We had an incredible time dining here for Valentine’s Day. It was one first time and definitely will not be our last. Every single thing we had was INCREDIBLE. We highly recommend the thin sliced tuna appetizer, the crispy rice tuna, and the shrimp & eel roll. However, the highlight of the night was the be cheesecake. Seriously one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. What made the night extra special was the service. James made sure this was a night we wouldn’t forget. He was super friendly and funny, and was happy to give us recommendations. We truly appreciate him making our night so incredible. If you’re looking for some of the best sushi in ATL, this is your place!

I came to Yuji on a solo date and found the cutest sushi spot in Midtown! The Smoking Jacket cocktail was perfect, thank you to bartender Coop! He was so sweet and fast! My sashimi app was delicious! And the tempura was so delicate I literally have no notes. 10/10

We sat at the sushi bar, and Chef Jack and Chef Charlie and Jamar’s was our server made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, they were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like we were getting a mini-omakase experience. Every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and presented with care. The atmosphere was warm, the service was personal, and the chefs truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. If you want great sushi with an elevated, intimate experience, Yuji Sushi is definitely the place. UMAI! 🍣

Highlighting the service and the ambiance because wow ! It was perfect ! Our server was attentive and answered all questions with deep knowledge of the menu! The food was okay… my Miso Black Cod was quite small and under-seasoned. However, the unagi bowl was amazing !! Definitely try this place out !

We stopped in for lunch and were seriously impressed. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was great. It felt relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for a casual outing or a special night. Savannah was our server and she was incredible. She was super friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu. She gave us some amazing recommendations that did not disappoint. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was just as good. It was stylish without being over the top, and the location is perfect if you want to grab a bite and then take a walk on the Beltline. This place is perfect for ladies night, date night, or a casual meal with friends. I would absolutely recommend it and definitely plan to come back.

Amazing quality and service! Beautiful atmosphere right on the beltline. The dishes are perfect and I personally love how the Nigiri comes with 4 healthy pieces per order. The drinks are surprisingly thoughtful and delicious. My new go to Sushi spot in Atlanta.

The atmosphere is amazing and stylish. The food was good, but not great, considering the price and quantity. I'd say that the drinks and atmosphere are the highlights. Definitely worth a try.

My wife and I dinner here last night and we're so happy we did! The experience was absolutely perfect. From the service, to the atmosphere to the food. All top notch. Every bite was so fantastic that we were a little sad when it was over. Victor was everywhere helpful with our menu questions and did a great job with recommendations. We will definitely be back. Yuji is the most amazing sushi spot on the Atlanta beltline!! Its both gorgeous and moody. The food is perfect and the cocktails are creative. The hand rolls aren't pictured here but I also love those. The Otoro tuna is INSANE. If there's anything you have to try on the menu it's that!! It melts in your mouth. Parking isn't validated, but you might be able to find street parking in the area. Right in the middle of everything on the Beltline, which makes it a perfect stop. Get a reservation!

Absolutely loved this place. Coming back from Japan a few months ago I've been looking for a comparable sushi/sashimi place, this is it. Cocktails were amazing. Vibe was right. Service was great. Got the wagu roll to start.. very good. Did the sashimi tasting with my guest, one tuna, one salmon.. best I've had maybe ever in the US.

Yuji is our new favorite fancy sushi. We also love that we can walk to it because it is on the beltline. The more people you go with and the more food you can try, which is what I recommend, because there are very few things I don't want to eat every time I come here. If you want to be outside and watch TV, you can enjoy sitting at the outdoor bar or on the patio and eating some sushi, too. Most days, I prefer dining inside because their decor and bar are so beautiful. They have an excellent cocktail menu, but I usually get the drink. It's like an old-fashioned because it comes in a cute old box with ice and the rest of your drink in a little flask, so that we can say cold. I've also had their espresso martini, and I'm sure a few other beverages from the menu. I've even had some sake. As for the food, you cannot go wrong. I have been here at least four times and have not had anything I wouldn't order immediately again. My favorite nigiri would be otoro, salmon, or scallop (disclaimer: I don't eat beef, so I wouldn't order it). For the appetizers, I would keep the Otoro and the salmon, then add the yellowtail as my favorite. My favorite rolls are the lobster roll, the salmon roll, the crispy spicy tuna or salmon box, the Yuji roll, and the Kyoto roll.

