Google
All good, great lightning fast service, food’s prepared fresh and quick, looks amazing… what else can we ask for? But then we took a bite, and a spicy crying ensued. This was the spiciest spicy tuna we ever had. Definitely not kid friendly. Otherwise everything was great!

Google
I love this spot! Service is always great and their 20% specials rolls deal makes it even better. My go-to is the Georgia Bulldog roll! I love taking friends and family here. This cute restaurant is tucked alongside Buford Highway and can sometimes be easy to miss when it's dark, but they're next to Shakin' Crawfish and have a decently sized parking lot; parking is rarely an issue here.

Every time I come to Atlanta I have to order from this place. I wish I had more photos, but this is my most recent order, but this is one of the best Japanese places in Atlanta. The prices are great for the stomach filling food portions and there are so many options to choose from! I highly recommend people eating here because you won’t be disappointed. It is great for eating in the restaurant and having it to-go!

Google
A go-to for traditional sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi on Buford highway. This is a casual and nice spot for dinner and lunch. Their fish quality is nice and tastes fresh. Did I mention the sushi portions are huge! This is not your creative fusion, omakase, or high end sushi spot, nor does it try to be. Think more like hot izakaya Japanese platters and Rainbow rolls. They offer drinks like sake and beer, and you can have chill conversations while eating rolls like Oishi roll or Spider rolls. Or get the deluxe sashimi platter with appetizers. This is probably our new go-to for traditional sushi, when all you want is a mouthful of sushi rolls that won't break the bank.

Google
Despite appearances from the outside, this was some of the best sushi I’ve had in Atlanta. Portions were huge, fish was great quality, and they weren’t stingy with it like how most places are nowadays. My bf also said the miso soup was extremely flavorful. I will say beware of the spicy tuna! It was amazing, but definitely spicier than your average place. All in all, service was amazing, prices were very reasonable, and the quality/potions were fantastic. What more can you ask for?!

Google
I got the waiting with the glasses who doesn't know mitch English apparently Nevada because even though I pointed to what I wanted on the menu she still got my order wrong, and charged me die an extra sushi roll that I thought came with my lunch special. So I anticipated spending $25, and it turned into $50. But the food is delicious just make sure you are very clear on what is being ordered.

Google
Came here for lunch and I was pleased by the specials they offered. The atmosphere on the outside is a little gruff but the inside is a bit better. The quality of the food is comparable to quick takeout I wouldn’t come here for a date or dinner but it’s definitely a great spot for a quick lunch. The sushi is pretty good but not the best I’ve ever had. The servers were attentive and professional they all help each other to make the experience smooth. They charge extra for condiments which was interesting but other than that it was a decent experience.

Google
Great sushi for the price!!! Great service. We will be back! Got the chef’s deluxe sushi and had to take some home!

Yelp
An unpretentious experience with fair prices and quality fish. We had the soft shell crab appetizer - which was perfect and somehow only $10 Chu toro, medium fatty tuna for $7 a piece is a steal, and it was incredible... will probably go back and get about 10 pieces of just that. The froofy rolls we got were the Bagel roll (pretty tasty and large) and the White Tiger Roll- both yum and a great deal. We sat at the sushi bar and had a great experience / convo with Toshi. Easy parking and quite possibly the best sushi spot in the vicinity of Brookhaven / Chamblee / Buford Highway. Will definitely be back. This is definitely worth the drive from Midtown ATL.

Yelp
So I found this place randomly while searching on the area map. It wasn't super far from where I was at so I gave it a shot. I walked in and I was not upset at the vibes. The service was attentive And they approach you and greet you as soon as you walk in the door. They have a nice amount of seating, you can sit at the bar top area where the sushi is served or you can sit in a seat. They actually have some things close to outdoors as well So you have a lot of options. Crunchy chicken skin - come on a salad bed and come with a sauce that is sweet and just the right amount of tangy. Jumbo shrimp shumai - really good, it was only 4 of them, but they were tasty and seemed fresh. Came with a smear of some super flavorful wasabi. Not that green kind either, this was out of pocket that made me stare at it a little bit as I began to chew (but in a good way). California tempura roll was pretty good. And the Crunchy shrimp roll was also good. They were not write home about good, but still decent. Volcano roll Now this one was something else. It was a little bit of a mess but in a good way. They really had the kitchen sink thrown on this! It was super flavorful and really tasty and had all types of things going on in my taste buds. It had a little bit of sweet little bit of tangy and a little bit of savory all at the same time. This spot was such a hit and I left full and stuff! True enough I probably ate too much lol but it's okay. But they hit all the marks!

