"After your first visit to the Dekalb Farmers Market in Decatur, all other grocery stores will seem incredibly dull. This massive market is always packed, so be prepared to pivot like Pac-Man to get your hands on those snap peas you need. But there is also an opportunity to snag hard-to-find-in-Atlanta produce like guinep and rambutan. So even if you have a strict grocery list, build in time to peruse the spice shelves, meat cases with everything from chicken to rabbit, and seafood corner with live fish, lobster, and crab swimming around in giant tanks. But our favorite area is the prepared food section, where we stock up on tubs of curry almond chicken salad and quinoa tabbouleh. Just remember, credit cards are a no-go here, so bring your debit or cold, hard cash for your haul." - Juli Horsford

This is one of the reason why I love living in the Atlanta area. I’ve been going to this farmers market since the late 90s and it never disappoints. The market is very consistent about the quality of their vegetables, fruit, meats, and baked goods. It never disappoints! I absolutely love their Italian chicken sausage, cheese, fruits, and vegetables. It’s not the posh Whole Foods grocery store; however, it always has the most challenging ingredients I need when preparing meals. The spice wall is amazing and has any spice that my heart desires. There is meat section that offers some of the most unusual selection of proteins. A fish market , wine area, and different types of flours to prepare just about anything you can think of. This place is an experience and one of my favorite places in town. The staff is generally polite; however, certain times of the year this place is very BUSY and not the most organized when it is time to check out during those times.

Google
Great selection. However, prices are very comparable to the grocery store. They only take cash, ebt, and debit... no credit, which is not very convenient for many people, especially business owners who use their business credit for purchases.

Google
My favorite place for all my eats. I always find the fruit or special spices I’m looking for. Fresh cut meat is a plus. Great selections all the time.

Google
Everything you want from rices to spices. Fresh vegetables and fruit. Fresh fish. Lobster and crab. Cheese from many different countries. Many different pastas. Take and bake entrees. And a very nice bakery. So glad I found this place. But make sure you wear a jacket. They keep it at 62 degrees. Quite chilly.

Google
Came from Virginia just to come here! (Not really…but it was the highlight of the trip!) We loved perusing the aisle and seeing all the wonderful fruits and veggies we’d never been able to find before. The prices were excellent. Stocked up on spices and loose leaf tea. Baked goods were also wonderful. As others have said- wear a jacket!

11.5.2024 - Shopped here. I just love this place, and try to go anytime I am on that side of town. I didn't buy much this time. I was told years ago that "You are not allowed to take photos inside of the market."

Dekalb Farmers Market is a great surprise for our family. After living overseas in the United Arab Emirates and moving back to the United States, it is great to have a place where we can enjoy in international exposure in Georgia. We were delighted to smell the aroma of spices and see familiar foods we were exposed to authentically overseas. From fresh fruits, hummus, fresh vegetables and meats, you can find a wide variety of natural foods to eat healthy and explore your taste buds. Bring a light jacket to use in the meats and dairy section of the market. You can get in some exercise walking up and down the aisles looking at and selecting food and also checking out all the flags of countries from around the world. We loved hearing people speak in different languages and dressing in their home country attire. Even though there were a lot of people, it didn’t feel over crowded and we were always able to get to the food items we wanted. There is more than enough food for everyone to select what you need. The staff was friendly and the process at the meats and checkout stations were efficient. Go check out the Dekalb Farmers Market. It is worth driving over to it from wherever you live.

Google
You can find all you need here at this farmers market. Sunday mornings are the busiest but when it’s time to check out, there are multiple cashiers; so you can go in and get out in a decent time.