Excellent, fresh rolls and a great vibe. Everything was beautifully presented. The service was attentive. I highly recommend their house roll. They even have some vegetarian/vegan options in the roll menu which were great (smoked tomato and eggplant). The interior is gorgeous. Can't wait for the outdoor bar to be open. Definitely will be back. Thanks for a dinner.

I made a reservation to try out this new spot right on the beltline! They have a huge bar outside where you can get drinks and some menu items. We arrived early so we had an espresso martini outside. At the time they were served in plastic cups and I kind of wish they were served in normal glasses but maybe it's because it is outside and they don't want to have broken glass. When we moved inside we ordered a few different rolls/nigiri. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The aesthetics of the restaurant was also very beautiful. I've been eyeing this place for a while, and finally decided to try it out for lunch while strolling on the beltline with my sister. It was chilly outside, so we were hoping for it to be warm inside, but it was pretty chilly inside as well. We quickly realized that it must be cold due to making sure that the sushi grade fish they prepare at the sushi counter stays fresh and safe, so be aware of this just in case! We shared salmon crudo as an appetizer, and ordered the tuna poke bowl each. The salmon crudo was insanely fresh, but the flavor was just ok. The sauce didn't really do anything to enhance the flavor of the salmon like I'm used to. As for the tuna poke bowl, it was one of the best poke bowls we've ever had! The tuna was fresh, and all of the ingredients were super simple yet complemented the tuna. It honestly reminded us a bit of poke in Hawai'i due to its simple freshness!

I've always been curious about Yuji along the beltline, and I finally gave them a visit today. For lunch, I had a great experience with both front and back of house staff! My server was very sweet and friendly, and service was great. The food was also really good, I had the shrimp tempura roll which comes with eel sauce. The ambiance is very pretty and there is a lot of different seating options. I was sat by the sushi bar, which was a fun experience of its own. I also liked that they have an outdoor bar area, though it was closed due to the cold weather. I definitely need to give it a visit once it gets warmer!!

I came in here on a Monday night so it wasn't busy at all. The place is super aesthetic inside and the workers are all so friendly in greeting and serving you. Our waiter, Cooper, in particular was super funny and gave good recommendations! Cooper was also super friendly and made sure me and my boyfriend were well taken care of. The salmon nigiri had to be my fave but anything you choose will be good! I will be back whenever I visit ATL!

We found street parking. There's a parking garage attached, but not sure if they validate parking. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon our arrival. Our server was great, she had amazing recommendations. We did wait a little bit for our drinks but it was worth it! The Yuzu Ginger Smash had quite a unique taste to it, it grew on me the more sips that I took. I LOVED the Old Ward, it was very strong, but just amazing quality. I truly enjoyed every single bite. The appetizers were awesome. I loved the tempura breading, and the sauces were divine. The shishito peppers were SO GOOD. My Boyfriend said--don't go here if you're hungry, go if you want to be dazzled and delighted (lol). He said that the quality of the fish is extraordinary for Atlanta. He also said that the service is some of the best he has had in Atlanta, and I agree:) This was a really nice date night spot, with a great atmosphere.