Yelp
Certain items were okay while other choices were better. The ramen we chose (iekei ramen) was so so. We figured since the original recipe came from Yokohama, Japan that it would be interesting to try. It's a mixture of tonkotsu and shoyu soup which turned out to be a tad salty imo. It overall wasn't bad nor good. Just so so. White tiger roll: This spicy tuna and eel roll was pretty tasty. There definitely was a slight kick in spice. Overall a pleasant roll that's not too crazy in ingredients nor taste. On the bayou roll: This was really different and tasty. The deep fried crayfish was definitely interesting. The little crayfish provided a nice crunch in texture with the spicy tuna. Although this roll appears to be crazy, it was a rather mellow. You pretty much taste the crayfish in all its dough glory. I would definitely come to Yokohama sushi again and try their abundant menu. There was a great deal of people around dinner time on a Friday evening so popularity at this place wasn't lacking by any means.

Yelp
E X P E R I E N C E we came on a mon around 1pm. there were 4 other tables of 2-4. we were immediately greeted and sat. the restaurant was about 10% full. the restaurant is small- about 12-14 tables of four. there's also an 8 person bar seater. S E R V I C E the lady took our order quickly and brought out food promptly. interactions were brief and polite. F O O D rainbow roll and 5 pc nigiri lunch daily special $19.99: comes w miso soup and salad! the miso soup is tasty and so is the salad. the salad is lightly sauced. the fish is decently fresh and cut thick. unagi super crunchy roll $16: so tasty. nicely fried. the worlds thinnest piece of unagi though hahaha the rolls are super meaty. there's a lot of filling in the roll. B A T H R O O M Women's is clean. just dated. I love that the stalls open outward so there's more space. P A R K I N G probably about 20 spots. easy to park. good for wide turns- with trucks. P R I C E 40+18% tip ngl regular price one piece nigiri for $5 is extremely expensive (although cut thick and is decently fresh) and definitely not worth it. there's better places in buford that aren't this expensive. the lunch special makes this more worthwhile for sure. I'd come back during lunch

Yelp
We were in the mood for sushi for dinner tonight and remembered eating here before. We really enjoyed our first visit and were hoping for another great dinner and they did not disappoint! We opted for the Chef's Deluxe Sashimi which included Miso soup and salad for 2. There was enough food for 3 people, maybe 4 light eaters. We were stuffed and towards the end started bargaining with one another regarding who would eat what so as not to waste the deliciousness. What a great second experience at Yokohama. This is becoming one of our favorite sushi restaurants.

Yelp
I've been here several times but this is my first time writing a review. The ambience is casual yet upbeat and light. The service here is quite fast and efficient. This time we ordered the takoyaki, the natto with quail egg, the georgia crunch roll, and chirashi. The takoyaki was hot, soft, and yummy. The natto wasn't really my thing but my friend who enjoys that kind of stuff really liked it. The georgia crunch roll was delish - though I do wish the shrimp tempura was more crisp and hotter in temperature. The real star of the show was the chirashi supreme I got that also had fatty tuna and uni. The bites together of sushi rice, roe, and delicate fresh fish were bites from heaven. I have not been disappointed with anything I've gotten here and CANNOT recommend this place enough. Plus on the weekends you get 20% of your specialty rolls and they are fantastic.

Yelp
Yokohama Sushi is right on Buford Hwy with an adequate sized parking lot. For a Friday night dinner, we didn't want to eat at the sushi bar so we waited for a table for maybe 10-15 mins no biggie! Service here can be a bit rushed but very good! We ordered the Takoyaki and Deep Fried Squid Legs for our appetizer and 6 rolls to share between my friend and I. We were most definitely stuffed by the end of it and enjoyed alllll of the items so much! The Takoyaki and Deep Fried Squid came out hot and super fresh and oh my gosh the sauce is good! Definitely will be a sushi spot I come to more often as all the rolls were 20% off.

