Very Good Sushi! Brussel sprouts were cool it probably taste better with the bacon as it was intended but I don’t eat pork. The lychee martini is made very well as well as the old fashioned. It’s also a really pretty restaurant with a trendy looking upstairs that we did not venture up. The sushi rolls were big portions and made very fresh!! The Georgia Crunch, Braves and Rolls Royce were delicious. The fried rice is prepared very well. If you are looking to keep it a little lighter you can try the salmon teriyaki served only with white rice. Will definitely be returning….

My Fiancé and I decided to come here for the first time tonight after receiving a recommendation from a close friend. Restaurant was very easy to find, and the atmosphere was very nice. It was beautiful on the inside, intimate, not too loud either. The staff were extremely friendly. We were seated immediately once inside and brought waters upon taking our table. We ordered 3 kinds of rolls, the Lobster Tempura, Spider Roll, and Shrimp Tempura Roll. All three were fairly priced, as we spent $50 all together. They came out quite quickly, and tasted delicious! We LOVED the Lobster Tempura Roll, it was an absolute favorite. I would absolutely recommend Yuka to anyone who is looking for a great sushi restaurant with high quality food at a great price!

I’ve picked up food from here a lot and it’s always really good! The Food is tasty and consistent, so I always feel confident ordering from here. The vibes are cool, but often quiet, and the staff is very very friendly.

We came here last night to celebrate a promotion and everything was delicious! We ordered quite a good amount: two appetizers, one entree, four rolls and a bottle of sake. The rolls came in a set of 8 per roll so it was a lot! Perfect for a family of 4. We had Vanesha as our server and she was so kind and helpful, truly a joy. The restaurant is beautiful and it’s not too loud either. Perfect for parties, date nights, anything really. 10/10 would recommend!

I’m sad to leave this review because Yuka used to be my favorite sushi place, but I’ve to find a new fav now. Yuka was good for the first few years before it seemed sold to a new owner. I had unagi craving today and opted to order the Una Q Roll (description says unagi and cucumber, nothing else), but the roll that I got contained just fake crab and cucumber. There was no taste of unagi, so I looked for it, and found just tiny barely visible pieces. It was essentially just a crab stick roll. This is particularly disappointing because when ordering I was tossing between Una Q Roll $13, or pay $3 more for Energy Roll that comes with shrimp tempura, avocado and crab inside, and unagi, masago and eel sauce outside. Energy Roll was tempting, but I thought that opting out of shrimp, masago, avocado, crab and unagi sauce meant that I would get more unagi. How wrong was I! I got crab stick roll instead! Just be honest in your description, and I would have ordered the Energy Roll.

The interior atmosphere is gorgeous and makes you feel like you're dining at a michelin star restaurant, but the prices are surprisingly not too expensive! The salmon and amaebi were the freshest I have ever had in my lifetime, and the tamago came torched and super warm and delicious as well! There's also free parking for two hours in a nearby parking garage. This is literally my only review I have ever written but this place totally deserved it. Thank you so much for the amazing dinner experience!!

Atmosphere was cute, the host was very nice and accommodating, my hibachi was average. I’d recommend just sticking to sushi. Unfortunately the service from our waitress was terrible. She did not once come to our table to check on us after taking our order. She barely said a word to us and came back at the very very end to give us our checks and collect payment.

I enjoy getting takeout from Yuka, and my go-to is the Alaskan roll - the salmon is fantastic. While some of their unique rolls didn't quite hit the mark for my taste, I recognize that's a personal preference. The sushi is a bit on the pricier side, but it aligns with Sandy Spring area prices. My husband and I always drop at least $80 for our meals. Overall, a reliable choice for a sushi fix.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend, one that I will never take recommendations from again. The staff were nice enough but were all over the place. Our bartender was the delivery guy, hostess and server. Our food was mediocre at best! The Korean fried chicken was tasteless and our sushi was mushy. My husband rush to get a cokes to settle our stomachs. Is it possible, that we caught this restaurant on an off night? Yes, but I'm doubtful. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this sushi bar.

Wow! One of my favorite places for lunch on the weekends - great food and excellent service! I absolutely love the cherry blossom decor as well. You get a lot of tasty food and drinks for a great value. Their bento box is great - you get soup, salad, sushi, meat, sides, and fruit all for under $30 (my boyfriend's favorite). Their sushi is very fresh and tasty; I personally love their salmon and tuna maki rolls. I highly recommend!