Been seeing the buzz about this place. It happened that we are celebrating a friend's birthday here and was really looking forward to it. The space is modern and beautiful, right on the beltline. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was group of us (12 total), we were seated inside. Forgot our server's name but she was fine. She took our drink orders but not sure what order of direction she was going but she skipped me at first and I was sitting in the middle. I thought she purposely avoided me until I just stared at her to take my order. I ordered the Sakura spritz and it was super refreshing on a hot day. Thought the blue pea flower tea ice cubes was really clever! We then placed our food order, and undeniably, food here is good. Is it the best sushi in ATL? Nope but it was really good and fresh. I ordered the calamari kaarage (perfectly fried but they used panko and it was too heavy - couldn't eat more than 2 pieces), uni hand roll (whopping $32 just because it's uni. It was delicious though and you get quite a decent amount) and the negitoro maki (served with 6 pieces, it was okay and nothing memorable about it. Unfortunately, this place only gets 3 stars for me because of their service. It was a real bummer since the birthday girl got her sushi roll last. It wasn't a special roll either - quite literally 2 other people had ordered it but for some reason she didn't get hers at the same time as everyone else did. They did offer a free birthday dessert. In addition, it was warm in that restaurant. I was told their AC was broken so it was warm. I would not recommend this restaurant for big groups, definitely more of a date night kind of place.

Yuji is such a beautiful dining experience. The sushi is incredibly fresh, prepared right in front of you with a level of care and precision that feels like art in motion. Every bite is clean, balanced, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the craftsmanship and respect for the ingredients. It's elegant yet relaxed -- the kind of place that reminds you why you fell in love with sushi in the first place.

Everything was super yummy except for the green cocktail which we sent back because it had a weird aftertaste. I swapped it for the rose, which was much better. The vibe was clean and modern, very cute spot on the beltline. Standouts: lobster and salmon roll, the lemongrass chicken gyoza, calamari and snow crab kaarage ... super unique flavors that I haven't experienced before.

The drinks were great and so was the food. This was my first time trying sushi and it was so delicious I will definitely be back!! The place gave boujie which I love and its also a bar outside as well.

The food lived up to my expectations as did the ambience. Me and my friend absolutely loved the bar area and the waiters were very friendly and attentive. I was a bit disappointed though because my food took ~35 minutes after my friend's order to come because they forgot about it...

10 out of 10 experience. The restaurant is stunning. Service was good. We got the miso soup, salmon nigiri, thinly sliced tuna and caviar, salmon box roll, surf and turf roll? And Crudo roll. All fantastic.

We have eaten at Yuji multiple times since it is a 5 minute walk from our house. We enjoy the drinks and the sushi. It's very good!! You are going to pay Beltline prices, but that is everywhere on the line. The reason for 3 stars is because of their service. Hostess' act as if you are bothering them. More importantly, do NOT let them sit you where Kyle is your server. He is slow, and only pays attention to his big tables. My wife and I ate there recently. It took him 20 minutes just to bring us water and get our order of drinks. Another employee brought our drinks because they had been sitting at the bar. We could see them. This happened twice. Another 20 to come back and get our food order. We went ahead and ordered everything we wanted because we weren't sure when he would come back. That was our experience the whole night. Then, he added money to his tip. It was only a few dollars so not easy to spot when using a credit card. If he did this to all of his tables, he would dramatically increase his tips. Again, food and drinks are good. DO NOT let Kyle serve you, and check your bill.

Obsessed with Yuji, Alex Kinjo's newest sushi spot on the Atlanta Beltline. The nigiri is clean, fresh, and balanced with perfectly seasoned rice. The Sakura Spritz completely stole the show. Made with Hana sake and poured over blue tea ice cubes that slowly melt into the most gorgeous soft lavender hue. One of those drinks you order because it's pretty and end up loving because it actually tastes incredible

Visited during soft opening for Valentine's Day. Service could've been better but I think staff were just getting a rhythm as expected. Beautiful space for date night. The food was underwhelming, the sushi did not wow me. It was a bit basic for the price. Probably great for the bar scene and a roll or so.

Thank you to Savannah and the Yuji team! I saw reviews and figured it may be hit or miss but much like other reviews I had a great experience and I am really excited to come back! We sat at the 360 bar inside and had a beautiful view of the restaurant and outside bar. Sake to start, shishito peppers and mushroom on robata grill were a great light start to our meal. Chef's choice tuna sampler followed up my salmon hand roll and spicy salmon maki. Instantly added Yuji to my rotation for Inman park and off the belt line! Great food, drinks and service!