Yelp
I was unfortunately unimpressed with yokohama. I was so excited to try this place due to the great reviews and was disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Ramen which tasted just like a ramen package I would make at home. The egg was not goey like most ramen eggs are, it was lacking a lot of that authentic ramen flavor and it was very underwhelming. Our octopus dumpling appetizer was pretty good as well as our sushi roll, so maybe sticking to sushi is the way to go if you visit this place! Overall, i probably would not come back

Yelp
Enjoyed my Tuesday evening dinner with my best friend. Came here for ramen and while the broth was pretty plain, adding in the chili oil and some kimchi gave it nice flavor profile. We also tried the sweet potato tempura roll and it was pretty good, too. The inside has complements of Asian culture, which is really nice and the staff is there to assist with any questions, which was nice cause I'm vegetarian and was still able to find a dish and they were happy to remove the meat. Overall, it was pretty good.

Yelp
Yokohama Sushi is now my favorite sushi spot! I will gladly make the drive already for their quick and friendly service, on top of that, their sushi rolls are fantastic! My friend and I stumbled upon Yokohama a few weeks ago when looking for somewhere to eat after an event. To my delight, they offer specials throughout the week and our speciality sushi rolls ended up being 20% off! I ordered the Habanero Karai Roll which is Spicy Crab, Avocado, Cooked Salmon, Habanero, Spicy Mayo, and Eel Sauce. WOW. I LOVE spice and this roll did not disappoint! It's actually topped with raw pieces of habanero and the flavor was delicious. The roll came out hot and quickly too! I am allergic to avocado and they were very conscious when prepping my food. I came back again yesterday, ordering the Habanero Karai Roll without avocado and another with avocado to-go for my sister. The sushi chef came over before making my roll and confirmed that I wanted the second roll to have avocado, since they remembered my allergy. The attention to detail was really appreciated and unmatched! I ordered my sister's roll at the end of our meal, remembering the allergy and going out of their way to confirm does not go unnoticed! I am certainly a fan of Yokohama Sushi! They have amazing food, service, and dedication that shines through in every part of their restaurant. The internal ambiance is also pretty cool! I've never seen a restaurant quite like it! It almost resembles decor I've seen in bars by beaches, complete with a picnic umbrella. I will sure to take a picture next time I stop in because I will be back. Happy Eating!!

Yelp
A great Japanese restaurant that resembles an authentic ambience of a shack in Japan. An extensive menu offers a wide variety of different foods - from sushi to home meals. Service is attentive and interactive with hungry customers.

Yelp
Had the Yokohama roll and seaweed salad. Delicious! Service was great and look forward to returning

Yelp
Amazing! Quick service. Good atmosphere. Great presentation. We will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Large portions great value. The quality is good too. They run specials for lunch so it's worth checking out. Nothing spectacular but everything is good. I got the chirashi don and I was very happy with it.

Yelp
Went to my friends go to sushi spot yesterday and i see why! Located in Buford hwy with a decent parking lot, yokohama sushi is a great sushi spot to choose for any party. If you want sushi and a partner is not a sushi fan ( which how is that even possible) they have a ton of non sushi items also. We got 3 special rolls and one regular roll. Samurai roll was our favorite with shrimp tempura and savory sauces it was so yummy. Sunset roll was very refreshing with the thinly sliced lemon on it. The georgia bulldog roll and the tuna avocado roll were also good and so fresh. The best thing is it was so affordable. Most specialty roll are around $14-15 which is pretty amazing for the quality of sushi

Yelp
I had the Iekei Ramon. The disk was full of flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant if you haven't tried it yet.
google avatar

Samantha D.

Yelp
We came here during lunch time and got seated immediately. The inside of the restaurant is so nice! They did a great job with the decor. Our server was very nice and recommended the Iekei Ramen which was delicious! We also tried the shrimp shumai which was good. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
Excellent Japanese cuisine, the ambience is cozy and quiet, my server is very friendly and excellent service. This will be my new favorite restaurant
google avatar

Samantha K.

Yelp
There were a lot of parking spaces available. I went in on a Monday for lunch and it was pretty crowded but I didn't have to wait to get seated. The inside was very aesthetic. They provided hot green tea in cute little mugs that were Japan theme. They have multiple lunch specials available. I got the bento box lunch special which included a lot of food. It includes miso soup, salad, 6 pieces of sashimi, a tempura and an entree with two sides and rice. All of that for only $16 before tip and tax. The content of the bento box changes every day I believe. The food all came out so quickly yet tasted very fresh. The service was great where the waitress would ask us how everything is multiple times. I was so full I couldn't finish more than half of it. The amazing thing is that everything came in takeout boxes so you don't need to ask for any take out boxes to pack your leftovers in.
google avatar

Leanna V.