For the love of food & sushi that is! Uh-may-zingggg sushi!!! Everything taste very fresh & made to order. The spicy garlic edamame was so delish as well as the crab rangoon. I really enjoyed the lobster tempura & the spider roll. I actually loved everything we ordered today. Shrimp fried rice was good as well.. I will say the drinks were made super cute but they definitely lacked in what i expected the cocktail to taste like, it was more like a flavored water. Of course i couldn't leave without fried ice cream!! 10/10. Will definitely revisit this place! I loved the ambiance as well, it is so pretty inside & clean. Our server could have cleaned up our table as he was bringing in more plates, he did lack that part & had our table overwhelmed with plates & i had to stack some of our things up. Otherwise 100% gem.

Such an amazing interior in this place! Located in Sandy Springs, the area offers valet parking but there's free parking in the garage for 2 hours. The waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable in the menu which I love cause I'm always indecisive. Settled on the Buckhead Roll which was soooooo good 10/10! The shrimp tempura was cooked well and the eel tasted very fresh and I love that especially when eating raw fish. Similarly, the bluefin tuna maki roll was fresh as well! This was my first time (knowingly) ordering a maki roll and it won't be my last. The maki rolls were relatively inexpensive too going for $7-$12 for 6 pieces which I can't complain. Maki rolls are easy to add to their other rolls with out breaking the bank. Overall, loved it here and will definitely be back!

I think I may have found my go-to local sushi joint in Sandy Springs! It's located on a busy portion of Roswell Road. Parking is going to be what you find in the street, or the nearby decks in the back and side. Should not have any issues finding a space. Interior was cute and modern, and you can't miss the cherry blossoms all over the ceiling. It's a nice touch that makes it standout from most other restaurants in the same niche. Service was attentive and timely the whole stay. Highlight was surprisingly the tempura appetizer. That sauce they have is some of the best I've had ever! As for sushi, I got my usual Rainbow Roll, and we shared one of the special ones that had unagi and avocado. Everything was tasty, and I think the fish and rice quality was solid. If I had to be picky, I think some of the fish pieces were a little too thick? The price is just a hair higher than what I'd like for this level, but you're probably paying to be in a nicer area. Overall, I'd come back here to chill with friends. No one's ever going to argue that this is THE BEST in town, but it doesn't need to be.

This is my go to sushi place in my "hood" Beautiful restaurant and food, but they really need to work on their staff. I always bring my friends from out of town and everyone is always happy with the food, just not the service.

The place is gorgeous & their food was a solid 3.5 star only thing I'd recommend is offering yum yum sauce with the fried rice. The chicken hibachi left my youngest disappointed he didn't touch it. It's not the typical hibachi more like flash fried dry teriyaki chicken w huge onions peppers &carrots definitely room for improvement otherwise sushi was 3star only 1 out of 3 rolls was truly delicious the rest were just ok.

Ordered the sushi regular (5 nigiri, 6 piece salmon roll, miso soup) for take out. It was prepped quickly and the person that greeted me was very kind and polite. The sushi regular was pretty good ($21.99+tax+tip). Fresh, sizable, and well laid out. The rice was a litttttle stale but can't complain really. They packed a bag of ice to keep everything fresh. I obviously didn't stay in but I've eaten at Yuka before and the ambience is nice. The decor is pretty with fake trees inside and dark wood for tables.

I came here with my mom, and the service was speedy and friendly. We got the vegetable tempura appetizer and it was very plentiful for the both of us, she got the sashimi salad entree and it was beautifully assorted and everything tasted fresh. I ordered the Dragon Roll and Alaskan Roll, and I can't express enough how incredible their salmon and eel is! Their salmon tastes so fresh that it almost has a naturally buttery taste to it, and the eel is soooo tender but still has that fishy firmness. It is literally the best sushi I've had since moving down south, and I have tried LOTS of sushi places. It's really the amazing salmon for me, I'd eat twenty nigiri pieces of that alone. Also, the atmosphere is very unique looking, and the decoration must've had extensive effort (they literally constructed a cherry blossom tree in the restaurant). Would 100% come back, and 10/10 recommend. If I lived around here, I'd come here every week.

I was so excited to visit Yuka after reading the reviews and hearing so many good things about it. The food did not disappoint. While my opinion of the specialty rolls were that they all appear way too heavy, they did have a menu of "fresh rolls." These are rolls where the fish can really shine. I had the Samurai and the Rainbow. Both were excellent. I also enjoyed a sake flight which provided a nice eclectic mix of sake. The service is where I was disappointed. The restaurant was very quiet (it was 7:30 on a Wednesday) and only four tables were occupied. Still, it took an extreme amount of time for the server to take my order and for the order to be made. Once I received my sushi, I never saw the server again until I got up to ask for the check. I wish she had checked on my. I would have ordered and enjoyed more. Maybe it was a bad night. Great news - service can be improved and the food is already fantastic.

