn't even need to be the star. The sauces are so good and coats any vegetable into delicious food. We love to get ours dry pot, no soup. Theirs is pretty solid. I don't think you even need any dipping sauce, but that's up to you. Just be ready to have garlicky breath for the rest of the day. We like to share a big bowl of it and eat with side of rice. Most people eat as hot pot soupy bowl on its own. If you pay cash, you get free soda. Tip: make sure to wait by the door until they give you a table, don't go straight to the raw bar. They need to assign you a table first, otherwise you won't have anywhere to sit and eat.

Kit T.

Yelp
I always passed by this place but never gave it a try. Today , I was like let's try this place out. I really like the concept of this place where it's weighted by the amount of food on your bowl. Sometimes, I want hotpot but I don't want to eat a lot, this place is perfect. If I remember correctly, this place charges $13 per lb. First you grab a big bowl where you go to the topping bar and fill whatever you want. There's fresh vegetables, noodles, fish balls, dumplings, meats ( chicken, beef, pork, lamb, seafood) and other etc for you to choose from. Once you fill your bowl up, you go to the counter where the cashier weights your bowl and ask what soup based you would like. The soup bases is malatang (spicy) or tomato ( for the non spicy lovers). The cashier will give you a number bracelet to take to your table. Your bowl will be taken by the kitchen staff who will cook your food for you. While waiting, you can go to the sauce bar and make your own dipping sauce. I was surprised to see the variety of sauces that was offer. Once your food is ready, the staff will bring it to your table. Overall, the food was pretty good. The place is clean and service is friendly. I will definitely be coming back here if I want hot pot.

Gloria L.

Yelp
Fyi their dry hotpot is NOT mala xiang guo. It's literally a drier version of their soup hotpot - everything is cooked in a more condensed peanut sauce soup/base and sprinkled with pepper powder and minced garlic on top. While it wasn't bad, I wish it was mala xiang guo instead. 3 stars for my ubereats order: 1) fresh ingredients, doesn't skimp on the proteins, 2) good tasting sauces, 3) honored my request to replace king oyster mushroom with enoki, but taking 2 stars off for 1) forgot the bokchoy and other greens, and 2) dry hotpot wasn't as expected (I got spicy but it's mild and very heavy on the peanut sauce)

Anny O.

Yelp
Medium spicy broth 5/5 - I love yintang! Soup flavor is good and medium spicy isn't too spicy for me but might be for some. I love how you get to choose all the ingredients yourself. My mom also got medium spicy and it was too spicy for her and the worker was kind to change out her soup so it wasn't too spicy. We came on a Saturday for lunch and got seated right away!

Stephanie T.

Yelp
Small, clean, do-it-yourself hot pot place where you get as much or as little as you want. At $13.99/lb it's definitely not all you can eat but our bowls ranged from 1.25-1.95 lbs and most of us had plenty of leftovers for dinner. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful in terms of variety. Meats include sliced beef, lamb and pork belly. Lots of fish balls including the ones that had roe hidden in the middle. Once you're done gathering all your ingredients you bring it to the register to be weighed. They'll then take it in the back and finish it off dry or soupy with your pick of tomato or bone broth. TBH wasn't thrilled with tomato but heard bone both was yummy. Definitely will be back to try that!

Elaine L.

Yelp
It's basically soup weather now that it's getting cold! Think of this as like one of those Mongolian BBQ places, but for hot pot instead! Grab your ingredients and they cook it up for you and bring it to you in a huge bowl. It's $13.99 per pound. So it's good to be mindful of how much you're grabbing. I ended up with 2.5 pounds my first time there ever, so I ended up taking half of it home and enjoying it at home later. 1 pound is less than you think! You have a choice between tomato broth (no spicy option for this) and the bone broth has spice options. Theres a sauce bar also. I'll probably not get the ramen noodles next time because they were over cooked. Yam knots or glass noodles will be the way to go. My husband commented the same about the egg noodles. I would come back again and be more mindful about what I'm grabbing and adjusting my noodle selection. Still hits the spot for hot pot! Lots of fresh ingredients are available with many options. There's a sauce bar also.

Scott W.

Yelp
You can create your own personal hot pot and you can choose your own broth. The service is good, the food is excellent, and the restaurant is clean.

George L.