Yelp
OMG! I was told that this is the best place for sushi rolls and I couldn't agree more!! I love the rolls here because it was so big and fresh. The food came out so quick. I loved it and will most definitely come back when I'm back in ATL
google avatar

Tamara R.

Yelp
I really enjoyed eating here! It's a casual spot to get some really nice high quality sushi. We got seated and ordered right away but the food did take a while to prepare. We ordered the Takoyaki, crunch dragon roll, crunch salmon roll and spicy dragon roll. The Takoyaki is a must try, you will not be disappointed. I also enjoyed the rolls that we got except for the crunch salmon roll. I will still give five stars because their menu has a lot of variety and so many dishes to choose from other than sushi. I am definitely coming back here!
google avatar

Lexi R.

Yelp
Sometimes when you're in the mood for something going to a place you are already familiar with maybe the best choice. When me and my friends came in, we waited to be seated; which was not long. We wanted to somewhere that had sushi and cocktails, but they had no cocktails or drinks. The service here was definitely slow for no reason but we still wanted to see what they have to offer. Starting with the sushi they had a great variety and that was probably the best part of this experience. We tried three different rolls, and I think they were all pretty amazing. I don't feel like you can go wrong with any of the rolls. Then we proceeded to get some Ramen, this particular Ramen (Tonkotsu Black Ramen) was not particularly the best or what we had expected, and when, trying to get some help with removing it from our ticket, they were unwilling! It was truly upsetting, because the restaurant was not even above average, and they were unwilling to work with us, even though we had to spend a great deal of money already! Even at some of the most fine dining restaurants, the most expensive steak can be removed if it's not what the customer wants and/or has barely even touched. I was disappointed and will not be returning.
google avatar

Christie E.

Yelp
I'm always looking for new sushi spots and I've passed here a few times. Glad I finally stopped in for lunch. The menu had quiet a variety of Japanese dishes but takoyaki & spicy tuna are always my tester dishes. The takoyaki was really great and had a good amount of octopus. The B-52 roll was equally delicious. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Deniece K.

Yelp
Wow the sashimi platter was fresh & delicious. Stopped by for dinner with my parents. They really enjoyed the food. Sashimi was cut just right. The rolls were excellent also. Large portion servings & 20% off on the rolls! Definitely will be back.

Kristin M.

Yelp
Food was very good! Good prices, big portions. Really enjoyed my experience! I got the crunch dragon roll, was so fresh. Really tasty! Fuller roll
google avatar

Millie C.

Yelp
I enjoy coming to Yokohama for their lunch specials! Forgot to take a picture of the food. Their fish is always fresh and you get enough food for the amount. The rolls are always quite big and tasty. My favorite roll is the Alaskan roll from here. It's a traditional look place and definitely make sure to check their times online before heading there. I definitely recommend yokohama for a family friendly sushi spot!
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
the hand rolls were the best part of my day, if i were only to get one item, it would be the spicy salmon hand roll!! generously packed w salmon and v fresh, the sauce made it even better than the regular salmon hand roll.
google avatar

Xiao T.

Yelp
I enjoyed the vibe here, nice environment and friendly staffs' however, the food is ok. We ordered sushi(6pc); Yakisoba noodle, Omelet pork, total ended with $67 - not including tips. The sushi is ok, not as fresh as it should be, noodle is bit of too much salty, I recommend Omelet though. Good experience here over all, good to explore somewhere new!
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
Service was a little slow. But the sashimi and nigiri was fresh and great. Will come back again.

Robert B.

Yelp
My new go to place for Sushi, I was welcomed and seated at the bar. Everyone greeted me coming and going. I was constantly checked on by waitresses and chefs. The food was delicious, I'll be back, see you soon!
google avatar

James E.

Yelp
Reall good, fresh sushi at a very reasonable price. Also really enjoy the bevy of other Japanese staples on the menu. Will come back for lunch sometime but dinner is great here. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar.
google avatar

Sally H.

Yelp
Yokohama is my go-to sushi spot for yummy and affordable sushi. I got the B-52 and it hit the spot!
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Small looking restaurant on the outside, but the inside ambiance is pretty accommodating. Servers were nice and checked up on us. Purely food based review: Katsu-don - For the $15 value, it does the job and can fill you up. I do think there could be a bit more sauce but the Katsu is decent. Spicy Tuna & Salmon rolls - Great basic roll choices that don't break your bank. Spicy Tuna is properly spicy and salmon taste fresh.
google avatar

Erin S.

