I came last Monday for my birthday when I heard about their 5 course menu option. It exceeded my expectations! Everything was unique, quality and delicious. Highly recommend. They even were short staffed but still managed to do the 5 course for my bday and quality was not lacking. If you want to try something new and delicious in Bend without the elite that comes with a price tag in so many restaurants in Bend check out Yoli!

Authentic and Inspired are two different meanings, so if you're looking for a homestyle Korean meal, you're not gonna find it here. But don’t worry, the food is still ok and would recommend visiting at least once. I had high hopes after seeing good reviews and the chef’s background, so i was surprised by the service given to me. I grew up with Korean Culture and their food, and it was my first time seeing jjigae without its usual fiery red color and with soft tofu, hotteok shaped like empanadas, and lack of banchan (side dishes) served. They serve 3 different types of kimchi and extra $$$ if you want others. Reading their restaurant description, its definitely upscale korean inspired food, but I could safely say they are made for the Western palette. If you don’t or cant handle spicy, this place is great. If you’re in a rush, service may be slow during busy hours around 1pm. Ambiance is great but parking is difficult. As previously mentioned, the place is upscale so expect upscale prices. TLDR: great for people who want an introduction for fancy Korean food without the spicy stuff and extra sides.

Great flavors, friendly staff, and exceptional value for the quality. Would highly recommend the 5-course option to really dive into the menu. Don’t sleep on the steak! It’s incredible!!

I will NEVER get over how good Yoli is, and how lucky we are to have them. Incredible food, family owned + operated, and such a wonderful meal. The food is amazing. We both did the 5 course meal, it’s $60 per person, and OMG. So much food. Like, kind of insane? And not a quantity > quality situation. It’s…both? Also, an extra wild bonus is that almost everything - including fried things is gluten free AND those without sensitivities/ allergies are none the wiser because it’s all just…great. It’s just a freaking gem, run don’t walk. (The pictures do NOT do it justice).

Best meal I had in Bend. The food here is creative, delicious, and non-pretentious. We got the tasting menu for $60 a person and it was 100% worth it! The corn cheese was probably the standout dish, but the Kalbi SSAM with banchan and the bibimbap were spectacular. I would recommend Yoli to anyone visiting Bend who wants a meal they will remember for a long time. (All photos are dishes ordered off the tasting menu)

Service was good, nice to be able to make reservations. I was a bit disappointed with the Korean food. I felt the fried chicken was more Chinese styled and flavored. I didn't hardly have any nurungji in my Bibimbap and there was a large ratio of rice to meant/veggies. The kimchi was a bit too sweet for my taste. Maybe it was an off night? The food came out promptly and I really enjoyed the jeun.

This place is absolutely amazing. My husband and I have been several times and it's always been ideal for a lunch or dinner spot. We just went for our five year anniversary and did the full chef's tasting menu. It was mind-blowing, both in taste, presentation and creativity. Thank you Yoli for a great experience we'll always remember!

One of the best restaurants in Oregon and certainly the best value of nice restaurants. Had the a5 wagyu dolsot bibimbap. The beef melted in my mouth. The owners are lovely people who always make me and my family feel welcome. Such a great palace.

Wonderful service and food. Recommended to get reservation for the evenings especially around the weekend. They had different types of fresh kimchi With the order of Bibimbap, kimchi Jigaye, kalbi, all of it was more than filling and I can't complain of too much Kimchi either! I'll be back to try out other menu items soon. It was definitely hard to get an evening walk-in during busy days of the week, so a reservation helped. Service was good as well

Friday night dinner with friends. Started with the Yellowtail hwe and the fried cauliflower. Hwe was average, not worth the price IMO. The cauliflower was amazing and probably one of the best dishes all night. Banchans were average, nothing too distinctive. Had the tofu bibimbap. Overall taste was above average, the accompanying sauce helped. Egg was cooked perfect. The bottom of the rice was perfectly crisped without being burnt, tough to pull off but they did it. Waitress was pleasant.

