A casual Korean chain specializing in Yukgaejang and Seolleongtang but they also have fresh, perfectly cooked purple rice, do a great bossam, and have delicious galbi patties! I love wrapping my bossam in perilla leaves. Upon looking at the pictures on Google amd social media, it didn't seem that they offered perilla leaves so we came prepared 🤭 Upon ordering, I asked our server if they had perilla leaves and he said no so I nicely asked if it was okay that we brought our own. He said it was fine 🙂 We actually went back the next night to eat more soup!!! The owner/manager was so kind and friendly.

Yuk Dae Jang is a casual Korean eatery serving comfort food dishes like spicy beef soup, dumplings, and bossam (thin pork belly slices). The wait staff are business-like and efficient—taking orders, delivering food, and closing out orders without much chit chat. The four banchan side dishes, with kimchi and other vegetables, were a tasty accompaniment to the bowls of warm purple rice. The Beef Short Rib Yuk Gae Jang with pasta noodles ($3 up charge) came with a warm, comforting, and flavorful broth. The handmade noodles were smooth and well-cooked for a nice bite. Unfortunately, the beef short ribs were quite tough to chew. The six (6) pork and chive mandu were hugged by a light dumpling wrap—really nice bites as an appetizer. The bossam was thinly sliced and artfully arranged around a pile of sliced round onions. It was accompanied by fresh garlic and jalapeños slices, and two nice sauces that brought a good salt profile to the dish. Note: The restaurant offers frozen mandu/dumplings and yuk gae jang soup base for take out. The seating/tables are naturally laid out for groups of 2-4, although the restaurant can squeeze more tables together. There is a large amount of free parking available. ⚠️ The restaurant does not take reservations. They use a paper waitlist only. Overall, a great comfort food Korean restaurant for a group outing.

Yuk Dae Jang is so consistently good it almost feels illegal. The food always hits — the broth is rich, the meat is super tender, and the flavors take me right back to my time in Korea. I’ve dragged friends, family, and basically anyone who eats… and not one person has walked out disappointed. Service is always on point — quick, friendly, and they actually pay attention. Parking? A full blessing. Especially in Convoy where you normally need to pray, circle, and manifest a spot. And the music is lowkey a vibe. Works for catching up with friends, bringing the family, or even a cute little date night. If you want a spot that delivers every single time, this is the place. I’m obsessed.

Monday early dinner was not very busy here. We didnt have to wait for a table and there were plenty of parking spots to choose from. I ordered the premium tripe & brisket yukgaejang and it was very delicious. I will never get tired of ordering this.

Stopped in for lunch since it was on the way home and had been on our list of places to try and were so glad we did! We walked in and it was gorgeous inside with authentic pictures of their dishes on the walls. We were sat in a booth seat and given menus right away. The table already had a long Korean spoon (my favorite) and gorgeous gold chopsticks. Water was served promptly. We ordered the Premium Tripe & Brisket YukGaeJang with Glass Noodle and a 6 piece order of the Kimchi and Pork Hand Crafted Steamed Mandu. The YukGaeJang was well seasoned and served hot to the table. It was loaded with green onions, shredded beef Brisket and noodles. My wife and I shared it and still didn't finish it. The Mandu was also very well seasoned and steamed to perfection. The ponchos (sides) that were served were fish cakes, kimchi and i think green onions or leak? All well seasoned and flavorful staples! We also got a side or rice and when we ordered it the server said "white or purple?" Omg!! We love purple rice! This definitely spoke on the authenticity of this place!! Everything was so good and well worth the price! We paid a little less that $40 for everything!

I visited this place with my wife for lunch, and it was truly satisfying. We ordered Yukgaejang and Seolleongtang, and both dishes had perfect seasoning and generous portions. Not only was the food delicious, but the restaurant was also clean and well-maintained, providing a pleasant dining experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable. During our week-long trip to San Diego, this was the only restaurant we visited twice. That says a lot about how great the food and service are. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine!