Yelp
Delicious, no frills sushi. The inside is cute, but it's not real date night vibes. They have beer and sake, but no cocktails. Great rolls, for cheaper than other sushi restaurants in the area. Fast service! Between the two of us, we got two house salads, one miso soup cup, and three sushi rolls. It was plenty, and we had none leftover. We got the Samurai Roll ($12.25), Georgia Bulldog Roll ($13.95), and Oishi Roll ($14.25). The rolls were amazing. Very big pieces. So good. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Nafi K.

Yelp
One of our go to sushi spots in Atlanta. Fish is always fresh and they make you feel like family! A must try
google avatar

Jared B.

Yelp
Ok when you're hungry and not from the area. I'm from south jersey where we are spoiled so to speak,, with ny fish At basically all the sushi houses there. I'm not used to the large roll , maybe it's because I ordered the spider roll and that is considered a specialty roll, which I don't really feel is.. since it's so popular, and everywhere you go Usually, when I go to restaurants, the portions are easier to eat properly with your chop sticks. I'll try 5 star today but I don't think Atlanta will come close to what I'm used to eating, there's no reason to stop looking for the best experience all around!
google avatar

Sally S.

Yelp
I was looking for a Bento Box and Yokohama had one so I ordered it. Conveniently located next to a "can't miss it" round restaurant in "downtown" Doraville on Buford Hwy. It was mid afternoon and their bento box for the day was front and center on display as you walk in. Seemed like a lot of food for $16.99. And it was. Everything was fresh and the sashimi was cut into the biggest pieces I have ever seen. Absolutely delicious. The soup was hot miso, nothing special here but the Bento Box was full of surprises. They have quite an extensive lunch menu with specials, nigiri and sashimi as well as full plates of preset items from Donburi, Curry, Ramen with a myriad of toppings, Udon or Soba to the Baked rolls stuffed with yumminess. They also serve wine, beer and desserts. I would highly recommend this cozy Japanese eatery.
google avatar

Joyita B.

Yelp
So this is very cute hibachi restaurant on Buford highway. It doesn't actually look like much from the outside but the interiors are cute and cozy. We easily got a place, it was walk in only. We ordered the edamame and chicken karage for starters, sunset roll and ramen for mains. We also got the warm sake to wash it all down. Edamame was basic, sunset roll was fresh and lemon added a zing. The chicken Kaiser was fried chicken so can't go wrong with that in the south. The ramen in my opinion was the highlight . Pork was succulent and cooked to perfection. Broth was tonkonsu and shoyu mix. Umami of the flavors blended in well. I would say this place is underrated. It's a cute place for a date or just regular dinner. Pricing was better than most overrated sushi places in Atlanta region. All in all, I would recommend this place!
google avatar

Racheal R.

Yelp
Great food! No problem parking The servings were filling, the service was good as well as the food. The restaurant has a nice casual authentic vibe. I typically like my sashimi slices thinner but I still enjoyed the food.
google avatar

Jaewon D.

Yelp
This is the best dollar for dollar sushi restaurant in Atlanta. You get a lot for what you pay for. The service is excellent and this is a great date spot. The ambiance is traditional with beautiful bench seats and faux roofing decorations that make it feel cozy and authentic. The sashimi is fresh and very high quality. You will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Shams H.

Yelp
This was my go-to sushi spot for a while. Everything was always fresh here, and the service has been wonderful. No complaints. 5 stars with no debates.

Ricardo S.

Yelp
I chose this place to celebrate my birthday lunch with my family, 5 kids included. Food: All hot kitchen Japanese dishes were solid to excellent, on spot. We had: Katsu Donburi, Tan Tan Men Ramen, Veggie and Shrimp tempura, Beef Curry, Udon Tempura noodles, and Shrimp Yakimeshi. The sushi in my opinion was average, bit disappointed to be honest. I was hoping for more since all staff are Japanese. Fish selection is limited to Americanized sushi. Very few dessert options, no Tempura ice cream which is a shame since all their tempura stuff was amazing. Service was efficient and professional for the most part of the meal, until they lwere rushing to kick us out even though they were still 1.5h away of their closing time and we were only there for 1h despite being a party of 10 with a birthday going on. So if you expect to celebrate here, I'd suggest you talk to them beforehand to make sure this doesn't happen. Negative points for this, totally unnecessary as we were their biggest table, no one was waiting to be seated, and we would have stayed and consumed more alcohol for a relaxed after-lunch 20-30min conversation. Ambiance is Ok. Nothing fancy, I wasn't expecting anything like that. Would repeat only for casual small meals if i'm in the Doraville area and hungry for warm Japanese classics, not for sushi.
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
Overall 4/5: The food is great and the service is friendly. Food 4/5: The sushi is good, I usually get something with eel on it and it never disappoints. We had the gyoza (also amazing) as well as the chicken teriyaki just to have a rice dish. Super delicious! Service 4/5: Our server was very friendly, she was very helpful with the menu. The food came out fast and our waters were always refilled. Definitely one of my favorite go to sushi spots! Thank you, Yokohama Sushi!