I am THRILLED that this little restaurant was put on my radar by none other than my own critical Korean father, who told me that if I didn't make a stop here while in Bend I would disappoint him (kidding...sort of). And you know that when a Korean dad recommends a Korean restaurant, it usually means it's worth the trip. The highlights: In case you didn't know, the chef behind Yoli has worked for years at high profile restaurants (i.e. Alinea, The French Laundry, Masa, etc.), and has earned the James Beard nomination three times for Best Chef NW. I preface with this info because not only does it deserve to be mentioned, but the culinary experience is evident in the dishes presented here. He and his wife have cultivated a space to share authentic Korean flavors, some dishes also married with less traditional ingredients that lead to really awesome creations. For example, we enjoyed a fois gras dish with strawberry kimchi, Korean passionfruit honey, and gangjeong. We also ordered yukhoe, wagyu beef tartare that is made even more special with Korean pear and wasabi creme fraiche. Of course, we had to also try the Korean fried chicken, which had a delightful crunch and was doused in a just-spicy-enough sticky sauce. Do what we did and order their bultada (fire) sauce on the side, and drizzle it into the juk (mushroom rice porridge), a dish that's tasty on its own, but sparkles when some spicy is added. The improveables: I really had to rack my brain for things this place can improve on. The main issue I had was that the kimchi in the banchan was not spicy! I wanted to blame this on the fact that I had finished a bottle of soju and was maybe a bit less aware of my senses, but I was surprised at the lack of zing with the kimchi. It was fresh with good flavor, but just not what I was expecting. And maybe it was a dud batch. My second improveable is that I wish the fried chicken was bone-in; clearly, this is simply preference because the dish is delicious, but I love cleaning off bones and found myself longing for that experience. Overall, the meal was unique and outstanding, the service was prompt and friendly, and the ambience is lovely. I have heard from some people (mainly Portlanders, admittedly) that the food scene in Bend is lacking. I think that they just need to visit Yoli so they can have their minds changed.

Sooo yummy and great service! High quality food. Definitely recommend. The Korean cauliflower and bulgogi lettuce wraps were our faves.

It is not easy to get a table, unless we want late dinner. Since we could not get in the first time we stopped by, we made a reservation for the next day. We walked along Deschutes river from the south side of Downtown to this restaurant. We were interested in the 5-course menu but were informed that it was not available that day. We had the best Juk (mushroom rice porridge) with runny egg. This rice porridge is the best we ever have. Unfortunately, chef had to leave the restaurant and we could not get our main dishes that we ordered.

I visited Bend for the first time recently which meant that I researched all of the best restaurants in town. Yoli came highly recommended and, as far as I can tell, the chef is the only one in Bend with multiple James Beard Award nominations and experience cooking in multiple Michelin star kitchens. Yoli offers an a la carte dinner menu, a five course tasting menu ($60), and a large chef's tasting menu with 24 hour notice ($135 food, $55 beverage pairing). We were here to celebrate so we got the chef's tasting menu. It was enormous and delicious. Service was very good. Laura, the co-owner, called me a few days in advance to confirm our reservation and plans to get the tasting menu and wine pairing. When we arrived for dinner, she had a table prepared for us right next to the kitchen and with our tasting menu displayed in a frame. She was very attentive and served us all of our courses and wine pairings. We liked getting the tasting menu in advance, along with the wines listed for each course, so that we knew what to expect (plus some surprises). Laura and Chef Joe did an excellent job pacing the courses and drinks, with each one ready exactly when we expected. They were also ready with to-go boxes when they noticed us getting too full. The menu was 9 courses as printed (counting seven gansig appetizer bites as one course) and each course had a beverage pairing. There was also a large selection of banchan and three additional surprise courses: a bread course and two extra desserts. The menu (see photos) describes each dish pretty well. A few highlights were: all of the gansig appetizers, daegu (cod), anju (fried chicken and waffle), tangsuyuk (veal), bread, and ssam (pork). We agreed that our least favorite course was the sujebi (truffle noodle); we didn't care for the gummy pulled noodle texture or the flavors involved. By the time we got to the ssam board, we were extremely full, so we packed up most of the last few courses. I felt a little better when Laura said they expected us to be stuffed at this point. The two bonus dessert courses were an ice cream dessert that included chocolate, banana, and spice cake and then an impressive display of cotton candy (three types: kimchi, pear, and apricot) and five types of petit fours. (Bonus courses did not include beverage pairings.) We were so full at that point that we couldn't help but laugh when not one, but two extra desserts showed up. (I forgot to take a photo of the ssam board but it was huge, with three types of pork and wraps along with the banchan) The ambiance at Yoli is a little plain and industrial (like exposed duct work) but they are doing their best with decorations. I particularly liked the wall with menus from other restaurants the chef has visited or staged at. Overall, we really appreciated our meal at Yoli and Laura and Joe's hospitality. A few pieces of constructive feedback: verbally explain each dish and pairing a little more beyond what is printed on the menu (e.g. some of the cooking techniques involved, why that pairing was chosen, tasting notes for the pairing); a few courses could have been smaller and we would not have felt any less full or less pleased (especially puageula foie gras course); the larger courses could have used larger beverage pours; and desserts were not as strong as the savory courses. All the dishes we saw at other tables also looked delicious and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I will definite visit again the next time in Bend.