The original yuk dae jang with custom made ramen is so good! I am not Korean so I don't know if it's authentic or not but it was very tasty and came out just right. I would highly recommend you come here and order only this. The Bossam was also quite good, but was room temperature where I wish all my food came out hot. The waitress was friendly and the food came out quickly and so I have no complaints about the service. The ambiance was also quite nice, although it was not exactly cozy it is very modern. Parking is easy to find. If you want to mob this place, I counted 40 seats total.

Was craving Korean food and loved their gopchang yukgaejang ❤️❤️ visited twice during my week in San Diego. I had the gopchang yukgaejang spicy level, which was the perfect 얼큰한 spicy, and their very spicy level the next time which was a great “oh this is spicy” but still enjoyable spicy :) The dumplings were solid. But I’ll always go back for the soup :)

I love this place! The Premium Spicy Braise Beef Ribs with Flat Noodle is heavenly! The meat is so tender, it is seasoned to perfection. The combination of the vegetables and noodles makes a great flavorful dish. I dream about this dish in my sleep. My friends and I love coming here to celebrate or to simply catch up and grab dinner. The Army Style Hot Pot with Ramyun is a classic. There's a little heat but the combination of meat balances out the dish. I highly recommend this place if you are craving Korean.

We came to Yuk Dae Jang after a craving for Korean food and ended up loving the delicious and comforting soups here! Between 4 people we shared a bunch of dishes to try and really enjoyed most of what we ate: - Original YukGaeJang with Fresh Ramen: Loved the ramen texture which was perfectly chewy and the soup was so flavorful and rich with a nice kick - Tripe & Brisket Hot Pot with Glass Noodles: This was great as well, we love tripe and this was perfect for sharing. We found this soup to actually be even richer and meaty than the yukgaejang so it didn't feel repetitive on flavor either - Steamed Mandu w/Spicy Baby Octopus: I've had this in Korea and was excited to see it on the menu here. I love the tender, spicy baby octopus in the dumplings along with the veggies and glass noodles. It's definitely a step up from the traditional pork dumplings and a must try! - Dried Pollack Sullungtang: This was the only disappointing dish of the night. The soup was pretty bland despite the dried pollack. We wanted to try this seafood version of the classic sullungtang but unfortunately the flavor just wasn't there and the dried fish was too tough texturally and didn't feel incorporated in the soup. We actually ended up adding some of the hot pot broth in here to boost the flavor. Overall a really solid spot for authentic Korean food! Would definitely be back for the spicy octopus mandu and yukgaejang!

I've been here a few times and right when they open because I've heard the line can get long. I've ordered their original Yukgaejang soup and it's super comforting. The broth was rich with a subtle spicy kick and the pasta was fresh, perfectly chewy and a generous portion. I've also had their brisket cold noodles and it's served icy cold and tastes even better with their spicy horseradish sauce. It's super refreshing. Overall, everything feels and tastes authentic and my expectations were definitely met. I also love their spicy fish cake and kimchi but wish they had more varieties of bon chon.

I can't stop coming here. I need an intervention. The soup is so good! I just have to decide on what kind of noodles I want in the bowl! Service is average Korean restaurant service, pretty quick, down to business. Don't be afraid to ask for napkins! Ambience is clean, spacious, minimalist minus the TVs. Small but perfect menu, what they make they make well. Sullungtang is pre-salted which is unusual, but I am okay with their salt level. Prices are reasonable given the current economy.