First time in Atlanta and I wanted to try sushi. I chose Yuji from Yelp due to the good reviews and ratings. The atmosphere of the restaurant was friendly and inviting, with tons of sake! If I was taking my wife on a date or going out with friends, this would be a great place to go. My server Jordyn was very friendly, courteous and made my dining experience great! She recommended the Tuna Spoons with truffles and at first I was hesitant, but after trying it, oh my goodness! It was delicious! I never would've thought I would like truffle on sushi, but this was amazing. The second part of my meal, I tried the Otoro nigiri, which was some of the freshest fish I have ever had, I've eaten it fresh caught off the boat in Hawaii and this tasted even better! The owner Alex Kinjo came in and was very friendly and I could tell he was very serious about his restaurant, cleaning up and helping his employees. Overall, the dinner was fantastic and I am so glad that I tried Yuji! I would recommend this place to anybody who loves Sushi or if you wanna try Sushi out!

The vibe and decor is really pretty and comfortable. The service was very good, the manager even came over to chat about what we liked and what could be improved. She comped our dessert because she needed our table for the next reservation. The seafood bisque was amazing, but might come off the menu until the weather gets cold again. The miso black cod was delicious and the lobster salmon roll was amazing. The maki rolls were a really good price, though I do think most of the specialty rolls sounded pretty basic for the price. The ube cheesecake was good (and I don't even like cheesecake). The cocktails were solid as well. It was a little loud but we had a lot of fun.

I came for lunch on a Sunday. The inside area was really cold So we opted to sit outside. when you sit outside, you order at the bar and then your food is brought to you. We decided to sit at the bar to avoid some of this. We ordered the sangria which is freshly made and it was really good. It came in a plastic cup. That is something about the drinks outside. They generally come in plastic cups. We ordered the tempura lobster appetizer. I wouldn't order it again. It was covered with a lot of sauce. I almost couldn't even find the lobster. My friend ordered the gyoza. It was just okay, it was deep fried and it just didn't taste fresh but frozen. I ordered the spicy tuna roll. It didn't come with a side of wasabi or ginger but when I asked for it, it was easily brought to us with plenty of it. The roll was really good.I definitely would order it again. Overall, I definitely would come to ug again.I want to try some of the other rolls and the ramen and some of the other drinks.It's a great atmosphere.

Sunday afternoon chill day date and what a perfect spot to be. Location is right in the belt line by Krog Market. Next to Brash coffee with an amazing out door bar where you can enjoy the weather sheltered. We went around 3pm and the main restaurant doesn't open until 5pm however the out door bar is open all day with a small menu of fried dumplings, hamburger, edamame etc.... We had those 3 items to share and it was delicious the pre-made cocktails are delicious and on tap and they are good! Definately will go back and sit in the main dining area

Offering a really fun outdoor bar, Yuji gives big weekend energy with good vibes and drinks near Krog. We stopped in for a tart and tangy lychee martini and enjoyed the natural and vibey ambiance. A good option for a quick drink in the neighborhood.

Yuji is set in a great location along the beltline. They built this area up really quickly and it's some of the only sushi around for miles. I ate here once before and enjoyed their calamari. The hand rolls I had were only ok as far as fish quality went, but I came back today to give it another try. Let's face it... Yuji is subpar at best The calamari was tough today and we ordered it twice and we had to fight through each bite. Tuna maki roll (6pcs) - reminded me of the tuna hand roll I had before coming back. Lack luster and just ok. Salmon maki (6pcs) - better than the tuna. We enjoyed it. Otoro Tuna Nigiri (2pcs) - this was by far the most disappointing thing we ordered. At $21 for 2 pieces, the otoro tuna was inedible. I love tuna and especially otoro, this raw fish tasted like it had been frozen and thawed several times and even appeared a bit brown on the edges. I'm sensitive to raw fish textures and this one was just not good. I spat it out. And it sucks because the taste after spitting was still pretty good, but I could not chew it.