As someone who lives in an area with A LOT of Korean restaurants, this was a disappointment. The kimichi jiggae literally tasted like kimchi water. I got the grilled pork belly ssam wraps and they weren't that great either. The grilled taste was too smoky and the pork cut used was heavy on the fat instead of the evenly distributed layered fat cuts that is usually used for this dish. They also serve this was seaweed which we weren't a fan of. The lettuce was semi limp :( The banchan was ok. Overall, I would recommend skipping this place if you're looking for quality Korean food because at this price point ($23 for the pork belly wraps and $7 for kimchi water) and taste, the side dishes shouldn't be better than the main course. Parking is available at the front but it is limited so recommend parking just a bit down at the public parking if you have to eat Korean food.

TLDR: A MUST go for gluten free Korean food Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Ordered the dinner service ($60/person) and that was SO much food. Everything is made gluten free besides 2 items (the crostini with the froie gras & a traditional hand pulled wheat noodle). Our server Anne was SO pleasant and when my significant other asked if everything was gluten free she responded "you are in a safe space here" which is SO relieving to hear for someone with celiac's disease. The attention to our pace of eating, water consumption, and overall meal was very high caliber. Honestly, swore this was a clean and efficiently ran place. Honestly would recommend this place to anybody that's always love Korean food or new to it. Highly recommend the bulgogi Ssam, tteokbokki and kimchi pancakes

Very nice first visit but just did not do it for my tastes. YELP Short Answer: Maybe but there are other options I'd suggest trying first. LOCATION: Not the greatest, on the wrong side of Greenwood. Parking is a hit or miss situation. Find a spot and walk. This location seems to not hold much luck for anyone except the landlord. BUILDOUT: Very nice, tasteful and kind of authentic. It is a little claustrophobic as the windows are opaqued so just feels kind of closed in. MENU: A little confusing, I have had an easier time ordering street food in Korea but I am sure if I return it will be easier. FOOD PREP: Nicely done. FOOD QUALITY: For what we ordered did not like the tastes and the oysters were terrible on our visit. WAITSTAFF: Very nice and like a lot of Bend restaurants, it took 20 minutes to get our bill when we were clearly finished on a not so busy evening. OVERALL VALUE: Not for me, did not think this was worth the visit, sorry, I know they are new but nothing really worked for me. TIP: Ask a lot of questions to make sure you're happy with your order. We did and still we came away disappointed and $100 poorer.

Excellent authentic Korean had the bulgogi and the tequila mockingbird drink. Husband had old fashioned and spicy chicken sandwich. We both had kimchi soup. Very good. Visit from Montana so this was a great.