Yelp
I love this place. The United Nations of grocery stores. If they don't have it, you don't need it. Amazing seafood, Scottish salmon, trout, Arctic char, every shellfish and every kind of fish. The meat market is just overwhelming. So many choices. Fresh ground you name it. The bakery is also great and then, there are the fresh, fresh fruit and vegetables. They have everything and a lot of fruits and vegetables you have never heard of. Hard to believe anyone ever goes to a grocery store when you can go here. And on a Sunday at 1:00, you get the feeling everyone else from every other country living in Atlanta had the agrees with me. We were nearly in shopping cart gridlock but the groceries and the rollicking mass of international humanity almost created a party atmosphere and almost everyone was accommodating and friendly. . And the checkout was just amazingly well organized. Once again, I love this place. Atlanta loves this place. You will love this place.,

Yelp
Here I go again... another successful trip to what they describe as the best grocery store in the state of GA. I can't argue with that statement. Hands down on selection it will win. But we are back trying to visit before the holiday chaos and it was smooth. Prices are sort of on par with all prices for groceries so it comes down to selection for me at times. I got my meats, produce, spices and dried goods. Was in and out, parking was easy and plentiful. Checkout was smooth so... Yeah. I like DFM.

Rachel G.

Yelp
What an experience! Don't be in a hurry. Come ready to explore and spend some money on some very unique items. I wish I lived closer and I cannot believe when I lived in Atlanta I didn't go here. The spices alone are worth the trip, which is really what we went for. So many unique items. It's just really fun to look around.

Yelp
YDFM used to be a one-stop shop. Now you have to read the ingredients, favorite items have disappeared & the prices are astronomical! ADDITIVES Unhealthy additives have been added to some prepared foods. Red Velvet cake contains ADHD & cancer causing Red Dye 40. The seaweed salad is made with (neurotoxin) MSG. HIGH PRICES Ex. the price of "organic" fresh-pressed juices doubled but the word "organic " is no longer listed in the ingredients. Juices were discounted 50% after one day, now it's 20%. It takes even longer for the lemon and lime juice to be reduced. YDFM charges for trash! The outside leaves of a cabbage should be free. Instead, the cost increased from $.19 lb to double! Small pineapples were $1.99, now they're $3.99. It's peeled for free & the pineapple core and skin are discarded, unless you want it. Then it's $.19 per lb! Chicken prices also increased exponentially. DISSAPPEARING ACTS Gone are the full fat Fage yogurt, unpasteurized cheese and free samples of nut butter. The restaurant which offered delicious, healthy food ($6 per lb.) closed permanently after COVID. Now YDFM charges 3x as much for the same refrigerated, (less fresh) items in the deli. There used to be a variety of inexpensive Ceylon teas with a few high end blends. Now most teas are luxury, as much as $95.39 per lb. YDFM no longer sells organic bell peppers so you can have pesticides along with high prices. Where's the money going? In 10 years, the only improvements are a re-paved parking lot and a small outdoor courtyard for staff. TIPS Cash or debit only and prices increase on the weekend. Don't assume prepared food is healthy, read the ingredients! A few fresh (unpasteurized) juices made me really sick so make sure the tops are completely sealed. Google EWG's Dirty Dozen for a list of produce highest in pesticides. Buy everything else conventional (non-organic) to save $$. MY MUST HAVES (moderately priced or only at YDFM) 1) seasonings & Masala tea, 2) fresh pineapple, 3) plantains, 5) fresh squeezed lemon juice, 5) canned coconut milk & organic pumpkin, 6) unsweetened kefir, 7) white cheese, 8) granola w/out added sugar, 9) chia, hemp, gluten free flour, and 10) select fresh produce/herbs such as cilantro, basil, brussel sprouts, ginger, turmeric, beets & celery. CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES (for everything else) 1. Aldi - best prices and quality. Cheap bananas, avocados, tomatoes, carrots, organic kale, English cucumbers, mushrooms, hormone free milk, (high-fructose corn syrup free) ice-cream, chips (without MSG), antibiotic free chicken & grass fed beef. BYOB (bag) or rent a cart for $.25. Open till 8 pm. 2. Sam's Club - membership required but they have good deals on organic spinach and apples, bell peppers, potatoes, cherry tomatoes, wild salmon. 3. Costco - (membership required) chicken wings, fish 4. Kroger - organic bell peppers ($$$), occasionally large avocados go on sale (app required), organic canned goods. 5. Lidl - more $ than Aldi, rarely cheaper than Kroger but carts are free. Some deals on limes & tomatoes. 6. Publix - only if desperate. Honestly, they may be more than the Farmers Market, it's practically a Whole Foods! Walmart - does not make the list. Unless you want to spend Whole Foods prices for far less quality! SUM Unless you don't mind spending $40 for two small bags of groceries, YDFM is only recommended for seasonings, grains, select produce and the occasional splurge. For bargain shoppers, the juice ain't worth the squeeze!