Yelp
I love the concept of this hot pot place. First, they will seat you at a table and then you head over to the ingredient aisle where you select your veggies and meats. You'll then head over to the cashier and weigh your bowl. From there they make it to your preference and bring it out to your table. As a picky eater, I appreciate how you can choose the quantity and items in your broth. For $13.99/lb you can choose your ingredients and your choice of dry or soup base and spice level. They have plenty of different veggie and meat options. They also upgraded their sauce bar since the last time I came here. I always get the classic pork soup and it is delicious. If you are not a fan of pork or mala flavor you can choose their tomato based soup instead. Since it was a hot day, my boyfriend got the dry soup. The only difference I noticed with the dry soup is that it had more of a peanut flavor to it.

Meena N.

Yelp
Easy peasy meal without having to think too much on what to get. Great for groups especially if you want to do separate checks. Grab a bowl and fill er up, but really be mindful of what you're getting. It's really easy to go overboard. The first time I went I got like 2.5lbs of food, and paid it. Did I eat it all? YES I DID. Also, it's bc I got heavy things, like I got egg tofu, which was heavy relative to how it fills you up. Second time I was smarter and did about 1.2lbs, which was a perfect amount. Then they weigh your food and cook it for you. You have a choice of a dry fry or a soup. I've never gotten the dry and always the soup. Don't forget the sauces, although you don't need it bc the soup is so flavorful. Lots of sodium though, so I had the msg/sodium face after a few hours but I don't regret it. Perfect for a cold rainy day, and decently priced. Just be careful not to overload your bowl!

Yelp
This hotpot spot is very unique. You can choose whatever type of protein, veggies, or add-ins you like in your hotpot. They have a good variety of veggies, which is a plus for a veggie person like me. Once you have chosen what you like, bring your bowl back to the staff so they can cook it for you and add the desired spice level. They charge about $13.99 per pound, which is a great deal. The location is spacious and neat, and the staff are friendly and fast.

Yelp
I was visiting friends in LA and my friend wanted to bring me to one of her favorite Taiwanese hot pot soup spots! It was Yin Tang! I've had this chain in SD but understanding the demographic differences, I had a feeling this location would be different. I was SO happy with my experience and meal here because the ingredients were next level! Everything was clean too. Compared to the SD location, ingredients and interior seating is similar but this Arcadia location has more traditionally Taiwanese ingredients and the way the pig blood is prepped alone let me know how they pay attention to the details! (Sliced nicely and soaked in water instead of blood / dry on its own). Meats were also not frozen and dry looking. This location also has plum juice as one of their free drink options if you get at least 1.5lb of food! (You can combine the weight of bowls from your party if your bowl alone doesn't surpass 1.5lb) It pairs so well with the original soup base and cuts out the oils and fattiness from meats. Their soup base tasted less salty which I love because my previous experience was too salty. Staff speaks Mandarin and were nice! There is also plenty of parking available. Can't wait to eat here again!

Yelp
Excellent hotpot spot. Ordering is a little different from traditional hotpot spots. You first select your desired ingredients from a buffet style line and pay per pound of ingredients. Then you bring it to the register and they cook it in the back for you. They have a good selection of tempura, fish balls, meats, and veggies. You can choose from several different broths. Since it was our first time, we were recommended the beef bone broth. The end product was extremely flavorful and the diverse selection of ingredients hit every craving I had when it comes to hotpot. My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I accidentally got too much ingredients initially. The service was excellent and our waitresses were very kind and patient with explaining how things work. The inside was clean and not noisy. Perfect place when it comes to hotpot and I will definitely be back whenever I can make it out to Arcadia.

Yelp
I am so obsessed with YingTang! Their broth is unbeatable. I usually order the medium spicy and it tastes perfect every time! Friendly staff and amazing customer service all around! Can't get enough of it!

Yelp
I somehow find myself craving this place even though it's a 100 degrees outside. I love the variety of toppings this place offers. From noodles, veggies, to meats, their choices are ample so if you are a picky person, you can avoid the toppings that you dislike. I love how everything is set up. You first get a table and you can walk over to the toppings aisle and grab whatever you like. Beware because the first time that I came here, I uncontrollably grabbed all of the toppings that I liked in bulk and didn't realize that I had to pay almost $30 because I wasn't aware of how heavy my bowl was. Nevertheless, still worth it and I took the leftovers home to eat the next day. The price is determined by how heavy your toppings are in the bowl and I believe it was about $14 per pound. The soup that I got was the classic pork soup and my boyfriend got the tomato soup mainly because he doesn't like mala or spice. For people who don't like mala as much like me, you can always get the classic pork soup less spicy. That's what I did and I thought the mala wasn't too overpowering. The pork soup was so creamy and yummy. Kind of reminded me of a Tonkatsu soup with a kick. The tomato soup was just alright to me. It kind of just reminded me of Campbell soup. This place is most definitely a must try. I love the variety of choices! Would definitely come back again :)