Went into the meal with zero expectations and no prior knowledge of this place or the chef and was absolutely blown away. Instantly when we walked in we were all extremely impressed at the attention spent to proper sound dampening all over the restaurant from low slung panels over the tables to the giant furry wall art, a VERY welcome change to the loud dining rooms we have become accustomed to in this area. The food was all fantastic, both for myself with some knowledge of Korean cuisine and my parents who had never heard the word "kalbi" before and are often reticent to try new things. Service was exceptional, was not expecting table side presentations and our waitress was extremely attentive and helpful with suggestions and answering questions for my celiac partner (nearly everything on the menu is gluten free or can be made so and they are very conscious of cross contamination) The bill was about 20-30% less than I expected given the quality of the food. Went to use the restroom after the dinner and saw multiple James beard nominations and chefs jackets from Alinea and TFL hanging on the wall, which served to fill in some gaps as to how this meal had blown all of our expectations away in such an extraordinary manner. My parents who are locals and again, had never heard the word 'Kalbi' before this evening, couldn't stop talking about how they can't wait to go back again and try more new things. Absolutely would recommend and will be visiting again!

One of the best meals we've had in recent memory. Yoli is the best and my biggest regret is not eating here every day on our Bend trip. We ordered the caviar juk, kimchi bread, ssam samgyeopsal, sesame oil cake, korean cauliflower, and raspberry wine. Everything was delicious but the highlights were the caviar juk (probably top ten things I've had the pleasure of putting in my moth) and the kimchi bread. There are really two vibes you can do at Yoli: 1) fine dining or 2) pocha bar food. We did a mixture of both, but will probably opt for one or the other next time. If you go pocha style, the korean cauliflower is great and they also have a "porthole" of peach kombucha and fruit infused soju that looks amazing.

I think it's good for Bend, but I frequented Korean food in k-town in Los Angeles and it is very different. Place was nice, service was great!!

A much anticipated addition to the Bend culinary scene, Yoli serves up Korean cuisine from the kitchen of a former Fusion 5 chef. It's located downtown in the space formerly occupied by Bad Wolf Bakery and Bistro and Alpenglow Cafe (and others, I forget) next to Super Burrito on the corner of Wall and Greenwood. The proprietors have done up the space quite nicely. You'll probably need reservations. Menu is definitely Korean-inspired with such standards as bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi jjigae and of course, various banchan. We were there for lunch which offers a slightly different menu. - Spicy Dak Saendeuwichi (spicy fried chicken sandwich): Not quite like the Korean fried chicken I've had in other places (not in Bend), Yoli's seems like a Korean version of the southern classic Nashville sandwich. And it's very good, even if a bit unwieldy as a sandwich (I ended up using a knife & fork). Packs a good bit of heat. The sandwich comes with an interesting and, for me, unique take on a potato salad side. If you like Nashville's try this one. - Dubu Bi Bim Bap: a tofu version of the classic. The menu bills it as 'spicy tofu' but it really isn't all that spicy. Huge serving, even for lunch. While good, Yoli's version could use a kick. Maybe more of the sauce it comes with. - Sides: spicy fried cauliflower - excellent; corn cheese - very good and unusual. - Set lunch: our tablemates ordered set lunchs which looked good and garnered compliments. Unlike the other lunch items, they come with three banchan. That's what I'm ordering next time I stop in for lunch. When I come here for dinner, the kimchi jjigae (kimchi soup) is an automatic order for me. Several other mains look interesting. Yoli has a liquor license and offers creative cocktails plus beer/wine. Also some unusual non-alcoholic drinks, such as the kwangdong ginseng. Service is impeccable. And the utensils are awesome! I really like the utensils. I don't normally award five stars to a new restaurant but I've been waiting for good Korean food for a while and Yoli fills the bill. Mind you, they aren't the only game in town (5 Fusion, Spork, Bend-O Bento, a truck over at Podski I think), just the only proper Korean-specific sit-down restaurant that I know of). It's not quite what I've experienced in big cities - such as at the many Korean joints along Buford Highway in Atlanta - but Yoli's take on the cuisine is welcome. Highly recommended.