Yelp
This is by far my favorite farmers market in the entire country thus far. I live in Florida but I make sure to visit this market whenever I'm in Georgia. They have the broadest spice collection I've ever seen. So many delicious basket items and a vast array of fresh produce. The prices on dragon fruit are amazing and the pricing on ....honestly everything is amazing. The seafood and butcher section have so many options to choose from and so many cuts. This place is perfect for my adhd brain and I'm getting overwhelmed just thinking about the options lol. I love this place It has a good sized crowd but nothing too crazy. Average noise level and the cashier process is pretty quick. Ample parking

Tamanna G.

Yelp
Always the best coffee and best value. They have wide variety international grocery. The produce is always fresh and seasonal. They have a huge spice section with many whole and ground spices. They have a wide variety of wine and soda. The market is fairly crowded on the weekends. Their bakery has some amazing pastries and tarts. They also sell pre cooked meals, salads, pizza dough etc which are great help for cooking. They have a huge selection of meats and sea food. They have a dedicated section for international cheese. I highly recommend checking it out when in the area. The facility is clean and busy. The staff is helpful, fast and polite. This is a culturally diverse staff so be mindful of the interactions. They also have fresh pressed juices, cut fruits and veggies, sprouts and tofu/tempeh. There is ample of parking for free in their private lot. Wednesdays are usually quieter and produce is freshly stocked.

Pat H.

Yelp
They just have an amazing selection of every kind of food you can think of! Always fresh and they have all kinds of ingredients from all over the world! Only note make sure you take a coat. It's usually cold in there.

Ahmad W.

Yelp
I went on 10/23/2024. I haven't been in awhile. I got some delicious dessert. 2 small sweet potato pies $4.00 each and 2 slices of pound cake regular and marble like $1.97 each. Fresh and delicious.

Cindy B.

Yelp
Great organic produce, organic bread, and humanely raised meats. You can find anything here The place is huge and has customers from every nationality. The atmosphere can be crazy busy sometimes so I recommend the weekdays. Checkout is very efficient.

Stacy S.

Yelp
I went here under the assumption it was just your regular ol' farmers market. Boy was I wrong! This is the most incredible grocery store I've ever been to! They offer things I've never seen before, but most of it isn't even brand name! They get things directly and avoid manufacturers altogether, packaging things in plain containers and bags at an extremely reduced rate than what you'd find with a brand name on it at a store. On top of that, they have people there making all sorts of fresh foods, from pastas, pizzas, breads, pastries, and more! You'll find things from all sorts of countries. You'll see all cultural backgrounds doing their shopping here because the selection is so diverse. Everything is clean, organized, and the employees are very helpful. And chefs from the Food Network are often spotted here, so you know it's high quality!

Kiran T.

Yelp
This is a very spacious grocery store with cafeteria for organic produce and specialty foods which is popular on weekends. Located at the intersection of East Ponce De Leon Ave. and Laredo Drive, 2 miles inside of I-285 off of Exit #40 (East Ponce De Leon). Store hours 9 AM to 9 PM Daily. Inside the store you will find a Bakery, Beer & Wine, Coffee Shop, Cheese & Dairy, Deli Department, Floral Department, International Products, Kitchen Gadgets, Meat Department, variety Foods, Pastry Shop, Produce, Seafood, Recycling Center, and many more. Lots of free parking available in front of the store. Found product that I have never seen at local grocery stores. Quality and prices are better here compare to other palces. I have spent almost 2 hours taking it all in, amazing value, quality and selection. The staff are all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This market is a must see to experience it. Don't forget to try the coffee and pastries. You can locate anything you need to stock your kitchen properly with fresh goods. Be prepared for the crowded atmosphere. Even though the shopping experience is crowded and hectic, the checkout is fast, efficient and easy peesy. If you are in the area please do visit.

Ashley T.

Yelp
I was hoping for a wider selection of organic fruits and vegetables, but the options were limited. It's a great place to buy fresh produce in bulk. There were plenty of staff around, but nobody spoke to me until I got to the register. The store definitely has a global feel, with flags from various countries hanging from the ceiling, which adds a nice touch.