Visited this place for the first time last week. Arrived 40 minutes before closing and they weren't slacking off at closing time. They treated my daughter and I well. My daughter ordered crunchy fried lobster rolls and I ordered crunchy, spiced tuna. We were both happy. Mine was great. Her lobster was great and exactly what we hoped for. We were still finishing up and lost in conversation ten minutes after closing. No one seemed to care and no one rushed us out. Another great new to me Sandy Springs restaurant. I am looking forward to going back and trying something new. I thought the pricing was fair. My daughter who lives in LA thought the pricing was cheaper than we had any right to expect. I'll be back.

I have come here a few times and always enjoy the food! We ordered the 3-4 veggie option rolls and then the others ordered sashimi. The service was great and the waiter was very helpful! Highly recommend coming to try out

I love the food and coming here but do not like when the server is annoyingly standing over us, rushing us out, or telling us "they close." Not professional.

Ordersd yellowtail, Carpaccio,came up with some kind of cooked fish. They fixed it later But instead of jalapeños they put green pepper on it. Fish is very fresh but otherwise be careful what you order. I ordered spicy tuna hand roll but got regular spicy tuna roll on and on and on.

The ambience is nice. The service was interesting, but ended incredibly well. The bluefin tuna is incredible! I had two tuna sets and gyoza and they were some of the best tuna I've had and I love sushi so I have had a bit. I was trying to go to the ramen house next door and happened to pop in because I didn't have time to wait for ramen. Absolute pleasant surprise. If you like sushi/ Japanese fair you will love this spot. Everything looked delicious. Presentation was also impressive as well.

Great value for how much food you get in a bento box. The place is beautifully decorated with fake cherrys all over the place.

What a cool place! Inside and outside are so uniquely designed. It's a fun atmosphere and their menu is huge. Everything we tried tasted wonderful. We could have kept eating! Service was average, but nothing wrong. I can't wait to return!

Yuka Sushi is my favorite place to eat in Sandy Springs. I love everything about this place - it's gorgeous decor and Japanese details, food that is always fresh and beautifully presented, welcoming service, pleasant music. Try their Ruby Red Slipper Roll.

Ok so usually I love this place. My coworkers and I go often and I usually order once a week. The quality is worth the price for sure. BUT today I ordered two portions of the Maguro (fatty tuna comes in 3 medium size pieces), ginger salad, miso soup, a side of spicy Mayo, and a side of eel sauce. What I received was one order of the tuna cut into 6 small slices and one small container of half eel sauce and half spicy Mayo. Also the spicy Mayo was gross and must've been the wrong sauce. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. my coworkers canceled their orders.

this is my #1 sushi spot in atl!!! the service is amazing and they always seat me without a reservation. I like to eat raw sushi so it is very important that what I'm eating is fresh, and this place checks all the boxes. the sushi melts in your mouth and every bite is SO tasty. i've introduced so many friends and family who all love this spot now!! if ur looking for a restaurant with a nice ambience, good service and the best tasting sushi, come here!!

Annoyed I ordered shrimp tempura sushi rolls and got shrimp sticks. Trusting the service i did not check. Waste of money. Never going back. Simply because instead of providing great service and double checking, people are rushing and just wanting money.

Long wait in an empty restaurant. I have visited this establishment numerous of times because of their great sushi and lychee martinis. My recent visit was very different I waited 35 minutes to order when there were only 2 other tables, one party of 2 and a party of 3. My party of two waited 35 minutes to be greeted then over an hour for one of my sushi rolls. I don't know if it's new management or I came on a bad day.

Had a really great experience! Our server was amazing! Very attentive and made recommendations. We chose outside dining and the weather was perfect for it. While I love sushi, I'm still pretty limited with what I order. I know, I know...I should expand my pallet. But for my similar friends, they have a large selection of rolls that are not raw! Lol We started with a bowl of edamame, can't go wrong there. You like it or you don't, can't really serve it incorrectly. We also ordered a bottle of blueberry sake. It was interesting. Can't say that I'd order it again. It we definitely finished it seeing as we ordered a whole bottle. It had a weird after taste of string imitation blueberry and was really sweet. I ordered two rolls. Volcano and Calamari Tempura (Recommended by the server). I really enjoyed both and it was way too much food for one person.