If you are in Bend and are looking for a fun delicious spot to eat... look no further Yoli is an amazing dinning experience with the most delectable food and fantastic service. My boyfriend and I went while visiting bend and ordered the 5 course meal where you could select what you wanted from the specialty menu. We ordered the; Yukhoe 9/10 Yellowtail Hwe 8/10 Kimchi Jjigae 9/10 Tteok Bokki 9/10 Korean fried cauliflower 10/10 Crispy octopus 10/10 Bulgogi 9/10 Kalbi steak 10/10 Upside down hotteok 9/10 Everything was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor and spice. You won't regret coming here, you will have full glasses wonderful service and even better food. Leaving full and happy

First time in Bend, OR. I came in around 6 pm without reservation and was told there was no table until 8 pm. So, I ended up ordering takeout. The Wagyu beef (from Australia) was not as tender as I expected but still tasty with great flavoring using gremolata. The portion of kimchi fingerling potatoes were overwhelming large and the Banchan which I love came in a very small amount. If they have given me abundance of Banchan, I would have awarded them 5-star rating. I would assume the table service will come with unlimited supply of six Banchan selection.

This place is incredible! Service 10/10 Food 10/10. The flavors and spice pallette is spot on. Parking situation is not my favorite, but if we plan for an early dinner it works. We visit yoli twice a month. Love this lil spot for a date night.

So...we came hear with really high hopes since there aren't enough Asian restaurants in Bend. But alas, we were beyond disappointed. Our whole table ordered the 5 course menu so we could taste a little bit of everything. It is a bit pricey but thought it would be an exciting adventure. But boy were we wrong! The presentation was nice but the flavors were sooo off. It was definitely NOT Korean food. Almost every dish was loaded with too much sugar, with the true Korean flavors being undetectable. The raw fish appetizers were not bad, the spicy salmon tasted pretty good and the kimchi Jun was decent. The cheesy corn was not right...they used cheddar cheese instead of the traditional mozzarella, making it too sour and sharp. The kimchi jigae was more like watered down miso soup with a couple bits of kimchi, the japchae was soupy and again, too sweet. The first bites of the cauliflower was good but quickly got too rich bc again, it was way too sweet. We got the bibimbap, samgyeopsal (pork belly), galbi, and bulgogi. I agree with the other reviews that the Bibimbap was good, but it was definitely not 'authentic Korean.' The pork belly was not cooked properly --the flavor and texture of the the fat was not right. The bulgogi was decent, but again too sweet. The flavors were not complex, just sugary. Also the dishes were called ssam which means the lettuce is the main way to eat it, but the lettuce leaves were limp and wilted. As far as the dessert was concerned, the hotteok was not anything like the real Korean pastry, just greasy over-fried pieces of dough with a sauce made with some stringy vegetables. While we understand that this restaurant is trying to focus on being "unique and innovative" it falls short of being considered Korean cuisine. Maybe it would be better if they called it fusion cuisine so as not to mislead customers into thinking they're getting traditional Korean food? The thing that topped it off was 2 out 4 of us got sick, and ended up vomiting as soon as we got home. The reason we give it 2 stars is bc of the nice decor, ambiance, and service.