Yummy meal with high quality ingredients! It was super flavorful and full of spices and we both finished our bowls. My stomach is not usually used to the spices so it did upset it a little but it was well worth it LOL. We came on a Friday night at 7:30PM and it was a full restaurant. I can tell they're a little short on staff as we had to keep flagging down our waiter but we understood. The ambiance was great and they were playing K-pop on the TVs! Come check this place out

Excited to see a location open up in SD! We came in for Friday night dinner at 6:45pm, party of 2, waited about 20 min for a table. Seating was spacious, but not many seats overall. Awesome bossam, loved the flavors and variety of textures. Bulgogi was one note, just sweet. Would not get this again. I had expected this to be more grilled, as this turned out more like beef,mushroom, and noodle boiled in a sweet sauce base. Not what I would have usually ordered at a restaurant like this, but you have to respect your party's choices too. Both dishes came with rice and 3 banchan at no charge. I expected a few more banchan as well. Price was reasonable for the bossam but not the bulgogi. Staff was very tentative. Parking was easy, huge lot. Next time I do want to try one of their seafood noodles or their beef soups. 3.5 stars.

Everything about YDJ is on point. The service, the food, the ambience. During peak weekend dinner time, make sure you arrive early to put your name in the list. There's always a wait during that time. All the bonchon (side dishes) are phenomenal. The kimchi is nice and sour, fish cakes are abundant and flavorful, and the green onions are superb. My go to order is the original YukDaeJang with hand crafted ramen, hand crafted steamed mandu (pork and kimchi), bossam (boiled pork). Also, the water here is AMAZING. I used to work at Starbucks where they had a $30K triple filtration system and the water here tastes BETTER than that.

An amazing place for comforting Korean broth based dishes! You can't go wrong with the yukgaejang, which is a spicy beef broth and comes with your choice of noodles, my favorite is the fresh pasta. This time I tried the mandu and rice cake bone broth, which was so delicious and rich! It paired well with the tangy chive banchan. The interior is very cozy and the aroma of the broth fills up the restaurant. Our waiter was also great and refilled our banchan whenever we wanted.

Easy parking. Very fast takeout. Food is super fresh. They only have one item that is truly vegetarian on their menu, which is the premium mushroom tofu soup with glass noodles. It came with two kinds of banchan and rice. Sadly, the soup is extremely bland, and there were no glass noodles! Just mushrooms, tofu and a very bland broth. I'm glad that they have an option marked for vegetarians but it wasn't super appetizing. it would've been a lot tastier with some salt and with the glass noodles mentioned on the menu. So five stars for the pick up experience and friendly welcome but much less for my soup.

Went here on a cold day because the cousin said its her go to, so I figured to give it a try. The place is in a complex with plenty of parking. The place itself was small and had a rustic vibe to it. The ladies helping us were so kind. I got the Original YukGaeJang with Custommade Ramyun. I added tofu and cheese to it and got the brisket on the side because I don't eat red meat. Was able to give that to my cousin so her bowl was loaded with protein. For the side dishes we were given kimchi, chives, and fish cake. You betcha I loaded that into my bowl. I know it was meant as a side dish but that was my kind of protein and wanted to spruce up the veggie department. The broth was super hearty and creamy from the cheese. It's almost a hearty kimchi tofu soup. Lightness in sour and spice from the kimchi. Fish cake made it more savory. Chives gives it a little punch. Noodles were almost al dente. Mighty tasty and comforting. I can see why my cousin comes here on cold days. I will for sure be a repeat customer.

Friendly staff, great service, clean and welcoming atmosphere. The seating area is small, limited menu options. Everything came out hot and fresh. Bonus tasty beer that recently launched. Yum! Can't wait to come back and try something else!

The food here is always authentic and so good. Always busy whenever we go but service is always the best. Very attentive and helpful. Ambiance is typical restaurant. Not too noisy. Kpop music playing in the background. We love coming here whenever we crave bossam.

Been eyeing this place for their Bossam for quite some time. From their photos it looks delicious and I always like a good YDJ soup. We came, it wasn't busy but we had a party of 4, they had tables of 2 available and split up. So we had to wait for a bigger table around 15 minutes for a table. Not too bad. We ordered the mandu/dumpling, Bossam, original yukgaejang with fresh pasta, and bed bulgogi with glass noodles. Items came with rice and 3 bonchon, kimchi, fish cakes and green onions. Wish they gave more bonchon. Kimchi was good! The Bossam was perfect and eating it with the sides was good. The yukgaejang was delicious and flavorful too. And we really enjoyed the bulgogi with glass noodles and dumplings. Everything was excellent! We will definitely be back!