Amber E.

Yelp
I finally made my way to this Farmers Market! I enjoyed my experience here and seeing so much variety of fruit and vegetables. They also have lots of seasonings for the cheapest prices! There's fresh food, hot food, cold food and more. I'm excited to go back.

Yelp
When we lived in GA, many moons ago -- we weren't plant-based then, but did eat healthy and organic when we could, and shopped often at various farmers' markets when they'd pop-up in various towns -- we discovered DeKalb Farmers Market in Decatur. We loved it, and went often. (There was no Yelp! back then.) Anyway, I've always considered it as one of the great international markets I've been to around the world (from Barcelona to Melbourne, to Vietnam; even to San Francisco and Los Angeles). Well, over a dozen years later, we returned: It was like we'd been there last week!!! :D The place hasn't changed! Massive and loaded with all sorts of meats, seafood, vegetables, breads, cheeses, milk, and everything else that this international market was and is all about! The only major change is that the old food court apparently didn't make it through the COVID pandemic; it was simply an empty kitchen space. :( (And we were SOOOOO hungry!!!) :P That said, the entire place is a cornucopia of food delights!!! Despite the demise of the food court, Your DeKalb Farmers Market is still the best in GA, hands-down...!!! :D

Kevin H.

Yelp
Dekalb Farmers Market, outside of Atlanta, GA. Food: This is a serious farmers market offering everything from fresh meats and poultry, fresh vegetables along with pastries, beer, wine and seafood. Service: vendors were friendly and very helpful, they were patient as we hand picked your meats and offered good suggestions. Ambiance: This place is huge, there is plenty of parking however can still be crowded. Be patient as the walk ways can get congested. Checkout is well identified and organized which makes several buggies crashes not seem so bad.

Rachel J.

Yelp
Fresh juices, good seasonal and exotic fruits. Can find organic too. Sugarcane & pineapple juices

Erica E.

Yelp
I feel like everytime I go outside, I find a new reason to love this amazing city. A new reason to add to the millions I have, is this amazing market. I've always preferred a local market to the bigger chains for so many reasons and Dekalb Farmers Market reminded me of that. It's been on my list to come here for like, ever, and I finally stayed away from the other grocery stores long enough to have a list needing to be fulfilled. So I ventured over on a Friday, as I'm sure that the weekends are bananas, and I was really in for a treat. Even after looking at pics and TikTok hauls from the market, I didn't realize how huge it really is. The parking lot is that of a Walmart almost! I parked my car a few lanes from the door, grabbed my reusable Yelp tote bags and went on my way. When I walked in, my eyes got HUGE. Sensory overload for just a moment. There were so many folks moving about (but I didn't feel crowded!), so many sounds, so many colors of fruits and veggies - I had to take a moment to collect myself. There's just, so much! The produce section is right at the front so I took the time to grab my produce needs and walk down every single aisle to see the goods lol. (I love grocery shopping, I'd spend all day in there) I grabbed all the produce I needed + a few extras that stood out to me like the Chinese eggplant, raw peanuts (for boiling) and a few other items. Before I knew it, I had visited every single department/aisle just enjoying the journey. From incredibly cheap spices, dozens of seafood and meat options, an extensive aisle full of premade meals and even a bakery department that would make Publix weep, DFM is IT. Also, the team there is so efficient! Everywhere I turned, there were employees stocking items and assisting customers. Going into the cashiers area was wild because I was wondering how they were getting all these carts and people out of the store lol. I ended up picking up 2 bottles of wine, 1lb of wild shrimp, a loaf of bread, fresh pasta, 2 new spices to try and over a dozen produce items which were mostly organic for less than $65! Dekalb Farmers Market, you have a new fanatic in me.

Frank R.

Yelp
To pricey for what's actually there. You can find all of the same items in other markets close by. It gets a lower rating for me because we went for the baked goods and both the croissants and muffins we bought were mislabeled and we were not happy with what we got in return.

Latonya J.

Yelp
Enjoy shopping here! Full of diversity, options, and variety. I enjoy getting fresh bakery items, fresh produce, and fresh seafood. The Coffee and baked pastries are good too!