The gyoza!! Get it! It won't disappoint! Amazing service with amazigg no cocktails and sushi. One of my new favs!! Great addition to the sandy springs are. I will be back

Great food and the service and ambiance was nice. However they are not a very child friendly establishment and do not provide this information anywhere. Visited on a slow afternoon with my one year old and they do not have any type of high chair or booster seat Would of chosen another restaurant if this was stated on their website or yelp page.

Best sushi in Atlanta IMO & I've eaten a lot of sushi around over the last 20 years. Exceptional staff -- always feel very welcomed by KJ and the owner when I come in. Fish slicing is beautiful and generous. The fish has almost a butter-like texture even for the salmon that reminds me more of the experience of eating Bluefin/Otoro. Saki selection is extensive with an area to go browse through them and they provide an excellent background on Favs and styles. The outdoor patio is relaxing and I love sitting at the bar there. Interior is well thought out and intimate. Very clean and sophisticated kitchen and bar. I enjoy coming by for drinks even if I'm not in the mood for sushi. Enjoyable music that has a modern chill vibe. A real standout must-try item is the Avocado Creme Brûlée -- such a unique experience. The idea of creme brûlée of a savory item like Avocado served over shredded carrots (which add a surprisingly great taste/texture). Another amazing flavor is the use of what tastes like Nero truffle on some of the fish which is a surprisingly superb complementary addition. The biggest thing I've noticed is consistency in the quality. Same people working all the time. Same high end fish experience. Same pleasant atmosphere. Just good energy through and through.

The venue is cool and I really loved the fake tree. As for food: The sushi was solid and next time I'll try a different roll.

I pass Yuka each time I get my hair braided & due to a friend raving about Yuka, I finally got the opportunity to stop by. Although a Carry-Out order to feed six people, the food & experience was on point. When I called to place the order Bernard was so welcoming & helpful in taking the multiple orders I had for him. Same friendly service upon my arrival. He walked me through the orders to ensure the accuracy & took pride in showing me all the packaging/condiments/utensils, etc he personally put together. Of course, everyone was satisfied with their food & everyone was on one accord regarding the prices. There's plenty for the V-Crew as Bernard stated that the kitchen & sushi bar team welcomes accommodations to make sure all customers are happy. Various places to eat - at the colorful bar, main dining area, upstairs, or on the enclosed patio with a firehouse window setting. Side street parking amongst the cobblestone backdrop. I look forward to returning to dine in.

This place was unexpectedly amazing-- I just walked over from my apartment craving sushi, and they absolutely delivered. I stand by the fact that this crab Rangoon was the best I've had in my life (it comes with 5 pieces, I just couldn't wait to start eating them). Service was great, not slow but they definitely left us alone, cocktails were delicious (the lychee martini was a bit strong but still great), and the rolls were perfect. The fish tasted fresh, the sauces were excellent, and the rice was exactly as it should've been. I can't hype up the crab Rangoon enough-- that in and of itself is a valid reason to visit!

Great food! Always good every time ! I've taken friends and family here for good dinners and I've experienced great service. My cousin and I took pictures because the ambiance is truly a cool experience!

Parking is tough since it's in a residential area off the main drag, but the sushi was delicious. Service was friendly and not overbearing. Fish was fresh and sushi was well made.

NO HIGH CHAIRS! I've never been to a "casual" restaurant (esp a franchise chain...apparently) that did not have high chairs. Literally unbelievable! Food: Very over priced but decent to taste. A side of veggie fried rice was $15. The lychee martini was tasty but strong so harder to drink than I had imagined. (I needed it after my toddler had to sit in my lap the entire time bc they didn't have any booster seats or high chairs.) Service: SLOW. I was there on a Wednesday night so I assumed it would be pretty quick since it was empty but the lady was slow and kept forgetting to bring things to us. I learned that other locations do 1/2 priced sushi but this location doesn't so there's some weird discrepancy about that since they are the same establishment I assumed they would both have the same happy hours or things like that especially if the menu is exactly the same. Parking: retail lot and street parking available

It's about time I write a review for my favorite sushi place! I've been coming here since I moved in March and you can find me at the bar chatting with James after a good day, a tough day, or whenever I need a roll or two! I always feel welcomed and appreciated, and their food is FIRE! I've never had a roll I didn't like or wouldn't recommend.