Food was amazing imo, fresh and hot and relatively fast. The seafood soup was on point. The beef with squash was a little sweeter than I like and the beef needed a little more time being cooked it was a little tough. Banchan was excellent, kimchi was amazing! Over all it was an excellent experience.

Finally got to try their short rib in stone pot and it was so filling and good! I liked that it came with noodles and some rice cake. Bossam is always a hit as well as their YukGaeJang

This place is as crowded as ever, but let me tell you, the wait is worth it! Their sides are fresh (and refreshing!) and complement every main dish well. My favorite thing here HAS to be their Pumpkin braised Galbijim. Now, I'm not so much of a pumpkin lover myself, but the sweetness and flavor that it imbues and absorbs to/from this meat is on a different level. It's more on the sweeter side so I wouldn't recommend getting this if you're not into that, but if you have a sweet tooth like me, GET THIS. It can very well feed 3-5 people depending on how hungry your group is, and paired with the sides it'll leave you feeling satisfied.

We were seated right away when we came in at 5pm on a Friday. The restaurant filled up quickly after us. The restaurant is spacious but has less than 15 tables so there can be long wait times. The small bossam and house special with ramen was more than enough for two people and arrived quick as well! The house special comes with white or purple rice. The ramen noodles reminded me of the buldak carbonara noodles, I would have loved if they came al dente. Bossam came with typical side dishes and was well seasoned.

If I want some comforting soup, this is my go-to place. I usually get the seafood yukgaejang - I tried it with original noodle and ramyun. I personally liked the ramyun more because it balanced out the spiciness better. Each bowl comes with either white rice or purple rice so it definitely makes you full! I also like that they have a vegetarian option - mushroom tofu soup with glass noodle. The broth is on the lighter side which was perfect for me.

The food is always good here. I normally don't like fish cake but the flavor here is immaculate. Seriously T~T. The yuk dae jang itself is so flavorful. It's been hard to find a good place that specializes in it. +they offer purple rice :3 I would really recommend this spot for a quick meal by yourself or with a few friends to share some food and catch up. The service is also quick and efficient. They are more than happy to get you more sides without you needing to ask. They were good on refilling waters and checking up on us to make sure our experience was going smoothly. There aren't much tables inside but the parking is spacious. 10/10 would recommend.

This place gets pretty packed, especially during peak hours and on weekends. However, they have an efficient ordering system: they take your order while you're waiting for a table, and by the time your table is ready/you're seated, your food arrives within minutes. My usual is the Bossam and YukGaeJang with Ramyun. The ramen noodles are soft and chewy, perfect for chilly nights. It kinda reminds me of birria ramen, but Korean style. I like how their bossam is thinly cut and moist/tender. The sides that comes with the bossam compliments the pork belly well. It comes on a steaming tray if you get the bigger size. Their banchan options are limited, but tasty.

Came here for the yukdaejang, a spicy beef noodle soup, and it did not disappoint. The broth was spicy and meat was tender. Comes with purple rice. It was really comforting. Also tried the spicy bibim noodles. It was super chewy and refreshing. Also tried the bossam. Meat was super tender and flavorful. I like that you can choose the size small, medium, or large. For banchans you get fish cakes, kimchi, and chives. You can ask for refills. Restaurant is a little small but only waited 10 mins to be seated.

The interior design here is really unique. The food is also good, and the side dishes are excellent.