Valerie W.

Yelp
Took a trip down to Atlanta during the week between Christmas and New Years and THIS was my one "must see" destination. Luckily my cousin is just as much (if not more) of a fan of this type of market as I am. I wasn't sure WHAT to expect, was thinking it might be more of a "fancy-pants/tourist trap" kind of market, but boy way I wrong!!! I would weirdly be content to wander the lushly stocked produces aisles, the floor to ceiling "shelves of mystery," and imagine myself in some VERY far off LANDS, where everything, even a package of rice, tea, dried fruit, spices... ALWAYS seems MUCH more exotic!! I planned 1,001 meals in my head, wandering through each and every aisle, and WISHED I wasn't flying home so I'd be able to fill my cart with all sorts of exotic TREATS I'd never find here in my corner of Ohioooooooooo!! What a wonderful resource for this community, both newcomers and long-time residents alike!! Fresh meat and fish, rows and rows of fresh bread, tempting pastries, prepared meals, gorgeous produce and so much more!! You'll ALMOST feel like you need a passport just to shop here... What a WONDERFUL place!! Don't MISS it, if you're in the area!!

John B.

Yelp
It's an interesting sort of business I hadn't seen before. A large warehouse with a focus on produce. While the call it a farmers market, they didn't say it was local, and a lot of the produce was Californian. There were a lot of non-fresh items like cooking oils and dried beans, but the focus was on produce and there was a lot of it, including things you wouldn't have an easy time finding like baby bok choy. It was a very international place, both in the products and the customers as well. They did not take credit, and when I offered cash, they forgave me a few cents to make it easy.

Angie M.

Yelp
This place has everything! And it's so inexpensive!!! I was like a kid in a candy store looking at all the varieties for produce they have. My only wish is that they had more in their Asian selection. Super busy- but if you are friendly people will also be friendly. If you are a cook- this place is the place to be.

Yesenia B.

Yelp
Parking was easy They everything you could possibly need on the meat, veggies and nuts section. Not much for nonperishables They do not accept credit cards It was very very crowded, definitely not a place to go and explore people will run you over with their carts.

Ambirr M.

Yelp
The food was mid and the service didn't give friendly or southern hospitality it was a nightmare on elm street then they kept letting us know we couldn't taste or try the food very horrific experience I'll never be back

Chevon B.

Yelp
If it was possible I'd give them 7 stars. This place is my new obsession here in Georgia. It's as if Stew Leonard's iykyk got hit with a radioactive chemical and grew like the Hulk. The staff almost all seems to be from somewhere international, a few are still learning English so have patience. The meat, cheeses, sauce, seasonings, baked goods, seafood, produce/fruit, soups etc are all of high quality and reasonably priced. Honestly you'd be hard pressed not to find something amazing here. I cannot wait to go back and discover/try more items!

Jenn C.

Yelp
Been years since I have been to this market. Mom still lives close by & today I was in the neighborhood... HAD to go! HUGE parking lot, always full. One entrance on the far left, grab a cart or basket & get to exploring. To the left, seafood, cheeses & meats along with pre-made food to enjoy, dairy too. I got 2 doz. Fresh oysters for $23.00. 2 different kinds, both $2.99 per lb. Go back to the right for bakery items, fruits & veggies, spices (OH the spices), flowers, coffee, condiments, pastas... you get it. They have a small cafeteria type meal section to purchase snacks, hot meals & drinks- a few tables to relax. On the FAR side opposite meat/seafood is the beer/wine selection- a BIG selection. I found costs are not that much cheaper than a typical grocery store but many spices are per lbs & reasonable if you cook a lot! Go just for the spices!! Fresh? YES. Busy? YES!!! Do not go if you are in a hurry or don't love a crowd & fairly tight spaces. I didn't remember seeing a deli with fresh cut meats for sandwiches. I may have just missed it?! CHECKOUT is different, but works. Just pull up behind anyone at a register, lines naturally form & nobody gets upset. Find the "Checkout" signs on the celing off to the side- an entire ROOM of registers. Exit to the parking lot & enjoy your goodies!

Carol K.