Meryelis A.

Yelp
Exceptional Sushi and Ramen Experience particularly concerning their sushi and ramen offerings. As someone who is discerning about sushi quality and freshness. I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality of the sushi each piece was expertly prepared, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs. I highly recommend for anyone craving sushi.
google avatar

Brandon P.

Yelp
Came here for a dinner with 2 adults and one kid on a Thursday. It was a tasty and friendly stop, would recommend if you are looking for reasonably priced sushi. We had the edamame to start (a little small on the portion), then 3 regular rolls and 2 special rolls, which ended up being just a little too much food for us. The rolls were all good, the habanero roll wasn't as spicy as I would have expected or they suggested. Staff was very friendly and accommodating with our kiddo.
google avatar

Ivy U.

Yelp
Found this place looking for a quick dinner. Cute and quaint. We had a couple rolls and they were very yummy. I had the Georgia crunch roll and my coworker had the super crunch roll. We both thoroughly enjoyed. Only wish they had a full bar. Only beer, wine, and sake.
google avatar

Jose U.

Yelp
Very good food, service and prices. Always fresh, never a bad taste. We come here every week. Beef fried rice is great, also the miso soup and salad.

Yelp
I really wants to give 5 starts however my family I went together for lunch and they somehow messed up my sisters order and then was supposed to correct it, but they end up cancelling the order for some reason we sat there for a while waiting for her food to be redone which was only suppose to take 15 minutes. Other than that experience, everything was delicious. I got the Georgia crunch roll under special rolls. My order was correct for the most part and very very good. They charge for eel sauce, $2.00 I think that's a little much because it was in a very tiny saucer. My ma didn't complain about any of her food, she said it was good. Not sure what she ordered though. The building looks a little old hut with greenery hanging off of it. It's small so don't miss it, because I almost drove by it. The parking is very limited. It wasn't too crowded when we got there but at lot people started showing up as we left. I'm comfortable enough come back to try out more items on the menu. Oh and they did give my sister free food after I asked where her food was. She was very nice about it.

Yelp
Plenty of seating inside with a parking lot in front. Everyone was very friendly! My husband and I shared (we over ordered lol): - Chef's Deluxe Sushi ($78.99): comes with 12 pieces of nigiri and a spicy tuna roll, choice of 2 appetizers (we got the chicken karaage and Hamachi kama), and 1 regular roll (we got the spicy tuna mountain roll). The chicken karaage are Japanese style nuggets with a wasabi mayo. The smaller pieces of chicken were a bit overdone but the larger pieces were nice and juicy. Enjoyed the wasabi mayo, thought it paired nicely. The Hamachi kama, which is a grilled yellowtail cheek with salt, was the highlight of the night. Haven't really seen fish cheek but my husband has fondly talked about how he would eat grilled tuna collar/cheek in the Philippines. The grilled taste was perfection, and it wasn't overly salted. Definitely would get this again! - Beef Hamburg with mushroom sauce ($21.99): grilled chopped steak patty with demi glace mushroom sauce. Comes with rice and a potato salad on the side. I think my favorite part was that the steak patty was resting on top of crispy golden fries and the sauce was soaking it all in. This was a pretty big portion. The demi glace is a little sweet but given how hard/long it is to make I thought it was good. Overall this dish was solid. Did we spend a lot of money for dinner? Yes, but we enjoyed it! Would come back again.

We we're lucky to get a table on a recent Friday night. With the many options on the menu, we decided to confine ourselves to the special rolls. The two of us "started" with three and that turned out to be plenty. The Rainforest roll was worth it and the On The Bayou was also especially good. Look for daily specials.