I love that the food comes in these traditional stainless steel bowls. The restaurant is postmodern and very clean. The service was great, and they were pretty fast. They brought my take out meal over quickly after I ate my food. It was spicier than I expected, but very good traditional Korean food with lots of Korean patrons

We were seated immediately and got water + banchan super quick. Once we ordered, it didn't take too long for our food to come out, and we realized how big their portions were. The owner (I believe) made it feel like home, helped us cut the noodles for the naengmyeon and refilled our waters - Generally so attentive to all their customers. Original Yuk Gae Jang with Ramen (5/5): Creamier than I expected as I have never had it before, but it was so yummy! Not spicy and the ramen was chewy. Naengmyeon (Brisket Cold Soup Buck Wheat Noodle) (4/5): Refreshing and chewy. Meat wasn't my favorite but I liked the radish, just wished there were more cucumbers. Mandu (4/5): Came out fresh and steaming with dipping sauce. Your normal mandu!

Simple menu but delicious! Friendly staff with great service; they refilled our waters and also asked if we wanted a refill of the banchan. I ordered the original yuk gae jang with ramyun & added soft tofu, and my husband got the brisket buck wheat noodle cold soup. My yuk gae jang was nice and hot, and the portion was generous (they did not skimp on any of the ingredients!) Very flavorful and so goood! Hubby liked his cold soup too but overall, we both preferred my dish. I also really liked their fish cake and kimchi banchan.

I initially discovered Yuk Dae Jang at their Rowland Heights location, so when I was down in Kearny Mesa, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have a location here too. The mandu (dumpling) and rice cake in ox bone soup is a hot delicious bowl of comfort. The pork belly bossom is the star of the show and one of the main reasons I eat at Yuk Dae Jang. It's accompanied by a variety of side dishes to wrap the meat in. Don't sleep on this when you come here! Our servers were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Come here to get your fix of Korean comfort food in a casual setting!

My new goto. We ordered: 1. 육개장: traditional style glass noodle and beef $17.99 - a lot of beef, so tender, perfectly comforting flavorful soup. 2. 보쌈: house soy flavor- buttery soft pork belly slices served with toppings- must eat every bite with a bit of garlic, jalapeño, 새우젓, 된장, and some soy marinated onion and Korean chives. Add some 짱아찌 spicy pickled veggies for even more flavor. 3. 냉면: cold noodles in tangy beef broth- Alex loves this dish whenever we go anywhere- this one hit all the marks- delicious! Be sure to add a 1-3 spoonfuls of hot mustard and vinegar, each, to taste. He gave it a thumbs up. Somehow, the flavor of the pork belly enhanced the flavor of the soup so that we just couldn't stop eating . Best meal I have had in a long time.

Been here two times and got the army stew (budae jjigae) both times. We came around 5 pm on a Friday and were seated right away but it filled up quickly. The army stew was full of spam, sausages, tofu, mushrooms and rice cakes and came with ramen noodles and 2 bowls of rice. It was pretty spicy but delicious, rich and flavorful. The portion was big enough for the 3 of us and we had a little leftover. It can be pricey but I would come back to try their galbi jjim and other dishes.

Stopped by for a quick lunch with a friend while I was in the area. I have been wanting to try it since they opened but never had the chance. They are in the same plaza as PT eatery and right next to where Zen curry used to be. Parking is usually easy to find since they have such a big lot. We came in on a weekday so there was plenty of tables open and we were seated right away. Service was actually very fast and the staff was super nice. We shared a small order of the bossam. It is nice that they offer a smaller size because sometimes I want to have bossam but ordering it might be too much. I also ordered the spicy cold noodles for myself and the portion sizes were very large. I had a lot to take home after which was nice. They did not have as many options for banchan as other Korean restaurants that I have been to. Overall the food was pretty good and I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

This review is long overdue. Was there May 17 2024, tried to get in 2x before that but was too late in the evening and they were closing the kitchen. When we arrived for lunch was taken well care of and ordered a decent amount of foods. So glad to hear all sauces were made from scratch and in house. My only complaints are their banchan, they need a much larger variety to compete with local Korean businesses in the neighborhood. Great customer service, excellent tasting food, and I love anything that is made from scratch. For sure will be back!