Yelp
First of all, this is NOT a farmers market in the traditional sense. It's a grocery store on steriods. And the place is cold. Like walking into a refrigerated space so bring a light jacket if you plan to linger. The parking lot experience reminds me of going to Costco. You'll probably have to park and hike to the door. Ok, so what's the fuss about? The produce section is the biggest I've ever seen with every fresh fruit and veggie you can imagine. Same with breads, seafood, meats, cheeses, coffee etc. We came about a half hour after it opened on a Saturday and there was already a crowd. But everyone looks happy because the selection is top notch and prices are reasonable. Checkout takes debit or cash. Lots of cashiers made for a quick exit.

Brittany M.

Yelp
I love this place. Large parking lot , with plenty of carts. I love the huge selection of fruits veggies and random nuts chips oils etc. they have a large selection of fresh flowers , breads , a large dessert bar area. They have one section of seafood every thing you could think of fresh or frozen. A large area of meats -beef, pork , lamb, chicken cuts of all sizes. Also a middle part of like salads , macroni salads , olives etc. check out is large and you don't usually have to wait. Love this place will always return

Minnie W.

Yelp
The people shopping in them are rude but the staff is good They have great fresh produce

Cathy N.

Yelp
I love this place. It's crazy busy, but still worth it. I get the sugarcane juice usually (you have to grab a sticker from the employee near the sugar cane juicer and then pay for it before they make it). The market just holds so much variety and it's good quality produce. Would recommend this to anyone and everyone. If you can get through the crowds at Buc-ee's, you'll survive the crowds here.

Helen K.

Yelp
This is an amazing store and truly a gourmand's paradise. As a recent ATL transplant, I have been homesick for all of the California farmers markets and Erewhon. DeKalb farmers market carries every kind of produce imaginable and they also have an extensive meat and produce section with wild seafood, fish and antibiotic free meat. If that wasn't enough, they make a vast selection of homemade specialty items in house. I bought their pita bread, a quiche lorraine, and handmade chickpea pasta. Parking is plentiful. Be sure to bring your debit card and they do not let you bring your own grocery bag.

Karen E.

Yelp
With the oligarchs causing our food to be contaminated with all types of chemicals, and other toxins, I will choose my meat, fish and chicken here.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
10/10! If you're looking for any international foods, spices, drinks, fruits, you will find it here! I loved it! I can't wait to use everything I got. The space is clean and the staff is very kind! I enjoyed the diversity, so many cultures under one roof!

Ashley R.

Yelp
I've never been anywhere quite like this farmers market! Open 7 days a week, it has the freshest and best-priced produce you can find. They also offer unique types of produce that you wouldn't typically see at a grocery store. On top of that, they make fresh breads, croutons, and desserts, all of which are amazing. It is cold in there and gets crowded but it is totally worth it. It's an absolutely wonderful spot and a must-see for anyone in the area!

Wenjing S.

Yelp
Best farmers market! They have a wide selection of fresh produce. Their spices are really good price. They also have duck meat. I come here every week. They only take cash or debit card, no credit card.

Warren M.

Yelp
I went to get some seasoning. Found what I needed. Service was good. Ambiance was good also.

Fran S.

Yelp
I like going to this market, but it seems to have changed in the last few years. There used to be so much more in stock and it seems like there could be much more variety, especially with the food seasonings for it to be considered an international market. Although I appreciate what I do find here, I would like to have more like they used to in the past to make it worth the trip across Atlanta to get here.

Naomi W.

Yelp
I remember this place when it was on Medlock and Harry worked there. My kids had some good times eating BIG scoop of Bluebell ice cream with their strawberry cream cheese croissant and delicious overdose chocolate cookies. Gone are those days. Price increase I don't mind so much. It's when quality and expectations for the same taste that's not there anymore. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT - NO QUALITY control and false labeling for food that it's supposed to be. The workers are still friendly - ambience somewhat. The seafood department maybe also need some work on efficiency.

Erin S.

Yelp
Huge selection of vegetables, fruit, spices, meat, cheese, and so much more! YDFM is an experience. Give yourself time to really explore and look at the all they have to offer. It gets very crowded on the weekends especially, so go early! Great for the whole family!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Incredible place. It has everything you can imagine. Today was my first time and I WILL return. Any meat, vegetable, fruit you want!