Let's face it. Bend, although a great city for culinary experiences, has limited Asian choices. Because of that, Yoli has a large gap to fill. We are experienced foodies that have been to lots of Korean restaurants over the years, different kind of Korean styles... so as such, my first advice to you is: when you visit Yoli, please set your expectations right. Read on. This is a nice place- visually beautiful, kind of fancy, a nice clean interior, comfortable chairs that look like they're Eames-inspired. No musty smells, no stench, clean floors, good lighting with warm color temperature, a pleasant cost ambiance that is good for dates, during which people can actually converse with each other without having to shout. Quiet background music that I didn't even pay attention to. The food itself is very clean, well prepared- but as I hinted already above, more of a fusion taste than a hardcore authentic Korean taste, I would say. Set your expectations right. They do use the right set of sauces and flavors. Good quality ingredients. Wine list was nice but we ordered by the glass and selection was good- about $15 per wine glass on average, acceptable price I would say. Didn't drink Soju but their selection was also decent. Also they had a large list of South Korean lager beers, like Hite, Cass etc. And one local IPA for people like myself lol. A good selection of teas that they steep for you in a fancy teapot. Also they offer flat or sparkling water, in nice bottles. Cool. To be honest I would have definitely given them 5 stars to give them a boost (which they deserve) but I was a bit upset that they were so stingy with their Banchan small plates. We got our appetizers (yukkae, pancake - see my pix) and then our main dishes arrived, and we still had not seen any Banchan so my family was already kind of baffled... and I had to go ahead and request it. When we finally got it, it was kind of a tiny quantity, we were surprised because we were 4 people. And when we eat Korean food we are accustomed to always get a generous amount of Kimchi, Kkakdugi, Kongnamul-muchim, etc... basic fundamental elements. And also I had seen other pix on Yelp and Google- I knew they served other people much fuller Banchan plates, and those were merely 1 or 2 person groups... We ordered some of their priciest items on the menu so we felt it was kind of odd, to be honest. I hope they do read their reviews so they can fix this small detail, small issue- be generous with the Banchan, as it's a Korean custom, integral part of the Korean Experience (yes, with capital E). I had the Australian Wagyu, with bone marrow covered with some kind of green pesto sauce (that I would have preferred to not have as I like the marrow with a bit of salt only) and kimchi potatoes, with a small accent of kelp salad, and a side of white rice (purple Korean rice was not provided as an option but the white rice was excellent). My steak was well prepared, and very tasty and flavorful. When I read the word "wagyu", it automatically sets a very high bar or expectation as a "super tender marbled texture"; this wasn't as tender- it was more like a really high quality flavorful sirloin. Very satisfying, even if it didn't quite melt in my mouth. Like I said- set the right expectations here, to be happy! Yoli is an awesome choice while in Bend, it can help satisfy your cravings for Korean flavor.

Excellent food with reasonable prices. Interesting drink menu. Friendly service! No complaints!

The portion was small given the price. Food was a bit salty and too much sauce. The eggplant dish is really a rice cake dish with eggplant as garnish. The salmon dish has two really small pieces of salmon (slightly over cooked) and half place of sauce. Waitress was busy entertaining another table and ignored us for most of the time.

well it could've been good but, I would NEVER order the steak again. I ordered it last night and ended up putting at least half of the attempted chewed up chunks back on my plate. Sinewy grissly awful stuff. I have no idea where on earth they got that meat but it was not chewable. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals ok. The cauliflower appetizer was amazing. But do yourself a favor. Don't order that steak!

Yoli is always one of our top 5 restaurants we recommend when dining out in Bend. There's nothing we've had that hasn't been short of spectacular, but particularly recommend the Fried Cauliflower, Fried Octopus, Kalbi Steak, and Bibimbap. Add a 54oz bottle of OB Pilsner and you're walking out full for under $100 for two. The service is always superb as well. So happy to have them still in Bend!

Yoli was the best dinner we had in Bend! The first night we walked in, we were silly thinking we'd get a table. This is 'reservation only' on an evening (especially on the weekends) and for good reason. What a fantastic Korean restaurant with top notch food, great service, and nice vibe for a special meal. I ordered the Tteok Bokki as a starter which was enough to satisfy 3 adults easily. The main course was a generously sized Bibimbap served hot and fresh. I had a full meal of leftovers. The Old fashioned (pictured) was gorgeous and tasty (highly recommend). 10/10 - this is a must try if you're in the area.

Kicking ourselves that we've lived here 1 1/2 years and only just dined at Yoli. What an amazing meal - the highest caliber food, fabulous service with the perfect tone of personal and professional, and it's all right downtown. Our group of 4 ordered the multi-course tasting menu (ridiculously well priced at $60pp) and as such we were able to sample almost the entire menu between our orders. Every single item had its own depth of flavor, heat, etc. Beautiful presentations, generous proportions, a vast spectrum of tastes. Nice wine list, too! Truly the definition of 'hidden gem'! (...oh yes... do not skip on the house made ice creams. Crazy crazy good.)

Food is NOT at all near-authentic Korean. Not sure if the cooks have ever been to a real Korean restaurant, but aside from using Korean ingredients, this is not authentic Korean cuisine, which is 95% different and so much better/different. This is not how Korean food should taste! Service was great!! Well done, therefore the extra large tip. I would recommend Yoli for the service all day long, but not the food.