Been here 2 times and got the budae jjigae (army stew) both times. On a Friday 5pm, we got seated right away but it quickly filled up. The stew is packed with spam, sausages, veggies, tofu and rice cakes. It was rich and a little spicy. The 3 of us shared it but I felt it was pretty pricey. Overall, I would come back for their other dishes or galbi-jjim!

We love coming here and enjoy a consistent experience each time. Being old(er) we tend to have earlier dinners including drinks. The ambiance doesn't quite get ready for soju until closer to 7pm maybe. That didn't stop us. Especially with their soju choices. Chamisul Original for us always. We may have been loud The bossam is nicely arranged, stews and soups are very tasty. The hot pot option will feed 3-4 so one would be great with a group and order a couple of more entrees on top of that. There were still many options we wanted to try, but we will be back--perhaps later in the evening although it started to pick up quickly as we were leaving.

Listen....i haven't been the same since coming here. Its been about 1 year since i tried this place and I've probably come 10 times lol. Everything I've had is good, but NOTHING COMPARES TO THE GALBI-JJIM. Its expensive yes, and huge, but please trust me its so worth it. My boyfriend get this everytime, even if its just us 2. The meat is sooo incredibly tender and savory. The dish itself has this amazing sweetness because of the pumpkin. Normally I'm not a huge glass noodle fan but I cant get enough of it in here! Other items i love are anything with the fresh pasta! I've gotten the bossam a few times and it was kind of hit or miss. When it hits, it's tender and super flavorful. When it misses, its cold and tough.

Looking for cold Korean noodles and this was the perfect spot! Menu is straightforward and simple. Got two noodle dishes and both were flavorful and delicious. Banchan is delicious too. Smaller restaurant so less tables but we got seated right away on a Monday evening. Located in a strip mall so parking is easy!

When we arrived there was decent crowd of people waiting outside which made me think the wait would be really long but we were quoted for a 30-minute wait. They have fairly efficient system as they took our order before we actually sat down. We got seated in about 30 minutes and the food came within 5 minutes after. The banchan (fish cake, kimchi, green onions) were all really great starters and compliments to the meal. The Yukgaejang with custom ramyun noodles was super tasty! The broth is really deep and flavorful and a bit spicy. Very addicting. The brisket is also super tender and shredded (similar to carnitas). The Sullungtang was also really good and more mild in flavor. We got the one with rice cake and mandu. While still good, the flavor is simply not on the same depth and level as the yukgaejang which is totally fine! 2 very different types of soup.

Great place to enjoy Korean food with friends! We just went here after I asked where to get some good spicy food. The noodles and broth were great! Most of my friends agreed it was traditional but one thought it should have been more flavorful. My wish was for more seating. It's not my favorite place for ramen but I'd still go back.

My new goto for Korean food. Fresh pasta yuk gae jang was delicious. Flavorful broth. The small bossam was a good size and pretty tender. Banchan was good. The kimchi was very good. And you can buy a whole jar of it. Service was great.

The flavors here are something that cannot be replicated anywhere else. I order the original with soft tofu, and I'm not a big fan of eating meat (broth is okay), so I asked for it without the meat and it's still amazing! The banchan are also so flavorful. I arrived right at 11 to ensure I didn't have to wait for a table and the service is quick and friendly.

We were visiting from out of town and decided to stop by after seeing some great reviews--unfortunately, our experience didn't quite match the hype. The male server was wonderful--kind, attentive, and made us feel welcome. But the older woman with gray hair? Let's just say she brought a very different kind of energy to the table. While we were still in the middle of our meal, she silently dropped off the check without asking--nothing like being told "wrap it up" without a single word. And when we looked at the bill, it wasn't even correct. She also took the high chair away on her own, assuming our child wouldn't use it--without asking, of course. It was around 5 PM, only three tables were seated, so the rush wasn't exactly real. Yet somehow we felt like we were being quietly pushed out the door. Not quite the warm, local gem we were hoping for. Maybe we just caught them on an off day... or maybe those glowing reviews were written during a different shift.