The food was amazing. I got the seafood bisque which had lumps of crab and caviar in it. We also got the miso soup, sake toro nigiri, Kyoto roll and the crispy spicy tuna box. Everything was really good. My husband didn't like how crispy the rice was on the box roll but the flavors were there

I had a really great time here, the nigiri and sashimi is good. I tried this place out because it was MF sushi's sister and I love mf sushi!!! Their fish quality is really good, I like the way they age the fish. I love the otoro and salmon belly here. They do sell similar food items like the crab miso soup which was delicate and sweet, but what I really enjoyed was the Tokyo roll and the nigiri sashimi's. For the otoro it has a garlic crisp on top which was so yummy! And the salmon belly sashimi, they seared it perfectly! I also got the yuzu ginger drink (the one with the pandas aftertaste) and I enjoyed it. One thing that I was a little off about was that I ordered chutoro and otoro nigiri but I feel like I received the toro and chutoro nigiri instead. It's okay though! The service was really good and the ambiance was so modern and cute. The environment is great for girl's night or a date! I will be coming back!!

Took my girlfriend here for a date night, and we were both blown away. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and the passion behind everything they serve. This restaurant isn't just about food--it's about the entire dining experience. Atmosphere: Elegant and beautifully designed. Very aesthetic. 10/10 Food: Absolutely top-tier. You can taste the quality and the care in the foods. Plating is gorgeous and flavors are well-balanced. 10/10 Service: Friendly and attentive. While things moved a little slow at times, it's understandable given how busy it was--and they still managed to serve everyone smoothly. 9/10 Cocktails: Looks great and tasted amazing. 9/10 I can't wait to come back, very high-quality experience!

The service was really good by any standards, but from what I understand they were understaffed, which makes the quality even more impressive. The food is spectacular I especially recommend the lobster salmon roll and the signature Yuji roll, as well as the dessert sampler to finish everything off (the mochi was unreal). And the ambience is killer.

The best Japanese we've had since visiting Japan! Mouthwatering, inventive dishes that I will continue to think about for a long time.

The food here is pricey, but worth the experience. Everything was perfectly delicious. We ordered the crispy spicy tuna roll and the Kyoto roll. They were both amazing. The texture was perfect, presentation was beautiful and I love that they provide high quality sparkling water as well. The waiter was a bit stuck up but he did make sure our orders were put in. The overall ambiance was beautiful and I'll definitely be returning.

Had an amazing date night at this new creation from chef Alex Kinjo. Walking into this location makes you feel transported to a different place. We did not have reservations so we were seated at the bar. I would highly recommend making a reservation for the best seating options. We were offered our choice of sparkling or still water, although the choice was not a normal bottle water service that I was use to. It was their own bottle water from their Vero filtration system. It was really good. Our bartender Jess took great care of us while still accommodating the drinks being made for the restaurant. She gave us the specials and we started with the Otoro fatty tuna spoon special finished is truffles and caviar. Each bite melted in the mouth. We also had the seafood bisque which was one of my favorites that I have had. Served with fresh toasted bread and fished also with roe. Unfortunately this will be transitioning off the menu so get it while you can. We then ordered surf and turf roll which was very decadent. A wagu beef topped the roll with snow crab and cucumber on the inside. We also ordered the miso black cod. This took some time to prepare, but when it came out it was brought with a cucumber palate cleanser. It was delicious. A great experience overall and I look forward to returning to try some of the eclectic drinks on their menu. The Smoking Jacket will be the first that I try. What drink did you try?

We LOVED this place. Interior is stunning, we sat at the bar and ordered dinner and drinks. Bartender was funny and cool! Get the yuzu ginger smash - it was one of the best drinks I've ever had! Miso hummus is DELICIOUS, gyoza delicious, surf and turf roll was spicy and we didn't love the flavor, shrimp and eel roll DELICIOUS. Friend ordered the wagyu burger and loved it. OMG AND THE FRIES. Get the truffle fries. Holy cow they are amazing. For dessert, we ordered the olive oil cake and the ube cheesecake. They were out of the cheesecake so they brought us 2 additional desserts for free! Super nice of them. The tamago yaki ended up being the star!!! Overall 10000/10 I will definitely be back. Great place to impress out of towners and amazing location on the beltline right by Krog.