We were looking for a slightly more upscale restaurant in Bend, as most restaurants here are casual. Having just visited Seoul, South Korea, I thought it would be nice to see what they could offer for Korean cuisine. Needless to say, we were blown away by the incredible taste of Yoli. From the Wagyu Tartare and Tuna Hwe to the cleverly crafted cocktails, their menu hit on every level. What an awesome experience, highly recommend!

Yoli is officially my new favorite place in Bend! The food is inventive, flavorful, mostly gluten free, and DELICIOUS! The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and just the right amount of attention. The space is spotless. I loved EVERYTHING

Yoli is a cool hip and trendy newer Bend restaurant. It's sometimes hard to get a seat as it's still fairly popular and doesn't have a lot of seating. It's definitely on the pricier side but let's be honest it's Bend in 2023. We pay a premium for everything here even if it isn't good. Yoli has a fun and creative menu with excellent service considering the staff shortages that everyone is having. We will definitely be back for a "special" date night as we really enjoy the experience they provide. If it's traditional Korean food your looking for I'd call this more of a playful fusion so set your expectations and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Food was great. Did the tasting menu and was happy with everything that came out. Liked the crispy octopus and corn. Service was warm and they did a great job explaining the dishes.

I was rather surprised when we walked in and there were only 4 tables full and was told we needed reservations. I looked around and said- really? He went and checked with someone and then said he could get us a table. The food was very flavorful. Small portions. A bit expensive for the amount. I will go back. I would like to try other items on the menu.

This is a true gem to have in Bend. The food and service are amazing. Not only is the food selection broad, but interesting. It is easy to get a lot of plates to share and experience fine cuisine.

I'm SUPER glad bend is expanding its Asian options. However, as someone who eats fairly authentic Korean food at least once a week, this place was fairly hit was miss -- but would recommend if you're craving Asian food when passing/visiting central Oregon. Vibes: 5/5 - clean, modern, and super cute ceramics! Kimchi bread and butter: 4.5/5. One of our favorites. Nice soft bread and super yummy kimchi butter. We didn't like the sesame butter though - it was too vegetal with underbites of bitterness Kimchi pancake (jeon) - 5/5 probably my favorite for the night Kimchi jiggae - 3/5; this was essentially Miso soup with some kimchi. I didn't mind it, but it's not the hot steaming jiggae that I'm usually used to. Seems like if you have kimchi and miso you can make this soup fairly easily Teok bukki (spicy rice cakes) - 4/5. I enjoyed this but the sauce was definitely too gochujong forward and lacked the sweetness. Also no fish cakes which is my favorite part of this dish generally Ssam - 4/5 we got the kalbi ssam, would recommend, although I didn't love the seaweed wrap. Still very enjoyable though Gnocchi - 2/5, this dish was pretty bad :/ I don't know what happened but I didn't realize "gnocchi" was the Korean rice cakes. The sauce with the eggplant tasted good but when you add rice cake to the mix it ruined it. I'm not sure if this dish is there to suit the western palate or something but the sauce tasted like a mediocre pan Asian sauce. Dessert hoddeuk - 2/5, I also didn't enjoy it. This was whipped cream, over fried dough, and cinnamon poached pear. The over fried texture (hard$ of the dough didn't really go with the goeyness of the fruit. Flavor was okay, although I'm fairly biased and don't think cinnamon flavored fruit should be in most Asian dishes haha. But I know that's my personal bias

Love the SSAM! Great food but a bit too pricey. Could easily reduce by $5-7 per dish. Ambiance is fancyish, not for kids. Service is pro.

Excited to have been invited out to this gem! Fun specialty drinks and glasses - yummy! The cauliflower appetizer was so flavorful - just enough spice. Entree was also scrumptious We will be back!

Amazing hot stone bowls. More than just great food, something amazing about a well crafted atmosphere. With crispy grilled rice. So good.

I had the ssam with kalabi and it was incredibly good, tons of flavor exploding in my mouth, my sister had the bib Im bap which was also really good. The service here is excellent and it is also reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend this, oh, and try the Korean apple soda, it was delicious.