Dannie I.

Yelp
So sad to write this... this is a wonderful market have been a customer for many years. Recently I have purchased fish on two different occasions and it's not fresh it's smells bad ... bring it home immediately after purchase on ice... had to throw away cod for parasites on it.. and some snapper that was awful .. it looked fine at the market but Jesus I won't come back here anymore. Not just the bad fish but the prices are getting out of control for a farmers market.. it's turned to a fad place to shop. The values of the market are just not there anymore. I went vegan after this fish and started my own garden. Please people be your own grocery store!

Alice B.

Yelp
Unbelievable farmers market with food and produce from different parts of the world. There's a bakery, deli, cheeses, seafood, meats, spices and alcohol. Very large. I can't believe I have never been there before living nearby for 5 years. Cash or debit only!!!

Bryon A.

Yelp
Haven't came to this locations in many years I love the way. The new inside layout is the food and the vegetables and fresh meat and poultry was on point. I will be back soon thanks.

Aamiya D.

Yelp
One of my first stops when I hit Georgia, every time. If I'm visiting for a long time I always try to take advantage of all the fresh produce I can. They have everything you can imagine from that one spice the recipe you got from Pinterest calls for to the perfect wine pairing. Cheeses galore, butchers, fresh fish, prepared foods, herbs, seasoning - everything! I wish I could bring this to Brooklyn!

Yelp
The produce was amazing and the service of those working here was on point. Met Robert, instrumental in creating this market, and then literally went to town stuff out stand up food cart....different from a bigger push cart.... We spent about $143 for items that would have been about $200 at Sprouts and two items that we would have special order. The warehouse like atmosphere was still a place where folks can still chat it up and give and receive cool food ideas. Thankful to have found this spot and looking forward to exploring what else Georgia has to offer!

Yelp
My review is an update. I love this place. Great quality meat, sausage, coffee, fresh veg and herbs, rice etc. Amazing spices and oils and wine. No photos inside

Yelp
Food from all over the world. I can't remember how young I was when this place first opened! Everything you can think of is here. Fresh fruit, vegetables, seafood, freshly baked pastries; tropical fruits, imported foods. I can't name it all. There is like an aisle for everything! You must go to see and experience yourself! My favorite is the fruit aisle and the pastries aisle. I do like the fresh squeezed sugarcane juice. They have a whole aisle of chilled fresh squeezed juices. If you can please avoid grocery shopping in the weekends. Long lines and service is slow due to crowded situation. Week days ate better as far as traffic in and out. They have like over 30 cash registers and working as fast as they can. It is fun to shop here. You see interesting products and imports. Ambiance is loud, fun, international. I like the pulling mini carts. Felt like hauling luggage haha. For a better experience it's best to go on early week day. Less hassle and calm setting.

Yelp
Prices pricess prices -seemslike they are rising everywhere and on everything. It really doesn't make sense because the workers aren't getting more money. I rmeneber when this market was be preferred place to go to save money. Now, it has become the preferred place to get raked!. While the best days to come are on days like today (Wednesday) - the crisis goes from large crowds to getting less bang for your federal reserve notes! Don't get me wrong, some products this market provides cannot be found in the greater atlanta area, perhaps the state of GA. However,I have found that the local farmers markets closer to home or in neighboring counties are more competitive on prices for equal or greater quality of similar products found throughout other stores. It pays to shop around if you plan from a budget. It keeps businesses honest. Outside of my mere truth-paste, there are certain things that I will always come here to purchase. Like the fresh "Koch" ground Turkey went from 2.88 per LB to 4.89 per LB in 2023! That is rounded near a 40% increase. The SF sourdough bread went from 4.99 per loaf to 5.79 per loaf within the last 12 months. You know how we can battle the recession? Stop price increases! Again, the money is not going to the people doing the work One of their best features in my opinion is the SF Sourdough bread. You can catch them coming out the oven steamy hot and packed for sale throughout the week. Their selection of fresh fish and shellfish is outstanding. You can get a case of fresh oysters, perfect for eating raw of grilling (grilling is the best) So there you have it. As the year ticks on and our fragile economy's rising prices can not only change a review but it can also define what are the highlights of each visit.