This is my new favorite place for the summer. The menu is a flawless crossing of so many cuisines. Cocktails were delicious. We opted to sit at the bar and it was so cute. The service was amazing. Tom gave us all kinds of recommendations. I can't wait for their outdoor bar to open so I can live there this summer.

Incredible experience all around from start to finish, beautiful decor and the food is amazing. MF has been a favorite of mine for years.. although the portions of the fish (at MF)have gotten a bit smaller over the years, this place is owned by same person and has the same quality of deliciousness. Tom the bartender was very knowledgeable and experienced in his craft...funny too! I will definitely be back! very exciting to have this new place in Atlanta. I look forward to going back again very soon

First time here and it was AMAZING. Food was 10/10 but our server Jordan made the experience amazing. Some of the best service I've had in a while!!! They were so extremely sweet and attentive to us. Will definitely be coming back!!!

The restaurant manager is rude and racist to me. I do NOT recommend at all. I have never had any experience like this to me. The bartenders are lovely but they need to fire that hostess.

Pricey, but QUALITY. Service is great (place is relatively small so they don't overextend). Sushi is fresh and delicious, cocktails are ON POINT (Desert Rose is one of the best cocktails in Atlanta). If you're a cheesecake fan, the ube cheesecake will change your life: Not too sweet, perfect balance of sweetness/lightness/creaminess, and the sesame-esque light dusting for crunch is perfection. Definitely a splurge. If you're someone that orders California rolls at sushi restaurants I'd skip this place (no judgement), but if you're someone that enjoys a solid Japanese-inspired meal experience, highly recommend.

Went to the sushi walk up window.....Way over priced for the time it took, the quality and especially the taste. We were certainly disappointed, at $18 a roll and $55 later for 2 rolls and 2 non alcoholic sodas. I expect a good sushi roll at least. I'd honestly recommend walking to Kroger for their sushi rolls and sitting in their patio instead, taste is much better and way better pricing. overall there are better spots in the area for sushi

We've been SO excited for Yuji to open and it did not disappoint! The best sushi we've had since visiting Japan, and the service is exceptional! We are LIVING for the new outdoor bar and will definitely be regulars - Nick is the BEST, he made us feel so welcome - we had so much fun chatting with him that we came back the next day! Major props to Nick, Jen and the team for an amazing experience and delicious drinks - we'll be back very soon!

Walked in and was told we'd have a 30 minute wait, came back 50 minutes later to be told we'd need to wait another hour, seems to really not be ready to accommodate anyone who doesn't call ahead to make reservations

We went during their soft opening the day before Valentine's Day and it was magnificent. Every thing that came out was amazing. We got 2 orders of nigiri, 3 rolls and one appetizer as well as 2 mocktails and paid around +- 200. It was such a good experience and the food was wonderful! Can't wait to see their full menu

My husband and I went on their 3 week of opening. Love the atmosphere, and our server was very attentive. The food was amazing we loved every dish we ordered. Must try the hummus, and uni. We will be returning sometime soon.

The bad reviews made me hesitant, but the host was very welcoming, and my experience was much better than expected. Just note that if you sit at the outside bar, you'll need a separate tab to use the Yuji's outdoor restroom, as indoor access is limited to max occupancy. The baked lobster was fulfilling.

I got a reservation for a dining table but they tried sitting me at a bar top with an uncomfortable stool. I made them honor the table I reserved but only could use it for 1.5 hours. Whatever, red flag on service. So we sat and ordered a bottle of wine and 5 items. It took around 40 minutes to receive our first item. The sushi was ok, way overpriced for the portions. I've had so much better sushi in Atlanta. It's a great location but they had a really loud DJ blasting music on the patio and it wasn't good music. It has potential but they need more sushi cooks or something because it's a large spot and they can't keep up with their orders. It's like they were more worried about getting us in and out in hour and a half but couldn't deliver on getting our food in a timely manner. Last time I'm going there.