I was so excited to see a Korean restaurant in bend, but this place is another fusion restaurant. We ordered the cauliflower, ddukbokki, bibimbap, and grilled pork belly and everything was good, it just isn't the authentic Korean experience I was hoping for. The ddukbokki for example, is stir-fried with kimchi, which is just not right If you're okay with fusion Asian food, you should give it a try!

Unique take on Korean classics, can't wait to tray again. The short ribs, scallion pancake and salmon were standouts.

Crazy we live in Bend and have never heard of this place. My parents from the valley came over to treat me for a bday lunch. Classy and quaint inside. Windows are filmed over, so you won't be able to see inside/outside. Customer service is top notch! They accommodated my no seafood/fish oil request (above and beyond) even bringing me a sample of vegetarian kimchi. Food was quality (all freshly made), and the price for the food and beverages was surprisingly not bad at all considering location and inflation! Coffee here is amazing. The fried cauliflower is a must order! I ordered bulgogi lettuce wraps, it was so good. It came with red leaf lettuce. Would be even better with a crispier type like romaine, iceberg or living butter lettuce as it holds more of the filling. We are so happy to see a new cuisine option in Bend. Please advertise your business more! This place is a gem and would love to see it succeed. We will definitely return.

I am a Korean. I have lived in America for 30 years and I am a Japanese cook. This is not a place that sells traditional Korean food.However, it is a place where there is a chef who makes food using Korean-style seasoning and its taste.Personally, I felt that it was a fresh challenge to the Korean taste and the taste was pretty good.

This is an Asian-style bistro, not a Korean restaurant. The miniature lunch serving of bulgogi was sickly sweet and overly salty at the same time. The kimchee tofu soup used too-fresh kimchee and no tofu. The spicy chicken burger was tasty but not particularly Korean. Prices are very reasonable. Service was fine. Ambiance is hard to pin down - vaguely asian with rock and roll music.

Wow. I never write reviews but I am writing this to express my love and appreciation for this fine restaurant. As diners three times over, from their opening to the present, every experience has been extremely memorable. The food is incredible, unique, and elevated - and the service? Impeccable. Last night my husband and I started off with cocktails: Ulsan Sour and Jujube Old Fashioned. Both hit the spot and were unique twists on the classics. For our starters, we enjoyed the Yukhoe, Caviar Ppang, and Mandu (a special dumpling offered that evening). The Caviar Ppang really stood out though all were tasty first bites. With perfect timing we were brought our mains, the Oli (duck breast) and the Ssam with Bulgogi. This is the best duck I've had in my life! Great flavor and absolutely amazing texture. Cooked to perfection! Highly recommend. The Ssam Bulgogi had a pleasant sweetness that paired perfectly with the banchan- our favorites were the three varying types of house made kimchee. We didn't have room for dessert this time but will definitely be back soon to explore their varied menu and the unique flavors only found at Yoli. Thank you to their amazing staff. Bend is lucky. A must try! Side note: the negative reviews I've seen mostly complain about the food not being "authentic Korean." Well, they don't claim to be "authentic Korean" as is clearly stated on their website. They are proudly a fusion-type restaurant inspired by Korean flavors. That's what makes them so special. And it works. I encourage you to try something new and enjoy.

This is a hidden gem in Bend, the Yoli team is exceptionally courteous and attentive. We have dined here several times and each occasion the cuisine was amazing, consistent quality. If you haven't dined here give it try you won't be disappointed.

Lovely food and drinks. Authentic flavors and filling in a big gap we had in Bend's food scene. Kimchi is bomb!!! Was underwhelmed by the dessert choices though

Best Korean food we've ever had outside of Koreatown in L.A. Was absolutely thrilled to find this restaurant in Bend. It was a good value too, which these days is getting harder and harder to find. Will definitely be back.

Best restaurant in Bend. I'm not Korean but I've travelled there and I lived in LA so I am very familiar with Korean cuisine. This is spectacular Korean food and the presentation and service are Michelin level. Outstanding Korean Fine Dining in a relaxed atmosphere.

Had a great lunch here. Japchae, scallion pancake and ssam, with banchan. All very delicious and fresh. Very extensive lunch menu with lots of vegetarian options, too.