My friend and I came on a weekday night around 7 and it was packed! The hostess/server told us if we were ready to order we could while we were still waiting for a table, never done that before but honestly saved time. The service was good as they were busy but still able to give more side dishes. The food came out pretty fast. We ordered the bossam and the original noodle. Both were really good and so filling. The purple rice is always a must! The soup was a little salty but it was still good regardless.

Everything I tried here is so good! We come here almost weekly since we dined for the first time on Mother's Day 2025.

Came across Yuk Dae Jang while looking for Korean tofu soup. Wait was about half an hour around 6pm on a Friday. Service was very efficient. The hostess took our orders when our table was almost ready and our food was ready shortly after we were seated. I shared the Original Yuk Gaejang with Fresh Pasta and the Bossam. The menu and banchan was more limited and focused on quality. The yuk gaejang was creamy and with a good spice. The fresh pasta had a nice chew to it. All the sides that came with the bossam nicely complimented the pork. I appreciated the way the bossam was kept warm with the steaming tray.

Super fast service. Ordered three dishes for three people and were in an out a little less than 1 hr. Crazy. I do wish they had a bit more banchan instead of just three. Dishes were flavorful, filling, and staff was super kind. Good place to try authentic Korean dishes that aren't always easy to find.

I tried the original yukgaejang with pasta (similar to the noodles in kalguksu) and thought it was pretty good. Savory, hearty, comforting , and beefy. The portion was big enough that I had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Next time, I would increase the spice level for a little extra cost, but if you're not that good with spice, even the default might be a bit spicy for you (it was for my husband). It's not cheap at $20 for a bowl, but it's comparable to the cost of a ramen bowl these days and it's much harder to come across yukgaejang, so I'm glad I decided to try this place out. I liked the banchan they gave out, too, even though there was limited variety. Service is friendly and the restaurant is clean and roomy. The rest of the menu looks promising, too. I will be back.

We came across this place as we were looking for Korean food. We arrived on weekday afternoon and got seated right away. The place is really cute. Cozy but still have a modern vibe. If you want Korean comfort food then you have to try this place. The food came out fairly quickly and they are good portion to share as a group. I wouldn't suggested ordering it as an individually unless you want to take it to-go for later or the next day (not a bad idea). Everything was delicious. The banchan were limited but they provided refills. The service was good and the girls were friendly. By the time, we left, the place was packed and I can see. The place is in an area with plenty of parking places. There may be a wait if you come after six. Will definitely come back with company.

Came here after Comic-con on Friday and there was no wait for 4 around 4:30pm. This place has cozy Korean food and decor is very aesthetic with a modern cultural vibe. We ordered bossam, two types of mandu, & the yukgaejang with Ramyeon. Everything was soo good especially after walking around comic con. I love the gold plates & utensils we got to use. The yukgaejang was my fave bc the broth is soo addicting! The bossam is high quality and all the sides are soo good. Everything we ordered was enough for all of us. Service is here very friendly and sometimes you'll see the owner working the front and serving. She's super nice! Coming back for the beef stew!

How good could a bowl of meat and ramyun be? Turns out VERY. It smells delicious the minute you walk through the door. I got the original Yuk with "customade ramyun". I heard the fresh pasta gets overcooked quickly which was true for my friend's bowl. The soup was so beefy and tasted almost buttery, it was so rich and comforting. The beef was ultra tender and the aldente noodles went down nicely. Although the banchan was small (only 3), the unlimited kimchi and fish cakes were tasty. Beautiful spacious space inside with friendly staff and a big parking lot, a rare find in Convoy. Will definitely be back to try other things but the original already deserves a revisit.