For a while I've had this on my list because I see 50% off sushi outside .. kinda reminded me of my first review of "YUKA Roll and Pho" in Suwanee (which I love). Finally walked in Friday night on 12/5/20, guess what... they were no longer doing 50% off .... BUT it WAS the 2nd location! The menu was almost exactly the same so I already knew what was up.. **takoyaki - sooooo good!! Watch out it's HOT ! Give it like 4 min to cool off. But yummmmy. The octopus was perfect and the breading was spot on! Must try! **TNT Roll - I LOVE the cut up fried shrimp tempura on top with the avacado and crab inside *Buckhead Roll - tasted almost the same but the shrimp tempura was in the inside of the roll. Liked how there was eel on the top *Mountain Samurai Roll - spicy tuna with mashed up fish on top.. it wasn't our favorite but still ok. *** OTORO Moriwase- 2 PCs of OTORO , yellow fin. And salmon. SOOOO WORTH IT!! Best dish of the night and it was sooo fresh! Overall they could improve on COVID regulations but overall very tasty and we will be back!

Poor customer service - food wasn't bad. Did you come check after food was served - had to ask for service on three occasions. Pricey for what's received quantity wise....

The sushi was divine in this place. The rice was tender and the sushi melted in my mouth. The fish too was so tender, and the portions were really generous. It is a fantastic place, also loved the cheery tree decorations. Really lovely. This definitely will be my to-go place for Sushi.

I noticed Yuka's "50% off ALL Rolls" sign last week & suggested it for lunch today! I'm glad I did! The best sushi for half the price! The ambiance is perfect for a date night, family night or just catching up with friends, with great seating inside or outside! The patio area is nice with tea lights and a heated lamp for colder nights! There's also a super cute indoor/outdoor bar (limited seati We started off with the Sweet Miso Brussel Sprouts which were delicious although the bacon was on the salty side, great nonetheless! I ordered the Georgia Crunch Roll & the Hawaiian lady Roll! Both were delicious, but if I had to choose, I'd definitely go with the Georgia Crunch! My BF ordered the Volcano Roll & On the Bayou, which he also mentioned were very good! 2 Rolls will definitely fill you up. They're great size portions with lots of flavor We will definitely be back to Yuka for these amazing specials & Sushi Rolls!

This little restaurant is located right next door to the famous ramen restaurant, Okiboru. We stumbled upon it by accident. We ordered the Soft Shell Crab Tempura and the Sashimi dinner with 5 different types of fish. The tempura was fried perfectly. The sashimi was cut thickly and was very fresh. Biting into the fish was like biting into butter. To top it all off, our waitress was excellent. She was super friendly and treated us like we were family. We were very impressed with this restaurant and will definitely be visiting again!!

I used to love this place for lunch but they ignore you when you sit down. We then started to get food to go but the prices are too high for what they bring you. Sorry Yuka :(

Honestly the best sushi I've ever had. Pricey so it's not a place I'd go to often, but when I want to treat myself with sushi and tempura, I'll go here for sure. The environment is lovely (but not very social distanced), the sushi was really tasty and the service was great. They had them sorted into different kinds of sushi on the menu too (fresh rolls, tempura rolls, baked rolls, etc) so that was really helpful. Loved it!

One of my absolute favorite places to dine. This place is so good I have become a total regular lol. With warm weather approaching their patio is the highlight. The food is outstanding. I usually order the jalapeño bombs, shrimp tempura, shrimp Yaki soba, shishito peppers, gyoza, and the fire crunch roll. Yes..the food is so good I order many things. If you sit at the Bar ask for Bernard. He is my absolute favorite. Top notch service and delicious food equals a win win for me

One of the newer sushi spots to open up in Sandy Springs in one of the new developments. You can't miss it off of Roswell rd. I ordered to go and found parking on the street in front of the apartment building. I believe there's a parking garage but I'm not sure if it's free. Ordering to go was easy enough. I ordered over the phone, went in to pay and grabbed my food although I really appreciate when I can order and pay online. I ordered two rolls, the rolls Royce and Georgia crunch rolls. They were ok. Nothing I'd jump to try again. I actually prefer a much more simple roll so I can really enjoy the taste of the fish. This place does have a pretty extensive menu so there's plenty to try. One bonus is that the rolls are pretty huge so you can definitely be more than satisfied with 2-3. Now there are more than a few good sushi restaurants in this area but if you've tried them all you may as well give this place a try.

To be honest, the food was a 5/10. Probably the worst chicken teriyaki I've ever gotten. I added my hand in the photo to reference for how small the portion size is. The plate was $16.99 for three bites of food haha. Very upset. My lover got the ribeye fried rice and it also wasn't enough food and smelled strongly of meat (and not the good kind.)