Yelp
This location is pretty much the same as the one in Monterey Park, but with a more modern and brighter interior. I like the tables and chairs a lot at this location and the space feels a lot bigger! Like other locations, you just let the front know how many people in your table, grab a bowl on the right side of the restaurant where the meat & veggie bar is and start filling it with whatever meats, veggies and carbs your heart desires! If you like cilantro, be sure to add some to your bowl, game changer! I believe the price is around $13 or $14 per lb but it mightve increased since the last time I went. Service is quick, once you fill your bowl up, you'll bring it to the front for weighing and checkout. They'll ask how spicy you want it and I usually go for mild. I would highly recommend adding at least mild spicy though because it really adds to the flavor compared to without it. Once you pay, they'll give you a number and then you wait at your table! Also there's an unlimited sauce bar in the same area as the veggies and meat, so doesn't hurt to grab that as you wait. After that they cook all your contents in their Yin Tang soup and bring it out to you. Everything cooked in the soup is SO GOOD! I love their soup broth!!! This place always hits, can be pricy if you get too much but leftovers are worth it!

Yelp
When we came here when they first opened the prices were so ridiculous that we left without eating. Fast forward over a year later and we're in the area and craving hotpot so we yelp and realized when we got there it was the place we walked out of. It had a lot of people and looked different so we tried it anyway. Big difference ! So they charge $13 for 1 lb of food which I think is really good, and their spicy broth is sooooo yummy. Definitely will be back here.

Yelp
Build your own bowl of soup noodle. What could go wrong? Absolutely nothing. If you're rating this anything below it's you! You're in control of what you put in, how much of it, and what spice level. Meats choices were good. Always love pure protein, who needs veggies? Under $15/lb and I think if you're under the pound limit you'd need to pay cash. You can easily eat here for $15 and under and be satisfied unless you haven't eaten in years.

Yelp
Love the concept. Already been twice in 1 week. It is super convenient, good price and tastes good. Good amount of choices for veggies, wish they had a few more meat option. Usually cost me $15-$20 per bowl. I always get mild which is perfect for me. The place is clean, the staff is nice, well lit and family friendly. They have a stamp card as well. I love Boiling Point and this is a great alternative.

Yelp
/)/) ( . .) ( づ all in all a very solid place. The variety wasn't as big as like other places I know but still beef and lamb to choose. The beef soup was very mild. Staff was nice. Still I have like other places I prefer to go to. But it was nice to try. You won't get disappointed. Quality is good.

Yelp
Craving hot pot? But not too much? What about a noodle bowl dish? You could have that too! Haven't seen another concept like this one - but you get your raw ingredients (Mongolian BBQ style) and then they weigh your bowl at the end. Right now it's about 13.99 per lbs and that's super worth it depending on how much you get. Don't let your eyes speak for your stomach! Love the fish balls, and went for the lamb. The broth that they cook the ingredients in was extremely flavorful and full of umami. I'll definitely be back! Service was great too - everything was extremely clean and precise. Didn't look dirty anywhere inside the restaurant.

Yelp
Going into Yin Tang, I was excited to see that there was a broad selection of delicious ingredients. I really liked how they price it by the pound, so anything above a pound is multiplied by 13.99 x (number of pounds). I was able to collect an assortment of 4 pieces of meat, followed by fish balls and vegetables. The lady at the counter was super receptive, and I really love how I was able to communicate with the speakers through Taiwanese dialect. It is recommended to have a Chinese speaker in order to smoothly process orders. Ordering is super simple for takeout, and there is a waiting list if the place gets busy. I ordered the mild spice hot pot, with an extra side of rice (cost's extra), which had a nice chili scent and a fresh aroma of vegetables/flavor. I really love this style of hot pot, as it allows you to get the most out of your money for a cost-efficient price. The service and staff are excellent, and the vibe is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a late night date!

Yelp
Had a very satisfying spicy meal here at this diy hot pot place. Love that I get to choose whatever I want and the quantity I want. They take it to the back and cook it for you. The soup I chose was mild spicy and it had just the right amount of kick for me. Would def go back again next time I'm craving some quick hot pot.
